You don't find a lot of old American style diners in Miami anymore. Jimmys Eastside Diner definitely scratches that itch and gives you a classic experience. Pancakes eggs and grits were my breakfast of choice here and it did not disappoint. Was it the best brunch you can get in Miami? Maybe not but the friendliness of the wait staff and the feel of being somewhere that doesn't care about the glamour and instagram-ableness of their food is refreshing and needed every once in a while. The food could have been a little tastier. There was nothing wrong with it, but I would have liked a little more flavor in the eggs and has browns. The pancakes were good too but they just needed that extra little something to get them to spectacular. Still a great diner and worth a stop by if you're in the area.

Love a cute diner vibe and this spot captures the old timey feel in a fun, endearing way. Food was pretty good. It wasn't bad nor was it great, but it was filling and was nice comfort food. Prices were standard, a little expensive for diner fare but that's just the way it goes these days. Worth trying out!

The ambiance is very old school diner, you get a street view or parking lot view. The service was not great. As you can see I was given water in a dirty cup and attitude on the side. The food wasn't anything I'd run and tell anyone about I'd rather go to ihop by the beach, better prices and service.

What a shame! Jimmys used to be a Miami staple and now just needs to close its doors before it continues to ruin other peoples memories like myself. We went in with high hopes and left highly disappointed. The once nostalgic atmosphere now feels drab and decaying. The idea that it's an old diner was great up until you start swatting away fruit flies as they continue to land in your coffee, you try not to slip on the leaking toilet and hope no one's watching from the holes in the walls of the bathroom. The food tastes the same but has gone up on price. There are a few old familiar faces but the main owner/boss does not seem friendly nor welcoming. Unfortunately they also had a few health violations that seem to also show the current status of the experience as well. Bye Bye Jimmys.

Not bad at all! Came here by mistake I missed my turn to the 'other' place but for some reason I guess meant to come here. Got greeted the minute you come in! Staff are friendly service great & our breakfast very good! Definitely must say 'Banana Pancakes' delicious!

Jimmy's has been a Miami staple for decades with solid breakfast at very reasonable prices. Lisa was our server today and was the best server I ever had here. She was friendly, smiley, efficient and her service was caring and over-the-top. The restaurant was very crowded and her ability to provide such excellent service considering how busy they were was admirable. If only Miaml had more servers with such a great attitude and execution. She made my day.

If you're craving a no-fuss, old-school diner breakfast, Jimmy's Eastside Diner delivers. The omelets? Big, hearty, and packed with fillings--exactly what you want when you wake up hungry. Portions here are generous across the board, so come ready to eat. The coffee is smooth and mellow, nothing too bold, but just the right kind of comforting to sip on while you wait for your food. Service is quick, the vibe is classic, and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Jimmy's is a great go-to if you're in the mood for a reliable, satisfying breakfast. Would I come back? Absolutely.

While the girls left the house early this morning to dress up and put on some makeup, Pops and I decided to grab breakfast at Jimmy's Eastside Diner! Going in, the restaurant was jumping, but there was still a good amount of seating. For breakfast, we ordered 1 set of scrambled eggs with country smoked sausage, home fries, and rye toast & 1 plate of over easy eggs, bacon, home fries, and white toast! Going into my review, no complaints here, everything was perfect! The scrambled eggs were very custardy, sausage had a nice sear, potatoes were well seasoned & crispy. The bacon was not too crispy nor chewy! Toast was toasted and nicely spread in n butter. Moreover, the service this morning was friendly and attentive. Overall, if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot with a good variety of menu options, Jimmy's Eastside Diner gotcha covered. Final verdict 5/5 - nice job!

A special thank you to our wonderful waitress, Gigi, whose exceptional service, warm personality, and attentiveness made our experience even more enjoyable. Toward the end of our gathering, an older lady, who I believe may have been the owner, came over to greet us. Her kindness and warm welcome added such a personal touch and made us feel truly valued. Our guests loved the relaxing ambiance, delicious food and drinks, and the overall sense of calm that Coffee Break House provides. It was the ideal space to host a wellness gathering focused on mental health, mindfulness, and personal growth. The peaceful atmosphere encouraged connection, meaningful dialogue, and genuine moments of reflection. I highly recommend Coffee Break House to anyone looking for a unique and inviting place to gather with friends, host an event, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment. You walk in and immediately feel that local, unpretentious energy that's been missing from a lot of the scene. Do I love that it's on Biscayne? Not really. But the food more than makes up for it. For a bar-style environment, the food is consistently very good. Not just "good for a bar" ... like its actually good. The burger is a must (im pescatarian but my friend said it was delicious!) and their Eggs Benedict at brunch is easily one of my favorites in the area. Pair it with a Bloody Mary and you're set. their happy hour pricing is refreshingly reasonable, which is rare around here. I was talking to one of the bartenders and found out even their bread is made in-house. That kind of consistency and care, especially at these price points, is not easy to maintain and you can feel it in the food. It seems that their leadership (owner or manager, not totally sure) has always been present when I've gone and brings a great energy to the space. It trickles down to the staff and the overall vibe. We started with the Focaccia Bread which was really delicious and I was told that it was made in-house so a big thumbs up to freshly baked bread of any kind! The drinks were really good too, I enjoyed an Espresso Martini which was yummy. For my meal I tried the Pasta Pomodoro, which was perfectly al dente and again, SUPER Delicious. The exhaust/ventilation system doesn't seem sufficient for how busy the space gets, so you end up leaving with your hair and clothes smelling like food. The terrace looks lovely, but with Miami heat (easily 90°F), sitting outside isn't really a comfortable option.
