I had an amazing experience visiting this little gem in Miami. Service was excellent! My server really went out of his way to make this an excellent experience. I had the paella negra and the crema catalana and both were superb. The ambiance was great, it took you straight to Spain. Great experience!

Went for happy hour. Great happy hour prices. Only downfall was the Ibérico ham, the slices were too thick for my preference. Gambas al ajillo was full of flavor. Server was attentive and ambiance was nice with Spaniard music playing.

I came with a friend on a slow Tuesday and it was just ok. The ambiance was so dead, there was no music, the staff was nice but it was so odd to not have an inviting environment. The food was ok, some things were super savory and salty and then others just missed the mark. Some of the items felt like they came out of a microwave too. We got the paella and it was just ok. was excited to try this place but missed the mark for me.

Had been wanting to try this place since we live so close and was finally able to do so. The waitress greeted us and sat us down immediately to our reserved table. They assisted us in choosing our wine and made some suggestions on food items. To start off we had the ham croquettas and pan con tomate which was great! I then had the filet mignon medallions with fries for my entree and my bf had the lamb chops with veggies and potatoes. He really enjoyed the lamb chops. We wanted to try the torta de queso vasca but sadly they had ran out. We will definitely return for a tastes of the torta and during weekend when they have flamenco shows. Although the location is small, it is decorated very authentic and you feel like you are in a small location in Madrid.

Overall the experience was slightly above average. started with the Croquetas de Bacalao as an app , which had more of a doughy taste. almost no bacalao. the Seafood paella was the best dish, with shrimp , squid and mussels. Great texture and flavor. unfortunately the paella campesina, with meat wasn't as good, the best thing was the morcilla garnish it had in top, although bigger in size than the Seafood paella, the flavors were lacking. the tarta de santiago was delicious( It has to be because is usually never made in house) although it was lunch time , no specials were available, just the regular menu.

Visited this local Miami hidden gem for the second time last week. Both times the food was delicious. This time we ordered the mushroom appetizer and the seafood paella and both were delicious. Parking could be hard to come by depending at what time you visit. They have a flamenco show on the weekends, but they do charge $10 per person for that.

Our wonderful waitress bringing one of the excellent tapas.

Oh my goodness, what a treat this restaurant is! I definitely recommend it on your next visit to Miami! First, the staff is amazing. They were welcoming and very attentive. Excellent service all night long, even when they got busy. And the atmosphere was extremely authentic, we felt as though we were in Spain again. We started with sangria and were not disappointed, we love the red the best. And the food was so good. The tapas were all amazing, the paella was the best we have had since visiting Spain. Visiting on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday--you can enjoy flamenco dancing. If you are in Miami waiting for your cruise or just enjoying the beach, make an evening out at Madrid Tapas y Vino, you'll be glad you did.

Located right off Lejeune Road near Miami international airport is a little taste of Spain with yummy tapas. It's at a strip mall and parking is tight but I would say it's pretty much worth the find it. I stopped by for lunch a recent Saturday and since I was in workout mode decided to eat outside. That and a slight mixup which they did fix with my sangria is what it is only four stars. For starters the dishes are much more flavored and generously sized than a well known Spanish chain place. For example my patatas bravas were thinly sliced and with a nicely spicy red tomato sauce with a decent bit of heat. The Huevos rotos I enjoyed had perfectly salty Serrano ham, a sunny side up egg and fries (instead of potato chips like at some chain spots). Dessert was the crema catalana recommended by my waiter. The crust was slightly crispy and the crème rich and not excessively sweet. A strong espresso and white wine sangria consisted of the liquid part of my meal. I heard that they have flamenco and or other music shows inside and on the weekend. Even for a normal meal I would recommend eating inside as I did have to step in a couple of times to get service. They also gave me red wine sangria to start when I asked for white wine sangria. However they did straighten this out quickly. It's definitely a find for either in the area or a good introductory meal when you land in Miami.

Food was delicious here! Nice environment. Friendly staff. Not a very big space would def recommend a reservation if you're going at a busy time. There's some parking along the side but it's small and limited.

Really nice place in the middle of Miami. Food was good and was tasty. English is a second language for most of the staff so communication can be a little tricky but overall good service and food, what else can you ask for.

