True baristas is a must if you're in Miami! This has to be one of the best coffees over ever had. I was sad when it finished lol. To add they have delicious empanadas and muffins as well. I tried both the chicken and beef. To my surprise the chicken had a little more flavor but bother were good. The banana chocolate chip muffin was so moist. Our Airbnb was just two blocks away from here and decided to drop in for a coffee! The menu is pretty large as for coffee drinks but what I do enjoy that it's made of course fresh to order espresso on each ring up at the register. Paid $30 for 3 empanadas and a coffee. The iced latte was OK, very standard. The empanadas were very basic. We ordered the beef and it was literally ground beef. This wasn't the issue, my problem was with the service. The two ladies working seemed to be more interested in their phones than attending their customers. Their vibe was off. Asked if they had any hot sauce for the empanadas and was looked at as if this was a ridiculous question. Actually didn't get a verbal response, just a head shake "no" and a crazy look... They have another location outside of Bank of America and Truist which is convenient for those working near there. I ordered an iced macchiato which was really nice. Service depends on how busy they are, they can take awhile. The location is great with ample seating so you can people watch while sipping your morning joe! read more

We were out and about walking the brickell area in the morning and really needed a pick me up before heading to the pool. While walking we found this adorable food truck for coffees! The location was great because it was walking distance from our hotel and the employees were so friendly. We also loved that they had a few tables set up outside the truck with fans to cool off in the Miami heat. I ordered the iced dirty chai latte and it was amazing! I'm always on the lookout for the best and this was very close to it! My family also ordered iced vanilla lattes and they said they were delicious. We noticed that they were serving muffins, pastries, and empanadas but we had just had breakfast so it was bad timing but next visit we will try the food for sure! read more

I've been a fan of Cafe Demetrio in the Gables which would naturally make me a fan of True Baristas...but in true yelp fashion one must try in order to confirm 'the goods are good!' ...and the goods are good! Walked right into it on a leisurely walk with the pup and it was the perfect little spot to cool down and get refreshed. The heat has been intense so I ordered an iced coffee (peppermint white mocha) and it hit the spot although my usual go-to's are chai drinks and my usual Demetrio order is a Cafe Leo.
