Come with me to Finca's Coffee located in Upper Buena Vista. This coffee spot has a chill, laid-back vibe and offers some great brews. I had an Iced Lavender latte that was delicious. A well-balanced blend, not too overpowering on the lavender. Finca's Coffee is going on my list of top coffee spots in Miami.

I loved the cute bohemian theme in here and their set up! I had a lot of questions and the barista was very kind and helpful! I wanted something cold so I settled with the raspberry cold brew. Delicious fruity flavor and a great coffee! Great, quality coffee. I sat outside and read with my coffee in the courtyard and it was a great morning.

If you're looking for quality coffee in Miami, Finca is the place to visit. The beans and artistry behind the drinks is magical. Finca's is also nestled in this outdoor shared park with greenery. I felt like I was in Costa Rica. I would highly recommend Finca's for avid coffee enthusiasts. The service was excellent too. They have a good selection of pastries as well. Café Bombon - two espresso shots over condensed milk 5/5 Iced Vanilla latte w/ 2% milk - the perfect amount of milk and homogenize drink 5/5

Don't go here if you like the taste of espresso, you will be served a glass of milk. Here's a photo example of a latte with an extra espresso shot that was an additions $3.50. It's one thing to have an expensive coffee shop that ACTUALLY tastes great, but it's a whole other thing to have one that's not only expensive, but a rip off. Upper Buena Vista is such a great location... please put a GOOD coffee shop with respect for the coffee lovers!!! Thanks.

I am officially a fan of Finca's coffee. They have lots of options for coffee aficionados. Whether you want something true and pure, or one of their more adventurous wellness drinks. I tried the cinammon spice latte, which had an amazing flavor with strong notes of ginger. Your drink is made fresh to order and served quickly. Then you get to enjoy in the beautiful shaded setting of Upper Buena Vista. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Service was beyond amazing , super friendly welcoming . Craftsmanship and they care you could tell in every step watching him make our order was truly a treat . Anytime we visit Miami this is our designated coffee shop . Please stop by and try it anytime you're in the area

Loved this coffee shop. Very unique setting in a little community in the trees randomly off side of street. Ambiance alone for this community (several stores, restaurants, bars-including Michelin star Turkish restaurant) is worth the trip. The service was stellar. Being first time in shop, the barista gave me samples and smells of beans. The cold brew super smooth and on chocolate forward side. They also do espresso flights featuring their roasts in espresso form to sample vs one another. They do a great job of educating, however, that some of the roasts will taste better as espresso while others better in pour over or cold brew. Limited inside seating but abundance of outdoor seating in shade.

All I got was an espresso, and I'm so glad I did. The store is cute and cozy. The espresso was brewed nicely, I just wish there was more cream. The beans were great - smooth, acidic, and not too bitter. A good overall brew.

Finca's became my favorite coffee place in Miami. The thing is that not only the coffee is insanely delicious, but the atmosphere is enchanting and the service is perfect. Upper Buena Vista is an island of paradise that transports you somewhere in the beachside village with meditative music under the huge tree shadow.  The service is wonderful and so friendly! I forgot to ask for my coffee in a ceramic cup, but they still remade it for me. The coffee itself is 10/10; the beans, roast, foam--perfect. Pastries are 6/10--solid good--and can satisfy your sweet tooth needs, but since it's not the bakery, the freshness is lacking. Parking in Buena Vista can be tricky, but you won't regret coming to Finca's. And there are many cool food places around, so you can combine brunch and a coffee stop to have the ultimate weekend morning.

Beautiful setting for a cup of coffee and a fresh croissant! A small shop that concentrates on their specialty - coffee! Have been there a couple of times, and will continue to do so!

Nice but out of my budget for a standard cafe. Their pastries looked amazing but the drinks were definitely pushing it. I guess the ambience outside is to blame for the high pricing.

Coffee is just DELICIOUS. The quality of the bean is really good and the Seating area is nice and very pleasant!

An absolute bad ass in coffee, Finca's Coffee is serving it strong, and that's the only way coffee should be done. I ordered a simple latte with vanilla and I could feel the happiness run down to my core with each sip. The barista was kind and patient, and even though I was the first customer of the day, it felt like they were a well-oiled machine. Not an ounce of morning stress. Highly recommend ordering and staying outside to enjoy. Special bonus for those who are early risers, as you get to also enjoy the silence and beauty of the area.

