Been awhile since I've been here. Had a boston cream that was good and a guava and cheese or should I say guavaless and cheese. Still tasted good but quality is not there.
We came here for a book club on a Saturday afternoon. I loved the decor and the happy vibe. It was pretty crowded, a lot of people hanging out and snacking, but it was spacious. There was a back room for meetings where we were. I ordered a cold brew with cold foam and 6 of the oreo donut holes. I was so excited for the donut holes, but they were pretty dry, im not sure if they were stale. The cold brew was okay, it was just pretty acidic. The person taking my order was very nice. It was a pretty long wait for the coffee.

The brioche is incredibly fluffy, and that thick-cut, salty candied bacon on top creates the perfect sweet-and-savory profile. * Guava & Cheese: A total Miami classic. The whipped cream cheese and guava swirl are so nostalgic but elevated. * Boston Cream: Hands down one of the best I've had. The chocolate ganache is rich, and the filling isn't overly sweet--it's just right. * White Chocolate Tres Leches: If you want something decadent, this is it. It's soaked to perfection and topped with that toasted meringue that looks as good as it tastes. The Vibe:
Got the yuzu and matcha donut. It was a bit of a miss. I couldn't taste the matcha or the zestiness of the yuzu. Next time I will try something else

I ordered the Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip & Sea Salt donut which was a cake-based donut dipped in cocoa glaze, topped with house-made cookie chunks, mascarpone whipped cream, and Maldon sea salt. I normally don't order gluten-free sweets, but I thought it tasted great; could barely tell it was gluten free! The Wynwood location is also very big, so ample area for seating. Service was great. I would definitely recommend for some fun flavors!
The donut selection is solid but some are much better then others. The tres leches donut is a standout to me. Service can be a little slow, even when there are not many people there. Aside from donuts, they also have decent coffees and matchas. Inside is clean and nice to sit and eat, but I don't love that the only silverware available is plastic.

They have an onsite bakery where you can literally see them being a made from scratch every morning! I usually get the traditional glazed and the avocado toast of I'm trying to be healthy. The decor of the restaurant is super chic and very clean! It's definitely has the vibe of "come in and hang out with us for a while" I definitely plan on making The Salty a staple!

As a donut connoisseur, trying these donuts was a must. They did not disappoint. I was very satisfied with the options available. I definitely wanted three donuts but due to the renovation of my back, I settled on one. I tried the tres leches donut that knocked my socks off. It wasn't too sweet or dense. The donut itself was just the right texture. I can honestly say, this was the gold medal of donuts. I had to show major restraint to not order another one. 10/10 for sure

If I could give The Salty Donut SIX stars, I would. This place is a sugar-fueled dream that actually lives up to the hype. I found out about this place after swapping recommendations with the woman I was sitting next to on the plane en route to MIA and came in with high expectations... and left with a big smile! My favorite donuts were the Strawberry Shortcake which was light, airy, and packed with the tart strawberry flavoring without being overly sweet. The White Chocolate Tres Leches was another standout since it was perfectly moist with just the right balance of white chocolate and milky decadence. They also serve a variety of coffee (+ non-caffeinated drinks like juices) that you shouldn't sleep on. I had a cold brew and it was smooth, strong, and the perfect pairing to the sweet treats that I had. The vibe is chill, the staff is friendly, and the donuts are next-level. There are several locations throughout Miami but this particular location in Wynwood definitely reflects the neighborhood's energy.

We loved The Salty Donut! Listed as #1 in Miami, it lives up to it's ratings. They have many different types of unique donuts (and even food). We came just for the donuts, though their food also looked good. There was no wait when we came. They helped us right away and we got to munching. Really takes some serious self control not to finish your donut. I tried the Butterscotch Crunch (I love Butterscotch) and it was amazing! From the flavor's uniquenss to the awesome texture, it was a hit for me! Fiance tried the Pumpkin Roll which he also loved. Though, we liked my Butterscotch donut more. I would definitely recommend if you're checking out Wynwood.

