What a disappointment. Went there to grab some coffee and a croissant to go. First SUPER slow. Place wasn't even that busy and waiter way longer than we should have for a simple order. I came here for a quick bite for lunch time and we were greeted by the host that was very knowledgeable of the menu. I didn't order any drinks just had water and a tuna melt sandwich. The pastel and the brigadeiro cappuccino are worth it (super original and delicious). Sagrado cafe is in a great location with a beautiful outdoor seating space. We had the cheese bread and Coxhina as well as a pastel and croissant sandwich. 4 Stars for good coffee in an amazing location. I was visiting the PAM and Frost Museum and had to grab some coffee as we waited for our friends to arrive. Luckily, Yelp steered me to Sagrado. The weather was perfect, so we sat outside and enjoyed the views. We ordered coffees and Pão de queijo, or Brazilian cheese bread. They came pretty swiftly and were absolutely delicious. Though we didn't sit inside, I walked through on the way to the bathroom and it looked beautiful and super uniquely decorated inside. The bathrooms are a bit awkward in that there are two doors, but they bring you in to a waiting room for a single toilet room in each. This means if you walk in you just stand there with a 3/4 wall waiting for the person to finish, but meanwhile the room next to you may open up first. It's hard to explain, but it was awkward... Still, not a big deal! Overall, a great option for coffee in the area! read more

What a wonderful experience, this restaurant has a wonderful menu, staff, and ambiance. I absolutely adored brunch at this restaurant. The menu has everything I missed from Brazil. I was craving acai and this is by far the best one I have eaten here in Miami. The texture was perfect, generous amount of fruits and coconut made this absolutely fantastic. It's a family-owned restaurant, so all the servers were very passionate about the menu and the history of the restaurant. I wanted to try out the Sagrado Cafe because I passed it every day after my morning cardio in the park. I love aesthetically pretty food and d this place did not disappoint. I checked in with the hostess and was immediately seated. She did not ask me if I preferred inside or outside but I just rolled with it and sat inside. My waiter was awesome so friendly and his smile was contagious. I decided on the iced brigaccino and the croissant where I could choose up to 6 or 7 toppings. I really wanted the waffles but, I'll get those next time. My iced coffee was delicious and came out quickly. It was not filled with sugars and just the way I enjoy my iced coffee. My eggs croissant appeared a few minutes later and it was oh so filling. I definitely left this place satisfied. The entire staff were fully engaged with all the customers and even though it was busy, they did not miss a step. Sagrado has been in my list for quite some time! After visiting the dogs and cats walkway, we made our way to the cafe for dessert. I was surprised to also see the extensive menu and several Brazilian dishes which all sounded delicious! For dessert, I had the passion fruit mousse which had rich chocolate fudge topping and Oreo crust. I was not expecting passion fruit with chocolate but it was delicious! The chocolate on top was too much, I preferred just the crust and passion fruit. I also wanted to order the brigadeiro strawberries but they did not have them for individual sale so settled on 2 chocolate brigadeiros. It was too late in the evening for coffee but definitely would like to order an option from the coffee menu my next visit! The ambiance stands out, like you walked into a cafe in Brazil. The service was quick and efficient. I would recommend splitting desserts as we had plenty to take to go as well. If the concept of a "food embassy" existed, this would be it since one feels like they are teleported off domestic soil and transported into a traditional cafe off a busy street in Rio de Janeiro free to partake in all things Brazilian with all the classics such as the cheese puffs, coxinha (croqueta) and pastel (empanadas) for appetizers, the nap-inducing Feijoda (national dish of Brazil so eloquently raved upon by the late Anthony Bourdain in the Sao Paulo episode of The Layover) as well as various sweets such as the Brigadeiro (traditional Brazillian chocolate confection) and passion fruit mouse served in an edible chocolate cup. I stopped by the Sagrado Cafe to cool down from the heat. I had a nitro cold brew with a bridgederio gelato. The coffee was a bit bitter and they do not have sugar for the coffees so you have been warned. The gelato was nice but the portions are quite small for the cost. Overall really enjoyed Sagrado Cafe. No wait at 11am on a Sunday morning. The patio is nice and shaded with lots of fans. We brought our dog and the staff immediately brought him a bowl of water. Brazilian brunch place conveniently located around Frost Museum and Bayside Market place. It's a good place to grab breakfast if you're visiting those locations. They have limited seating area but we luckily didn't have to wait as long to be seated. We got: Original acai bowl Coxinha (5 pieces) Tapioca Crepe (comes with 2 cheese bread) Tuna Melt Brazilian Empanada (Pastel) Their acai bowl is delicious and it might look small but it's actually a lot of food since the bowl they service it in is pretty deep. They give you honey on the side incase you prefer a sweeter taste. The coxinha is amazing! Might seem pricey for how much they give you but it's totally worth it. The tapioca crepe is definitely an acquired taste. It's nothing like regular crepe or pancakes - the texture is grainy and it's tasteless. However, the filling inside is overly savory so when you combine both it evens out the taste. The tuna melt is huge. Bread is focaccia bread but it taste a less airy and more dense then your regular Italian focaccia. You can definitely eat it for two meals... it was a big sandwich. The filings is tasty. They also have a lot of fun coffee/drink/desserts options to choose from. We were so full after our main meals we weren't able to try the desserts. Highly recommend this place! I've been to this cafe many times and always have an amazing experience. Everything on the menu is in huge proportions and tastes great. I love the Brazilian elements of the menu. My favorite drink is the Brigaccino, a coffee with brigadeiro chocolate around it, a great combination which isn't overwhelmingly sweet. My favorite food item is the acai bowl, the fruit is delicious and super fresh and the acai tastes great. I also like that it comes with honey, the topping complements it super well. I always enjoy the service here and it's a great place to either eat with a group or study or get some work done. The decor is really cute too. I have tried the steak salad, sagrado waffle, and chicken stroganoff as well and all of these dishes were great. I will definitely return and try more items on the menu. read more

Riding around I rolled past this place. Ended up having to park in the garage, and walk over. Upon coming in a nice woman sat me down and that's about where the service ended. It took my waiter a long time to come to the table. And after taking my order and bringing my food I was not checked on after that at all. He literally would look at me and keep on walking. Speaking of, they don't have tap water and you have to buy bottled, which is a bit annoying. Such a cute Brazilian cafe! I came here with a book and enjoyed their delicious briggacino (basically a cappuccino with fudge around the rim, to die for! The perfect amount of sweetness added to an unsweetened coffee). You of course need to order pao de quejo when you go to a Brazilian spot, and theirs came out warm with great texture.
