It really pains my to write this review because I have been to fogo de chao many many times, and my entire family being from the south of Brasil knows good churrasco and we always claimed fogo de chao to be the best of the best. However I feel like this has changed. Last time I visited this location was 2 years ago when it first opened and while the service was poor, the food and atmosphere were great. Since then I have visited other locations including the south beach one where the food and service were tremendous. Tonight, the coral gables location fell soooo short. Like other reviews mentioned, when we arrived we had to wait for a table even though we had a reservation and there were plenty of open tables for two available. Our service started out ok with our server but by the end of the night had disappeared. ALL of the food was cold, from the beans and rice at the salad bar to the meat and mashed potatoes. It was not at all a true representation of Brazilian meat. The meat quality has gone down so much in recent years, it was unrecognizable to me this visit. So many of the cuts were tough and chewy. By the end of the meal we were ready to leave and it was like a ghost town, you could not find a single wait staff in sight to ask for the check. Honestly for the price, it was such a bizarre end to a mediocre dining experience. The only reason I'm giving it more than two stars is because it was clean, the pao de quiejo was good and the salad bar was up to par, besides that they have a lot of improving to do or they will start to lose loyal customers.

Came for happy hour and there's some really good options. Would love if they could include a leafy salad on there though. Overall ok experience. Wouldn't get the spinach dip again but wanted it since they didn't have a salad. The steak was good but some parts were a bit burnt and chewy. We ordered the chicken sliders but I didn't eat it but my friend liked it. Would come again to try their all you can eat menu and see if that is better.

All day happy hour! At the bar & patio. Julia took care of us and she was amazing!! Drinks and food were delicious. Great spot for happy hour.

Delicious food, with phenomenal service and let me tell you the water never touched the bottom of my glass so you know the service was great!!! Haha. We ordered the $68/person Churrasco Experiance which brings all the cuts of meat (except the waygu that's a separate menu and price). The salad bar and hot bar is all included. Everything was fresh and was very delicious. Fogo de Chao is a bit on the pricer side but it's very nice for a night out and you will always receive 5-star service and quality. They do offer valet parking for $25 on the weekends. Ambience was very modern and large! Highly recommend to anyone! ^.^

Still some of the best deals that you'll find in the area. Aside from their burger, they offer high end cuts if you opt for the full churrasco experience. They also have a unique rewards club that will earn you a tasty app rather quickly.

Normally I'd have given a fantastic review because the food was very good, the "serving" part of the service was tremendous (you'll see what I mean by this later), and the atmosphere was terrific. $25 for valet parking pre-tip, very convenient. However, we had several problems which offset the positives. #1, we had a reservation, were there well before time, and they kept telling us it would be a long wait, more than 30-40 minutes. We can see a table right there in front of us, fully set and open. They claimed it was reserved for another party. What? That other party is not even here and we are, plus WE have reservations too. We weren't the only ones. Two other parties had reservations and were not seated either. And they were before us. It was chaos, not knowing who to talk to, getting the run-around. People raising their voices trying to get served. And just when you think you find someone to help you, they say they need to talk to the host. So where's the host? Nowhere to be found. Finally saw him and chased him down in the back and followed him everywhere till he eventually gave us the aforementioned table. Once seated it vastly improved, although it was a bit confusing because we had two waiters and they asked the same thing at different times. I told the 2nd guy we ordered wine from the 1st guy but he said he didn't see it in the system. But then the wine came. Finally they explained they are a team and we can talk to either waiter. Kind of a smug, condescending 'tude. Okaaaay. Once the food started flowing it was all good. Meats came fast; food was great. I highly recommend the garlic picanha. So good. Regular picanha also good. Same with most of the other steaks. Other meats were a litle overdone for me, like bacon-wrapped steak. And the salad bar was good. The meat servers really serve you well. Also asked for some grilled pineapple beacuse it never came to us and they gave an entire plateful. Very nice. And then came the bill. It was as expected but when they brought the check to sign, my credit card wasn't with it. I asked them for it and we looked all over the table and the waiter stand. Minutes later the 2nd waiter tells me his boss had it in his pocket and brings it to me. Huh? Anyway, I'm willing to bet this place is normally better than this. I'll chalk it up to a busy, busy Friday night. Unfortunately, my mind was on all the other stuff and I didn't take any food pics.

Fogo de Chão is probably the best Brazilian churrasquería because of the quality of both the service and the food. They also offer different options in case you don't want the full churrasco experience. Ask about the single cut-- I chose the picanha and it was delicious for a very good price. The wine selection is also solid; try Luigi Bosca, it won't disappoint. Is perfect for group of friends and birthday celebrations.

Sergi and Manny is the best customer service experience I've ever experienced at any establishment. They kept checking on me for everything and not to mention the table was always clean. They went above and beyond to make this an expectational experience.I went to the Miami Beach Fogo de Chao and it was good but Coral gables was by far my favorite experience. The care and service you experienced is priceless. You can put a price on great people, service and food.

