Both the cappuccino and cortadito had such a rich, smooth, and strong coffee flavor! The cortadito had the perfect milk to coffee to sugar ratio. The torticas de Morón were fresh, buttery, and the perfect companion to our drinks. This spot has such a unique, fun, and bright ambiance on SW Eighth St in Little Havana.
This is a delicious coffee shop with so many great options. They have plenty of room to grab a seat and have some delicious authentic Cuban coffee options. Overall this was a great stop on our trip in Little Havana and I would recommend it to anyone who makes their way to this side of Miami.
This cafe is located right across from the Little Havana Visitor Center, and I highly recommend stopping by. They roast their coffee fresh, and you can actually watch the beans being roasted as soon as you walk in, which is a great experience. We were warmly welcomed by our server/barista who explained the most popular coffee options. The top recommendations were the Cuban coffee with condensed milk and whipped cream, and a more traditional Cuban coffee served simply with water. I tried the one with condensed milk and whipped cream and really enjoyed it. Cuban coffee is quite strong and bold, but this version balanced it nicely. It ended up being my favorite coffee of the entire trip. If I had the chance, I would definitely come back and I would have loved to take some of their coffee beans home as well.
Pretty friendly staff. Lots of Cuban coffee to choose from. Pastries and desserts galore. We loved their flans (regular or coconut flans) and their empanadas are fairly priced. Tip is already factored in when you dine in. Really feels like Havana, Cuba! They sell some stuff like coffee beans, coffee mugs, espresso cups and such and there is a cabinet with cigars for sale on one side of the cafe. We went here thrice while on vacay. Low key spot that's safe but crowded area.
This place is a tourist trap. They charge $9 for a coffee. Ask the price before you order, but ever again. I was looking for a coffee place and decided to check it out, based on reviews and again biggest mistake. We paid over $30 for three cups of coffee you see below. Skip this place.
I asked for a latte with almond milk. I was charged for a cafe con leche. The coffee had no almond milk at all. Very disappointed with this coffee.
Darn... coffee is superb. Tried all their coffees from tres leches to the 306 until were kinda shaky off the caffeine. Even came back two days later. Service is great too and fun especially with our server Mary.
This review is for El Pub which I believe is the same establishment Great outdoor ambiance for people watching! I had the pork sandwich which was fantastic! My wife had a beef empanada which I tried and really liked. Service was excellent A must stop!
Best coffee ever! Great little spot, great location. Super friendly staff. We just let the waiter choose for us and he made great selections.
We were on our first trip to Miami Florida. I did a lot of research about restaurants and local cuisine. On the top of my list was Cuban coffee and Cuban pastries. We had a wonderful time on Calle Ocho Lil Havana in Miami. What a fun place ended an amazing night at La Colada. Wow.! such a cute place and a wonderful Cuban vibe. Adding to an exceptional coffee and pastry experience was Juan! Such a sweet young man, so helpful and professional. He spent so much time sharing his knowledge of Cuban coffee and pastries with us! Juan, thank you for such an amazing sweet treat at the end of an amazing night in Little Havana!
Great Cuban coffee spot with few yummy treats in little Havana. Tried their cappuccino that came paired with nice sweetish biscuit. Each table had these coffee beans you can smell 'em! There are couple roasters - freshly roasted for the beverages. pleasant service and in English as many here converse mostly in Spanish. Beverage Orders can take some time - while you wait can check out the store or just chill!
What a fun place for a miss day pick me up! The Tres Leches coffee loved up to its reputation! It was tasty, silky, smooth, and just the right sweetness! We also tried the guava pastry... thee true standout was the RUM CAKE please don't skip it, it was perfection!
Lola coloda gourmet is an artsy coffee place located in Calle Ocho. They offer many cool coffee options, such as classic coladas to inventive treats like Tres Leches lattes, matcha blends, and even coffee‑infused cocktails . It is usually packed and it is a little snug. They also offer outdoor sitting . They have variety of Pastelitos and pastries such as Tres Leches cake, guava‑cheese pastelitos, and savory croquette the Tres Leches cake is a must‑try , not too sweet and very fluffy. They got Cubano sandwiches, ropa vieja, empanadas. Definitely a cool trendy spot to check out.

My husband and I have visited twice now--on two separate trips--and it was just as good both times. We both ordered the iced Tres Leches coffee on each visit, and it's easily our favorite. I especially loved adding the vanilla wafer cookie to my coffee. We tried both the chicken and beef empanadas. Both were good, but we both agreed the beef empanadas were the standout. The flan was also delicious and definitely worth ordering. The staff were friendly and welcoming each time we visited. One thing I'd note for first-time visitors is that it seems easiest to order at the register, especially when things get busy and there's a lot going on. Great coffee, great food, and a place we'll continue coming back to whenever we're in Miami. read more

I found this place online rated as one of the best Cuban coffee spots in Miami so I had to visit while on vacation. It is right in the heart of Little Havana so there is plenty to walk around and sightsee before or after your visit. Now let's get into the real review, the coffee drinks were strong and delicious, just how it should be. We had no clue what to get but the customer service was top tier. Our waiter just asked about our coffee preferences (hot, cold, strong, sweet, alcoholic, etc.) and chose the perfect options for us. The only reason why I am rating 4/5 instead of 5/5 is just because of the prices. We had two coffee drinks and a small tiramisu that costed $35. It was all great but in my opinion, this was a steep price. However, I would recommend for others to visit this place and I would visit again. read more

