Came for a girls dinner. It was very busy on a Saturday night. I enjoyed the lychee martini. We started off with calamari. These were perfectly cooked and fresh. But definitely wasn't enough for 3 people. I had the Pappardelle bolognese. It was a good portion. And okay taste. Then we had dessert and it was really good too. I wish I remembered the name! Overall I liked the atmosphere and energy of this place. The menu was just okay.

A very pretty and well decorated brunch spot on south beach. It doesn't get simpler than that and it really doesn't need to do anything else service or ambiance wise. The wait staff is great. I really loved how they let us linger for a while after our brunch was eaten just to hang out and chat. The space is super nice and I really loved the outdoors especially during this time of year where the weather is flawless. The food is ok. Nothing incredible, nothing special, definitely a bit over priced for the quality. I had the shakshuka and you could tell the tomato sauce came right out of a can. But beyond that, it's a nice place to hang out. Just don't come explicit the best quality dining experience.

I went here for brunch one time and another time for dinner. I personally didn't find my brunch anything special, very bland. BUT when I came back for dinner another time with friends it was amazing! Great service, nice atmosphere and the food was delicious.

This is a very cute bistro with a varied menu- something for everyone. It's a bit pricey but portions are big and food is made with quality ingredients. I had the primavera pappardelle pasta which was very fresh but lacking flavor. Once I put on some olive oil, salt, and pepper it was great. My friends had salads and loved them. The service was quick and felt a bit rushed by our waiter. He also wasn't friendly and when I asked what items didn't have dairy he was very dismissive and gave me one option. Nonetheless I would still return here as it is nice to sit outside and has lots of options of cuisine, also maybe to try their happy hour.

The food was delicious. The service was great, but we were surprised at the end with the 20% service charge. We probably would've picked another restaurant had been known that.

The food and drinks here were wonderful. The outdoor patio is a really beautiful space to dine outside. I don't think you can wrong here. It is a lovely spot for an elevated meal experience.

We stumbled upon this charming brunch spot while traveling in Miami. The ambiance exudes tropical vibes, and the food was delicious! The staff member who assisted us was incredibly sweet. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and I'd rate my chicken parmigiana an 8/10. My friend ordered the ceviche tacos and rated it a 7/10. Although my friends and I each ordered our own entrees, we should have ordered family style since we didn't finish our meals. I also had an iced café con leche with oat milk (not pictured) We arrived around noon, and while our food took a while to come out, it was well worth the wait once we tasted it.

The French toast is amazing. I'm guessing the bananas were not in season because they were cold and hard and lacked any type is sweetness. The beet, apple, and lime juice was amazing as well. The start off is for the service. We were great until the check, took 20 minutes, I had to ask another server to find mine so I could pay.

I've been going to Oliver's for a couple years now. It's always a pleasant visit. What draws me to this place is it's plethora of choices on the menu. You can order grilled and fried calamari, which you don't see often. The service is pretty consistent even though its always busy when I go. I've ordered the lobster ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs (good for two servings), the beef bourguignon and their mushroom risotto; all so packed with flavor! I'm usually in and out, right after a shift. It's a great place to grab a quick meal. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice ambiance; could be with friends, partner or family.

Overall, The Social Club is worth visiting for the atmosphere, drinks, and people-watching, but I expected more from the food. I'd consider going back for the vibe, though I'd probably try something different from the menu next time.

Not saying I'm unhappy at all with my career, but most people who know me also know from early on I aspired to become a renowned chef. Limitations at the time didn't make that possible, but the culinary arts remain a core part of who I am. Entered how impressed we were last year with the Miami Spice menu that on the spot I selected Stubborn Seed as the venue for my milestone birthday. Enter a process, meal, and aftermath made to the horror model of movies like Sinners. Let me start with the reservation. I booked in October 2025 to ensure we would have the place booked for my birthday. At the time we had a placeholder menu which we would adjust closer to the date. I was told then the 6 course menu would not be available. Closer to the date I saw on the website the 6 course menu was indeed available. In reaching out to the team member who took my reservation and contract, she told me the 6 course menu was not available on Fridays. From what you can see in the pictures, it was available. Then we wonder why Miami gets the reputation it does... ...finally we settled on the 6 course meny after all. My party showed up and we had a great time. Most courses were really solid. Notable was the first course, the cured Ginger & Citrus Cured Japanese Yellowtail. Everything kept moving in a definite crescendo until the let down of the main course. The Koji Marinated Lamb Loin was better billed as the "mini loin" as it was indeed incredibly small. I considered summoning Avenger level superpowers to reduce my people in size to the Wasp to make this work somehow. Unfortunately I don't possess such superpowers. If only. But that was not all. Wait for it... ...There was not one single acknowledgment by anyone in the restaurant staff about my milestone birthday. Not a thank you for selecting us. Not a mention by the manager or anyone on the staff. Not even a gesture during dessert. Even the most elegant of restaurants do something. Even a plated decoration acknowledging the occasion would have sufficed. I wasn't asking for Longhorn Steakhouse staff type of fanfare but something would have been adequate. Nothing. But wait, there's more... ...when settling the check I mentioned I had prepaid for the 10 tasting menus ahead of time leaving on premises consumption for payment on site. At the restaurante they looked into it and came back with that the prepayment was never charged. Given I was with my guests that was neither the time nor the place, so I settled the bill with the intent on checking this later. I did and they had indeed double charged me $2,000. Needless to say I had to bring this up to them including opening a dispute with my credit card after days went by without a follow up on where my refund stood. No offense ladies and gentlemen, but this mistake should have never taken place in the first place... All in all, not even they have the power to ruin what was one of the most memorable evenings of my life. Why? because I was surrounded by some of the most amazing human beings who took time to share this birthday with me. I love them and am grateful to have them in my life. That was the main event. The hopes was having a similar amazing experience with the meal at Stubborn Seed would be the icing on the case. It was not. Fortunately for me they didn't add anything, but more importantly, they didn't take anything away. That said, since Michelin doesn't judge a restaurant for portion size or service, I thought I myself would take something away - the veil on a restaurant that is evidently self indulgent and does not and will not care about you. You are not the star, and you never will be. Recommendations: Read "Unreasonable Hospitality" by Will Guidara - you may learn a bit just from the title itself, more if you crack the book open. Attending a Hospitality program somewhere (doesn't have to be Cornell at this point!)

Happy hour clocks in at $12 for food, $12 for all house cocktails, $10 spritzes, and a flat $6 for all beer, which in Miami Beach feels almost suspicious in the best way possible. I kept it simple with an ice cold Peroni while my wife went for the Giardino 75, a gorgeous little spritz built on Empress Indigo Gin, St. Germain, mint, lime, and prosecco. She loved it. The color alone was worth the ten bucks, but it actually drank as good as it looked. For food we shared the Bolognese Grilled Cheese and let me tell you, this thing punches well above its $12 price tag. Thick cut brioche toast, griddled until the edges go deep golden brown, stacked over a rich slow simmered bolognese with cheese pulling through every bite. Dusted with parmesan and fresh herbs, plated with cherry tomato skewers that added a nice little pop of acidity. Comfort food dressed up for a night out. Service was attentive and easy, drinks came quick, plates came hot, and nobody made us feel rushed even sitting through happy hour. The room itself has that playful Sicilian energy with the Moor head planters and bright touches throughout, which fits the vibe of the menu perfectly. Would I make a special trip back to Miami Beach for it? Probably not from Fort Myers, but if you're already in the area during happy hour, this is one of the better values you'll find on the beach. Solid four stars. Good drinks, good food, great specials, and service that actually showed up.
