Pilon Miami doesn't welcome you--it pulls you in. The buzz of conversation, the low hum of Latin beats, and the smell of something seared to perfection hit you all at once. It's not trying to be trendy. It is the trend--and then some. We kicked things off with the bruschetta--but not your basic tomato-on-toast affair. This one came draped in brie, sprinkled with toasted almonds, and finished with a whisper of honey. Sweet, savory, crunchy, creamy--it was a damn masterpiece on a plank of bread. Then came the Ribeye Concepto, a sizzling slab of Certified Angus heaven served on a hot skillet like it had its own entrance music. The mushroom and shallot sauce didn't overpower--it elevated. Every bite melted down to a buttery finish that made me forget my name. That purée? Silky, earthy, perfect. A side dish that understood the assignment. The ambiance is stylish without trying. Clean lines, thoughtful lighting, and a vibe that says "stay a while." It's the kind of place where a date night turns into a memory--or a second bottle of wine. You decide. Service? Flawless. I wish I had the server's name because they nailed that fine line between attentive and overbearing. Water refilled before I noticed it was low, menu questions answered like a sommelier explaining a rare vintage, and genuine warmth that didn't feel like a script. And let's talk about the specials. These people know how to keep things interesting--weekly events, happy hour that actually makes you happy, and a rotating menu that invites regulars without getting stale. Pilon's not just running a restaurant; they're building a scene. This place isn't hype--it's real. Go hungry. Go curious. Just go.

Ribeye in Mushroom and Champagne Sauce (Delicious)

Well apparently Pilón Miami has been open for about a year and a half and we finally made our way over to it to check it out last night. Truthfully our cousin picked it out as she heard they play live music on Friday's and Saturday's and the ladies were feeling like a little dinner and dancing and dance we certainly did. The music was very good and was a great mix of American and Spanish music that definitely got everyone moving. The artist was a one person show but with the awesome equipment she was using she sounded awesome. So once we arrived, we were quickly seated and working a few minutes, the drinks were rolling. Classic Smoked Old Fashioned's and Red and White wine were on the itinerary. Drinks were very good but top shelf liquor is limited but nonetheless the drinks were good. So after some recommendations from our server, we dove in to some Codfish, Ibérico Ham and Cheese croquettes and some Bacon wrapped Dates which were both amazing, so much so we put in a second order. The bacon wrapped dates were my favorite and are a must if you like a sweet and salty flavor on the palette. We also had the Burrata Mozzarella with Sauteed Broccoli and Cherry Tomatoes in a balsamic reduction sauce which was also very good. For dinner we went with the 14oz Ribeye steak with a mushroom and champagne sauce and a side of puree of Malanga and Casava that was creamy and delicious. We also went with the Glazed Salmon dish which was also fresh and delicious as well. Rounding the corner we finished off our dinner with some obligatory Cuban coffee and Cappuccino's which were hot and tasty as well. Overall I have to say we really enjoyed Pilón Miami and to be honest it was more than what I was expecting which is always good. Would not do it justice if I did not mention that our servers were great and really did everything to make sure we had a great time. Restaurant is located in a brand new shopping mall which was interesting as well. Looks like food trucks are in full force at the location as well as we counted at least seven (7) food trucks spread all over the property. Everything from Tacos to Greek food and freshly made desserts as well if you want to try one on your way out. Parking should not be a problem at all as their was plenty of it. Overall we really had a great time at Pilón Miami, so if you want to try something relatively new you may want to give them a shot. Enjoy and Bon Appétit mes amis!

Food was good overall! You can tell the spot is new, tying very hard to be trendy but looks really cute! Turns into a lounge in the evening but we went for an early dinner with our toddler. Ambiance was fine at that time and they do have a kids menu meaning kids are welcome for lunch and dinner. Not for lounge of course. They had a mashed yuca (they called it cazaba instead of yuca or casava) and it was good! We enjoyed.

Very nice place to have dinner. Happy hour menu is great the Datile was a good starter. Mora drink was really good I ordered another. The food was amazing tried salmon and ribeye. I would like to come back for their brunch which is typical dishes from different Latin countries. Service was excellent they even sang happy birthday for us.

Good food and service. I wouldn't call it luxury, because of the furniture quality and limited wine selections. But it is a premium experience, with very good service. There is a live Latino 2 person band that plays on Saturday nights after 9:30pm. I'd say the vibe is more for an older crowd 50s-60s for the music. I'd like to have heard some more current music. But overall, the good presentation was excellent. Taste was very good. We would go again for sure. Great job chef! ‍

Appetizer apricots. Super tasty. - Bacon-wrapped dates topped with microgreens are presented on a textured, dark-colored plate with a creamy white sauce.