Miami and Cuban culture are deeply intertwined. If there was something beautiful that came out from the Cold War, it's the settlement of Cubans in Miami, bringing their incredible culture and food to the city. One of those deep traditions is Cuban Coffee and La Colada Gourmet is a newer place that focuses on La Colada - an intensely sweet espresso drink. Opened in 2016, La Colada is a newer establishment and an essential place contributing to revitalization of the Little Havana neighborhood. It is not a "ventanita", a more traditional shop where coffee is served from a window on the street. Instead, La Colada focuses on a higher quality take to coffee and enjoyment within a dedicated space. They roast their own coffee in house with the process visible to guests directly from the seating area. One of the recommended drinks by the host was Capablanca, a combination of Bailey's and coffee. A great drink for those who may not be hardcore coffee enthusiasts, but enjoy an occasional indulge of sweetness. Arguably, what makes La Colada extra special is the level of attention from the team running the place. It was the owner coming by the table and sharing the story of the place, his recommendations and pleasant demeanor. These moments do indeed make all the difference. read more

The tiramisu coffee with the sea salt honey cold foam was absolutely delicious! Shoutout to Adriana for answering all of our questions. read more
Cute lil coffee shop in the heart of Little Havana. I was a little thrown off by a couple of things. 1) you are asked to take a seat, when the server gets to your table she asks you to get up and look at the menu on the wall ( by the register) but she takes your order? 2) they bring you your order but to pay you have to get up again and pay at the register 3) coffee taste was okay, not the best cuban coffee i've ever had specially for the price. 2 cappuccinos and 1 colada was $20 Im my opinion it would be best if they ask people to order and pay at register and then have the servers bring the order to the table by a table number, there should be menus at least QR codes. read more
While visiting Miami recently we stopped at this place to try a cup of coffee. The place is so cute inside with all of the decor and sitting that they have. They have to huge coffee roasters inside the place ,which is so cool.We couldn't decide what to order so I asked the gentleman for some of their popular drinks. After mentioning some I went with the cafe bonbon borracho and my husband ordered a cappuccino. My cafe bonbon boracho is coffee with some condensed milk and some rum (Ron) . When you first see it you see the two colors black and white so you have to mix it really well. Let me tell ti how delicious that was! It's a perfect combination of coffee, sweetness and liquor. My husband tried and he liked it. We both liked this drink so much that we came back the following night to get another one. So if you are in Miami on Calle Ocho you need to stop here for coffee . read more

Super yum coffee. Nice atmosphere with roasting coffee in the background. I would love to try some of the new food items, but we were just there for coffee and pastries. The guava and cheese pastry was delicious. read more

A bustling and lively coffee and bakery spot in the middle of Calle Ocho. We both wanted to try something unique so our server made a dealers choice and both options were phenomenal. It was warm so we opted for iced coffee. Each was presented beautifully, tasted incredible and exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was lovely and it was great sitting by the window and watching the world go buy for a few minutes. Notably, the desert menu had listed prices which were downright cheap, though coffee had no listed price and it came to $25 for the two of us. But I've had $20 cocktails that left me disappointed so I'm not complaining about these prices in a heavily tourist centric area. If I could stop here (and afford it) for my morning coffee daily, I'd be ecstatic. read more

The perfect spot for a quick coffee and a bite to eat! La Colada is not a grab n go shop -- we were seated and a waitress took our order. Meanwhile, we listened to the sounds of a coffee roasting machine drying freshly roasted coffee beans and looked at all the coffee cups and moka pots for sale (the Bialetti moka pots are double the retail price!). I had a double espresso, a ham sandwich (called "tentempié," which means "little snack"), and a beef empanada. My wife and I split a guava cheese pastry and tres leches cake. Everything was delicious and my favorite food items were my little sandwich and the tres leches. The guava cheese pastelito was good, but we are spoiled to have Porto's at home, which is unbelievably good and an unfair comparison. The empanada was loaded with meat and the flaky pastry dough was delicious, but the meat was lacking complexity, but that's a personal preference and not a criticism. Maybe I should have tried the chicken instead? No surprise, the coffee was amazing. I had a sip of my wife's tres leches latte and it was great, if you don't drink black coffee. When you are done, you can head to the cash register to pay your bill or else sit idly at your table wondering "where is the check?" like us! This place is worth a stop, but I imagine there are other similar places nearby that offer similar items. And, if you're not totally filled with sugary goodness when you're done, you can head over to Azucar (ice cream shop), across the street! read more

Beautiful spot in Wynwood. Ordered the double espresso, 100% Arabica beans roasted cubano style. Friend got a special guava flavored espresso the 305. For starters we tried the tostanes. Then shared the salmon sandwich and the cubano. Both great choices, crisp bread, savory roast pork, and crisp well seasoned french fries were the highlights. Atmosphere is cute, warm, cozy. Service was quick and attentive, server explained the specialties on the menu. We had a great time. Worth the stop and meal. read more

The smell of amazing coffee welcomes you but the wonderful lattes and offerings keep you there. My husband and I were eager to try some Cuban coffee and were told this was the place to go. The staff helped us choose based on our preferences and we were impressed with the presentation and taste. The empanadas also were delicious and we even saw them being delivered to the restaurant freshly made. Definitely a must try for anyone interested in tasting Cuban coffee! read more
