Vice City Bean is a great little coffee stop in Miami. I ordered a cortado and it was perfect. They also sell bottles of fresh juices so I tried the fresh orange juice and it tasted super fresh and refreshing. I also grabbed an empanada which was warm and really good. Service was quick and friendly which is always appreciated when you just want to grab something and go. The only downside is seating. It's a pretty small space so it fills up fast and might not always be ideal if you're planning to sit and work for a while. Overall a solid spot for quality coffee, fresh juice, and a quick bite. Service alone will keep me coming here. The staff here is amazing. This is a great coffee shop in Miami. They have a great nitro and matcha. The staff is extremely helpful in offering suggestions when it comes to sweetness or creams. They are very knowledgeable. They also offer a great variety of baked treats and a couple sandwiches. This time around I had the caprese sandwich and it was great. It comes toasted which gives the bread the perfect toasty bite to hold all the goodness inside. I also had the carrot cake and it was amazing. The shreds of carrot inside are so fresh. It is the perfect bite every time. It is a small coffee shop but they do have a good amount of indoor seating along with a bar facing the outside windows. Instagram definitely knows how to make this place look tasty with all their hand crafted coffee. I first tried them in a food court, the most water down coffee I ever had. Saw they had a location near downtown and a couple of months later, I stumbled across it. My boyfriend got a nitro cold brew and I ended up getting a Matcha the Matcha lacked color and taste. Some of Miami's best coffee. Quality beans and the baristas make a great latte. It's a warm and friendly environment inside and the people are very nice. Not a ton of seating or outlets but enough to get the job done and that you can hang out a while. Also a nice selection of pastry. Ok so I had maybe the best avocado toast I have ever had at Vice City Bean and it might be the addition of cream cheese. It is what it is. I got an egg on it that is cooked over easy (next time I might ask over medium). Also the nitro was very good- maybe more floral than I am used to? Super delicious. Looking for new coffee shops to try around the city I stumble upon this one near downtown. It's big enough where you can sit with your laptop and do work while enjoying coffee but small enough to be considered a good hole in the wall. We ordered an iced vanilla latte and a strawberry matcha. The iced latte was perfect. The matcha was okay not what was expected with the strawberry syrup. I'm only giving 4 stars because of the service. Upon entering, we weren't greeted. We stood there for 5 minutes before someone took our order. We were at the Ampersand Studio across the street for an event and need some coffee. We decided to stop by here instead of getting it from the percolator in the studio. The place is quite big and spacious, as well as brightly lit with all the French window on a corner spot. The decor feels modern with a grey and white decor, but still warm and inviting with some green plants and wooden furniture. They have some delicious pastries and granola too! I've been here before to grab some caffeine and the photos on Yelp drew me in. The place has a high ceiling feel and ample seating which makes for a great ambience while working away on a laptop. This time around, I ordered a bite to eat and a drink. I got the Turkey Pesto sandwich and an iced matcha latte. The service was quick & fast and my sandwich came out in no time. It was a bit cold in the middle but I feel like that is a bit of the norm for sandwiches that are thick. The iced matcha latte was okay. It might have been because there was no sweetener but that was probably more my bad since I didn't ask for any. They have a self serve area where you can get straws, lids, and sugar/sweetner. There are a good amount of tables, a few stools for the bar area. I don't believe there are any or many outlets so if you run out of juice, you might be SOL. I came here as a quick caffeine stop while walking to the Wynnwood walls, and boy did I get way more than I bargained for! I got the peppermint iced latte (a seasonal drink) and it was just fabulous! Seriously, the coffee was just perfectly strong but not overpowering, and the flavor and cream weren't too sweet and there were small bits of crushed peppermint at the bottom- I was in heaven drinking this. My mom got a cinnamon and honey latte, which was just as splendid as mine. Hers had real honey at the bottom, which brought such a nice, sticky and sweet contrast to the sharp coffee. I can't even decide which one I liked better, they were both just so fantastic. This is really a cute shop and somewhere that would be great to sit and do work or homework or just hang out, and you will be making your taste buds sing by grabbing a drink from here! Firstly, I have been a loyal VCB customer for a long time. Loved it so much I inquired online about a possible brand collaboration, after 2 attempts to speak to someone who read my DM I was blocked. So now I cannot enjoy their content on IG. I would regularly buy my whole beans from them as well, to which I was always given a free coffee with purchase. Given the treatment I was given online after being blocked I stopped going to VCB. Reluctantly I recently visited and thought hey let me enjoy the typical experience of ordering a double espresso, comes on the nice tray with some sparkling water. Nope I was given a little to go cup and sent on my way. I also was told they have never given free coffee with purchase of a bag of beans. Something is brewing at VCB but seems like it's poor customer service. What a shame. read more
