Daniel's Miami quickly became the hottest steakhouse in the neighborhood seemingly overnight. Having just visited for the first time yesterday, I can totally understand why. The restaurant is stunning, and so much bigger on the inside than you'd believe it to be seeing it from the outside. Ambiance is clean, upscale and romantic. Service is top-notch, attentive and warm. Food is absolutely delicious. Sunday Brunch was my first experience here, and I ordered off the Pre-Fix menu which was $45 for 3-courses. As my appetizer, I went with the Wagyu Beef Empanadas. Two small, stuffed and succulent pastries served with a spicy sriracha aioli - I highly recommend these. For entree I ordered the ever famous Steak & Eggs, which upon receipt feels like it may not be filling but don't let the lack of carbs fool you. The steak is cooked exactly to order and seasoned to perfection. Hands down, the best steak I've had here in Miami. The egg on top is a great touch, and the gravy at the bottom explodes with flavor. This dish is small, but the flavor journey it takes you on (and the fact that it's all protein) delights the senses in a way to keep you thoroughly satisfied. For dessert, I opted for the Ricotta Zeppoli, which was surprisingly amazing. If you can imagine a much denser, softer, sweeter type of doughnut, this is it. My friend ordered the same app and entree but opted for the Soft Serve and swirled the chocolate and vanilla flavors - this was really good too. An elegant experience with great food and interesting cocktail list. We got the lunch pre fixe and tried the steak and the vodka pasta, with the strawberry gazpacho and burrata appetizers and the lemon sorbet and chocolate soft serve for dessert. The main courses were both excellent, both the steak and the pasta were cooked just right. The strawberry gazpacho was interesting but not something I would get again. The lemon sorbet was very good but the chocolate soft serve was a miss. I also got a bourbon cocktail with banana bitters; the banana flavor came through stronger than I hoped but the overall drink was still good. The lunch valet parking was affordable and convenient. Inside, the overall feel was elegant but not intimidating, felt just right. The music was a bizarre set of jazz covers of contemporary pop songs (Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits", for example). Finally made it to Daniel's for lunch. The service was top-notch from start to finish, and I really have no complaints about the food. Everything we ordered was well prepared and flavorful. That said, it feels a bit overpriced for what it is, likely because it's become one of the hottest places to be right now. I'm sure I'll dine there again at some point, but I can't say I'm counting the days until my next visit. Came here with some friends on a Tuesday afternoon. Super crowded and a great atmosphere indeed. I had the burger. The burger was cooked perfectly however it was a little overwhelmingly salty. I don't know why chefs feel the need to put a lot of salt on meat. Just a pinch of salt and pepper and would have gave it 5 stars. Had a great refreshing non alcoholic drink with it because I had to go to work later that night. Great crowd as I mentioned and super packed for a Tuesday. I read somewhere that Daniel's was the Sunny's for adults, which is pretty accurate! It is a stunning restaurant with a lively atomsphere and they are pumping a great playlist (great touch, extra points for playing Peter Gabriel). The host checking us in was a rude man, but our server Andres was very nice. They sat us near the kitchen and near a door, we liked the spot, but kind of annoying how the waiter and the food runner were having a loud conversation near our table as we were eating.. We started with the Sullivan Street soughdough bread and wedge salad. We loved the bread, instead of butter they used a whipped ricotta with honey. So good! Our server cut up the wedge for us. The thick chunks of bacon and crispy onions were a nice touch. We took our server's recommendation and ordered the cowboy ribeye. It was very delicious, but came with a lot of fat. The less expensive australian wagyu was MUCH better, it melted in your mouth and came with a delicious chimmichuri sauce. It was sooo good i wish we had two of those instead of the ribeye. Moving onto the sides. We had the twice baked potato, corn pudding and vodka pasta. All were very good but the baked potato and pasta were my favorites. They came out lukewarm i wish they were a little hotter. Formerly Fiola, joint has always been gorgeous inside. They evidently changed a few things but kept the vibes all the same. My friend and I opted for the prefix brunch menu and chose same items...wagyu beef empanadas, steak and eggs, soft serve and doughnuts for dessert and I had the white sangria to wash it all down. The sangria was in the weaker side, more like a lemonade to be honest. These empanadas were finger licking good...tender and juicy on the inside and fluffy on the outside but not crunchy. Then the perfectly cooked medium filet for me with that perfect peppercorn sunny side egg laying in top. The