While in the area for a beach soccer training, the wife and I decided to stop in to Flour & Weirdoughs. I had been hearing about them and wanted to check them out. It's a small bakery which honestly we passed because the signage is small. Parking is not plentiful in the front but they have additional parking a little further down the street. We grabbed some of the items recommended to us by the staff which included their famous cinnamon roll, a glazed donut, eggs deep and a stuffed donut with arroz con leche and mango. The cinnamon roll was good. I would have preferred it with more glaze and maybe warmed up. The glazed donut was on the dense side. My favorite by far was the eggs deep which was a savory eggs, cheese and bacon inside a croissant. It was delicious. I honestly didn't want to share. The arroz con leche and mango chunks donut was also really good. It was moist and creamy. They also had Good Apple juice which I had been dying to find and it didn't disappoint. Service was great. Staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I was overall happy with the experience and would come again when in the area. read more

Amazing breakfast spot on Key Biscayne! A perfect place to stop by after golf or tennis. They have convenient parking right at the plaza, which makes it very easy. I had the Turkish eggs, and they were delicious. The sourdough bread was excellent, and the pastries looked absolutely beautiful and tempting. The coffee was great as well -- I really liked the milk-to-coffee ratio in my cappuccino. I asked them to make it at the right temperature, and they did it perfectly. The only thing I think they could improve is the foam texture -- that's probably the one area to work on. The service was amazing -- everyone was very welcoming, warm, and attentive. Came to check out this place after hearing all the hype. There is limited seating so beware of what time you go. We placed an order for three people and the total was almost $100, which to me is insane for a breakfast meal. We also ordered a side of eggs that I guess was never added to our ticket. Their customer service is great tho because they offered to make us the eggs, which I declined. Not sure I'd go back again but everyone was friendly and the food I had was okay. read more

The owners of the businesses in the shopping mall next to Flour and Wierdough's are going to love me. They are complaining that the Key Biscayne people who go to Flour and Weirdough's are taking all their parking places. Flour and Weirdough's has had to take out most of their tables to cut down on the weekend morning traffic. I say that Flour and Wierdough's is not that good. I would not eat there unless I lived close enough so that I would have an easy walk. If I have to get in my car to drive, I would rather drive to the better places in Key Biscayne. La Boulangerie Boul'Mich, Artisans and Nahuen are all attractive options. * * * Flour and Weirdough's combines two aspects. One is a cooked breakfast establishment offering relatively exotic hot egg dishes. Think of this as eggs around the world. I ordered a Turkish eggs, which was a layer of Turkish yogurt, two sunny side up eggs, four small slices of very good toast, and flavorings. Take away the toast and you are looking at meh. Given how good the carbs were and how flat the protein ingredients were, if I were to come back, I would be looking more seriously at something like pancakes. They do have a lot of pancake options. The second aspect is an orthodox bakery. The cinnamon roll is supposedly famous. I have had amazing cinnamon rolls in my home town of Austin. (The gimmick was darker flour and less sugar for a baritone savory experience. The cinnamon added complexity.) At Flour and Weirdough's you get the orthodox white bread, with a ton of white sugar. Less sticky than Cinnabon Lighter than Cinnabon. But the same concept. White bread and sugar don't get me all that excited. I am sure there was cinnamon in there - but I had to go looking for it. * * * Coffee was absolutely mediocre. Hey guys, you doing breakfast and a cup of joe? You gotta have a decent cup of joe. * * * I suspect if I had ordered from elsewhere in the bakery case, I could have done better. Some of the cookies looked pretty interesting. With enough trial and error, I could find dishes that were good enough so that I would be willing to jam up the neighbor's parking lot. * * * But why struggle to find an excuse to enter the civil war between Flour and Weirdough and its neighbors When I can go to competing brunch joints and get a million good dishes? The blueberry pancakes are legendary. They are made out of cornmeal and simply delicious, not too sweet just perfection. The salmon toast paired with the goat cheese and beets was also very good. The best home fries I have ever eaten. I went at noon and their baked goods were sold out. I will definitely be back. read more