The White Chocolate Tres Leches from Salty Donut is made with 24-hour brioche soaked in a three-milk mixture, with a Valrhona white chocolate-crusted bottom and torched meringue on top. When in the area I love to stop and grab a special treat. I am not from the area, and its been awhile since I visited Miami so I noticed that there has been some remodelling and slight move of the establishment. Literally moved next door. The vibe of the store was not as it was before. The employees didnt seem friendly nor do I recall being greeted coming into the store. I enjoyed the donuts but so the service. Not warming. It's been a couple years since my last visit to The Salty Donut and it was just as delectable as before. Since then, they've moved into a slightly larger space, just steps away from the old location. There's ample seating, both inside and out. After looking over the display case, I decided on a Maple Bacon Doughnut. Within minutes, I was drooling over this perfectly balanced sweet and savory treat. Absolutely no complaints! Service was fast and friendly. My friend said the Salty Donut was good while we were walking by so we decided to pop in. They offer a variety of fresh sweet and savory options. I got the tres leches white chocolate donut because the bruleed topping looked good. It was tasty, not too sweet, though a bit denser than expected. Randomly found this place on maps while driving, first time in Miami. This place is LEGIT. Went in to order, this place is super cute - adore the industrial farmhouse vibe and the pops of color graphic art on the walls. Their donuts are displayed at the counter to pick and choose as you speak with your server. They also have them in glass displays and made fresh. I ordered a cold brew, Samoa and peach donuts. My boyfriend ordered Samoa and Tres Leches donuts with an espresso. My dad ordered an espresso and the special donut of the day which was a Maple French Toast. Super thick fluffy donuts and full of flavor. Probably the best donuts I've had in my life. I asked if they are able to ship donuts to Buffalo - unfortunately it's too far but I'm hopeful one day there will be a location nearby there. read more

I had the most incredible service from Yosi who gave me the best recommendations! She was just the sweetest soul and had the best energy. I originally only came in for the Brown Butter & Sea Salt Donut but she saw me checking out the Pistachio Cannoli Donut and completely convinced me to get it. I also ordered a Salted Caramel Latte too since she mentioned it's amazing. She wasn't wrong with any of her recs as they were all so tasty! The Salty Donut is always a must whenever I'm in Miami, it's so good that I brought some back home on my flight. My all time favorite is the horchata donut which is a 24 hour soaked brioche & a white chocolate base- it is easily one of the best donuts I've had. Other fan favorites for me include the mini key lime pie donut (it's Florida, I'm sold on anything key lime pie related) & the guava one. Truth be told, you can't go wrong with any of them. The donuts here are unique and flavors tend to rotate periodically. I had a hard time choosing which one to order and decided on the strawberry tres leches. I love strawberries and I enjoy a good tres leches cake. Unfortunately, I did not really enjoy the donut. The strawberries tasted fine but the whip cream on top was overbearing. The donut itself tasted like a regular donut with strawberries and whip cream on top, nothing special. The staff was extremely nice and kind, have only great things to say about them. The vibes are totally there for this place. Also the brown butter salt donut was awesome! However, the coffee was not okay-like at all. I asked for a cold brew with a splash of oat milk and got what looked and tasted like syrup and a ton of milk. There was not coffee in that cup, it was awful and I had to throw it out. I won't be back because I hate to have to complain about food being bad but I don't want to pay for bad coffee and worse not actually have a drinkable coffee in the morning! Here's what I indulged in this visit: Candied Pistachio & White Chocolate Whipped Nutella Crunch Chocolate Whoopie Pie Gingerbread French Toast The texture of these donuts are off the chain--soft and fluffy, yet firm enough to hold all that deliciousness inside. Revisited The Salty Donut since I was in the area and this time around happy to say I had a much better experience. They had a full selection of donuts and were having their initial Cafecito Club event. Which in speaking with staff it was a new monthly thing they are trying out with new coffees and new donuts and creating a local club for lovers of coffee. Which goes great with lovers of donuts!! They had music jamming and quite a few folks gathered. Even good amount of hats and swag promoting the Cafecito Club. As for the donuts they were nice and fresh. A really cool gourmet donut shop in the heart of Wynwood. They had a crazy display on the front counter of all the giant donuts they offer. We ordered some coffee with oat milk $4.75 and a huge Cookie Monster donut $4.75. Due to the size of this thing we split it three ways - im sure it was insane calories anyways. Do any the donut recipe include any type of animal fat?
Some do....you have to ask what vegan options they have for the day..
Is parking difficult on the mid week afternoon? Where else can we park if street parking are not available? Not familiar with Miami area so a bit concerned about parking?
There is street parking right in front of the shop and we had no issues finding a space on a Friday morning. Just make sure you download the parking app so you can add more time if needed.
How long do the donuts last? Can they be frozen for later consumption?
I once froze their mango cronuts for about 2 weeks and they held nicely. Obviously they are not as good but it works

How long are the lines at 7:30 am on a weekday?
lines are pretty long but mostly on the weekend during a weekday before it opens you would definitely be I would say 3rd in line lol
