After lunch at Casa Tua, I walked about five minutes to Rosetta for coffee, and what a lovely little spot. The atmosphere is beautiful, the bakery is spotless and impeccably kept, the coffee was excellent, and the pastries were quite good. The service, however, was the real highlight. Everyone was incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they are happy to have you there, and that makes such a difference. One honest note: the matcha is simply not matcha. I would honestly prefer they didn't offer it rather than serve something that is presented as matcha but tastes nothing like it. If you're a true matcha lover, skip it. My family and I were looking for something sweet to eat so we yelped "bakery" and Rosetta Bakery was first on the list. Since we were just across the street we walked over to see what they had. Upon entering we noticed the glass cases full of premade sandwiches and pizzas. I tell you, there was a sandwich in the case that was bigger than my head. Everything in the cases looked fresh and delicious. Since we had just eaten lunch we only came to get desserts. The dessert section was plentiful and looked delicious. I chose a fruit tart, others chose a lemon meringue tart, a chocolate wafer dessert and a lemon eclair. Everyone said how much they liked their desserts, but I personally can say how delicious And fresh my fruit tart was. The fruits on top were all crisp, but very juicy. Yes, I totally agree with others that it's a 'pricey' experience, but the prices are clearly displayed, and everyone can make their decision to stay or visit elsewhere in the area. We were in Brickell for a long weekend visiting my wife's son. The Rosetta Bakery was so good, we went twice! Service is very fast. You order as you come in and then pay. There is plenty of comfortable seating, although many seem to get orders to go. Rosetta is perfect for breakfast or any time of the day. Both times we want around 11am. First time, I had cheese pizza, a cannoli, and a matcha latte. My wife had a croissant sandwich. The cheese pizza was a HUGE slice. The cheese itself was melted perfection with a great crust. The the cannoli was perfect also, great cream and a nice solid shell. The latte was very nice as well. My wife loved her sandwich so much that I had that on the second trip along with this pistachio pastry. My croissant sandwich had cheese and prosciutto and really was outstanding. I am obsessed with this place. I've been to the Rosetta Bakery in the Aventura Mall. This location has a totally different vibe. This location is absolutely beautiful. I didn't love all the pistachio paste inside and chose the half with less paste. Definitely was a fresh pistachio flavor and nothing artificial about it, just didn't want too much of it as it is a heavy paste. Really wanted to try so many other pastries but this was only a short stop before lunch and we didn't want to get too full. We must come back though. Obviously. I have to say the lady at the front was not very pleasant or helpful. When we had a question about any of the pastries, her answers seem to be short and curt. Unfortunate. It was delicious; shortbread coated cookie with a creamy filling. Exactly the kind of cookie you want when you're pretending calories don't exist on vacation. Service was fine. Not overly chatty, not cold either -- just quick and efficient, which honestly I appreciate when a place is busy. I ordered the Pistachio Croissant, and I'm pretty picky on this as I'm a fan of Pistachio cream. It had plenty of Pistachio filling to melt and smear your lips with, as well as, the puff from the Croissants fades in your mouth as you devour it. Pair it with a Cappuccino to dip your Croissant and eat it the Italian way. I insist, I recently visited Sicily and they are pretty close to the real deal. I also had the almond cake and you can flavor the almonds in it (pretty nutty and moist). I have also tried all of the following items in the past and they won't disappoint you: The authentic Rosetta Filled with Italian Cooked Ham and cream cheese Prosciutto di Parma and arugula Mortadella Grain Sandwich Bread topped with variants of seeds, filled with original Italian cold cuts Curcuma Bread Mozzarella arugula and tomatoes, Prosciutto di Parma and Arugula. Extra-virgin Olive Oil Olive Bread Bread with green olives. Tomatoes mozzarella or Italian Mortadella Nuts Bread Speck and cream cheese Also don't miss the Rosetta Mini Cakes, a variety of tasteful fillings, with Chocolate, Berries and cream. And finally one of my favorites, the white chocolate filling croissant. Just make sure to tell them to heat it up a little bit so the filling and the butter from the Croissant slightly melts in your tongue (watch out not to burn it as Croissants are very sensitive to overheating). My only suggestion would be to add more servers or staff because the place was packed and they were very overwhelmed. The cool thing about them is that even though they were busy they do their best in keeping everyone satisfied and on top of the orders. The ambient was pretty full so you couldn't really find a spot to seat and enjoy the place, so I had to took my order home and enjoy it from the comfort of my place. It was my first time at Rosetta Bakery and will absolutely be my last. For a Bakery that should be used to lots of people filing in and out, it was complete chaos. There was no order, no rhyme or reason, no line, it was an overwhelming and confusing experience. A lot of the desserts dont even have names on them so you just end up pointing to one and going "that one" hoping they know which one. So you keep playing this game of "no, not that one, THAT one," Back and forth. The desserts LOOK delicious, but definitely don't taste fresh. I got the "soft" chocolate cake (its literally in the name), and some type of formaggi bread. The cake was hard as a rock, didnt even eat it as it wasn't worth the calories. The bread was warmed up and was very delicious, flaky and cheesy. The service wasn't very welcoming at all, they definitely rush you. I wanted to get more items, but she took the two I had ordered (without asking me if I wanted anything else) and just went right to the register. Don't come here expecting to find a place to sit, as there may not be one. Its a tight fit, its hot and crowded. You might as well take it to go. On the brightside it is a beautiful space, clean, well lit and decorated. With the one dessert, the one bread, and a bottle of water, my total came to almost $25. The croissant was flaky and buttery. However, I still didn't feel like the items were warm. The coffee was good. There was a lot of seating inside and outside. It's an okay place.
