    Carnitas Benedict

Cute little brunch spot in South Beach. All of our food was beautifully plated. We ordered: Cinnamon bun French toast: it was so pretty we didn't want to cut into it. Unfortunately, it tasted more like a cinnamon bun dressed with syrup sans the French toast egg/milk/cinnamon dunk. A bit dry as well. Carnitas Benedict: good favor in the carnitas. Highlight of our meal. Strawberry, pistachio, oatmilk matcha latte drink: meh. It sounded great. Looked amazing. Unfortunately, light on flavor all around.

This is truly a beautiful place to have brunch if you are in the area. Most of the seating is on the outdoor patio with limited seating indoors. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because a lot of the breakfast items are à la carte so it is very pricey for just a main dish that doesn't include a side. Servers are attentive and friendly and the best part is that it is located right next-door to an outdoor plant shop so you feel like you are eating in a garden. Both places are connected.

Came May 27th around 12 pm. Staff (2 Servers in particular) is rude, nasty attitudes and nasty facial expressions while talking to them, the language barrier isn't an excuse they're just rude. Late with service, doesn't bring what was requested you have to keep on asking several times for them to still not provide what you ask as far as refills, utensils, drinks, etc. wasn't checked up on our entire breakfast and it wasn't even busy which would be understandable but it's not. The food is good but the service was too off putting, unwelcoming and un-inviting. Wouldn't eat here again , paid to be disrespected and ignored. And they also don't tell you gratuity is included so don't overtip!!!!! I shouldn't have tipped period, and I always tip. They also do not give you a printed/texted or itemized receipt at all or let you know beforehand they do not accept cash.

while I was down in Miami for a little yoga session, I decided to walk down to the Sunnyside Café. Reset outside under a tiki hut and enjoy the garden vibes. I went with friends so we all decided to choose different items to taste. My favorite was definitely the avocado toast and the Matcha with strawberry was very refreshing. The service was prompt, but they do add the service charge so make sure if you're going that you don't double tip.

Well-done! You can tell someone has procured each ingredient for the food on this menu to make it exceptional! Service is kind and who's playlist is this?!? I love it! !

Nice spot for a brunch outside but they ran out of prosecco before noon so that left us a bit disappointed. Food was fresh but lacked a tiny bit of seasoning. Not sure I was a fan of my croissant sliced down the middle - but that's subjective. I'm sure they're just getting started as this corner has always had a turnaround of restaurants. Will give them another try soon!

Sunny Side was our choice for a late breakfast on a Monday. We almost didn't go because when we arrived, there was no parking. We spun the block to another restaurant (they didn't have parking either), but ended back a Sunny Side where a space opened. When we entered we were seated immediately on the outdoor patio. It was not crowded, so we ordered and ate all within what seemed like 30 minutes. I had the avocado toast ($15) with a latte ($5). Both my toast and latte were standard, so nothing too amazing to write home about. My partner had the smoked salmon which came with roasted potatoes ($19) and a lemonade ($7). I tried the salmon and maybe it was just the piece I had but it was bland. The potatoes were really good and full of flavor, though. Key takeaways: - The food was good; I don't think it's possible to mess up avocado toast or smoked salmon. - Service was good. It's a small cozy atmosphere that was not too crowded. - The atmosphere was relaxing. The weather was beautiful, so we opted to sit outside, which had the view of a garden. - 18% gratuity is automatically included (there we 2 people in our party). I didn't like that the bathroom was "right there"! There was a table literally right by the bathroom door. Added to that, it is one room/stall. If the bathroom was occupied, you had to find somewhere to wait. Everywhere I stood obstructed someone's way - either the wait staff going in/out or the other diners who were seated near the door/ bathroom. There are appropriately 8 free parking spaces for the restaurant and one was designated for disabled parking. Parking is tight but there is paid street parking (but who wants to pay to park?).

I really like the location they have in South Beach so was excited to try the one on Biscayne and was not disappointed! The inside is small and only has a few tables but the back opens up into a nice open area with a big bar that is perfect for this time of year. We made a reservation for Sunday brunch and got seated right away even though our party was incomplete. They do have a small parking that was full but I was able to park on the street. The servers were nice and were able to provide good recommendations. We ordered omelets, egg benedicts and chilaquiles and they all came beautifully served. They are located next to a beautiful garden center that you can visit after eating.

The atmosphere and location was a nice vibe. We sat outside love the trees and plants. The servers were attentive with making sure we had everything we needed. The crab cakes were tasty a little fishy. The pancakes were very dry. The sausage had great flavor and taste. The fruits were fresh. I love the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Exploring my new neighborhood and this place is a gem! Delicious fresh brunch that scored points with even my picky teenager. Beautiful back patio and cute indoor cafe... we came for Saturday brunch and enjoyed waffles, huevos Ranchero, eggs your way... the cocktails looked amazing too! Santiago was out server and he was great!

What a cute hidden breakfast spot in the MiMo district! I'm so happy it's close to NBV. They have an outdoor patio and indoor seating area, adjacent to the garden center. The presentation of the food 10/10 especially with the beautiful orchid flower! All the food is delicious that we tried. I got the prosciutto eggs Benedict (I switched to fries from potatoes and it was so crispy), shrimp tacos, and the key lime pie pancakes, a matcha latte and miami smoothie. The service was excellent and fast, especially given how busy it was for a Sunday morning. Plenty of parking in the back and if not, there is street parking. Definitely a new breakfast spot to come to every once and a while!

He was our server and he was a real pleasure. He recommended the Pancakes which were the best I've had and I travel often. Then we ordered the side order of short ribs. Lastly, the strawberry matcha was amazing! The right balance of sweetness. This is a great place to visit especially if you're like us and needed to kill some time before the cruise allows for embarkation. Outside was clean and the rest room was also cleans.

This proved to be a mistake on our part. We should have sat outside where there was a breeze. Seems the restaurant didn't have air conditioning. After a while I noticed everyone inside was fanning themselves Now onto the food... I had the pastelito pancakes, 2 eggs and a grilled chicken breast. Everything was cooked properly and tasted good. My beautiful date had the chicken chilaquiles which was also very good. Overall the food was 4 stars but if you are looking for a place to escape the heat...well not so much.

Food Quality: We ordered burgers, which unfortunately were overcooked. My husband decided to send his back, and while the second attempt was better, it still didn't hit the mark. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich, which was decent but fell short of the excitement promised in the menu description. Hunger vs. Quality: I was too hungry to send my burger back, so I ended up with a well-done burger that lacked the juicy flavor I was hoping for. It's disappointing when you anticipate a delicious meal, only to have it miss the mark. Pricing: I also found the prices a bit steep, especially for the drinks. The juices felt overly expensive compared to the overall dining experience. In summary, while Cafe Americano has potential, my experience was just okay. The food quality and value didn't quite align with our expectations. I might consider giving it another try in the future, but I'd approach it with a bit more caution.

After we received our food, our server never came back to check on us. She spent nearly the entire time attending to another table, leaving us without any service. I eventually had to ask a different server for water, and I was given hot water instead of cold. To make matters worse, the food itself was bland and lacked flavor.