steak it's without a doubt an excellent high quality cut. All with a side of that bread with the a butter that would make you come back many times over. To finish, these little doughnuts with a side of Nutella and cream and soft serve with a tiny brownie that was decadent in the best way. Service is top notch here. Daniel's in South Miami is truly an experience worthy of every accolade. Ranked #40 worldwide and #6 in North America, this restaurant exceeded every expectation we had from the moment we walked in. I can confidently say this is probably my favorite restaurant I've been to in my 20 years of living in Miami. The service was absolutely the best I've ever experienced--I wanted to come back immediately before I even left. A huge thank you to Andres (our server) and Antonio (server assistant) for taking such great care of us. The food was just as incredible as the service. The tartare was refreshing, and the bread with the honey topping is a must-order. I would gladly order every item again except for the chocolate cake. It was decent but nothing to rant & rave about. Next time I would choose another steak, they have some great ones on the menu but we were all sharing and Filet seemed like the popular choice. We really enjoyed the Dover Sole. Since it was our first time at Daniel's we decided to get the staples: bread service, hanger steak, ny strip, lobster Mac and cheese, and the swirl ice cream. The bread service was phenomenal and I thought the ricotta spread was one of the best I've ever had. My favorite cut of meat was the hanger steak. I thought it was very tender and juicy. You will be dining in a beautiful steakhouse with soothing low lighting, rich dark woods, sparkling glass, well appointed tables, comfortable seating, 80-90s music, very likeable staff, and elegant outside entrance. Wear your best attire and enjoy the vibrant and classy ambiance! The food and drinks were excellent! We shared the 10 Oz Australian Margaret Wagyu Prime Rib, which was so tender and juicy, cooked to perfection! It was delicious and almost melted in my mouth if that's possible. It was the best prime rib that I have ever tasted and I've tasted many. We loved how our delightful server Milly, brought us the scrumptious Prime Rib and sliced it for us and scooped the incredibly delicious Lobster Mac n Cheese as well as the yummy Twice Baked Potato onto our plates. She pampered us to no end. She checked on us all evening to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Also the restaurant manager, Jose Santiago, stopped by twice to welcome us and see if everything was alright. We appreciated his attention and were impressed with his sincerity. I'm not gonna lie. I kept seeing all the social media hype for the Daniel's coral gables location and thought it wouldn't be that great. But I can comfortably say that this is a great steakhouse in miami. Keep in mind that this is not a cheap eats or mid tier priced steakhouse. This is high end (although they do need to add a ribeye that is $100 or less to the menu) First, the overall interior of the restaurant is beautiful. You can tell they took time with the design and gave it that upscale look. We booked the day before so ended up with a table on the patio which is nice. They have hedges on the patio so it's more private. Then the food, I got the 16oz prime NY strip and it was perfectly cooked. I'm not a truffle guy but I added the truffle butter and it was well worth it. My wife got the hangar steak which is wagyu. Very tender and juicy steak We also got the bread service with was a great starting app. Comes with a delicious honey better. My wife got the wedge salad which we had chopped and it was great. Good amount of bacon and tasted perfect I did get the oyster Rockefeller which for the price I probably would not get again because it's only 4 small oysters. For drinks we got a dirty Martina which was excellent. I like that the serve you a carafe that sits in the ice. There is another well know steak place like Daniel's in miami where they out ice in the carafe which waters down the drinks. I got the old fashioned and it was great. Had a nice apple flavor to it and would 109% get again. Both drinks were at the $20 range which is standard in miami Lastly was the mushrooms side. They were tasty but probably a one time try for us. But if you like Mushrooms it was excellent. Last, we originally ordered a cookie desert with ice cream. But the manager stopped by to talk to us and once he heard that it was our first time he came back with the soft serve which was MASSIVE. Made me feel like a kid again. Would get both next time. Overall, the service was great and attentive. For example, I'm sitting there with my napkin and without even asking the server comes over takes the one I have and replaces it a new one. Manager also stopped by and we chatted for a little too which was nice. Food is on point. Then we had the Caesar salad which was very unique and delicious, not your typical salad, and the dressing to lettuce ratio was absolutely perfect. We shared a tomahawk steak that was cooked to perfection, the quality of this steak