This is a cafe with restaurant quality food. You order at the counter but they bring the food to you. I got the shashuka which tasted fresh and zesty. However, the eggs were cooked through so the yolk did not burst the way I wanted it to. My husband got the Spanish breakfast which was honestly better than the shashuka

Went here because i was walking by and saw they just opened and i wanted a coffee after my workout. I ordered just a plain vanilla iced latte. It was too warm for an iced latte and had way too much syrup. The person taking my order wasnt too friendly. Probably wouldnt come back, or if i do, it would only be for food (their pancakes for breakfast looked good).

What a lovely atmosphere this restaurant has! Came here for a late breakfast and we dined outside. I ordered the Shaksukka and a side of sausage, along with an oatmilk latte. The entree was very good and full of flavor. I loved how billowy and soft, yet toasted the pita wedges were. Very filling dish and I could only eat about half. The side of sausage was a big portion! Not bad for $6. Service was good and food brought out quickly. I will say that the restaurant dining area and outside seating area are so lovely and inviting that it makes their bathroom pale in comparison.

Novela Cafe Social is great place to do some work or just chill. I came here on my last day in Miami for some lunch and I had shakshuka, which was profoundly delicious paired with a green juice. We sat outside enjoying the sun and the vibes of Wynwood. Service was quick and I got my order in no time! If I lived in the area I definitely would choose this place as a work/study spot.

We stopped by Novela Cafe Social in Wynwood on a whim because the Miami weather was perfect and we wanted some outdoor seating. The patio is really cute and the atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great spot to work on your laptop or just hang out. The food honestly was delicious. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was so surprisingly incredible. The fried egg with the crunchy layer of cheese surrounding it was especially good. I'm still wishing I could have another one. I also tried the Ube Matcha, which was nice and subtle. Next time I'd probably add honey for it to be a little sweeter. If you're in the area and want a cozy spot with surprisingly delicious food, definitely check out Novela Cafe Social. It's an awesome find, especially when the weather's nice. Total hidden gem!

After an evening out, my husband and I desperately needed strong coffee and a big breakfast. Parking in Miami is a nightmare, but walking a few blocks was worth it to get to Novela Cafe Social. The cafe is filled with remote workers quietly working and sipping their coffee while others head to the back to a yoga and Pilates studio. The workers were really nice and helpful as we decided what coffee and food to order. I was desperate for coffee so forgive the no picture, but I had an iced latte with extra shot and hazelnut that helped me wake up, and the French toast covered in berries that soaked up the alcohol from the night before. I love challah toast, thick, cinnamon, and the berries came together for a great bite. It really hit the spot! My husband also had an iced latte, I think with honey. The American Breakfast was huge and way more than he expected as he'd ordered sausage on the side not realizing it came with bacon, and there was even hash browns under the scrambled eggs Overall, we had a great experience and if we were local we'd definitely come back, as I see why so many choose to come and work out of this space.

I thought this place was fantastic, coffee was good food was delicious and the prices are decent. You also get to sit in the courtyard with the beautiful trees definitely recommend!

This is my 3rd time back! I've had a random craving for French Toast for a week, finally decided to go out and find it, little did I know it would be so close. It was my first time having the Challah French Toast and it was soo worth it! Quite possibly the best I've ever had. Service was much faster than my first experience (disclaimer: I knew it was a one-off). It was a cool cloudy day so I opted to sit inside this time and enjoyed the soft music playing, people quietly working around me, food and coffee being prepared in the background, just easy going, relaxed vibes, exactly what I needed.

Decided to check out this restaurant with my friend during Art Basel week in Miami. Even though there was traffic it was worth the brunch. Antonio was attentive and quick to help. The outdoor and indoor seating was decorative and open which was a plus.

