Sapore di Mare has been our go to for the classic roman pastas for a while. They have been very accommodating each time and the service has been impeccable. I was unable to give them a 5 because my carbonara was way too salty the last time we dined with them. I consider this place amongst the top Italian restaurants in Miami, so I definitely recommend a visit. The customer service is excellent and so is the wine.

This cute, cozy restaurant was recommended to me and I was excited to try. As we were walking up, the server opened the door for us, we were greeted with a smile by another staff member and drinks and food were prompt. First we began with the focaccia, freshly made, soft and delicious. For apps, We ordered fried calamari, clams and oysters in red sauce and Branzino carpaccio but I must say I was disappointed by all 3. They lacked flavor, and honestly didn't enjoy them at all. However, I did love the risotto I had as my entree. I brought the leftovers home so you know it was good. I definitely recommend this dish.

We stopped in the Grove and wanted some area food. This came up first on Yelp and was only a block and a half away so that's where we went. We were so happy that we decided to stop here. It is small and quaint with great atmosphere and the food is amazing! We came during off hours so there were only a few other guests and our service was impeccable. I'm sure that even during the busy settings that the service level stays quite high. We are looking forward to returning the next time we visiting.

It had been a few years since our last visit to Sapore di Mare, but wow--this hidden gem reminded us exactly why we loved it in the first place. We came in for a late lunch/early dinner and were seated right away in the charming back area. The restaurant truly feels like a cozy little escape--you'd never guess you were in Coconut Grove; it feels like you've been transported to the Amalfi Coast. Our waitress was fantastic and went above and beyond to help me find something that worked with my plant-based diet. Her recommendation was spot on--absolutely delicious! Meanwhile, my family couldn't stop raving about their dishes. The mussels appetizer and warm focaccia bread were a huge hit--the sauce alone was outrageous (perfect for dipping). I had the eggplant pasta, which was packed with flavor, my husband devoured his ravioli, my oldest loved her shrimp pasta, and the little one was perfectly happy with her buttered noodles. Everything felt so fresh, authentic, and made with care. Sapore di Mare proves you don't need a big flashy space to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. We'll definitely be back sooner this time--highly recommend!

tagliolini sapore di mare, caccio e pepe, branzino

the food was out of this world. they do a great job staying true to their italian roots. favorite dishes were the signature tagliolini sapore di mare, the dinner rolls, and the branzino. the caccio e pepe was also a standout dish with it being prepared tableside in a cheese wheel (not on the menu). the ambiance is quaint and pleasant, but we went on a night that was not particularly hot (in november), but the inside seating in the back resembles closer an outside seating and because there is no opening for a breeze, it was pretty stuffy. also the service fell short in that we needed to flag our server down to clear our dinner plates, to bring a dessert menu, and to bring the check (all with ~20 minute waits in between). these items unfortunately knocked a star for me.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in miami! I always visit when I need an authentic Italian meal. I have been multiple times and I can't get enough! The food is delicious! The ambience is very cozy and you feel like you are in Italy. Each time that I have been here I have been treated excellent with prompt service and a great experience overall. My wife loved her lobster ravioli and she gets it every time. My favorite dish is the cacio e Pepe out of the cheese wheel. The whole family loved the table side display, but we enjoyed eating it more! For kids there is not much space for a stroller to fit but There are high chairs. Kids enjoyed their mac and cheese thoroughly. Totally recommend for a date night or a night out with the family. We will be back for sure

Delicious food, great service in a homey environment. We started a refreshing spritz, then the complimentary bread arrived. It tasted homemade. For starters we ordered some calamari with shrimp, they were so fresh. Then we had a special focaccia bread which was amazing. I shared a lobster ravioli with my son which was so juicy and delicious. My husband had a pasta with seafood which he loved and my friend had another pasta with oysters that she said was on point. We had a great evening and definitely finish the night right with the dessert. We'll be back when around the area and craving good Italian food done right.

Pasta was just what I needed! It was the perfect night-- sitting outside and rig by some live music in the town. Quick service with extremely nice staff. But the pasta was the star of the show! Did not get seafood pasta despite the name but the meat pastas were fabulous.

Great food amazing atmosphere and excellent service all round a lovely meal. Highly recommend to travelers and locals.

Cacio E Pepe con Tartufo X Cacio E Pepe

I'm going to be so honest, the Cacio e Pepe which is the cheese block one was absolutely disgusting, not only are the prices extremely high, but they did the entire "no bread" spill and charged us for focaccia without telling us. Back to the Cacio e Pepe, tasted like nail polish remover and smelt of it, didn't even take a box to take it home it was horrible and the manager kept trying to sit us in a plaza parking lot it was genuinely the most disturbing experience I've had, I wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy.

We got lucky and the hostess actually seated us almost right away. The staff is amazing and friendly. Usually on big holidays restaurants in Miami are short staffed and service always suffers. Osteria's energy was warm and beyond welcoming. We ordered the calamari again and it was wonderfully crispy. For our Entrees we had the steak with a side of asparagus and pappardelle ossobuco. Steak was perfectly seasoned. The veal pasta sauce was out of this world. Honestly I think stopping by Osteria might be our Christmas Eve tradition from now on. I couldn't have had a better Christmas Eve with my family.

An opulent failed attempt at fine dining…read more At first glance, the place is impressive -- beautiful cars outside, constant traffic of guests walking in, crisp white tablecloths setting the stage for what appears to be a refined dining experience. Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.

We ordered the Valentina and King Bee cocktails to start and they came out delicious! Highly recommend. For entrees we ordered the fettuccine bolognese and the short rib tortellini. We joined the clean plate club with both of these dishes and didn't leave a crumb. For desert we had the espresso martinis tiramisu and once again cleaned the plate. Safe to say the dishwashers were fans of us. The service was impeccable. Food and drinks came out quick, waters were refilled promptly, and our server Alessandro made sure we were taken care of. This is a great date night spot and I would definitely put this place on your radar when in the Brickell area.

We tried the veal meatballs and fried calamari with artichoke. The veal meatballs did not hold together and were mushy. There were two tiny meatballs for $12. The fried calamari was very good but had more artichoke than calamari. Expected more calamari for the price. We don't mind paying for high quality food but they missed the mark with these dishes. Also, the portions were ridiculously tiny for the price you paid. Not a good value and neither dish was memorable. I'm very sorry that I forgot to take pictures of the dishes. On a positive note the service was top notch. Our bartender was professional and friendly.
