I love the idea of this chic, Latin-American, fusion restaurant near our home and all things considered I will definitely be going back. We went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy but either way the venue was nicely decorated, we love that they offer live music and brunch although we haven't experienced it yet, the food was very good and came out at a perfect temperature each time. Some negatives (not deal-breakers), were that the server didn't know how to open our wine bottle and unfortunately I was very off-put by the bathroom decoration choice We agreed that for such a nice venue the bathroom decor was pretty tacky. The ham croquetas were amazing, the dates were delicious but overwhelmingly sweet; Maybe a little bit more of the bleu cheese sauce could have helped. The wine was also a great choice. Almost forgot to mention that the prices were very fair. I'm also a music person therefore I believe they should keep to the vibe of their venue/food; Maybe some softer Latin American music...NOT REGETÓN but definitely spansish. read more

Starting with the appetizers, we tried the maduritos, and the flavor of the meat inside was a knockout. Our only wish was that the portions were a bit more generous because we couldn't get enough. When it came to the entrees, we ordered the numero #8 pizza, and it was a cheese lover's dream come true. The pizza was incredibly cheesy and perfectly seasoned, making it a must-have for our future visits. Even those of us who aren't big fans of blue cheese were pleasantly surprised by how it all came together. The entrana was a work of art, cooked to perfection and so tantalizing that we couldn't resist taking more bites. As for the hamburgesa pilon, it was bursting with flavor, thanks to the juicy meat and the delectable cheese. The house potato fries that came with the burger were some of the best we've ever had--thick, crispy, and downright addictive. I came to this restaurant for a birthday dinner and wow! The service was impeccable and servers were so friendly. The interior is a beautiful modern vibe. They have an amazing happy hour. We started with La Chile-drinks similar to a spicy margarita. It was delicious! We enjoyed the Cazabitas- cassava bites filled with cheese. They were an absolute delight! We ordered the margarita pizza from regular menu and it did not disappoint. We pretty much had most of the appetizers. All were tasty and presentation on point. Wonderful music, beautiful decor. The management is genuinely pleasant. Now the food: bacon wrapped dates in a blue cheese sauce- DELICIOUS! My family ordered a variety: grilled octopus with roasted potatoes, not hard or chewy. Potatoes had their own flavor not blended flavor of the octopus. The ribeye in mushroom sauce was very good, not dense and cooked just right. The best one we agreed was the shrimp (cazuela de camarón) great sauce and perfectly cooked shrimp. First time visiting this restaurant and left with a bitter taste. I'll be sharing our personal experience. We walked in and I was impressed by the decor. There was only one party there. It was around 5 pm. At first I was worried but figured we would give it a shot. The happy hour menu was offered so we tried ordering 4 croquetas of the same flavor. The server wasn't sure he could do that so he went to ask... after a few minutes he came back and said yes. Once we were done ordering the whole meal he came back and said we couldn't get the croquetas of the same flavor. The person in charge didn't care we weren't satisfied so I canceled the order of croquetas. This is a fairly new restaurant and won't budge. They rather us cancel the order. Food was good but I don't think we would be back. It's nice looking but they aren't a Michelin star restaurant to be so strict and in a strip mall. Good luck. read more

