I'd heard of the place but honestly had no idea where it was and well honestly what the big deal was ... A friend invited me last Thursday for lunch, we waited about 30 minutes for table and well it was well worth the wait !!! We started off with the hamachi (yes we ordered fish at a restaurant for beef) but don't underestimate how amazing it was !!! Order it !!! Then we split the fried cheese, a burger and a filet to say we were full is an understatement. Oh and lo forgot to mention the bottle of wine !! Which surprisingly was reasonably priced !! Overall if you're in the mood for some great beef, skip some of the overpriced steakhouses and enjoy this place you won't regret it !! Just have patience waiting for a table - next time I want the vaca frita o lomo salteado

Food, service and ambiance are always great here. Staff is always very welcoming and attentive. Food is delicious! Fried cheese with guava and juicy cheeseburger are delicious.

I had been searching for the best burger in Miami for four years when I was lucky enough to try Shadow Wagyu and confidently say my search was over. As a lover of a thick and juicy burger in comparison to the common smash burger taking over the Miami Food scene, Shadow Wagyu truly feels like a breath of fresh air. Paired with their fries and the perfect cup of red wine, this place is the kind of elevated butcher-shop burger experience a meat lover can only dream of. If you think it stops there, their wings are some of my favorite in the city. They truly know their way around a piece of meat, which is unquestionable given the quality of each piece, the knowledge of each team member, and the flavor in every bite. If you love a burger, you cannot leave the city before trying Shadow Wagyu. And a little tip, even if you're someone who likes their meat more on the well-done side, I strongly suggest you get yours medium-rare. The juiciness when you cut into it will be something you'll gush over everytime you think of the word burger for years to come. Whether its for brunch, lunch or dinner, Shadow Wagyu is a must for any and all meat lovers in town.

I had an incredible experience at shadow wagu. The service was incredible very attentive with awesome suggestions. The food was out of this world. I had the chilli cheese fries and burger and absolutely loved every bite. It's a trendy casual vibe that feels welcoming. Highly recommend!

I love this place. Water find beautiful small little Resturaunt tucked away you know shopping center. I'm telling you the beef is so good so tender and amazing. I had the Lomo saltado then my wife had a burger. Both were excellent. You might find it really hard to get in here at certain times... the time we got here it was pretty crowded and there is no seating The host was gonna turn us away, but I don't know if it was the manager or the owner of the restaurant gladly took us in until this to give him maybe a few minutes we sat at a bar facing a wall and meant a beautiful young soul there. The experience was great. Food was excellent accommodating. Energy was well met with great food. Will definitely stop by here again when in the area.

Definitely great food. They have the know-how and equipment to do justice to the steak: nicely charred on the outside and super tender inside. The menu is very limited. Yes there are a few non-beef items but someone who doesn't eat beef will likely prefer eating elsewhere. However, if you love beef, welcome, welcome, welcome!! It's a small place with a few small tables (for two) and a long table in the center which can accommodate a larger group or shared among several. I really recommend coming with a few of friends so you can share a good rib eye or tomahawk, as well as sharing some of their delicious appetizers and sides. The salad, mushrooms and fries are all very good. Price wise it's not exactly cheap. Because, you get what you pay for. If you compare apple to apple, then you'll realize what a great price it is. Especially for the steaks, they charge you by weight and add a very modest cooking fee. The same steak will definitely cost you a lot more in a proper steak house. Now, a proper steak house will have fancier (though not necessarily better) service and not have you eating wagyu sitting on a stool, out of a disposable plate. But if you can do without the bells and whistles and just want to spend money on where it counts, you won't be disappointed. Parking wise, if you are lucky you can snatch a free parking spot in the strip mall, if not there is paid parking nearby.

The food is 10/10 hands down. Very small and intimate space. You can tell the chef cares about the quality of product the put out & the owner greets all like family. I'm my opinion probably the best burger in Miami.

Came here for lunch w coworkers and everything was so good. Our waiter was super friendly and shared a few specials with us. The food was very good and the quality of the food was amazing. The atmosphere was a vibe. Very clean and welcoming. Gotta come back and try other things on the menu. Had my eye on the chili bowl for next time.