was something I had never experienced before, we had leftover steak, and the next day was just as good. We also ordered the twice baked potato as our side; another winner. The potato was so silky, creamy and perfectly seasoned. To finish we had the banana bread pudding. We were so full from our delicious meal but I'm glad we ordered this dessert because it was EPIC!!! Perfect combination of warm, gooey, creamy and delicious banana bread pudding. I had been meaning to make it over to Daniel's. I ended up going for lunch. I love that they had a prefixed lunch menu available as well as regular menu available. The prefix lunch menu had some delicious options so I decided to give it a shot It's $35 per person. There is an up charge if you want the fillet. I picked the baby kale salad with the fillet and a mango sorbet for dessert. The fillet came with delicious homemade fries. My husband had the same thing except he picked the ceviche to start. Everything was delicious from start to end. The bread service was divine. Steak was cooked perfectly. I love the classic upscale steakhouse aesthetic. The restaurant was impeccable. I had a life altering moment here.. I am beyond impressed with this restaurant! Definitely make reservations because it is packed. Even the bar was full. With reservations we waited about 10 minutes for our table to be ready. The restaurant itself is really nice. They have low lighting giving that romantic aesthetic and beautiful displays of wine. It's definitely not your typical "quiet" restaurant. They play some music from the 80s and even some modern songs and the dining space itself has a lively social vibe. So feel free to laugh out loud. We got to try the Miami Spice menu for dinner and really it is quite the deal. We did add a half portion of the bread service because we just had to try it. The fact that a half portion is available is a huge plus! I had heard raving reviews and we needed to experience it. And an experience it was!! The sourdough bread is freshly baked, toasty on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The whipped ricotta, honey & thyme spread is just divine. I would like a tub of that to take home! For drinks I tried "The Daniel's" (with gin) which is basically a dirty martini. The presentation is 10/10. It comes with its own little side car of gin and a vial of olive brine giving you the ultimate control of gin to brine ratio. It was delicious. For Miami Spice I started with the Oysters Rockefeller. The serving brings 3 oysters. They were baked to perfection. The creamy spinach with the briny oyster really had a perfect balance of flavor. For entree I got the Demkota Heritage Elite Prime Filet Mignon, and this is where my life fell apart. OMG... I cannot begin to describe how tender and juicy this piece of meat was. Not to mention the intense flavor. Our awesome waiter Hector explained to us these steaks are prepared in very high heat broilers which give the steaks that nice sear while maintaining the perfect medium rare interior. Now of course, the preparation of the steak is important, but you can tell from texture of the meat itself that this is high quality beef. It comes paired with potato fonduta which is the most luscious potato. Just take a bite in your mouth, close your eyes, and happy dance. For dessert I finished off with the lemon sorbet. Daniel's in Coral Gables is such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I was sad to see Fiola close but I was so excited when I heard a new steakhouse was opening here and it did not disappoint. We started with the Wagyu & Pearls which was a wagyu beef tartare, black garlic aioli, and kaluga caviar on brioche toast which was absolutely delicious. We also had the tiger shrimp, which were HUGE and so fresh and flavorful. Of course, we couldn't skip the bread which came with a sheep's milk ricotta , honey & thyme spread that was truly to die for. For my entrée, I had the Demkota Heritage Elite Prime Filet Mignon, served with a potato fonduta which almost like an elevated mashed potato. The steak was so tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It came with a sauce that had a great flavor as well, it had a sweet side to it , not sure what it was. This is MIami Spice Season and the offers are so tempting and varied that it's hard to decide where to go. Unquestionably your best choice is Daniel's in Coral Gables. This newly opened, gorgeous, well appointed restaurant in the heart of beautiful Gables is the second of Gioia Hospitality's line of steak houses. Hailing from Argentina, I vouch for the locally (save for the Australian Wagyu) sourced cuts and as a foodie I was delighted by the incredible pasta dishes, burrata, seafood, their signature incredible strawberry gazpacho, along with amazing sides making up the bounty of beautifully plated victuals. All things are made in house from sourdough bread to chips, dips, and aiolis. And this is big: they cook with beef tallow --ZERO SEED OILS. An incredible selection of wines and Incredible libations - their amaretto sour is a favorite. The service as well is an on point. Isis is meticulous and her flow