Available for takeout or sit down, if you decide to sit in they will come to you over to take your order or you can order at the bar. The lattes were tasty, definitely on the non sweet side despite the caramel so if you prefer extra sweet get extra caramel. I got the Jessa sandwich, which was incredible in flavor and a good size. The crunchy noodles within the sandwich were awesome not overbearing. My friend got the Turkish Eggs, which she said were amazing as well. The pastries were delicious. They will inform you the service charge is included within the tab, but there is option to add additional tip from the device they hand you. Spots to to sit inside along the bar or along the window bar, but probably not for large parties wanting to sit indoors across from each other. Approx 4 parking spots out front so if it's a weekend you may want to park nearby and walk. read more

This is one of Miami's best bakeries! While you have trek out to Key Biscayne, it is worth it! The drive is beautiful!! And the food is... wow! The croissants are to die for, especially the cacio e pepe! And the blueberry lemon pancakes were stellar. This place was packed on a Sunday morning! I love the key Biscayne area! great cafe to stop at after a bike ride! They have limited seating inside and a patio outside ( you can order to-go then eat outside). You can also order pastries, sandwiches, and coffee at the counter. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful. We had iced lattes (I added honey to mine). The chocolate almond croissant was OUTSTANDING-- warm, flaky, soft, buttery with three pieces of chocolate inside and toasted almonds on top. For meals we had: -Eggs a la Huancaina 2 eggs on potato latkes with salsa huancaina, chives. the sauce tasted like hollanddaise. i wish it was a little more spicy. the latkes are big and its pretty filling. -We also had one of their ham and cheeses on rosemary focaccia. they warmed it up. the bread was soft and fluffy and seasoned perfectly with rosemary. I came across this restaurant from a TikTok that raved about this location but tbh was disappointed when I ate here. I ordered the croissant French toast and a side of the sausage. The flavors for both were fine but left much more to be desired. The sausage was generally successful: it had a wonderful spice to it with a nice fennel aftertaste. However, I thought one thinnish patty was not worth the for $6 price (this isn't about being cheap--it's about the quality/portion size for the price point!!). I had high hopes for the croissant French toast but was disappointed too. When I think croissant, I think of buttery layers and those crunchy flakes. This croissant French toast did not possess buttery layers and did not have any crunch, so it missed the mark for me. The flavor was fine though, but I think the dish name had me excited for something that I don't think the dish represented. I also thought the presentation was clunky: the bowl it came in was too small for the food items, making it challenging to eat; the whipped cream just looked too big for the dish; the lemon slices were random?? To me, everything on the plate, including garnishes, should be consumable. Was the intention of the lemon for me to bite into it and eat it? I think if the restaurant wants to add citrus into the dish, perhaps making a lemon gel and dotting that and whipped cream on top of the French toast piece may make it look nicer (and that price point more worth it!!). Finally, the arrangement of the restaurant was confusing. I walked through the front door where the only seating is a bar table around the walls or an actual bar in the front (but there's no bartenders/baristas at the bar in the front which left me ?). The middle was empty--like no chairs or tables. That was confusing to me because is the intention of this place to serve only parties of one? Eating here with someone with this arrangement would be awkward. I also had to order in the bakery section of the restaurant, but then the cashier later became my server too? Didn't really make sense to me, was a bit odd. 3 star = average food/service/experience, nothing to rave about. Several tweaks needed. Would return if craving something specific from the menu. If you didn't know, the pumpkin cinnamon roll is a seasonal menu item, only available Oct-Nov.. and it's the best i've ever had! July 13-14 pumpkin cinnamon rolls were advertised, so wasn't gonna miss out! I was the first one there Saturday morning, i was there so early the pumpkin cina-rolls weren't even out from the oven yet! No big deal- meanwhile i enjoyed a brisket biatch croissant & cappuccino. Came by for a quick stop to check out what is the hype about this place. It was about noon on a weekday and they didn't have much left. A few baked goods left but really very little (few croissants and bread). I believe they closed by 2pm so perhaps that's the reason they didnt have much going on. I had the chance to try 2 of their stuffed croissants: eggs and bacon croissant and short rib croissant. Both were absolutely delicious! Pricey but delicious. Something about the dough makes it special. They are not sweet but also not dry. Just right consistency and flavor. Place is clean and spacious but the parking can be very difficult. I only saw a few spots infront of the store. Staff was attentive and courteous. It is a great place to pick up breakfast or quick baked goods for take out. I didn't order breakfast because I just wanted baked goods but they have a menu available. They also have fresh squeeze juices, tea and coffee. I enjoyed a dirty matcha. I understand that around 4pm Miami Slice pizzas are available. Overall a solid place for anything made with dough. :) read more

