After searching around and looking at dozens of pizza places, all of which looked terrible, we settled on trying montecatini as it looked pretty authentic and legitimate. And boy.... Were we pleasantly surprised. Service was fantastic, order was quick, and quality and taste were fresh and fantastic. 100% exceeded our expectations for pizza in Florida and we would absolutely order from them again. Went back again to my neighborhood Italian Cuban fusion restaurant. Nice decor and good space. They did a great job with the outside Terrace. It's actually enclosed and you can actually sit there normally now. Good appetizer selections they have a few glasses by of wine by the glass and a good selection of bottles. You can order also some cocktails too. We ordered the bruschetta, which is very good properly done and also we ordered the garbanzo beans with the chorizo, which was amazing. I ordered the fettuccine pasta with fungi and I added chicken and it was a great portion and it was delicious. It also had a hint of truffle in it My wife ordered the risotto with chicken also on it portions of chicken or not sliced, but they were plenty. The risotto was not as much as I expected, but it was very tasty. The only complain I have is that it was not hot. It was warm. My food was very hot and very delicious. Service is good. I think our lady was overwhelmed with the table that was large, but she still pulled through and gave us good. Service management is visible and very attentive. Montecatini has definitely become one of my go to spots. Food is delicious, they have a pretty extensive menu combining Italian and Cuban food which is amazing. Service is great, staff is friendly and helpful, and I would describe the ambience as very calm, specially if you choose to sit outside in the terrace area, is so much more quieter and relaxing than inside. Presentation, service and flavors!! this place is truly a local hidden gem. You can find a little bit of everything on this menu that will appease even the pickiest of eaters. We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday since my mother is a big seafood lover and I on the other hand, a big pasta lover! I loved that you could find Italian, Spanish and Cuban food all on menu, definitely a spot you can bring people from out of town that want to try a bit of local cuisine. What we ordered: Arugula prosciutto salad: had a lemon dressing that was perfectly balanced with the salty prosciutto. Shrimp stuffed Tostones: came cooked in a red sauce gave notes of creole seasoning, very delicious! Seafood Paella: came with large meaty shrimp, calamari and clams. Tasted very fresh and totally worth it. Fettuccine mushroom and truffle pasta: was deliciously creamy and cheesy, came with lots of mushroom! Lasagna: cheesy, ooey gooey goodness! The lasagna was cooked to a perfect temperature. The cheese pull was real! Crème brûlée: so good! Not too sweet and had the perfect torched crust. We went to the restaurant today for lunch (pre mother's day) and while the entrance of the restaurant was nicely decorated, the food did not live up to the expectations and price. Let's start with appetizers, the croquettes were great 10/10 and the plantain chips with cheese and chorizo were also good 7/10, however, from appetizers to actual main course it took about 1 hour for food to arrive. The pasta cooked on the parmesan wheel is the best thing in the menu 8/10, in my opinion. Unfortunately, we only ordered one of those and our party of 7 was more into risotto which was a total disappointment. The risotto with shrimp was a total disaster 0/10, the shrimp looked like the cooked shrimp wheel from Publix, no seasoning, farm raised and boiled on the side of a risotto that was about half a cup of cold rice. We ordered 3 of those and felt totally robbed. The black risotto was a bit better 6/10 but also cold. The seafood risotto was a 6/10 also cold. The dessert that hit the spot was the 3 leches 10/10. The balloons on the chairs flipping to one's head every time the door opened was also a total failure that made the experience not an enjoyable one. Then let's talk about the restaurant ceiling, which we ended up looking at since we had to wait almost 1 hour for our main course to arrive, the vents are nasty, you can see the accumulation of dust on the vents and the wood on the ceiling. Luckily we were seating on the area to the side of where the vents are, if not, it would have been totally disgusting to seat under that area to eat. We spent over $400 for a party of 7, 3 appetizers, 7 main course and 4 desserts. Overall I think the place is heavily overpriced given the mediocre quality of the food and it needs urgent attention to the cleaning of the ceiling. read more

Beautifully decorated restaurant with an inviting ambiance. Coming in on a Thursday night, we were seated right away and given bread. The menu is huge and only written in Spanish. The online menu is in English. My son ordered a cheese pizza and I ordered the chicken in garlic sauce. We ordered a tres leches for dessert. The food was great and we will definitely come back to try other foods on the menu. The tres leches was not as good in our opinion. It looked amazing but the burnt merengue had a granular texture that we did not enjoy. Overall, a great place to eat in a relaxing and beautiful setting. read more

