The place is very cool, they have a great vibe. Servers were very helpful and friendly, they were fast in the beginning, but after serving, they took very long for the to go I ordered in the beginning and to bring the check, but they are really friendly, do not worry about it! Sangria was just ok. Bread was warm and crispy. Tortilla espanola very good. The croquetes were delicious (bacalao, ham, and cheese). The oxtail was very good. The small fishes with fried eggs on top, was good, the idea is nice, but very oily.

Finding an authentic Spanish restaurant outside Spain, is impossible but in Miami, this place is the closes i have been to it. This is a stables place that has been here for many year and they know what they are doing. I can not pick one particular dish to recommend but i would try the paella and fabada or the Calgo Gallego. Their wine selection is very good and very affordable. So come by and you will not be disappointed.

Again, I am here at this restaurant. This time, I tried the "Black rice with seafood and calamari ink". They use great quality ingredients and a knowledgeable art cousins chef. The restaurant updated the Spanish wine list. Great wines at prices you will not see anywhere, Why? There are no intermediaries. A great place for family, friends, and business reunions. Buen provecho!

Three stars is about right, since my experience is somewhere between the godawful one stars and the "Ole'" 4 and 5 stars. This spot seems to have potential, and maybe I just went on an off night..ojala! I saw a couple of friends bookmark it and when I had to make a delivery in Brickell (legitimate, an engineer with a car multitasking as a courier :) I stopped by. The initial greeting was warm, and I asked for a menu to check out. A couple of dishes caught my eye, and I was seated in the smaller dining area by the entrance (they have a larger area next door.) The Huevos Estrellados (fried eggs, regular fries and a choice of Serrano ham, chorizo or chistorra; I picked Bachelorette #1 - the Serrano) caught my eye and I ordered that along with a manchego plate. My Serrano ham was salty and the eggs runny enough. The manchego had the right firmness and smooth taste. Service was where it loses some stars. When I ordered my creme Brulee, there was a little bit of a wait. The hostess only mentioned that it would take a while because they Brulee it with iron instead of the blowtorch when she saw me on Yelp Mobile writing a review for another spot! Previous experience has been when a dish takes longer to make, the waiter mentions it when you order. Small detail, but I'm picky like that. The crust also wasn't as crispy as I like it.

Last Sunday we decided to try this place that we have been recommended so much. I have delayed the visit since my husband is allergic to seafood and the best of Spanish cuisine is about that, right? I finally convinced him talking about what I saw on the menu through Yelp: the potatoes with alioli sauce, the anchovies with vinegar, stuffed peppers, chistorras, garlic mushrooms, Serrano ham and Manchego, which were indeed spectacular! I really recommend them. In the end I ordered a half portion of paella to not leave without tasting it and I was also delighted with its flavor. This place has a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Some dishes seemed a bit expensive, but I think it's all worth it.

There was deliciously fresh complimentary bread (and complimentary water too, which was amazing to find in Miami). The bread was still hot from the oven, and it was nice and crunchy but still soft. The table had olive oil for the bread too, but I don't think it necessarily needed it because it was so good by itself already. The Valencia Paella had chicken and seafood in it, and I honestly loved the combination. The chicken was cooked perfectly so it was nice and tender and also well-seasoned. The seafood had great flavor, and I really enjoyed trying all the different kinds. I love paella, and I've been looking for a good paella ever since I tried it in Spain for the first time. After debating between a few options in Miami, I was so happy I went with this restaurant because I was very satisfied with their paella. Overall, the food was amazing, and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The experience couldn't have been better, and I'm already eager to go back to try the Iberian Ham and say hi to Felipe again.

I stopped in for lunch after a work meeting and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I needed a "steak break," so I opted for the "I Can't Believe It's Not Carbonara"--and I have zero noodle regrets! The zucchini substitute combined with a delicious carbonara sauce meant there was no concern about the lack of traditional pasta. The zucchini more than filled the role, and I certainly appreciated the caloric savings. The chicken was also well-cooked, flavorful, and moist. I especially loved the tableside delivery and the unique touch of being served directly from a colander. The order isn't huge, which I appreciated, it felt the right size for lunch without weighing down your afternoon. Now, there were likely no calorie savings with the Serrano Ham Croquettes, but they are small and easily shareable if you want to spread the love. They are a true step up and a legitimate treat compared to run-of-the-mill mozzarella sticks. The decor kitsch continues right until the end--the check arrived in an old-school lunchbox! The staff were great throughout the meal, making for a seamless and enjoyable lunch.

The restaurant has a small outdoor area on a little veranda, and the indoor area that isn't very big either. The design of the place is simple but pretty. The menu offers a nice variety - from small tapas to large main dishes like paella. I decided to try two hot tapas: ham croquettes and octopus with boiled potatoes. The croquettes were good, but not super delicious. The octopus dish, however, tasted fantastic; I really enjoyed it! Price-wise, the place does seem a bit pricey. For 4 small pieces of Serrano ham croquettes I paid $13, and the octopus was $20. Tapas usually don't cost that much, even at many other restaurants around Miami that I've been to. And considering that the croquettes were just okay in quality, I definitely think they should lower the prices a bit. Another annoying thing about this place - the 18% tip is automatically included in the bill. I truly hate when restaurants in Miami do that! And honestly, in this case, I wouldn't have tipped my waitress that high. She wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming. She gave me literally 2 minutes to choose my food (yes, I know I came late, but still...), took my order, brought it, and only came back once she noticed I had finished, just to ask if I was ready for the check. She didn't even ask how the food was. In my opinion, this wasn't 18% tip-worthy service. To sum up: I'm glad I tried this place. I might come back one day to try something else from the menu. There were only a couple group of customers when we ate here so it was quiet. The server was quite friendly, and walked us through the menu patiently. It's not a long list of menu selections, and each tapa dish was small portion as expected and a bit pricy (normal for Miami though). We had three orders of the side breads coz they were so crispy and flavourful. For tapas, we also tried the warm salad with eggplant and red pepper which was soft and had an interesting taste. The pork cheek was tender and flavourful, so we placed an extra order of it. Ibreico ham was also a must try (portion was ok). Artichoke exceeded my expectations. Usually I'm not a big fan of this vegetable, but I liked the sweet and sour taste offered at this restaurant. Overall, it's a great dining experience. Expect $100+ CAD/$70+ USD per person.