Ever since trying Jessa's Egg Sandwich, I find myself craving it. Might even make way over there today to get it. Flour & Weirdoughs is a welcome addition to Key Biscayne. As someone who spent my entire youth there, it was of course a little sad to see Oasis Cafe transform (simply because of nostalgia) but when you walk in to that little bakery and see the menu and the goods, the nostalgia is replaced by hunger and delight. On the morning that I tried F&W, I was looking for a grab and go situation as I needed to head to work. Therefore a breakfast sandwich did the trick. They had me at caramelized onions, avocado, and SOFT SCRAMBLE. There's nothing more than I like than this texture combo--all atop a soft brioche bun--yum! The sandwich was delicious in texture and taste. Now keep in mind, even though I needed a grab and go, it's not like they have the sandwiches lined up for you to literally grab and go. They still make it to order so be prepared to wait a little. In addition, I went on a weekday when it wasn't busy; I imagine on a weekend grab and go isn't really the vibe. Parking is limited with a few spaces right in the front and I'm not sure where one would park otherwise. Also, this is in Key Biscayne which is a highly private island so it's not like there is abundant public parking anywhere except in the village green (and even then it's fairly limited). Would recommend restaurant to provide parking instruction. There is a shopping center next door but I'm not sure if they share it. Whenever I'm in key biscayne I always make sure to stop by Flour & Weirdoughs. I usually pick up some pastries or sandwiches and take it to the beach. Recently we went and sat in their new dining room for brunch. Everything I've had from here over the years has been a hit. They have great iced coffee that hits the spot on a hot day. Updating my review because I recently tried their brunch menu and I am obsessed. Of course, I had to start with their pain au chocolat which is my absolute favorite. Dipping it in a nice warm cafecito was the perfect way to start my early Sunday morning. We then ordered THE pancakes, made with ricotta and cornmeal pancakes, wild blueberry sauce, lemon zest, whipped cream, maple syrup... it was simply perfect. It had this savory taste with the perfect amount of sweetness to it. Insanely good, but would recommend to share because it's very filling + trying other bites from the menu are a must! Next up was the Jessa's sandwich with pepperjack cheese. Wow, this might be my favorite egg sandwich in the city at the moment. The soft scramble with sautéed onions, a lovely aioli sauce with a nice little spicy kick really made every flavor explode in your mouth. All in all, you cannot go wrong with this spot. Bakery with a simple but delicious brunch on weekends (Thurs - Sun). Portions are large and quality is high, so the value of price versus what you get feels quite good. Ambiance is a little funky in a charming way and service fairly hands off but in the nice way where you are taken care of but don't feel rushed. I had the pancakes and they were delicious. They till their own flour and this is probably why my pancakes were so fluffy and fresh. They came with blueberries and lemon zest on top which kept me from tiring of them like I usually do with plain pancakes. I left absolutely stuffed but also impressed with the food I ate. Had a meeting on Key Biscayne and took the opportunity to have my first visit to Flour and Weirdoughs. I've followed them on social for a while but never been. They have a sit down section and a bakery section. Glad I stopped by early since they close at 2:00pm. I got a coffee, two cinnamon rolls and two breakfast croissants with egg and pieces of ham/bacon. They had different breads and croissants available also. The four pastries and a coffee set me back $40. Wouldn't be my regular stop for breakfast but definitely worth a trip. Went for brunch and to be honest I didn't have any expectations. The name alone was the seller for me because I thought it was cool and creative. I went from having 0 expectations to easily saying this might be the home of my favorite breakfast sandwich ever. The bread was so soft and the eggs were so fluffy. I was a little hesitant because I wasn't sure if I'd like the chipotle mayo in the sandwich but it was a perfect combination not too spicy. 