Chupe de camarones.

I come here frequently with my co-workers for lunch. They have a pretty good lunch deal. You get an appetizer, and an entree and a glass of Chicha or lemonade for $19. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious!

Ceviche Costazul and a Pisco Sour (already half gone!)

The ceviche costazul was special, as was the pisco sour I washed it down with. I also had the lomo costazul which was delightful. I love Peruvian cuisine and this place checked all the boxes.

Costazul is a fairly new restaurant here in the Gables area. I love trying new restaurants and on this specific special night we were in the mood for a good authentic Peruvian ceviche and searching for the right restaurant I stumbled on Costazul and decided to try them out. I recommend outside seating, the ambience and energy outside is absolutely spectacular. We ordered Octopus served on a hot platter with potatoes and the classic Corvina ceviche. They both were delicious. Excellent presentation and even more excellent pick. I love me a good ceviche and I'm very picky with it too. I approve Costazul Peruvian Cuisine. Perfect spot for a nice romantic wine night & dinner with that special person.

Seems like a solid Peruvian restaurant in coral gables. I won't call it "can't miss" Peruvian or that I can't wait to go back. The portion sizes are great, and the flavors are good.

Giralda was unusually empty for a Saturday night, and we had our choice of great dining options. We decided to stop at what was previously Divino Ceviche, now Costazul and they're starting strong with some fantastic dishes and attentive service. We decided to sit outside to people watch, and enjoy a night without rain and a break from the recent record breaking heat. Our server checked on us constantly and kept our water glasses full. We started with a ceviche mixto (sorry we were hungry and dug in before thinking to take a photo). I think you can tell a lot about a Peruvian restaurant by its ceviche. This one was excellent, the chunks of fish were hefty, and amount of seafood in the ceviche was plentiful. For main courses, my bf had the arroz con mariscos, he said it was good but definitely would have liked more mariscos in the dish. I had the corvina a la plancha which comes with vegetables and mashed potatoes... and oh my goodness was this good!? The potatoes are a cream dream of potatoes and aji amarillo, which was so delicious and the vegetables were tender and flavor packed I couldn't stop eating them, the corvina was also good but the sides absolutely stole the show on this dish. We'll definitely be back, and I'll definitely be looking forward to the sides and maybe trying a different protein. All in all, welcome to the neighborhood Costazul

Little Peruvian restaurant tucked away on Giralda Ave. they have a large menu with lots of variety. The food was good. Staff was attentive and friendly. The indoor section is small but there is a fair amount of tables outdoors.

I was immediately greeted by the owners and seated at a table. Very attentive and clean. The food was extremely fresh and delicious and came out pretty quick. Owners gave a complimentary shot on the house. Definitely worth coming back and enjoying perhaps the outside sitting during the cool weather hours

We came to see if they were really worthy of the 5 stars and let me tell you, they absolutely are. From the service to the food our experience was so pleasant that it reminded me of a homemade meal. We started with the mini causas and we particularly loved the crab one. The sizes were also perfect. We had the lomo saltado and the corvina risotto. It was the first time I was asked what term I wanted the lomo cooked and I was pleasantly surprised to see how accurate the term was. The meat was juicy and tender and not overly seasoned. You could taste the the beef and the smokiness in the sauce, just delicious. The risotto was another hit. The depth of flavor and the cooking of the risotto itself were perfect. They serve a full corvina with the dish, fried to perfection and just as impressive as anything we had in this place. The ambiance was very welcoming and the staff truly reminded me of what hospitality should be. This became our favorite Peruvian restaurant and we will certainly return.

Maracuyá! (This was my personal favorite!)

This place was really good! The owners were so sweet and welcoming, the food here was so yummy definitely a must! Even the music was nice, what a good vibe.

In the morning my wife had their "version of a pancake" which was very custardy in the middle and a bit strange but still good. You want to make a pancake where it is cooked on the outside and still soft on the inside? Sure, why not. The Biltmore Bar has an elegant old Hollywood ambiance decorated with immaculate gold and brass decorative light fixtures, decor pieces, furniture and finishes that are unique to the one of a kind luxury that encapsulates the Biltmore. The service was exactly what you'd expect the Biltmore to be, exceptional! The bartender prepared exceptional Cocktails, both stiff and beautiful to sip on. They were raving about how much they enjoyed the Biltmore Bar when they were here a few weeks prior, so we all decided to go together. Despite it being a weekend, we got a table right as we walked in. All the seats at the bar also appeared to be available, but were all taken within a half hour after we showed up. They had live music that was wonderful. It just added to the ambiance. Our server came over pretty quickly and we ordered drinks. They have a huge drink selection and I think they are well priced despite it being The Biltmore. I got the Heartbreaker martini for $18 and it was so delicious! It was light and fruity, just what I was looking for. My husband got an espresso martini that was also delish. Our server left us to hang out but periodically checked on us. I just loved everything about this place. If you're looking for a refined, chill environment to enjoy a drink, definitely come here.

You can choose from a cozy ground-floor terrace, a lush indoor dining room, or the rooftop (Mamey on 3rd), perfect for happy hour with live music. The service was efficient and friendly, Ken took great care of us and made sure everything flowed smoothly. The menu has a great variety and everything is beautifully presented. I started with the sweet-sauce chicken wings, perfectly crispy and full of flavor, followed by a round of tacos, some with beef, others with chicken, fresh and well balanced. I also had the chance to shake things up with an espresso martini or known as RumWake. It had all those rich coffee aromas and an interesting twist from a banana nut texture. It was good, but I still prefer the classic version. Their mojito, which I usually don't enjoy, totally surprised me, bright mint notes toned down the sweetness just right. At Mamey, they call it the "Mint Condition," and it's definitely worth a conditional try. The one drink I liked the least was the Serata, essentially an Aperol spritz with Asian gin blended with Prosecco. It felt watered down and the flavors just didn't come together for me. Overall, Mamey delivers a unique "island-minded" experience that blends flavors from the Caribbean, Asia, and Latin America. Between the beautiful setting, creative menu, great cocktails (with a couple of misses), and attentive service, it's a spot I'd come back to for both casual nights and special occasions.

We've come here a few times in recent weeks and the place is running nearly the same as it always has for at least a few decades, through changes in drag hosts, management and even changes to this venue's name over those years. We tend to come just before showtime so there's normally always a cover (worth it for the entertainment patrons get to see), friendly bartenders and a drag show featuring talented performers, with at least one normally interacting with patrons and doing comedy during a break in the performances, before opening up the floor for dancing once the show is complete. Azucar isn't located near much of anything else when it comes to nightlife, it's a bit divey - definitely nothing fancy or glamorous, and it's probably not worth the drive from the beach just to check it out, as at least one other reviewer mentioned. Also, all shows and entertainment, aside from lyrics to a few songs here and there are in Spanish with no English translation, so if you don't speak Spanish or have someone who can interpret at least some of the funniest bits that get the most laughs, you may not fully understand what's happening or may feel a bit left out. That said, if you're just looking for a solid drag show or appreciate Latin nightlife, this is definitely an option.
