We celebrated Father's Day at Grand Public with my husband, dad, and father-in-law; a party of 11 including 3 kids. We were seated immediately, which was appreciated, but the table was too small for our group and we had to pull over an extra chair ourselves from a neighboring table. Shortly after being seated, water from the A/C began dripping on my head. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they offered to move us to another table, but with a group of 11 we preferred to stay put. I asked them if they would clean the area instead, which resolved the issue for the rest of our meal. What surprised me most was that, on Father's Day, not a single staff member acknowledged the fathers at our table. No "Happy Father's Day," no small gesture, nothing. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially on a holiday centered around celebrating dads. Another disappointment was discovering that only the brunch menu was being served. This was not disclosed when I made the reservation. Had I known, I would have booked an earlier time or chosen a different restaurant. To make matters worse, there was no kids' menu. With brunch items mostly over $20 and not particularly kid-friendly, feeding children became unnecessarily expensive. The value simply wasn't there. I ordered a turkey sandwich for $27 with no side included. It was dry, so I asked for additional aioli and was instead given a dijonnaise that clearly wasn't the same sauce as what was on the sandwich, and then charged $3 for it. We were also charged $2 for extra honey butter after the original portions served with the Parker rolls were removed from our table. The nickel-and-diming felt excessive. Pricing throughout the menu seemed inconsistent. A burger was $24 and included fries, while a $27 turkey sandwich came with nothing, and fries were an additional $7. As for the food, my family enjoyed their breakfast items, but nothing on the lunch portion of brunch stood out as exceptional except the Parker rolls, which were easily the highlight of the meal. The cocktails were enjoyable, particularly my Peacock Spritz and my husband's Spicy Watermelon margarita. Lastly, we waited about 10-15 minutes after our meal for our waiter to bring a dessert and coffee menu. He never came back and eventually I flagged him down and asked for the check, which is when I found out about the sauce costs. I paid and we walked down the street for dessert and coffee. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a special Father's Day celebration left us disappointed. We chose this restaurant because we have seen great reviews, but it just wasn't a good experience for us.

I was very impressed with Grand Public. The restaurant is nice and spacious. The staff is proper and friendly. If you are wondering what to order. Definitely the bread buns. They are amazing 100/10. The tuna tartare was delicious as well. The steak and sushi are good. After appetizers and sushi there was an extreme gap of time before the main course of steak and pasta came. Other than that, I had a great experience. The drink menu looked delicious as well so I will definitely be coming back try.

Illa from a grand public made the best drinks and Jean Paul provided the best service as well. They have happy hour at 10 pm I recommend to come and check out the amazing Ambiance at this place. Hidden but super cute and low key for a cute date night.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Love the decor and the Ambiance! Fabulous VIP preview and grand opening Event! Salute to Dana Agency for the invite. The food was top tier - bang bang chicken; meatballs; tuna tar tar; tomahawk steak and the seasoned potatoes! And the desserts were 10/10. Drinks were creative and we are going back! Cheers!

We went for Happy Hour and it was amazing. The cocktails were spectacular and the menu choices were so delicious. The bartenders were so friendly and helpful with our choices and recommendations. It was a laid back and relaxed atmosphere.

Grand public was incredible for a night cap and delicious bites! The hostesses were a dynamic duo who welcomed us with great energy, enthusiasm and hospitality. The bar was full so we grabbed a table right across from it, ordered the entire late night happy hour bites and some cocktails. The Ferrero Rocher martini was decadent and the watermelon martini was excellent! This feedback was from my friends who drink. I had water. Now for the bites; the tiradito was AMAZING and my top pick. The pizza was a close second. The dragon roll was really good but slight heavy (for me) on the sauce. The fries were too thick and were sent back because they were undercooked and when they came back it was well cooked but still too thick. The bang bang chicken was not our favorite. The sauce was heavy and I would have preferred it to be a buffalo sauce instead. With that being said, you can't beat the prices and ambiance. The decor is bougie and bright. I loved it! The bathroom was clean and nice also. This is the spot and certainly a vibe. Check them out and enjoy!

Good service, decent food. Chocolate dessert cake was great. Wasn't blown away but it was a good meal! Love the ambiance of this restaurant and the vibes tho!

What a gem of a restaurant!!! We were impressed by the amazing service and our waiter, Eric went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The rolls that we ordered were the BEST we've ever had. They were so good that we ordered an extra order with our dessert. I ordered the lobster ravioli which really was delicious. Every bite was a delight. My husband ordered the steak and fries and it was also exquisite. The atmosphere was very nice and they had a DJ playing great music. We highly recommend this restaurant we we can't wait to return.

    Best food ambiance and service!!

Hands down the best restaurant in Miami. Went to the grand opening and everything was amazing and then again came again for lunch and everything was superb. The food the ambiance and more importantly the service. Every worker was quick to be attentive and the food was delicious. I will be coming again and again. A must try in Miami!

I took advantage of their 4 course $60 dinner special (not listed on their website but offered every day, including weekends) and went with the Caesar Salad, 14 oz skirt steak, fries and flan. Each dish was very good, the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the fries were crispy and good, and the flan was probably the best I've ever had. I enjoyed a very good glass of Malbec reserve with my meal. La Cabrera also offers a $39 lunch special. Ambiance was charming and the service was also very good. Far superior choice, food wise, to Chop.

A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.

We got in pretty early and there was plenty of seating as the rain slowed it definitely started to get busier. It seemed like there was one server taking care of both inside and out which he handled well and checked in often. The location has a minimalistic and trendy feel. TVs were playing soccer games in the back which checks out with Craft originating in Argentina. Let's get to the food which is what you're reading this for. We started with coffees, bf had the Americano black, while I had a delicious latte with cinnamon powder; both were served with a bite sized chocolate brownie (nice touch!). We started with the goat cheese croquettes which were an incredible way to start. Covered with honey and almond slivers, the honey complimented the goat cheese in such a balanced way. We only explored the breakfast side of the menu, which all sounded amazing. I decided on the eggs Benedict with a side of the house potatoes. The bennie was served with sliced ham on a thick slice of sourdough, I do think the potatoes should be the standard side instead of the side of arugula. Bf went with the steak and eggs... this should be a no-brainer it's an Argentinian restaurant and steak is a staple. Well he ordered it medium and it was served well done. This was definitely disappointing. The server insisted on taking it back and brought out an entirely new plate. This one was cooked to medium but he said it was incredibly bland. Bf does not usually add salt to dishes at restaurants and he kept having to sprinkle salt. All in all, breakfast was ok, but we may be back to try lunch or dinner instead next time.