10/10. The iced coffee was great and not pictured was the pepperoni pizza which was also a hit. Service was great...we even got a "good job, that's so good" on our selections which cracked me up. I was walking around the area looking for a breakfast spot when I came across their location with a sign that said "Now Open" and decided to try them. As soon as I walked in I saw the counter with all their delicious treats and knew I was in the right place. I ordered their Basic AF Croissant, It's Brisket B*tch Croissant, Chocolate Nocciola Cruffin, and a Caramel Iced Latte. I was very impressed by the quality of the croissants. The Basic AF Croissant was soft, buttery, and flaky. The It's Brisket B*tch Croissant was amazing, made with Montreal Style Brisket, Provolone Cheese, and Grain Mustard, and simply delicious. The Chocolate Nocciola was flaky and had a good balance of sweetness. Overall, Flour & Weirdoughs was good. Their baked goods have a great quality and taste. The one opportunity they had was their service, they were more attentive to customers who were regulars and rushed me to order despite there only being one couple behind me after I had been patiently waiting in line for them to finish a large order for their regulars that were in front of me. I was excited to try this place. I strongly dislike leaving negative reviews. However I did enjoy the egg and bacon croissant along with their fresh baked bread. Everything else wasn't great nor enjoyable. The apple turnover wasn't good, at all. It tasted odd like a stinky raw egg that was left out for a while then baked. The filling tasted as if it were canned apple filling paste. I never had one so oddly made to the point where I couldn't even swallow it and I've tried them from many places. I thought my boyfriend was lying when he said the taste made him feel sick, until I tried it.. As I was in the bakery the employees running it just seemed like they didn't care much about their service was more like "just order" feel with a fake smile. A lady right after me had mentioned the music being extremely loud *elder woman* and instead of telling her "oh I apologize for that not sure what happened, maybe we didn't notice" or just anything at all instead she stood there and looked at her with a fake smile like just order already.... I also noted that the girl who was rolling up croissants had her phone right next to the croissants. Picked up her phone to text and went right back to rolling. I get germs can possibly be baked away but, still just gross & it's probably why the apple turn over tasted like putrid eggs.. our phones carry so much germs and it's just extremely unprofessional and unsanitary to do when handling food?? Especially if we can all see it. The golden milk had a lot of the powder to the point where I could feel it every time I drank. Waste of money. Non the less I am sure I probably just came on the wrong day. Best of luck to this business. Side note: I reviewed their instagram and website. We stopped into this restaurant for breakfast and loved it! Our server was polite and helpful. The restaurant itself is small, with one side with tables for seated meals, and one side with a bakery counter. I ordered the Jessa sandwich, and hubby ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant from the bakery side. Both were fantastic! The croissant was extremely flaky and buttery. The Jessa was unusual in the best way. Eggs, smoked Gouda, caramelized onion, chow mein noodles, on the softest, freshest bread. The coffee and chai lattes were good but not great. Came in for brunch around 11:30am with a friend, sat in the dining area which was small but had enough space that we were sat right away. Our server advised we can order off the menu and also anything from the bakery side and she would bring it to our table. We opted for an iced chai latte, an iced vanilla Latte, the brisket croissant, Gouda and pastrami sandwich, a pretzel, and an order of the blueberry pancakes. While I wish they brought me mustard for the pretzel and maple syrup for the pancake, everything was delicious. The pretzel was soft and buttery and the sandwich was large and filling. If i could give 0 stars I would. This is my 3rd or 4th time coming here and I think the food and drinks are below average; watered down coffee and rude service (consistently). I hit my last straw today when i told the woman at the front there was a bug on the food and she did not care. She also did not respond when my mother an i asked questions about the menu items that were still available. Blatant ignorance on her behalf and overall horrible service. Just for reference i walked in around 12:45 on tuesday 2/17/26. Also, i would recommend going to golden hog right next door, the products are just as fresh, staff is extremely friendly, there's a wider selection of products, and the prices are about the same if not lower. read more

We got to Flour & Weirdoughs around 10 am on a Sunday, surprisingly they still had tons of pastries. I was worried they'd be sold out but nope! We ordered the BEC, ham and cheese croissant, brisket croissant and a palmier. The ham and cheese croissant is my MUST try, it was my favorite pastry from the bunch we got! My boyfriend said the brisket croissant was his MUST try item! The croissant was so fluffy yet flaky but not enough that we got crumbs everywhere. I personally was not a fan of the BEC but my boyfriend loved it. The palmier was also delicious just wish it was a little crunchier! I will definitely be back to try some more items!
