Delicious cocktails and excellent bartender! I only stopped in for a drink but the guests sitting next to me said the key lime pie is the best they've ever had. Looking forward to coming back to try it.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, and the service was spectacular. We came as a large group and were seated outdoors. It was definitely hot, but the view and being able to sit together made it worth it. The food was pretty good overall. We ordered a bunch of appetizers standouts were the croquettes, tuna tartare, and shrimp tiradito. For my entrée, I had the skirt steak (just okay), but the tostones with cilantro sauce were delicious. I also tried my friend's lobster ravioli, which was spectacular. Drinks were solid I had a margarita. Most dishes were good, and the price point felt fair. We were a group of 16 and paid about $117 each, tip included.

Had brunch at Mayfair Grill for the Grove Brunch Club. We got a complimentary glass of mimosa. Lovely ambiance in the courtyard area. We sat outside by the waterfall. The live music added a nice touch. I had the egg and chicken sausage breakfast sandwich. It came with a side of potatoes. It was yummy and the breakfast potatoes were very flavorful. Service was also great.

Enjoyed the experience here for brunch. The ambiance is nice and live music was available too. The service was good as well. We had the fried egg sandwich with hash browns, a waffle, and a side of bacon.

Rapicavoli does it again! Great place to have taken over, so much personality! Have been itching to come here for a few weeks and decided to make it happen first weekend of the year. Walked right in on Sunday like at 1:30 p.m. and there's was plenty of seating at the bar and inside, but I chose to sit outside in the main "atrium" looking area of the hotel. Was given a nice spot facing the hotel interior that made me think of Morocco, and it set the mood perfectly. As soon as I was approached by my server I was given a compliment about my vibes lol, which I very much appreciated. Here's my chowdown: - Cafe Colada - Black Truffle & Potato Croquetas - Carajillo - Iberico Steak & Eggs - Bananavardier My server recommended much of what I ended up ordering, so kudos to Emily for the great recs. The brunch menu features the two coffee cocktails I ordered. The Colada has that "punch" upon first sip, while the Carajillo has a sweetness to it. Different but both were good. Loved the croquetas in between the cocktails, just wish they were bigger. The Iberico Steak & Eggs is actually a pork churrasco and it did the job. The Bananavardier was ok, probably would go for something else next time ... don't feel like there was much banana to it. Next visit will be for dinner!

I really loved this place! The vibes and view of sitting outside in the hotel patio was my favorite! I celebrated my Birthday here and it was 10/10! Service was great for such a large group. They really accommodated to my party and made it feel so special! It was also great that they were able to split everyone's checks individually.

I had been to the Mayfair grill before but I wanted to try it again after the revamp of the menu. I came here on Halloween night and I was able to get a seat right at the bar. The bartender walked over to me and asked what kind of water I wanted and gave me the menus. I liked that the drink menu had a whole expresso section. I ended up going with an expresso martini made with tequila reposado and it did not disappoint. I also ordered the truffle potato croquets and the crudo. The crudo was the most memorable part. It is def a miami dish. I loved the combination of citrus with the tuna. I hadn't had something like that before. The ambiance was busy but still quiet. The food was fresh and the drinks were good. Perfect for a couple drinks and apps in the grove.

New brunch spot in the heart of Coconut Grove at the Mayfair Hotel. We were seated outside in the patio area with a gorgeous view and a live band. All of the plates were excellent. The show stopper was definitely the key lime pancakes with graham cracker, wow! Going back to try the steak frites and burger.

Cute restaurant located in the Mayfair House Hotel and Garden in Coconut Grove. I came here for a dinner and breakfast since I was staying at the hotel. The food is pretty good and the servers were super friendly. I had a different server for each meal, and they both separately went above and beyond to chat with me and offer helpful suggestions. The restaurant itself is trendy and if you sit in the garden, you're surrounded by lush tropical plants. It's got a nice vibe all around. If I ever stay at the hotel again, I would love to come back!

My husband and I ate here twice for breakfast during our stay at the hotel, and we were really impressed both times. The breakfast options are solid, and everything we ordered was delicious. The first day, I had the acai bowl, which was amazing--super fresh and filling. The second day, I tried the Belgian waffle, and it was just as good. Both were definitely worth the price! My husband went with the avocado toast on the first day, but for $20, we felt it should have come with at least two pieces of toast; it only came with 1! He wasn't too impressed with that, but the next day, he ordered the fried egg sandwich, and it was way better. He also got a side of sausage, which was incredible--definitely a standout. The side of bacon was standard, and the tea was just as expected. Overall, we really enjoyed our breakfasts here and would definitely return if we're ever back in the area!