with Paloma, was a joy. You can tell the hard work and dedication of the entire staff as they seem to work as a tight knit orchestrated team, rendering everything to perfection. Management is also super friendly- Camila brought out Chef Luis so we could thank them for a delightful experience. The place is elegance through and through in lush green velvets, rich wood, shiny glass and open spaces to allow for comfortable dining ---beauty form and function. Went to Daniel's on a Wednesday at 6PM, but the energy was giving Friday night, amazing vibe, great crowd, and solid service. Our server was friendly and attentive, but things took a turn when we were told (after a $1.1K dinner for four!) that we couldn't order another bottle of wine because another party was waiting for our table. Nothing kills a buzz faster than being rushed at a "fine dining" spot. The manager did comp the wine and moved us to the bar, which was a nice gesture but honestly, once you make guests feel like they've overstayed their welcome, it's hard to bounce back from that. It's a full experience. Services it on top of everything. Its efficiency and speed felt similar to hillstone. Booking wasn't hard as some places like Sunny's. I'd have to be honest and say that the meat at Daniel's surpasses Sunny's & Perry's. Had to be one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. We ordered three sides, mushroom, pasta and fries. If you only can do one side I recommend the vodka pasta. Amazing! The place was very detailed with the design and you can tell a lot of thought went into the making. Went to Daniel's for date night, Miami's new hot spot! Let's start with the first impression, restaurant is stunning inside, in your face fancy! I loved the look of it all. Very elegant. The night started off nice and slowly throughout realized this wasn't it. The service was ok and bit chaotic, servers all bumping into tables and each other - narrow space between tables? It was a busy night and we felt the chaos that they felt. Also...a/c was broken so it was hard to enjoy our hot meal. We started off with two cocktails the Palomita and a glass of Merlot, drinks were really nice! Those got a pass. And the bread service was 8/10 the ricotta honey butter spread was delicious just the crispy side of the bread was rock hard so a bit tricky to eat. For our appetizer we got the delicious blue crab cake - really fresh, this was the most impressive thing we got. And for our meal we shared the Wagyu NY strip steak the twice baked potato and the lobster Mac and cheese. All of which...we're not good. The steak was 90% fat where out jaw got tired of chewing, the twice baked potato was a dry baked potato and the lobster Mac and cheese had a nice breading but overall the dish tasted acidic? For dessert we thought we'd try the cookie skillet since it was heavily insisted by our waiter..it was very normal. I actually think the BJs Brewhouse skillets are 100000x better. It was a brutally expensive meal so i expected something much better, pretty disappointing since this place had a lot of hype. Maybe a good place for a drink and the crab cake as a bite and keep it moving. This was a painful $400 spend.. read more

came for my birthday after hearing such great things about Daniel's on social media, and was disappointed. The service was very attentive , but the overall the food was mediocre. We were a party of 4 and had the wedge salad, bread service, steak tartar, New york strip, ribeye, lobster mac and twice baked potatoes. The wedge salad was very dry and just bad in general . The Lobster mac was 80% bread crumbs and the pasta was overcooked , lobster was chewy another let down. Steaks were just ok. The potato was good, it was really the only thing i enjoyed. We had a lovely dinner for twelve to celebrate the holidays at Daniel's in South Miami. The location of the restaurant is easy to access and they have valet which is very convenient. The restaurant has a very elegant atmosphere. We sat in a room where they had floor to ceiling wine on display. The restaurant was completely sold out so I highly recommend reservations. Due to the restaurant being so full, the only complaint I really have is that at times it was very loud and hard to hear my guests. We ordered cocktails and wine with our appetizers. The wine selections is quite vast with so much to choose from. One of my guests had a martini where they serve the olive juice in a vile on the side and they really enjoyed it. The food is absolutely amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and provided a lot of guidance as to what we should order. A few of my guests ordered the Australian Wagyu New York strip and said it was perfect. I do not eat red meat and there were plenty of options for me as well. I had the crab cake topped with caviar and it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered sides to share for the table which included lobster mac & cheese, twice baked potato and corn pudding. For dessert, we had a build your own sundae, the cookie skillet and banana bread. We really enjoyed our time at Daniel's. Would highly recommend it! read more
