I think this is what my food was supposed to look like
Alysha W.

If I was basing this just on the food it might be a little bit higher rating, but the overall experience made the food experience not good either. We were trying to find something near our hotel. We realize that many people speak Spanish in Miami, but most at least speak some English and are welcoming to tourists. This did not seem to be the case here. I speak some general Spanish but the waitress didn't even ask just treated us poorly from the start. When we walked in the waitress kind of rolled her eyes, sighed and then sat us. We then waited for a good 10-15 minutes for her to even come to the table, there were two other groups that were done eating and just chatting so she wasn't helping anyone else. We didn't even have any drinks at this point, but she wanted our whole order, so we ordered wine, water and our entrees. It took probably another five minutes for her to bring the wine and water and bread. We didn't even get to eat any of the bread before the entrees came. I got the mushroom truffle fettuccine special and my mom got the butternut squash ravioli. Mine was good, but it wasn't fettuccini it was 100% pappardelle pasta. My mom's was also good but not a huge portion. The pasta was very fresh as you could see it being made with when you walked in. Overall you could try it but know if you are a tourist/or don't speak Spanish your experience may not be great.

I've been coming to this place for a few months now , it's in my way to work and I've never seen it before , one day I decided to stop and I was very impressed. The food is incredible so is the service. Everyone is very attentive and professional this place is a little hidden gem. I think ownership should advise the hotels in the area about this place because most people don't know is here Perhaps some flyers or postcards with pictures of the restaurant and the food because this is a great alternative to all the junk food around the area I will be definitely be coming back many times

Lovely lunch sport. Service was great and attentive. The food is amazing. The calamari was so tender. Caesar salad was delicious. The lasagna bolognese stole the show for me. The meat sauce and layer of bechamel were delicious.

We came here craving for Italian food and that's what we got! The food were generously portioned , started with bread, then we ordered their calamari which was cooked to perfection, tentacles included which I liked. It was crispy. My son order the spaghetti and I ordered the tris pasta which came with carbonara, chicken tortellini and lasagna.everything was good and the set up of the place was very intimate. There's a single red rose on the table on white linen so it popped out. It's a fairly smaller place with only maybe 6-8 tables. Service was good, our server checked up on us pretty regularly. It was just weird that at the end, when our bill can graduity was included for parties of more than 1 which I didn't mind giving since we did have a nice experience but that was my first time having graduity included for less that 6 people. There were only 3 of us

Such a cozy spot with amazing service and super quick delivery! I stopped by for a quick lunch and was genuinely impressed -- the food was exceptional. I had the carbonara pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. What really stood out, though, was the team -- everyone seemed close-knit and genuinely happy to be there, which you don't see often in Miami anymore. That warmth came through in their attentive, welcoming service. I'll definitely be coming back

Calamari. Incredible.

Don't miss this little gem. The gnocchi is pillow soft, the calamari is perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don't miss the tiramisu. Excellent service, very clean and perfect for one or a group.

This small italian restaurant in blue lagoon, offers a very tasty italian dishes in south miami, simple but well prepared and in my humble opinion better than some high end restaurants in the area. They are not pretentious, they just serve good food. The service is up to the mark, they are always taking care of you.

Very nice place for real Italian food. I recommend the homemade pasta, delicious, and at the end the panna cotta was perfect.

We got lucky and the hostess actually seated us almost right away. The staff is amazing and friendly. Usually on big holidays restaurants in Miami are short staffed and service always suffers. Osteria's energy was warm and beyond welcoming. We ordered the calamari again and it was wonderfully crispy. For our Entrees we had the steak with a side of asparagus and pappardelle ossobuco. Steak was perfectly seasoned. The veal pasta sauce was out of this world. Honestly I think stopping by Osteria might be our Christmas Eve tradition from now on. I couldn't have had a better Christmas Eve with my family.

An opulent failed attempt at fine dining…read more At first glance, the place is impressive -- beautiful cars outside, constant traffic of guests walking in, crisp white tablecloths setting the stage for what appears to be a refined dining experience. Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.

We ordered the Valentina and King Bee cocktails to start and they came out delicious! Highly recommend. For entrees we ordered the fettuccine bolognese and the short rib tortellini. We joined the clean plate club with both of these dishes and didn't leave a crumb. For desert we had the espresso martinis tiramisu and once again cleaned the plate. Safe to say the dishwashers were fans of us. The service was impeccable. Food and drinks came out quick, waters were refilled promptly, and our server Alessandro made sure we were taken care of. This is a great date night spot and I would definitely put this place on your radar when in the Brickell area.

We tried the veal meatballs and fried calamari with artichoke. The veal meatballs did not hold together and were mushy. There were two tiny meatballs for $12. The fried calamari was very good but had more artichoke than calamari. Expected more calamari for the price. We don't mind paying for high quality food but they missed the mark with these dishes. Also, the portions were ridiculously tiny for the price you paid. Not a good value and neither dish was memorable. I'm very sorry that I forgot to take pictures of the dishes. On a positive note the service was top notch. Our bartender was professional and friendly.