To start off...our reservation was for 8:15 pm and we didn't get sat until 8:50 pm. I think that is a bit late if you ask me. The food was good but it also took a while for the meat to come around. What bothered me was that at times we had to ask for some of the sides that are supposed to be brought to the table. For example; the cheese with honey (super yummy) and the plantains we had to request for them to be brought over. The reason behind not taking any pictures was because we waited an hour almost to be seated so I was starving by the time the food came around. Don't get me wrong, the food was good. I love the concept of being able to walk right over to the salad bar and pile up my plate with veggies, cheeses and salads. The service for bringing the meats around was great. They come around for the majority of the dining experience and you have to turn a card from green to red. Green signifies "yes, please" while red signifies "no thanks". The picahna was delicious! I truly enjoyed the fried polenta...it could've used a dipping sauce imo. The candied bacon from the salad bar was a huge hit! The espresso martini was a bit strong...could've used more espresso. I feel the experience was a bit rushed because they sat us down late and we were here close to closing. Maybe next time will be a bit better, less rushed.

We wanted to try the tuna tartar sampler and Galapagos Brujo but they had ran out. They also ran out of the Baklava for dessert and replaced it with tres leche. Which I was happy about because the tres leche was delicious. One of the best tres leche I've had. The croquetas and cevichito were also very tasty. I would definitely order them again. The crab bisque was rich in flavors. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and creamy lentil moro that it came with was delicious as well. The chopsue was okay but I do not think I would order it again. My friend loved it though. The service was great. My friend and I were talking for hours and not once were we rushed. Now there is a huge downside that you immediately encounter when you arrive. The parking lot is exceptionally small and people are parked every which way, except in the spaces. Getting to the actual building will take some time. The neighboring lots have pretty clear signs that they will tell you if you park there. So you're stuck dealing with what it is. The fish variety is good, although not great. If you're looking for strictly local fish, you'll probably find what you want. Several varieties of snapper and the fish looked wonderful and fresh. Some of my favorites like hogfish and grouper. You can buy the whole fish and they'll fillet it for you or you can buy fillets if they have them of the fish that you want. But the part I missed is having them cook it for me. Now that is something I would like to try next time The downside is they strictly local fish. You won't find any flatfish and I was surprised that they did not have any U4 or U6 shrimp which I like to use to make paella. In addition, I did not see fresh scallops. They did have some nice lobster tails although I did not see other shellfish. Some people have said the prices are reasonable; I found them about 20 to 30% higher than other fish markets I visit. The people here are really nice in the market is attractive. I will be back as I said to get a meal cooked for me in part because it is closer than the fish markets I usually visit and also my curiosity after reading other reviews. I recommend this market if you have the patience to wait for a parking space. If you're looking for the larger shrimp for paella look elsewhere

After she explained the menu and made recommendations, she offered to course our plates out accordingly so it wouldn't arrive all at once. Five stars to Melody for taking great care of us. Now to the food... We started things off with the pan con tomate with Serrano Ham and manchego cheese. Although this is a staple of tapas dining in Spain I had never tried it and was impressed with the depth of flavor and the different notes that it offered. It was excellent and I highly recommend it. Next was the gambas al ajillo which are broiled shrimp in a garlicky pepper butter sauce. These were also excellent, so much so we ordered another batch, Then we tried the Albondigas which were Pork and beef meatballs, with manchego, tomate sauce. These were good but proved to be our least favorite of everything we tried. Next was the datiles rellenos which were bacon wrapped dates with a small salad. These were very good Lastly we ordered the Serrano ham croquettes which came with a wonderful fig jam. These proved to steal the show. Hands down 5 stars! Because it was happy hour until 7pm, I got a Spanish beer (Mahou) and a wonderful glass of Malbec for $6 each. The total bill for all this before tip was $112 which was well worth it for an extraordinary meal with great variety. I highly recommend this restaurant!

For dessert, we got the cookie with ice cream and the crème brûlée, which were the perfect way to end the meal. I also loved that even after multiple courses, everything felt light and I didn't leave feeling overly stuffed Camilo, was super attentive and helpful all night. Glad I made a reservation, too it was packed for a Thursday! I had such a great experience especially for someone just getting into sushi.

10/10 Miami Spice Experience!…read more I visited Belly Fish in Coconut Grove for Miami Spice and had such an amazing experience! I started with the Shrimp Aguachile with Tomatillo Sauce, which was absolutely delicious so fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the meal. For my main course, I went with the Omakase Combo and paired it with the sake flight. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. And then came dessert...the warm Liger cookie with a dollop of vanilla ice cream really took it home for me! Beyond the food, the ambiance is aesthetically beautiful and has such a great vibe. The service was also wonderful and made the entire experience even better. Everything was truly 10/10 from start to finish. I'll definitely be back!