Food was delicious, absolutely on point and it didn't take long. The service was friendly. I missed the printed menus as thy only have electronic ones. I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday (83) of my friend and nothing from the staff. The food made up for the lack of personal touch. We will be back!

This place is a hidden gem in West Kendall. My husband and I had date night here after dropping off the kids at parents night out nearby. This place is beautifully decorated and has vibe which does not make you feel like you are in West Kendall. The decor is beautiful and the vibe is very nice. The decor is tropical chic. The restaurant has a very nice vibe for a date and even a group! The cocktail I had was delicious and the food is Latin fusion and the plates are served very nicely. The service was actually fantastic. They had so much attention to detail which made it a very nice experience. Definitely a place to check out.

Oh my goodness! People are sleeping on this place! I went in on a Friday evening and there was a soccer game going on so we couldn't sit at the bar but were seated right away at a table. The drinks were absolutely spectacular and the service was superb! The server was so attentive to our needs. Before I could order another drink she was already asking if I wanted another one. It was a little noisy with the soccer game but once that ended it was pleasantly quiet. There was also live music that started around 8pm which I absolutely loved! The dates were incredible. I'm used to having dates wrapped in bacon but this was stuffed with a sausage similar to chorizo and it came with a bleu cheese sauce which was a great pairing. The ceviche was so fresh and came in a sauce that was so good you'd want to drink from the plate. The picada was great for sharing, we couldn't even finish it. If you love guava like I do you'll love the cheesecake crème brûlée with guava. I'm honestly in shock that it wasn't packed for a Friday night. I will definitely be coming back especially knowing they have happy hour from 4pm from 7pm!

The parking is easy. The size of the restaurant is great, roomy. Very clean. The flavors of the combinations are a bit contradicting for what I ordered. Pleassant experience. Nice, friendly staff.

Awesome time at Pilon!! Atmosphere was great! Live music and pleasant ambiance. Food was amazing and service was great. Definitely recommend for a date night or celebration. Not recommended if wanting to have conversation, it can be quite loud, unless you sit outside.

The food was amazing, the servers were very attentive and they tried to help us and make sure we got everything we needed. The inside of the restaurant is a bit loud, but I appreciate the events that they throw. They are very welcoming and they invite all guests to join and have fun!

Lentil soup - very small for the price but delicious

My fiance and I decided to try this new place by our house and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious! There are many unique dishes with that Latin American flavor that we all love (especially me!). I highly recommend the Rollo de platano. We ordered a second one because of how delicious it was! The ravioli with tomato sauce were good, but nothing crazy special about it - but sometimes a nice simple dish is what we need here and there. The casuela de Cameron my fiance ordered was out of this world, so definitely a must try! The drinks were also very delicious and unique. But I think what took our experience to the top was that the manager, Marvin, was assisting us. He really went above and beyond in explaining the dishes, his recommendations, and making sure we liked everything. Everytime he brought a dish or drink to our table he would say to let him know if we liked it or he would change it for something else. This is one of the few restaurants that really care about their customers leaving happy and satisfied. Thank you, Marvin. We will be back for sure!

Zero greeting, zero eye contact. We waited almost 10 minutes just to get acknowledged while he was chatting with another customers at the other end of the bar. When he finally took our order, he barely listened. I asked for a classic Old Fashioned and he brought me something that tasted like watered-down whiskey with too much bitters and a random orange slice thrown in. My friend's whiskey sour was unbalanced -- definitely not worth the $18 price tag. I politely mentioned to recommend us another drinks options he just shrugged and said "we don't have that" Not offer another choice or an apology. The drinks were mediocre at best, but his attitude made it worse. He ignored us most of the night and acted annoyed every time we ordered. Zero professionalism. The place has a great vibe but with service like this, is not worth to spend almost $200 dollars there for few drinks. I don't remember his name but he was tall, Latin and maybe from Colombia. We just wanted to report his behavior to management but in a Saturday's night you just don't want to ruined more. Next.

So, let's get into it: I don't know about you, but the one thing I do not enjoy doing is driving and circling around, being lost, just to find an establishment. So, I love that this restaurant is so easy to find with good signage, lots of nearby parking, both street and lots. Anywho, once I parked, the manager Judd was so friendly and kind and directed me to the table where my friend was seated. He overheard that I was kind of speaking loud over the music when I barely had a voice due to losing it from another event, so he kindly turned down the music for us. Once there, service was quick and attentive. I got a Fresh Paloma for my drink and the Seared Salmon for dinner. The drink was a good size and tasted good, no complaints there. As for the dinner, WOW. This was delicious, I would get this again. The flavors were there and the portions were just perfect (not too much and not too little, I usually never get enough or leave with leftovers). Also, not overpriced for Miami in my opinion. Aside from that, I did try some of my friend's off-menu pasta and it was really yummy. Furthermore, they have great weekly specials: (Note, subject to change.