The moment I walked into Novela Café Social in Miami, I knew I wasn't just entering a coffee shop--I was stepping into a full-blown telenovela. The air was thick with drama--in the best way possible. The music, the decor, the aromas... it was like every sense was dialed up to eleven. I ordered a cortado and the moment the barista handed it to me--no joke--I felt like I had just received a love letter. The foam was like silk, the espresso rich and deep, like a secret no one dared speak out loud. I sat near the window, watching the world pass, and somehow even the sunlight pouring in felt romantic. Then came the food. I wasn't ready. The shakshuka? A passionate explosion of flavor. The avocado toast? A plot twist with every bite. Even the salad had more drama than a season finale. I half expected someone to burst in and declare their love in front of everyone. The energy in the space is electric. Strangers make eye contact like old lovers, friends talk with animated hands and laughter that fills the air like a soundtrack. I caught myself daydreaming mid-bite, imagining I was the lead in some sweeping love story--complete with espresso and scandal. Novela Café Social isn't just a place to get coffee. It's an experience. A beautiful, bold, over-the-top, ridiculously delicious experience. If you ever wanted your morning to feel like chapter one of something unforgettable, this is the place.

I tried this place with a couple of friends while we were waiting to head to our cruise. The ambiance is absolutely amazing. As soon as you walk in you feel the vibe and it's very cozy and inviting. A plus is that there are soooo many outlets near the seating area. There's also an outside sitting area that's covered. We opted to sit inside because it was a little warm out. I ordered the cheesy eggs on a brunch with a side of sausage patties. The eggs were delicious and fluffy. The cheese was divine and the pull effect was real with the cheese. The bottom bun had some sort of jam on it that I didn't realize until I bit into it. It added such a sweetness to the sandwich that blended perfectly. The patties looked to be homemade and were a nice size. Not sure if it was chicken, pork, or turkey. They had a great flavor to them in that they were pretty hearty and nicely seasoned. This meal was nice and filling! I would definitely visit again :)

The food was good but not amazing. It's pricey given that it's Miami. But the vibes of the place were nice. We are outside in the courtyard under the trees which was very pleasant. The servers were pretty amicable and the decorations were cute. I had the breakfast burrito which tasted good but was a little too greasy for my taste. I would say it's a decent option for breakfast in the area.

Sausage Egg & Cheese Sammie on a brioche w/ Spicy Mayo & Avocado Toast with fried egg
    Sneha C.

Novela is one of my favorite little cafes to work from. The WiFi is solid and the food and coffee never miss. I got the sausage egg and cheese sammie on brioche with spicy mayo and it was unreal--so good I find myself craving it way too often. The avocado toast with a fried egg hits every time too. Their outdoor area is beautiful and makes working from there feel easy and calm

    Classic breakfast. Potatoes are hidden.

The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

The standout of the entire meal was the tres leches French toast an absolute 10/10. It was rich, perfectly sweet, and honestly one of the best brunch items I've had. The seasonal fruit platter was also a 10/10 so fresh and beautifully presented with honeydew, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, and a side of blueberry yogurt that tied everything together perfectly. The breakfast burrito, however, was more of a 5/10 very basic and didn't stand out compared to the other dishes we tried. Overall, the experience was still enjoyable, especially because of the incredible French toast and fresh fruit platter. I'd definitely come back for those alone, but I'd probably explore different savory options next time.

Food Quality: We ordered burgers, which unfortunately were overcooked. My husband decided to send his back, and while the second attempt was better, it still didn't hit the mark. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich, which was decent but fell short of the excitement promised in the menu description. Hunger vs. Quality: I was too hungry to send my burger back, so I ended up with a well-done burger that lacked the juicy flavor I was hoping for. It's disappointing when you anticipate a delicious meal, only to have it miss the mark. Pricing: I also found the prices a bit steep, especially for the drinks. The juices felt overly expensive compared to the overall dining experience. In summary, while Cafe Americano has potential, my experience was just okay. The food quality and value didn't quite align with our expectations. I might consider giving it another try in the future, but I'd approach it with a bit more caution.
