Once I ordered, the food arrived in about 20 minutes, which felt reasonable. My eggs could've been hotter, but they were still good enough to eat as they were. The French toast tasted good, but the cinnamon butter on top had completely melted onto one piece, leaving a big pool of butter instead of the nice spread I was expecting. Ambiance was on point! I've driven by the location many times and always wondered what was inside. This time a friend in our group suggested we go here for brunch. Excellent choice! It's a two story business with a cute little outdoor patio. Bottom floor looks like an old time diner when you first walk in. Once your eyes get accustomed to the immediate surroundings- you look to the back and realize- DANG!- this place is long! It also looks like a different restaurant in the back! There's a bar on the first floor, the decor is kitschy and cute...then you go upstairs! It's like a vintage house- full of wood, plants ands wallpaper! Go and see for yourself! I'd want to move in! Food- I got the stuffed French toast. Two pieces of toast (portion size was a bit small) full of raspberry and crème- if there was any more inside it would have been too much! Nice flavor. I enjoy Morgan's restaurant quite a bit. I've had several things there from the macaroni and cheese with an egg on top, to the chicken, Caesar salad and a kale salad with quinoa. They have each been delicious but I find this place a bit pricey. A Caesar salad will run you about $18 but if you want it with chicken, they add another nine dollars making a lunch Caesar salad plate a $27 lunch. They also charge about five dollars a soft drink so overall, the food is yummy, but the price is steep. read more

Super cute spot with cozy library vibes! We came on a Sunday for brunch with a group of 9 and had a great time. There's plenty of comfy seating--even for large groups--and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The menu has lots of delicious and creative options. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and sample (totally forgot to take pics--oops!) but everything we tried was tasty. The only downside, and not entirely their fault, was the heat. It was about 80 degrees upstairs, which made things a little uncomfortable--but given how extreme the weather has been, it's understandable. Still, it's definitely worth a visit! Morgans is one of those places I never get tired of. The food is always delicious & brunch is my favorite time to be here, though their dinner menu is really nice too. The interior is so charming and beautiful and the vibe is always on point. They used to have live jazz on Thursdays and I wish they still did it because it was such a lovely experience to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the music. The service was good and the ambiance was nice. When I made the reservation, there were options for upstairs, downstairs, and patio. I wish I would have asked for upstairs because it was much cuter up there. The downstairs dining was fine but decor was just ok. Before we left, we went upstairs and it was much cuter. I'd been to the old Morgan's near Midtown a couple of times, and I was told this is the same one (though I'm not 100% sure). What stood out most to me here was the ambiance and the staff, it's such a cute, quaint spot with a friendly, homey vibe. There is a bit of an odd scent, but I'm guessing that comes with the character of an older establishment and honestly kind of fits the aesthetic. We ordered burgers, fries, and juices. I've been of fan of Morgan's since they were at the old location on 29th street. This building made me feel like I was in the 1930's. They have both and upstairs and a downstairs area. The place gets packed on weekends so I would recommend reservations during those days. I like the fact that they have all day breakfast. Prices are reasonable and most portions are huge. They have a varied menu that should make most people happy. Service was above average. If you are going to have cookies or the beignets for dessert, please keep in mind that they take 30 minutes so order with enough time. Lots of parking around the building. They stay open till 10pm. I visited on January 18th and as usual service was amazing and so was the food. I decided to try the fried chicken and biscuits with gravy. The chicken was fried just right. The entree also came with eggs and I asked for them to be fried hard and they were made just how I like them. I enjoyed this meal so much. My friend had waffles with bananas, an omelette and toast. First time to Morgan's since they moved to their new location. We had a fantastic experience and can't wait to go back. I was stuck by the stylish decor the moment we stepped inside - it reminds me of 'Old Florida,' circa 1940s with bamboo banquettes, vintage art, midcentury mod furniture, and just the right amount of bark cloth and leopard print fabric without looking tacky or gimicky throughout the multiple dining spaces that each feel special. There's a real authenticity to the atmosphere that's complimented by friendly and professional staff (which is almost unheard of in this town filled lousy service!). We had the Breakfast Burrito and Frittata for brunch along with coffee and fresh lemonade which were delicious. I absolutely hate the Miami restaurant "scene" with their ridiculous velvet ropes, f*#king DJs blasting music that you have to scream over while surrounded by posers. Morgans was laid back, comfortable, stylish and sophisticated without having to resort to pretentious nonsense. Morgans is TOP on my list and I look forward to going often! read more

