    Delicious spanish mix appetizer
    Alexandra C.

Small spanish restaurant with excellent service & food. The ambiance is mello & relaxing.

    Flan was sooo good!!

Such a cute spot! We were so excited to try this new Spanish place and it did not disappoint. The vibe is warm and welcoming, the food was fantastic, and the staff was absolutely spectacular. We tried the tabla, croquetas, Gilda, albondigas, boquerones, and finished with the flan. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The wine was perfect too. You can tell there's a lot of heart in what they do. Thank you to Juan, Pablo, and the amazing chef, Luis!! Highly recommend. Can't wait to come back!

I tried their short ribs with risotto and it was delicious! the beef was flavorful and I really liked the risotto! it was cooked perfectly! Let's start with appetizers, the croquettes were great 10/10 and the plantain chips with cheese and chorizo were also good 7/10, however, from appetizers to actual main course it took about 1 hour for food to arrive. The pasta cooked on the parmesan wheel is the best thing in the menu 8/10, in my opinion. Unfortunately, we only ordered one of those and our party of 7 was more into risotto which was a total disappointment. The risotto with shrimp was a total disaster 0/10, the shrimp looked like the cooked shrimp wheel from Publix, no seasoning, farm raised and boiled on the side of a risotto that was about half a cup of cold rice. We ordered 3 of those and felt totally robbed. The black risotto was a bit better 6/10 but also cold. The seafood risotto was a 6/10 also cold. The dessert that hit the spot was the 3 leches 10/10. The balloons on the chairs flipping to one's head every time the door opened was also a total failure that made the experience not an enjoyable one. Then let's talk about the restaurant ceiling, which we ended up looking at since we had to wait almost 1 hour for our main course to arrive, the vents are nasty, you can see the accumulation of dust on the vents and the wood on the ceiling. Luckily we were seating on the area to the side of where the vents are, if not, it would have been totally disgusting to seat under that area to eat. We spent over $400 for a party of 7, 3 appetizers, 7 main course and 4 desserts. Overall I think the place is heavily overpriced given the mediocre quality of the food and it needs urgent attention to the cleaning of the ceiling.

The bartender was very nice and offered to help us choose the best drink based on our preferences. The drinks were refreshing. We ordered the short rib croquetas which were delicious. The chicken nuggets and caviar were a fun order, but I think you could skip on this because they seem like regular frozen chicken nuggets, it was still OK. I would definitely order the Korean barbecue skewers, which were my favorite. The tiramisu was huge but a little too sweet. I think this is a great spot for happy hour and would have to come back to try the main conditions.

For food, we ordered the short rib croquetas which were really delicious! My husband got the airline chicken. It was good, but he felt it lacked more flavor. The oxtail, on the other hand, had a great flavor! I ordered the short rib ravioli. I don't know if it's normally like this or if there was a little slip in the kitchen but it was EXTREMELY salty. I'm usually one to add plenty of salt to dishes but this tasted like the cap of the salt shaker fell out while seasoning. Overall, I like this spot for a cute date night. The drinks are really fabulous as well as the vibe and the food is really good.

On the outside it's a little unassuming even though the plaza itself is nice, but the decor inside was elegant. Our server was really friendly. Unfortunately, she di forget to bring into our appetizer. But we even forgot until after we were eating dinner so we didn't say anything (and it turns out it wasn't on the check either). We went at around 8:30 pm on a Friday night and there were only a few other tables, it they're open until 3am so we assume it is more of a late night spot. We both thought the food was incredible though. I had salmon (which was cooked to perfection) and cilantro rice. I ordered vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes, and broccolini) which were also surprisingly tasty. My husband had the mofongo. It was just different from the typical Puerto Rican mofongo in that didn't come with sauce other than some garlic sauce, but the taste was still great. He also liked the chicken that came with it. The chicken soup, which should be a Cuban staple, is surprisingly mediocre, and overall the larger entrées just don't stand out. The experience was top-notch. We started with some Spanish croquettes--crispy, creamy, and seasoned just right. Three of us had a lobster bisque-style soup that was on another level: rich, smooth, and packed with flavor. I had a fresh, simple salad, and one of the teens ordered a churrasco that was grilled perfectly. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo, and let me tell you--it was outstanding. Creamy, flavorful, and done to perfection. She's picky when it comes to pasta, and this one got her seal of approval. The bread they brought out was warm and fresh--one of those little details that sets a place apart. We enjoyed a great red wine recommended by our server, and it paired beautifully with the meal. The service overall was very good--polite and attentive--and they even sang Happy Birthday for the guest of honor, which made the night even more special. Desserts? Yes, we went all in. We shared a tiramisu, a crème brûlée, and another dessert with ice cream that I couldn't quite name, but it was ridiculously good. Everything was plated nicely, tasted homemade, and gave the meal a sweet, classy finish. The only real critique was the clearing of plates. They were clearly understaffed, and at times, our used dishes stayed on the table longer than they should have. In one instance, the next course came out before the table was cleared. Not the end of the world, but worth noting. On the way to the restroom, I caught a glimpse of the kitchen--it was spotless and organized. That says a lot. Yes, the prices are on the higher end, but it's absolutely justified. This place is one of those Miami culinary gems that gets it right. We'll definitely be back.