Loved the casual vibe paired with flavorful high quality foods! Came here with a few friends on a Friday for lunch. We didn't have a reservation but were super well received by the staff! Service was quick and the food was absolutely delicious!!!! Worth every penny.

I finally made it to Shadow Wagyu. And I say finally because we almost let not finding parking determine if we'd actually make it inside or not. There is a parking garage across the street so hopefully that'll save you some time circling the lot unlike us. The staff were so damn welcoming, friendly and inviting making it easy to want to revisit. We enjoyed a cold beer while we waited for our table which took all of 15 minutes on a Monday afternoon. We were seated inside their meat market and were amazed at the influx of guests coming in and out to purchase different cuts of meats; Wagyu, prime, all top of the line. We started with their short rib and I'm so happy we did. WOW! Flavorful and then some. The real reason we came was for their Wagyu cheesesteak at a whopping $50!!!! Which is only available 3 times out of the entire year. Was it worth it? It was very good and tender but not $50 good. The ambiance is low key and casual with a hardworking staff hustling and bustling making sure things are run smoothly. We'll be back to try more items on the menu.

Had a delicious and fun time here! Loved the atmosphere, was greeted at the door (i think by the owner).. super sweet guy. I loved how it was small and intimate, had no problem sitting on a Saturday afternoon, even though it was packed. We had the classic burger that came with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and i believe they said Japanese mayo. It was melt in your mouth delicious, real quality wagyu. For me the roll was a little too airy, i bet that meat would be delicious on a potato or onion roll. We split fries and the dipping aioli was delicious. They were out of the hamachi, otherwise we would have had that too. 10/10

Chopped cheese- get it. It's amazing.

The food is fantastic and the music is great! But can we take a moment to appreciate the HOSPITALITY!? Miami service is not the best- and every single person at Shadow Wagyu showcased fantastic hospitality. We never felt rushed and we never felt like anyone was upselling us- just simple, genuine hospitality. You can feel that they all believe in the product and have respect for each other. The servers were excited that it was my first time there and that I loved the food. Highly recommend!

The churrasco, the ribeye, the chicken breast, the chorizo... all of it has been stellar. I have never had a single issue with ordering, or picking up. As a matter of fact, even when I have made errors when placing my order, they are quick to resolve my issue and help me out. I placed an order for delivery for what I presume to be one of their busiest days (New Year's Eve). I needed to change the order to pickup and change the date of pickup from the 31st to the 30th. They made the changes for me without issue, or grievance. Personally, raw meat gives me the major ick. My OCD goes into panic mode when I have to handle the meat. I even use gloves (wish I didn't, but maybe I'll work on that in therapy). Point of the matter is that I have gone to several butcher shops in town in an effort to find better quality meat. They have all grossed me out. Josh's is pristinely clean. I feel zero anxiety walking in, or out with meat. Whenever you go pickup in store, Josh's mom, or dad are at the register. It makes me so happy to know I am supporting a small Miami family business. I love this place so much that not only do I frequently purchase their meat for my family, we give out gift cards constantly because I can trust that the recipient will have an unforgettable experience as well. You can't go wrong with this place. Truly, the meat and experience is worth every penny.

The place is small and we sat at the bar. It's a cool, dive bar vibe with memorabilia on the wall. There were only a handful of others there, but the service was slow, especially considering it wasn't very crowded. It seems like the waitress was distracted and forgot about us. Eventually, we were taken care of. We all got one of their sodas and thought h they tasted good. We tried to order their award-winning fish dip, listed on the specials board, but the waitress said they were out of chips. Ok, fine -- we said "forget it" and moved onto the main course. We all ordered some variation of the Fancy Nancy, their namesake burger. It was a good burger but not the best in Florida. Not even close. The fries were frozen and nothing to write home about. Others in our party ordered the "award-winning" potato salad, which tasted pretty good. As an aside, I ordered my burger medium well, and it was cooked as desired. Everyone else ordered their burger medium and two were very pink, more like medium rare or rare. It seems like most of their awards and accolades were earned pre-COVID. We wanted to like this local spot but I have to imagine it's not what it once was.
