Babalu Miami's Garage Sale (I mean it literally, as they are located in the fanciest (and the…read morepriciest $$$$) parking garage of all times) had its first summer sale in late June, you could get first pick of an eclectic mix of must-have items from the likes of Missoni and Kenneth Jay Lane at 20 to 70 percent off. That was cool already. One of Miami Beach's favorite retail destinations for luxury brands, Babalu Miami is located in the heart of the Herzog & de Meuron-designed retail, dining and parking structure at 1111 Lincoln Road. With products ranging from top fragrances, jewelry and accessories to beach gear and home décor, it's a one-stop shop for a chic lifestyle. Babalu Miami is one of the only stores in Miami where you can purchase Fornasetti decorative objects, Ortigia Italy candles and AussieBum swimwear. This happened to be one of my favorite boutiques that lines its shelves with everything from swim trunks to watches, home accessories to skincare, books and more. Designers Greg Melvin and Paolo Ambu opened Babalu Miami in 2010 and feature a coveted selection of luxury and must-have items. Sample fragrances from sought-after brands like C.O. Bigelow, Santa Maria Novella and Alvarez Gomez. Sunglasses from Mosley Tribes, Paul Smith, Ray-Ban, RetroSuperFuture and more are summer's ultimate accessories. Pile on jewelry from Kenneth Jay Lane, Noir, Miriam Salat and Dinosaur Designs; and stock up on skincare products from Malin+Goetz. One-stop shopping while waiting for your elevator has never looked so good!

(Even during the pandemic!) The quality of the beads and the price are definitely worth it. (Especially when comparing a small business to big companies, like Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and Joann.) If there are any problems, questions, and/or concerns that I have regarding me order or their website, I send over an email or message them on their social media. (They also have their business number on their website and on their social media that can be called, but I don't usually call due to the time difference. On their website, they even have a contact message section that you can message them through.) Responses take less than a day to get back.

I absolutely love this store! It's by far the best bead store in the tri-county area. I love the…read moreselection they have of natural gemstones, dyed stones, and findings. I also love how they price-match local competitors in the downtown area.  But the price-matching doesn't really move me because of the two larger competitors in the area, one of them is a huge ripp-off, and the other has many inferior quality beads and some of their beads are double the price of what I can get at Bead Bazaar. The customer service is also great! You can even order online from their website: https://www.thebeadbazaar.com/ If you want to buy in bulk make sure to inquire about wholesale pricing.

Juuust ain't gonna happen. I so enjoy going in there, almost like playing a childhood game, CandyLand was it? Flitting around going from showcase to table all coordinated by color. All manner of red accessories, watches, rings, necklaces, handbags, bracelets, scarves , nail polishesd, cell phone cases, here...then across the isle you find the "peach" collection, and then the blues, and not ONE blue table but a table of Navy blue accessories... near the table of aqua .. across from the baby blues, near turquoises, near. solid black, solid silver, solid golds.....well, you've got the picture..and the prices!! Okay, we're not talkin' fine jewels here, not even semi- precious, yet the look of it is far beyond the look of plastic bagged straight from China bling....though it might well be, Point being it doesn't look "cheepo" it looks fun, fresh, trendy, creative, sparkly,..and a great place for gifts for lady friends... ...and very pretty clothing also many silky looking blouses, lots of very feminine styles, pretty a nice selection of hair jewelry too. in your standard sm., med. Lg. Dont look for out-size here..even the bracelets alll come in "medium"..not good if your wrists are larger or smaller than average. Rings, however come sized 5-9. I can't imagine not being able to find the perfect accessory here for any garment you own..all priced verrry reasonably! The personnel are also always friendly welcoming and helpful. Think I'll go play CandyLand tomorrow!

The Golden Triangle has been in the Gables for as long as I can remember, and the perfect place to pick up a unique gift. I usually go for crystals and incense but they have a lot of interesting things. If you want to pick up something unique and meaningful, this is your spot. Parking is ample on the street, but be mindful of times as during lunch and happy hour times its busy. There is a garage on aragon right by the store so it's a good option as well. The folks at the store are always helpful if you have questions about what may fit your needs best.

I visited here around 1 PM on a Monday in November. There was one person finishing up a big shop and chatting with the employee as we walked around and looked and interacted with all the little trinkets. It's so hard to even describe the store because there's any and everything here. In the back right, there were clothing. In the front right of the store, there were magnets and other things for your desk. In the front left of the store and along majority of the left wall, there was everything from essential oil of candles to incense. In the middle of the store, it was a mosh pit of everything else you can think of that is inspired by south and Southeast Asian culture. I go to the swap meet, flee market, and cultural stores a lot and this place was a bit cheaper than what I seen in other places. The only downside to this place is that it is overstimulating. I love colors but even this was a bit much for me. I was visually overstimulated. The smells were a bit overwhelming. I was just not prepared for that.

Where's the New York location, I wondered, or is it one of those Miami places that love to piggyback on a famous city name like New York? Most likely the latter. Either way, I was surprised even more - it's a nice place (I didn't smell anything fishy when I walked in here) that looks clean, very organized, and is pretty inexpensive. They're nice knock-off clothings - but none of that bling-bling which you can find pretty much anywhere else in Miami. I'm not going to say that the quality is the best - because they probably are not. I'm not going to say that they're trendy - since it's all subjective, and I truly believe it's a person that makes a piece of clothing trendy or not. Find the diamond in the rough - and doing it here is pretty much an easy shot without hurting your pocket! Especially when comparing with other knock-off clothing shops located in warehouses around Miami that's haphazardly disorganized. This is a nice (and good) change. Now, if they could only have something for the men of the world.... Maybe a Kore Dubai next door? :D

"Wow, that's so cute! Where did you get that?" My answer is usually "Oh, a little boutique in Miami." Hey, it's not a lie.