I recently went to an event here. It was a la carte. I order the meatloaf . It's was very flavorful juicy and the mash potatoes creamy and the sautéed spinach was excellent. The best part of the meal was the warm cookies at the end !! Chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin.. gota say the oatmeal was my favorite. I also took banana pudding home. A lot of modern art thrown up against vintage 70's decor. Very colorful but it a calm way. Has a bar areas as well as outdoor seating. Parking is most stressful thing about this location. I loved the menu. I loved the selection of sweet vs savory and even the vegan options looked nice. I was very impressed with the vegan/vegetarian options. They don't skimp on portion size. The building is indeed aged and needs a good makeover somehow because you really feel it's a time warp from 60 years ago I ordered the "English" breakfast (bacon, roasted mushroom, beans, pork sausage, toast and two eggs - I chose scrambled). Everything seemed well done - which I do prefer with eggs and breakfast meats. Sometimes that kills the flavor though. Overall I thought it was good eats and hits the spot if you're famished. The aesthetic is beautiful and gives ultimate brunch vibes. My friend and I ordered a few entrees and sides to share since we were really there to catch up more than to eat. We shared the stuffed French toast, which was delicious along with a veggie omelette, which was humongous and came with a side of potatoes and toast. Morgans has a sultry atmosphere in the back area. It gives speakeasy/ retro diner vibes overall with a personal smooth touch. You have to see it to fully understand. Just feels nice. The food was and beverages were fresh to order and delicious. I went with a large group and buy large I mean a party of over 10 to 15. On this Friday night we had one server trying to accommodate all of us. He did his best and I didn't hear any complaints from my many companions. Back to the food. The portion sizes for the meals are just perfect. Not too much that you'd get stuffed yet not on the lighter side. Most of the ladies ordered sangria, champagne or wine. All of those options were in light and refreshing flavors. I ordered the salsa verde gnocchi with a side of sautéed spinach. They both were prepared well, not overly saturated with oil or sauce. Someone next to me ordered a fish and two others at my table ordered burgers with a side salad. Those portions were all decent. I couldn't see what the other 10 women ordered but like I said, I heard no complaints. Parking is a bit of a hassle depending on the timing. There was a parking lot free of charge in the back and street parking which is done by the pay by phone app. Of course the back parking is usually full, but you may get lucky and find a spot. Besides the lot, as I mentioned earlier, there's plenty of street parking and it's adjacent to the restaurant. You may have to walk a bit if they or the nearby establishments are busy. Bonus, kids 11 and under eat free, they do offer brunch and every day is happy hour. However, happy hour is not for large groups so we were not able to utilize that offer. *Note don't get lost. Their restaurant moved and I ended up going to the wrong location before I found the new one. It is not too far away from the original restaurant just an inconvenience. I'm torn between a 3 or 4 star. It's honestly right in the middle. But there's some things that bother me, especially about restaurants in Wynwood / Miami in general. 1. Overpriced. Not even a little. VERY overpriced. I get that they're "organic" which literally means nothing in 2023, but okay. Not to mention, the menu is literally the same as every single other brunch spot. But 20+ for a chicken and waffles? 18+ for an omelette?!?! Why... it's literally eggs. The barest minimum for a breakfast. 2. The design of the restaurant is a maze and a mess. I should not need to have a map to find my table. (The upstairs) 3. The downstairs was DIRTY. Not like a little messy. Dirty. Napkins all over the floor, and like five employees standing right by it just having a conversation. So I'm paying a ton, for basic IHOP food in cute bowls and a dirty lobby with relatively slow service due to it being brunch time? Overall it's okay. One of my best friends recommended that I should try Morgan's restaurant next time I'm in downtown Miami. After leaving the Balloon Museum, my cousin and I decided to try Morgans. It's recommended to do a reservation online ahead of time. As soon as you wall in, you are greeted by the friendly hostess, who takes you to your table at your reserve time. This restaurant has a rustic vintage chic appeal to it. There were multiple forms of art displayed while soft music played in the background. Our waiter was very friendly and helped us navigate through the menu. We ordered the strawberry lemonade and iced chai as drinks. We then ordered the frittata with hash spuds and the egg white omelette that came with hash spuds. The portion sizes of this restaurant are huge! The food is amazing and perfectly cooked; I'm in love with their hash fuzz, which are thick pieces of potatoes fried to perfection. Needless to say I have leftovers for breakfast the next day lol.
