You don't find a lot of old American style diners in Miami anymore. Jimmys Eastside Diner definitely scratches that itch and gives you a classic experience. Pancakes eggs and grits were my breakfast of choice here and it did not disappoint. Was it the best brunch you can get in Miami? Maybe not but the friendliness of the wait staff and the feel of being somewhere that doesn't care about the glamour and instagram-ableness of their food is refreshing and needed every once in a while. The food could have been a little tastier. There was nothing wrong with it, but I would have liked a little more flavor in the eggs and has browns. The pancakes were good too but they just needed that extra little something to get them to spectacular. Still a great diner and worth a stop by if you're in the area.

Love a cute diner vibe and this spot captures the old timey feel in a fun, endearing way. Food was pretty good. It wasn't bad nor was it great, but it was filling and was nice comfort food. Prices were standard, a little expensive for diner fare but that's just the way it goes these days. Worth trying out!

The ambiance is very old school diner, you get a street view or parking lot view. The service was not great. As you can see I was given water in a dirty cup and attitude on the side. The food wasn't anything I'd run and tell anyone about I'd rather go to ihop by the beach, better prices and service.

What a shame! Jimmys used to be a Miami staple and now just needs to close its doors before it continues to ruin other peoples memories like myself. We went in with high hopes and left highly disappointed. The once nostalgic atmosphere now feels drab and decaying. The idea that it's an old diner was great up until you start swatting away fruit flies as they continue to land in your coffee, you try not to slip on the leaking toilet and hope no one's watching from the holes in the walls of the bathroom. The food tastes the same but has gone up on price. There are a few old familiar faces but the main owner/boss does not seem friendly nor welcoming. Unfortunately they also had a few health violations that seem to also show the current status of the experience as well. Bye Bye Jimmys.

Not bad at all! Came here by mistake I missed my turn to the 'other' place but for some reason I guess meant to come here. Got greeted the minute you come in! Staff are friendly service great & our breakfast very good! Definitely must say 'Banana Pancakes' delicious!

Jimmy's has been a Miami staple for decades with solid breakfast at very reasonable prices. Lisa was our server today and was the best server I ever had here. She was friendly, smiley, efficient and her service was caring and over-the-top. The restaurant was very crowded and her ability to provide such excellent service considering how busy they were was admirable. If only Miaml had more servers with such a great attitude and execution. She made my day.

If you're craving a no-fuss, old-school diner breakfast, Jimmy's Eastside Diner delivers. The omelets? Big, hearty, and packed with fillings--exactly what you want when you wake up hungry. Portions here are generous across the board, so come ready to eat. The coffee is smooth and mellow, nothing too bold, but just the right kind of comforting to sip on while you wait for your food. Service is quick, the vibe is classic, and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Jimmy's is a great go-to if you're in the mood for a reliable, satisfying breakfast. Would I come back? Absolutely.

While the girls left the house early this morning to dress up and put on some makeup, Pops and I decided to grab breakfast at Jimmy's Eastside Diner! Going in, the restaurant was jumping, but there was still a good amount of seating. For breakfast, we ordered 1 set of scrambled eggs with country smoked sausage, home fries, and rye toast & 1 plate of over easy eggs, bacon, home fries, and white toast! Going into my review, no complaints here, everything was perfect! The scrambled eggs were very custardy, sausage had a nice sear, potatoes were well seasoned & crispy. The bacon was not too crispy nor chewy! Toast was toasted and nicely spread in n butter. Moreover, the service this morning was friendly and attentive. Overall, if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot with a good variety of menu options, Jimmy's Eastside Diner gotcha covered. Final verdict 5/5 - nice job!

These are must get when you visit. Thank me later. The Bao con Croqueta was great. The kimchi slaw paired great with the ham and shrimp croqueta. I also loved that it was in a bao. I'd get this again, but I really want to try the Duck. And you know I had to get the Cast Iron Pancake. It's legit, it's not just a viral menu item. It was soft on the inside and soaked up the syrup, the outside had a nice crust on it. The flaked sea salt was a nice touch. The breakfast burrito, however, was more of a 5/10 very basic and didn't stand out compared to the other dishes we tried. Food Quality: We ordered burgers, which unfortunately were overcooked. My husband decided to send his back, and while the second attempt was better, it still didn't hit the mark. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich, which was decent but fell short of the excitement promised in the menu description. Hunger vs. Quality: I was too hungry to send my burger back, so I ended up with a well-done burger that lacked the juicy flavor I was hoping for. It's disappointing when you anticipate a delicious meal, only to have it miss the mark. Pricing: I also found the prices a bit steep, especially for the drinks. The juices felt overly expensive compared to the overall dining experience. In summary, while Cafe Americano has potential, my experience was just okay. The food quality and value didn't quite align with our expectations. I might consider giving it another try in the future, but I'd approach it with a bit more caution.

And speaking just to the vibe of the restaurant, this place is like heaven on earth. The perfect brunch spot. The menu was nice and simple with a number of options that will satisfy anybody. The prices are exorbitant. This was expected so it's not a hindrance to us enjoying the meal. Our precious waitress was appropriately named Precious and she was attentive, sweet, and gave awesome recommendations of what we should order. We were immediately given water and I ordered two drinks, a bloody Mary and an iced latte. Both of these drinks were exceptional. The bloody Mary was very well spiced just the way I like it with a nicely rimmed glass and garnish of celery, olive bacon and shrimp. There are certainly vodka that I like better, but as far as flavor went, this one was unbeatable. My wife ordered an espresso martini which she also enjoyed although I've seen it pictures with coffee beans in it and hers did not have any. I feel an espresso martini loses its authenticity without the coffee beans. My way or the Chia bowl and I ordered the steak and eggs. This is not the steak and eggs that grandma served me. This is a perfectly cooked churasco steak with a couple of medium eggs done just the way I wanted them and some truffle fries and tomato. Timmy truffle fries are good but do not speak breakfast. I would've preferred another potato option. The steak was good but a little tough. The meal tasted good, but I would not say great. My wife ordered a Chia bowl which was a tiny portion, but she did enjoy it. Overall, the meal was good, but it did not nearly approach the perfection that one would expect at this price point. In addition without asking us, they poured two glasses of water and apparently have a charge for water. Whether you drink it or not. I'm not sure that there is any Goodwill in charging two dollars for water when people are enjoying $120 breakfast. I would love to give this place five stars, but I cannot based on the food itself, compared to the high expectation for a very high priced brunch. The four stars are primarily for the wonderful service and the incredibly beautiful vibe. I really like the location and I loved the ambience of the restaurant, but I don't expect that I will be back as the neighborhood is filled with beautiful restaurants to choose from.

Our server who was very helpful very nice and went above and beyond for us ending up being the manager just helping out with the heavy crowds which i can appreciate ( who doesn't love a manager who can get out the office and put in some hatd work? very refreshing) she took my entire party order with a breeze. I ordered Salmon croquettes and cheese grits man oh man this has to be the best and i mean best I've ever had. My aunt Debra makes some banging croquettes but man nothing like this i wouldn't dare tell her though . I haven't had a bad meal here to be real. Always smiling faces and helpful staff. Side note: if i had the money i would gut this joint and bring it into the new millennium. Definitely needs s upgrade cosmetically very outdated furniture very old seating photos on the wall you name it. Every time im here i spend dsy dreaming about how i would change this place.
