Delicious cocktails and excellent bartender! I only stopped in for a drink but the guests sitting next to me said the key lime pie is the best they've ever had. Looking forward to coming back to try it.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, and the service was spectacular. We came as a large group and were seated outdoors. It was definitely hot, but the view and being able to sit together made it worth it. The food was pretty good overall. We ordered a bunch of appetizers standouts were the croquettes, tuna tartare, and shrimp tiradito. For my entrée, I had the skirt steak (just okay), but the tostones with cilantro sauce were delicious. I also tried my friend's lobster ravioli, which was spectacular. Drinks were solid I had a margarita. Most dishes were good, and the price point felt fair. We were a group of 16 and paid about $117 each, tip included.

Had brunch at Mayfair Grill for the Grove Brunch Club. We got a complimentary glass of mimosa. Lovely ambiance in the courtyard area. We sat outside by the waterfall. The live music added a nice touch. I had the egg and chicken sausage breakfast sandwich. It came with a side of potatoes. It was yummy and the breakfast potatoes were very flavorful. Service was also great.

Enjoyed the experience here for brunch. The ambiance is nice and live music was available too. The service was good as well. We had the fried egg sandwich with hash browns, a waffle, and a side of bacon.

Rapicavoli does it again! Great place to have taken over, so much personality! Have been itching to come here for a few weeks and decided to make it happen first weekend of the year. Walked right in on Sunday like at 1:30 p.m. and there's was plenty of seating at the bar and inside, but I chose to sit outside in the main "atrium" looking area of the hotel. Was given a nice spot facing the hotel interior that made me think of Morocco, and it set the mood perfectly. As soon as I was approached by my server I was given a compliment about my vibes lol, which I very much appreciated. Here's my chowdown: - Cafe Colada - Black Truffle & Potato Croquetas - Carajillo - Iberico Steak & Eggs - Bananavardier My server recommended much of what I ended up ordering, so kudos to Emily for the great recs. The brunch menu features the two coffee cocktails I ordered. The Colada has that "punch" upon first sip, while the Carajillo has a sweetness to it. Different but both were good. Loved the croquetas in between the cocktails, just wish they were bigger. The Iberico Steak & Eggs is actually a pork churrasco and it did the job. The Bananavardier was ok, probably would go for something else next time ... don't feel like there was much banana to it. Next visit will be for dinner!

I really loved this place! The vibes and view of sitting outside in the hotel patio was my favorite! I celebrated my Birthday here and it was 10/10! Service was great for such a large group. They really accommodated to my party and made it feel so special! It was also great that they were able to split everyone's checks individually.

I had been to the Mayfair grill before but I wanted to try it again after the revamp of the menu. I came here on Halloween night and I was able to get a seat right at the bar. The bartender walked over to me and asked what kind of water I wanted and gave me the menus. I liked that the drink menu had a whole expresso section. I ended up going with an expresso martini made with tequila reposado and it did not disappoint. I also ordered the truffle potato croquets and the crudo. The crudo was the most memorable part. It is def a miami dish. I loved the combination of citrus with the tuna. I hadn't had something like that before. The ambiance was busy but still quiet. The food was fresh and the drinks were good. Perfect for a couple drinks and apps in the grove.

New brunch spot in the heart of Coconut Grove at the Mayfair Hotel. We were seated outside in the patio area with a gorgeous view and a live band. All of the plates were excellent. The show stopper was definitely the key lime pancakes with graham cracker, wow! Going back to try the steak frites and burger.

Cute restaurant located in the Mayfair House Hotel and Garden in Coconut Grove. I came here for a dinner and breakfast since I was staying at the hotel. The food is pretty good and the servers were super friendly. I had a different server for each meal, and they both separately went above and beyond to chat with me and offer helpful suggestions. The restaurant itself is trendy and if you sit in the garden, you're surrounded by lush tropical plants. It's got a nice vibe all around. If I ever stay at the hotel again, I would love to come back!

My husband and I ate here twice for breakfast during our stay at the hotel, and we were really impressed both times. The breakfast options are solid, and everything we ordered was delicious. The first day, I had the acai bowl, which was amazing--super fresh and filling. The second day, I tried the Belgian waffle, and it was just as good. Both were definitely worth the price! My husband went with the avocado toast on the first day, but for $20, we felt it should have come with at least two pieces of toast; it only came with 1! He wasn't too impressed with that, but the next day, he ordered the fried egg sandwich, and it was way better. He also got a side of sausage, which was incredible--definitely a standout. The side of bacon was standard, and the tea was just as expected. Overall, we really enjoyed our breakfasts here and would definitely return if we're ever back in the area!

