If I was basing this just on the food it might be a little bit higher rating, but the overall experience made the food experience not good either. We were trying to find something near our hotel. We realize that many people speak Spanish in Miami, but most at least speak some English and are welcoming to tourists. This did not seem to be the case here. I speak some general Spanish but the waitress didn't even ask just treated us poorly from the start. When we walked in the waitress kind of rolled her eyes, sighed and then sat us. We then waited for a good 10-15 minutes for her to even come to the table, there were two other groups that were done eating and just chatting so she wasn't helping anyone else. We didn't even have any drinks at this point, but she wanted our whole order, so we ordered wine, water and our entrees. It took probably another five minutes for her to bring the wine and water and bread. We didn't even get to eat any of the bread before the entrees came. I got the mushroom truffle fettuccine special and my mom got the butternut squash ravioli. Mine was good, but it wasn't fettuccini it was 100% pappardelle pasta. My mom's was also good but not a huge portion. The pasta was very fresh as you could see it being made with when you walked in. I've been coming to this place for a few months now , it's in my way to work and I've never seen it before , one day I decided to stop and I was very impressed. The food is incredible so is the service. Everyone is very attentive and professional this place is a little hidden gem. The food were generously portioned , started with bread, then we ordered their calamari which was cooked to perfection, tentacles included which I liked. It was crispy. My son order the spaghetti and I ordered the tris pasta which came with carbonara, chicken tortellini and lasagna.everything was good and the set up of the place was very intimate. There's a single red rose on the table on white linen so it popped out. It's a fairly smaller place with only maybe 6-8 tables. Service was good, our server checked up on us pretty regularly. I've been here twice now and the food is very good! The only concern I have is that the staff may not be very informed on allergies. I ordered the gluten free pasta with chicken. Luckily I noticed that when the dish arrived the chicken seemed to be dusted in flour. I asked the server and she told me all of their chicken has flour. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't noticed by the server or the cooks that a gluten free dish was being prepared with flour and I'm glad I noticed before I ate it. We had dinner here tonight and lucky us! We called to see if the restaurant was still serving because they were closing in about 1/2 hour and they welcomed us with open arms and excellent service. My boyfriend and I were there yesterday. We had Carbonara and Linguine with Clams. I did not eat any of the Carbonara, however my boyfriend did and now he is in the hospital with over 20 vomits in one night and stomach cramps.  Turns out it was food poisoning and had an E.Coli contamination. I wonder if the meat was contaminated and since I did not have any, I did not get infected.  We have come here a few times and usually enjoy the food, but how sad that this happened. Driving down 57th ave and this little spot caught my eye...after looking it up on Yelp, I had to try it! We went to Amor di Pasta on a Tuesday for dinner. Small parking lot, but we easily found plenty of spaces available. We walked in and I was already so happy by seeing that they have a selection of Italian products for sale! We walked through the hallway to the back where the dining room is located; it is so cute! The decor and ambiance was really well thought out. There was soft music playing that went perfectly with the feel of the place. So very cute. Our server let us know that all the pasta is made in house and everything cooked fresh. Making a decision was so difficult, everything on the menu seemed delicious. I finally went with the butter sage ravioli, and my boyfriend ordered the spaghetti carbonara. While we waited, we were brought bread. I love that they served a variety of breads -- it was so nice being able to try different types of breads that were all so delicious. Came here the second night of a business trip because they had penne arrabiata on the menu, and it did not disappoint. I ordered rosemary focaccia, which came with a little double-pitcher of olive oil and balsamic, where one sat inside the other with spouts on either side. The bread was delicious, especially dipped in oil and pepper. The penne arrabiata was perfect. Thick, substantial penne, cooked correctly. The arrabiata was only a little spicy, but extremely rich and delicious. The bowl was large, and as I ate, the pasta would slide down into the bowl, creating a never-ending-pasta-dimension of yumminess. If you find yourself in Miami and decide you want Italian, this is the place to go. I wish I had thought to take a picture, but I was completely caught up in my meal. It was that good. read more

Well I guess you're wondering how I ended up here? Well let me tell you. We well flew into Miami for our connecting flight to Barbados. After a number of days the flight go postponed to the next day. Needless to say our party was pretty upset, well more pissed/ frustrated then anything. So we found an hotel nearby and were trying to think how we were not going to lose it. We were able to make a reservation for an early dinner and were quickly seated upon arrival. Our waiter was very helpful and able to go over the menu and specials with us. He then brought out water and bread. Let me tell you this bread was amazing. Easily top 3 bread I have ever had at a restaurant. So after going over the menu I was having a hard time. There were so many food options that sounded amazing so I had to ask the waiter what to go with from the options I was considering. He told me the way to go was the Gnocchi Gorgonzola and Speck which is Smoked Italian ham, blue cheese. When this dish arrived it looked amazing. I quickly got into it and OMG it was amazing. I did think at first that maybe I wasn't going to be enough but after eating half and realizing how rich it was I ended up having a hard time finishing it but I wasn't about to let any of it go to waste. Easily one of the best Gnocchi dishes I have ever had it was so fresh and all clearly made in house. Came back to this place for another fair try. This time my husband ordered Spaghetti Carbonara and I was not very hungry so he ordered me a side dish of Spaghetti with tomato sauce. We have ordered this way before because I am not able to each much and I do not like to take food leftovers. To my shock the server acted nervous and said she would have to ask the owner if it was okay to sell only a side (from the menu) in addition to my husband's dish. The owner said "no" and even though the restaurant was empty they would not sell us only a side or half an order of spaghetti. This seemed unfair and inflexible and I refused to order a plate of food that I was going to leave mostly uneaten. Will not return. If I could give 0 stars I would, I ordered food for my family through Uber Eats and I went out. I got texts asking why their bread looked eaten and the pasta was missing a meatball (literally had a hole where the meatball was so somebody took/ate it). I don't have a picture of the pasta but I have this picture of the bread. This is disgusting and unsanitary. Pretty sure you could get fined for this. I've ordered from here 2 times and their food always arrives wrong. Last time the pizza was cold and I live 2 minutes away... Maybe when you sit in the restaurant they actually put effort but they give 0 sh*ts about delivery orders and eat your food!!!
