Absolutely horrendous service! We waited 20 minutes just to get menus and water, another 20 minutes to place an order (only to THEN first be told that two of the three dishes we wanted weren't available, then another half hour before we finally went to ask when our food would be coming (answer: "two minutes"), then ANOTHER fifteen minutes before we finally were served COLD and GRISTLY food. It is not a destination, meaning unless you live in the building, outside of convenience there's no reason to dine here. We sat next to some new friends who knew the lay of the land at Arlen and were able to grab lunch for a picnic on the beach. We got the Cuban which was absolutely delicious and a couple of sides. What a pleasant surprise! I live across the street from the Arlen Beach Restaurant and haven't been there since the new owners took over about five months ago. I had no idea what I was missing. A caring owner, great FRESHLY PREPARED food and prices that will not rock you like so many places on the Beach. I have found a new dining option and will work my way down the menu over time. Today I had an orange salad with blackened chicken and it was delicious. I walked over, but if you drive they have valet parking. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

We got chocolate & pistachio creme topping and for some reason both toppings immediately froze in the yogurt. So it felt like eating a dipped cone but much much worse and overpriced. Totally not worth the wait or jumping through the crowd. Recommend Pharos down to street for much better tasting frozen yogurt with much less frenzied ordering/long wait time and actually great flavor. And their chocolate syrup/pistachio spread stays liquid!

What a wonderful new restaurant! My wife and I had dinner, lunch and breakfast over the course of two days. Each meal was wonderful. For dinner we had delicious grilled mahi, and delicious grilled salmon. so fresh it tasted as if it came rught out of the ocean. for lunch I had a fantastic Cuban sandwich which was done to perfection and could have fed both of us and my wife had the best lechon asado sand which she ever had. Flavorful, tender and cooked perfectly on delicious Cuban roll/bread. And finally today we had a great breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon, and ham and eggs with hash browns both accompanied by toast and coffee. The service is phenomenal and the prices are very reasonable. I wish the new proprietors all the luck in the world and can't wait to return on my next visit to Miami Beach!! read more
