For a Spanish taverna, we expected a lively, warm atmosphere--music, conversation, and a welcoming vibe. Instead, the restaurant felt dead silent, stiff, and uncomfortable. It was so quiet and stuffy that we didn't even feel comfortable speaking with each other. We enjoy fine dining, but this was absolutely not that experience. After receiving water, we waited--and waited--with no service and no acknowledgment from any staff member. Despite being a group of seven, no one approached our table for quite some time. Eventually, we felt so uncomfortable and ignored that we all got up and left. Even my mom, who waited to let the staff know we were leaving, had to walk away because no one bothered to come over. This is not what anyone should expect from a local Spanish restaurant that calls itself a tavern. It lacked hospitality, warmth, and basic customer service. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a welcoming, relaxing, or enjoyable family dinner.