Good restaurant for sure! The ambiance is a cool vibe especially inside and the food is good. The service was great and they were very careful with my allergies. We ordered the steak tartare to start and it was the best thing we had. The chicken was really good and the steak was good too with an interesting miso based sauce. The tostones were also good but I would probably order something else next time. The oyster mushroom was good just needed a little sauce or something. All in all I know this restaurant will be even more amazing as time passes because the chef is one of the best!

This place is amazing! The service is very friendly and the ambience is just right for a casual dinner or date night. The sound of the water is so relaxing in the background and you feel just tucked away and it's gorgeous little grotto within the hotel. It's dog friendly, and the food is delicious. So clean and expertly prepared. I had the scallops, the potato croquettes, and the dole whip daiquiri. Will definitely be back soon!

Koko is among the natural tree canopy of Coconut Grove, the 6,000 sq ft indoor & outdoor restaurant & bar transported us to Mexico with its sophisticated and artistic design, cacti garden, and outdoor bar & terrace. The 170 seat restaurant & bar conveys a fun, lively & warm setting to enjoy our Mexican meal. The open view kitchen allowed us to watch the handcrafted tortilla baking & wall showcasing over 400 mezcales & tequilas. We sat outdoors in the magnificent cacti garden. We started with frozen margaritas, they were smoky, icy cold & refreshing. We opted to share a skirt steak taco platter, passing up the insects on the menu. The tacos came out in minutes before our margaritas. The skirt steak was lean, juicy, and so tender we could cut it with a fork. Our meal was absolutely excellent. An 18% service charge was added to our bill. Service was quick and on point.

Before going, we called the restaurant to ask if they would be showing the World Cup games, and we were told they would be showing all of them. Based on that, we expected a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There aren't enough TVs, many of the views are obstructed, and we actually had to move to the bar just to see part of the game. Even then, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear the match at all. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that ownership's instructions were to play music instead of the game's audio. That was especially surprising considering this is a Mexican-owned restaurant and the match was a Mexico World Cup game. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. To be fair, the restaurant was only about half full, so this wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed by a packed house or unusually heavy demand. I was there with two female friends. I ordered a martini while my friends simply asked for water. The bartender reacted as if asking for water was somehow an inconvenience. We weren't even served chips and salsa until we repeatedly waved down members of the staff and specifically requested them. The bartenders consistently ignored us. My friends waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back so they could order their martinis. We later ordered guacamole and the Leña skirt steak. The guacamole arrived promptly, but the steak never did. When we asked another bartender to check on it, he looked in the system and told us there was no food order entered at all. This was unbelievable because the original bartender had described the dish, asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and appeared to take the order. He simply never entered it. When we complained to the manager about the missing food, he told us the kitchen was already closed but that he would "make an exception" and have the steak prepared for us. That response really upset me because this wasn't us asking for special treatment--it was the restaurant trying to correct its own mistake. I told him to simply cancel the order. He then said not to worry because he wouldn't charge us for it, as if not charging for a meal would somehow make up for the experience we had just endured. I declined the offer, but he responded by saying he would bring it anyway and that if we didn't want it, we could just leave it there. To me, that response was even more dismissive and completely missed the point. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were inattentive, dismissive, and consistently rude. Their attitude completely overshadowed what had always been one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove. By halftime, we had simply had enough. Instead of continuing what should have been a fun night, we decided to leave the restaurant and go home, where we watched the rest of the Mexico match in the comfort of my home. Sadly, that turned out to be the best part of the night. I'm writing this review because I know Koko is capable of much better. My previous visits have always been enjoyable, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, if you're planning to watch a World Cup match there, I would strongly recommend choosing another venue. While they may tell you they'll be showing the game, the viewing experience is poor, the game audio is replaced with loud music, and based on our visit, the service was, without question, the worst I've experienced there since the restaurant opened. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because Koko has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I'd like to be able to recommend it again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I simply can't.