Where do I start and where do I end. I took my Mom and her Aid to lunch and both of them ended-up with DIARREAH. I specially, & specifically, told the Waitress that I wanted a HOT steaming Latte & asked CLEAR & PRECISE questions about the Ham Croquettes: UNDERCOOKED, 90% flour, watery, insipid, & ham looked like chopped tiny pieces of spam- NASTY!!! The was dried and the so-called Brioche bread was cracking on the top [indication of stale bread]. I was told they were French fries-WRONG big difference between French fries and twisted POTATO fries. The Yuca Croquettes were also undercooked. I cannot believe that any positive ratings at this place are real; the group picture seema like it was a company luncheon. I asked the employees of the business I visited near and was told: "You should have asked us before going to the restaurant, poor quality food. The Manager [black bearded guy] pacing in the middle of the restaurant on a personal call going on-and-on; take-it to the back-'Totally unprofessional!!! He knew of the problem, and never came over. Any reviews above 1 star, have to be 100% fake. If this place doesn't close within a year; is a tax write-off or money laundering business. I also found out they have a big employee turnover. I should have taken pictures of the HORRIBLE food: $45.00 wasted. If anyone doesn't believe my ratings or think differently or any reason thereoff, try it for yourself and if you find that is half-way decent, good, or great, than truthfully, you must be comparing-it to a lower quality food restaurant; a dump. In the future, I will not eat the any crap a restaurant serves & leave. If this was a rare incident, we will see owner's reply & what she or him will write. No soy de discutir mucho y mientras mi pareja pudiera ver desde su lugar el show yo estaria bien. Lo otro es que estamos es USA y aqui se respeta el tiempo de las personas. El show estaba pautado a las 10:00 pm y empezo a las 11:30 pm! eso es inaceptable y varias personas a mi alrededor expresaron lo mismo. Lamentablement somos una cultura que no respeta o mejor dicho no tiene conciencia de que era un "concierto" para disfrutar y habian grupos que tenian su propia fiesta y no dejaban escuchar las canciones de una forma adecuada. No aguente el ambiente y termine retirandome muy decepcionado a los pocos minutos de empezar el concierto. Ojala la administracion tome esto en cuenta para sus proximas actividades. The food was ok. The service was a little slow considering we were, literally, the only ones there... We were a party of four. They brought two of the main dishes, after another 5 to 10 minutes, the brought another one, and after another 5 to 10 minutes brought the final one... Expect to get hit with, according to them, a 20% state legally mandatory tip charge. You have no choice as the system does it automatically and they cannot change it.... only ADD more tip.. . I wonder if the mandatory charge is because the service may not be good at all or is it because they are DECEIVING people with the actual prices in the menu... Also, after i paid and sign for a SPECIFIC amount, the system adds another 3% for using a credit card... which I noticed after i signed and the machine flashes another amount at the end with out telling you... when asked, the waiter stated he had no idea and had to go ask somebody else why i was signing one amount and the system charging another one.... if it wasn't for the HIDDEN FEES and the small letters tactics they are using this could be a pleasant place to eat........ read more

Strange that such fine cuisine did not have such a larger crowd. The space is big and can host large crowds but I it's missing some sort of intimacy. The windows are exposed to the parking lot reminding me that we are in a shopping center. A shame that such a simple design decision can really set or unset the mood to such delicious food. Everything we ate was delicious. We had the plantains stuffed with beef and a pizza. Everything on the menu looked great but my personal favorite was the tomato soup. It was absolutely cooked to perfection and I really enjoyed the fresh pieces of tomatoes inside the soup. The service was excellent too. My biggest advice is work on the design and layout to make it warm and welcoming. The dishes don't match the decor. Personalize it, make it unique, make it yours. Give it a story. I'm sure people will feel welcomed and want to come back. It's just too cold and white for the warm and yummy food it serves. read more

Great quality toppings, but just didn't get cooked well, bottom was soggy and worse towards the pizza center. To their credit they wanted to remake everything, but we were on a tight schedule to fly out. was passing by this establishment with 3 of my friends, just coming from a different restaurant. We went in together a round of drinks. We ordered three lemon drop shots, not four, as one of the girls did not want a shot. The bartender still brong is 4 shots and said he did not want the fourth girl to feel left out. He charged us for the four shots, and when we approached him about it, he stated it wasn't on the house because the girl went for it and drank it. So he provided an extra item that we did not order, made it seem like it was on the house, and then charged for it. The tab for the four shots came out to $100 without tip. The whole experience was excessive, disappointing, and criminal. The place was dead and completely empty. We went in to support the small business and ended up getting overcharged and tricked into item purchases. This will be the last time I support this establishment. read more