Good restaurant for sure! The ambiance is a cool vibe especially inside and the food is good. The service was great and they were very careful with my allergies. We ordered the steak tartare to start and it was the best thing we had. The chicken was really good and the steak was good too with an interesting miso based sauce. The tostones were also good but I would probably order something else next time. The oyster mushroom was good just needed a little sauce or something. All in all I know this restaurant will be even more amazing as time passes because the chef is one of the best!

This place is amazing! The service is very friendly and the ambience is just right for a casual dinner or date night. The sound of the water is so relaxing in the background and you feel just tucked away and it's gorgeous little grotto within the hotel. It's dog friendly, and the food is delicious. So clean and expertly prepared. I had the scallops, the potato croquettes, and the dole whip daiquiri. Will definitely be back soon!

Overall, between the quality of the food and Jasmine's outstanding service, I'd definitely come back again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid steakhouse experience in the Gables.

The reviews were excellent, and the Yelp photos, many of which appeared to be professional, looked fantastic. We made an early reservation for 6:00 pm but arrived a little ahead of schedule. The restaurant is conveniently located near CocoWalk in Coconut Grove. A few key takeaways right from the start: if you are looking for a quiet, intimate, or romantic dining experience, this may not be the place for you. The restaurant has a very large bar area, loud music, and a lively atmosphere. It feels much more suited for a night out with friends than a date night. We were seated in a booth, and despite arriving early, the noise level was surprisingly high. It was much louder than expected. Madison greeted us promptly and provided excellent recommendations. She was a fantastic server and truly made us feel welcome throughout the evening. We started with the Seared Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors was outstanding and easily one of the highlights of the meal. For my entree, I ordered the Miso Chilean Sea Bass served with Yukon mashed potatoes and broccolini. It was superb. I know some people may wonder who orders seafood at a steakhouse, but I am glad I did. My partner ordered the recommended ribeye, and we planned to share both dishes. We also ordered mushrooms as a side. Unfortunately, the ribeye steak was the biggest disappointment of the evening. The steak was very thin and excessively fatty, and not in the rich, marbled way you would expect from a quality ribeye. It was nothing like the thick, juicy steaks shown in the photos and fell well below expectations. We also ordered a trio of steak sauces including horseradish cream, chimichurri, and another sauce that was fairly unremarkable. The horseradish cream sauce was excellent and added much needed flavor to the steak. Since we barely ate the ribeye and ended up sharing more of my entree, we decided to order dessert. The crème brûlée, one of my personal favorites, was fantastic and provided a strong finish to the meal. Would I return? I am not sure. If I did, I would request seating in the outdoor area, which appeared noticeably quieter and more conducive to conversation. I would also skip the steak entirely and perhaps visit for lunch or an earlier meal. The total bill was approximately $200 before tip, and we did not order any alcoholic beverages. For that price point, I expected a much better steak experience.

A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.

Two small, stuffed and succulent pastries served with a spicy sriracha aioli - I highly recommend these. For entree I ordered the ever famous Steak & Eggs, which upon receipt feels like it may not be filling but don't let the lack of carbs fool you. The steak is cooked exactly to order and seasoned to perfection. Hands down, the best steak I've had here in Miami. The egg on top is a great touch, and the gravy at the bottom explodes with flavor. First of all, the vibes were immaculate. We sat outside and it was so peaceful at first because I think we were literally the first people there for happy hour/lunch. It felt like we unlocked a secret level before the crowd came. Perfect weather, great energy, good music, cute scenery... very "main character with a discounted cocktail" energy. Now let's talk FOOD. Every single dish we ordered was SO flavorful. Like somebody in that kitchen actually believes in seasoning and I just want to personally thank them for their service. Even the fries??? And let's have a serious conversation because not all fries deserve rights. Especially those thick overly battered fries that feel like you're chewing on drywall. These fries were thin, crispy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned... exactly how fries should be. No unnecessary jacket on them. Just vibes. The tuna tartare was AMAZING. Fresh, flavorful, light, addictive. I could've ordered another one and acted like it was "for the table." The calamari was cooked perfectly too. Nice and airy, tender, not rubbery. You know how some calamari fights back when you chew it? Not this one. Peaceful calamari. The edamame with the chunky sea salt was weirdly one of my favorite things. So simple but SO good. And the Korean wings??? BABY. Those were "cancel your evening plans and order another round" wings. We don't say "to die for" anymore because positivity, growth, healing... but let's just say I would dramatically think about those wings again later.