They were so approachable, knowledgeable, and fun, that I wanted to support them, so I purchased some coffee. This was on a Thursday morning. The coffee was delivered across the country to my doorstep in Arizona on Saturday - I was super impressed! We made a pot of the Miami Restaurant Employee Relief Fund Blend this morning and it was fabulous. I typically put some steamed almond milk into my coffee but I drank it black (and several cups). It wasn't just me who enjoyed it either. It also passed the test of my judgemental, 43 year old Jewish husband's palate. He always takes his coffee black and this was no exception. I will definitely visit the Per'La coffee shop whenever I make my way back to Miami, but in the meantime, I'm sending love from Phoenix during these crazy times. I know where to look if I ever have questions related to coffee as well! Thanks Team Per'La!

Two cups in the morning, and I was still watching episodes of The Office until 4am... so you know the stuff is good, and probably the most productive I've been in a long time. Since I don't live in Miami, I ordered some of their beans and had them shipped. I got the Lucha Blend in whole bean form and some of the Cold Brew Blend ground up for my summer enjoyment during the heatwaves. I liked them both for different reasons, but the the Lucha Blend was my favorite. It was a dark roast but didn't punch you in the face. It was super smooth and you could get the smoky notes of chocolate with every sip. Don't get me wrong, the cold brew stuff was good too, and again, a small glass will keep you buzzing for hours. I've heard so many great things about Per'La from friends, so I was super happy I was able to support this coffee shop from across the country during COVID-19. Not only was the ordering process super easy via their website, they offer free shipping, and even included a super cute hand-written note showing appreciation too. Huge plus. I ordered on a Thursday and I was drinking their delicious blends by the start of the work-week. I don't know if they're always this fast, but... it was fast. Until I can come in and support them in-person during a future trip to Miami, I know I'll be ordering more of their beans to hold me over until that happens!

Before I ever tasted a single bean, the name stopped me cold. Calusa. A roaster bearing the name of…read morean Indigenous people -- the Calusa, the ancient shell-mound builders, the unconquered lords of South Florida's mangroves and waterways. People who never surrendered. People whose bones are folded into this very soil. As someone who walks through this world carrying Taíno blood and the memory of peoples whose names colonizers tried to erase, that word hit different. It wasn't a gimmick. It wasn't a logo. It was a declaration -- that this land has a story older than any espresso machine, and somebody here understood that. That understanding alone earned my curiosity and my respect before I'd even stepped through the door. "The name carried the weight of a people who never bent. That's the kind of legacy worth building a roastery around." Then I learned the story behind the man behind the roaster -- and it only deepened my respect. Luis Arteaga came home from serving in the United States Marine Corps and did what so many veterans do: he looked for work. No fanfare. No red carpet. Just a man with discipline in his bones and calluses on his hands, trying to find his next mission in a civilian world that doesn't always know what to do with people like that. He found his way to the original owners of Calusa Coffee Roasters. They saw in him what the Corps had always seen -- dependability, grit, and a willingness to learn. They gave him a job. A floor to stand on. And Luis did what Marines do -- he didn't just fill a position, he grew into something greater. Over time, through sweat and dedication and an unmistakable passion for the craft, he rose to become the owner of the very roastery that once took a chance on him. That's not a business story. That's an American story. A veteran's story. And it's exactly the kind of origin that makes a cup of coffee taste like something more than coffee. CALUSA COFFEE ROASTERS IS A SOUTH FLORIDA INSTITUTION Fast forward to today, and Calusa Coffee Roasters isn't just surviving -- it is a staple. Walk into the right cigar bar on a Friday evening and someone at the table will mention the name. Sit down at the right diner counter on a Tuesday morning and a regular will nod toward that familiar bag. In South Florida's rich, layered, cafecito-and-culture coffee landscape, that kind of word-of-mouth is earned over years of consistency, of showing up, of never letting the cup get small. Luis continues to build something that belongs to this community -- rooted in the terroir of a region as complex and layered as its people. The coffee is exceptional. Bold where it should be bold, nuanced where it earns it. The kind of roast that makes you sit down instead of rushing out. That's no accident. That's someone who respects the craft because he was forged in institutions that demand nothing less than your best. "When a Marine finds his mission in a roastery, every bag he puts his name on carries the same standard -- do it right or don't do it at all." Meeting Luis was one of those moments I didn't expect to move me the way it did. We are both moving through the coffee world trying to build something that means something -- something rooted in identity, in service, in the belief that what's in the cup should tell a story worth hearing. And here was a fellow Marine who had walked a road I recognize: uncertain ground, earned footing, and a refusal to quit. And finally, if you are in South Florida and you have not made the pilgrimage to Calusa Coffee Roasters on Commercial Blvd, you are overdue. Go for the coffee -- stay for the story. And if you're lucky enough to meet the man himself, shake his hand. He earned it in more ways than one. To Luis Arteaga and everyone at Calusa: thank you for carrying a name that honors this land. Thank you for honoring the service that shaped you. And thank you for a cup of coffee that carries the weight of all of it without spilling a drop. Semper Fi, brother. Keep roasting.