We were seated right away which was unexpected for being a Saturday night. The server was very attentive and friendly. All of the food was served quick and very hot, which I like. We weren't offered shredded cheese for our meals, which usually gets offered at other places and red pepper flakes was not offered when asking for spice. The price for the bottle of wine charge is 3 times the amount of the actual price of the bottle. All of the food ordered tasted really good and the portions were generous. I went to dinner with my mom and nephew. This was the second visit as I remembered how good my meal was the first time (about a year ago). This time it was not as good, which was very disappointing. I had the pasta carbonara, my nephew chicken Alfredo and my mom paella. Mom loved her Paella but the pastas were not that good. The sauce was very watery and it just lacked flavor. Not sure what happened that day, but it was not even closed to my first visit. We had the ham croquetas to start and finished with the Tiramisu. Both things were great. The seafood paella looked amazing, but the seafood did not taste fresh. It was also runny. The dye of the food coloring stains your hands. The service was good. The restaurant was clean, although they have plates and glasses on the tables that they leave out. This means that it is collecting dust. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with my entre yesterday. I ordered Vaca Frita. The meat was very tough and lacked seasoning. It tasted as though the person who cooked had no idea how its supposed to be cooked and taste ! My cousin had requested some extra garlic sauce for her shrimp ajillo because it lacked sauce. I wound up pouring some of the additional ajillo on my meat. Have to say...... the mashed potatoes were very good. I wound up leaving most of the meat and took it home for my husband. We arrived as a group of 4 with a child at around 6pm. There were some available tables inside and some outside. The outside tables are set up in parking spots so I wouldn't recommend choosing to sit outside. Also, keep in mind the indoor tables are packed like sardines. I had to ask our waiter to separate our tables from the one behind me since I kept getting pushed by the man sitting in back of me. It was a very uncomfortable situation. I would recommend taking out tables if guests are not going to be comfortable. We started with the octopus appetizer that was okay, it was very chewy. The fried cheese balls were good. I ordered the lobster soup that did not come out hot, instead it was warm, not the best. The sandwich I ordered was also not very hot and the bread was extremely hard to eat, I could only eat half and I had to take off the top bread in order to do so. Based on my experience I would give it a lower rating but since my husband's dish was really good and we all liked it I decided to give it a 3. He ordered ossobucco and it really did taste good. I wonder if I just chose all the wrong things. They did have a fun bday celebration which is what we were there for. But the desserts did not wow me either. We got the passion fruit one and it did not have the right consistency to it. The creme brûlée was ok. It is sad to say, I will not be coming back to this location. On our way to another restaurant, we saw Montecatini and decided to give it a try. And it was amazing! As soon as you enter, you are greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff, the drinks were great, and the food was delicious authentic Italian. Our server Jessy was great and we learned it was only her second day on the job, yet she was very knowledgeable about all of the menu and drink items. The ambiance and service were outstanding. It's not a bad restaurant whatsoever. The scenery is beautiful and I think the service is great. However I think the food isn't satisfying enough for the prices they have. My wife had a $60 steak that BARELY had any kind of taste on it. I had their pepperoni pizza which tastes isn't bad but it was very greasy. Again. I think it's a good restaurant I just think they should lower the prices a bit more. I'd rather pay for yummy food than to pay for a nice scenery. read more

Sunday 2/15/26 around 4:30pm me and my wife went to this place to eat something, with us was my wife service dog a 5 pounds toy poodle in a dog carry pouch. upon enter we were approached by the host that told us that the dog was not allowed to be inside the place. i explained him that she is a service dog, so he requested (against ADA law) the dog ID that was showed to him and even do he was putting conditions/ obstructions to allow us to enter the place. We even ask for a table outside the terrace or in a corner of the place, but his last answer was the only way that you can enter is if the dog is tie below the dining table and must be quiet. We refuse and leaved because at the end we can spend our $$ any were where the laws are respected/comply. This is our first incident, and we have been in Georgia/ Tennessee/ N. Carolina/S. This was our second time visiting Montecatini Restaurant. We loved everything about this restaurant. The service and food are outstanding. The ambiance is very inviting and the space is beautiful. Our food was incredible. I recommend their pizza, the crust is light and absolutely exquisite. My dad had the lamb chops and he loved them.