How much is the show per person?

If you sit inside I believe it's $10 per person. If you sit in the patio area you do not pay for the show.

We totally could have split one meal- HUGE portions and unfortunately; couldn't eat it all. It was very tasty however; the Cole slaw was lite and the fries were excellent. I felt bad we left so much- we couldn't take it with us since we were headed to the airport. Anyway, service was attentive - total bill was about $35 before tip. We'd definitely return if we are in the area.

They also have a small dining area with a bar in the middle and a decent-sized enclosed patio. We choose to sit out on the patio. We were lucky enough to get the piano table. The restaurant, as you would guess, serves mostly seafood, but also has burgers, soups, salads, and steak. They also have an unpublished kids' menu and happy hour specials. They also have live music on weekends; luckily, we missed it. I heard that it can get loud, and we were just getting over a cruise hangover. My kids got the pasta and the steak kids' meals. I got the Snapper Sandwich. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes and was very hot. I will say that they have large portions. Our food was ok. Nothing special. My kids did not finish their food and said that it was just mahhhhhh. My sandwich was the same. It was very greasy and not much to write home about. I also got a side of sweet plantains, and they were really good. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He was very busy and kept up with the pace. I would say that this restaurant is actually a 3.5-star joint, but since that is not an option, I will say that it is closer to a 3 than a 4 based on the food. If you are in the area and looking for some seafood, i would probably give this spot some consideration.

If so, I…read morewould have come at a time where I was hungry and for a mere five dollars had them prepare my meal for me. But that being said, I found it to be a very nice fish market. Now there is a huge downside that you immediately encounter when you arrive. The parking lot is exceptionally small and people are parked every which way, except in the spaces. Getting to the actual building will take some time. The neighboring lots have pretty clear signs that they will tell you if you park there. So you're stuck dealing with what it is. The fish variety is good, although not great. If you're looking for strictly local fish, you'll probably find what you want. Several varieties of snapper and the fish looked wonderful and fresh. Some of my favorites like hogfish and grouper. You can buy the whole fish and they'll fillet it for you or you can buy fillets if they have them of the fish that you want. But the part I missed is having them cook it for me. Now that is something I would like to try next time The downside is they strictly local fish. You won't find any flatfish and I was surprised that they did not have any U4 or U6 shrimp which I like to use to make paella. In addition, I did not see fresh scallops. They did have some nice lobster tails although I did not see other shellfish. Some people have said the prices are reasonable; I found them about 20 to 30% higher than other fish markets I visit. The people here are really nice in the market is attractive. I will be back as I said to get a meal cooked for me in part because it is closer than the fish markets I usually visit and also my curiosity after reading other reviews. I recommend this market if you have the patience to wait for a parking space. If you're looking for the larger shrimp for paella look elsewhere

When I heard La Pata Gorda was coming from Ecuador to Coral Gables, I knew I had to try it. I definitely went a little crazy ordering, but every bite made it worth it. First up were the grilled conchas (grilled oysters) and WOW! These were the star of the night. The flavor was so unique and absolutely incredible. Next was the shrimp ceviche, which was different from the lighter versions I usually have since this one had more of an orange colored sauce, but the flavor was still very much there, super good! Then I tried the encebollado, a true Ecuadorian staple, and it was delicious as well. Lastly, I had the seco de chivo. It was okay, not the best I've had, but definitely not the worst either. I just don't think that's their specialty. The seafood is clearly where they shine. For dessert, I got the coconut flan and it did not disappoint! I also tried their mango mule mocktail, which was really good and refreshing. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the service was top-notch, and overall it was such a great experience. I'd absolutely recommend coming here for the seafood, so definitely go check them out!

We wanted to try the tuna tartar sampler and Galapagos Brujo but they had ran out. They also ran out of the Baklava for dessert and replaced it with tres leche. Which I was happy about because the tres leche was delicious. One of the best tres leche I've had. The croquetas and cevichito were also very tasty. I would definitely order them again. The crab bisque was rich in flavors. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and creamy lentil moro that it came with was delicious as well. The chopsue was okay but I do not think I would order it again. My friend loved it though. The service was great. My friend and I were talking for hours and not once were we rushed.