The restaurant sits next to the Coconut Grove marina, and is accessible by land or sea. The atmosphere always feels like you're on a Caribbean vacation. Our server was Iria and she was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu and perfectly attendant. She wasn't hovering over us but checked on us enough where we were perfectly taken care of. We started with an order of the peel & eat shrimp. This is seasoned with old bay and it was delicious; only complaint is they weren't cleaned very well, several of them were cut open but the "vein" was still very present. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, probably should give 3 but the rest really made up for it. For the main courses my bf had the seafood pasta which he said was good, although the sauce was a bit plain (he described it as having a ragu flavor). I had the Baja tacos at his suggestion and boy was it a good recommendation. It comes with 3 tacos and they are packed with fish. They were absolutely delicious. The tacos also come with a small side of elote which had a strong citrus flavor, absolutely delicious. All in all, I don't know why we don't come here more often but we will. They have a live band that started playing right away so it made our meals more enjoyable. I didn't get a chance to snap pictures since we all started eating as soon as the food came. We shared appetizers - Gator Bites, very tender and flavorful! I highly recommend! The Yucca Fries (We've only had them in Sanc Juan) were so good! A must try, if you haven't had them. The Crispy Crab Cake Bites were utterly delicious! Main dish - I had the Grouper with mango salsa, black beans and rice. It was a good portion and was cooked perfectly. It paired nicely with the mango salsa. Chris raved about the Seafood ceviche! It was fresh with tons of fish, shrimp and octopus. Brian had a dozen fresh oysters. They were fresh and juicy!

A Slice of Amalfi in the Grove…read more I wasn't aware Miami had a piece of the Amalfi Coast hidden in the Grove... Baia Blu is officially your next gourmet cucina italiana destination. L'Ambiente e l'Accoglienza The moment I passed by, I was met with the incredible calore of Maria. She gave me a tour that felt like a stroll through Positano. The aesthetic here is wonderfully eccentric; it perfectly captures that Southern Campania Italian soul. Between the limone lamps, the intricate fresco paintings, the lush vegetable wall, the Raffaella Carrà music playing, and the romantic glow of the patio, it feels like a secret trattoria tucked in the Grove. Servizio con Passione Maria owns her presence with such typical Italian pride, and the rest of the team follows suit. Ambrogio, Carlo, and Ernesto play their parts as typical Italian characters as well, charismatic and laid-back. They have that typical South Italian "easy-going" attitude while remaining completely attentive to every request. They truly host you like family. Il Sapore del Mare e della Terra The menu stays true to coastal traditions: * L'Antipasto: We began with an authentic, fresh Burrata Pugliese that complemented the focaccia perfectly. The cheese was incredibly creamy, blending beautifully with the tomatoes. Then came the Frutti di Mare, perfectly croccante (crunchy) with that hit of sea salt that makes you crave the ocean. * I Secondi: I opted for the Branzino Mediterraneo with salmoriglio sauce. It was so light and fresh, it felt like a true "catch of the day." I paired it with Truffle Fries that had a delicate, sophisticated scent. * La Pasta: We couldn't resist sharing the Pear & Gorgonzola Agnolotti. The gorgonzola cream sauce was difficult to resist to not dip it in the warm crusty Focaccia and perform the "scarpetta", we soaked up every last drop of that sauce! I had a taste of my friend's Swordfish (breaded alla Milanese), which was a great, protein-packed dish. Next time, I am definitely coming back for the Scaloppine di Vitello "Sorrento" with the lemon veal reduction; seeing them served so tender with those roasted Brussels sprouts made my mouth water. Il Dolce Finale You cannot leave without the Tiramisu. I'm usually not the biggest fan of this classic, but this one was a revelation, it was actually my favorite and paired with my legit Kimbo coffe. It even beat out the (also delicious) Pistachio Creamy Cake, which would have taken the top spot if only it had an extra punch of creamy pistachio spread to top it off. Now there is a huge downside that you immediately encounter when you arrive. The parking lot is exceptionally small and people are parked every which way, except in the spaces. Getting to the actual building will take some time. The neighboring lots have pretty clear signs that they will tell you if you park there. So you're stuck dealing with what it is. The fish variety is good, although not great. If you're looking for strictly local fish, you'll probably find what you want. Several varieties of snapper and the fish looked wonderful and fresh. Some of my favorites like hogfish and grouper. You can buy the whole fish and they'll fillet it for you or you can buy fillets if they have them of the fish that you want. But the part I missed is having them cook it for me. Now that is something I would like to try next time The downside is they strictly local fish. You won't find any flatfish and I was surprised that they did not have any U4 or U6 shrimp which I like to use to make paella. In addition, I did not see fresh scallops. They did have some nice lobster tails although I did not see other shellfish. Some people have said the prices are reasonable; I found them about 20 to 30% higher than other fish markets I visit. The people here are really nice in the market is attractive. I will be back as I said to get a meal cooked for me in part because it is closer than the fish markets I usually visit and also my curiosity after reading other reviews. I recommend this market if you have the patience to wait for a parking space. If you're looking for the larger shrimp for paella look elsewhere
