Free dessert

I had ordered cooked sushi and I received raw sushi, I got a refund and ordered again, and they where really nice and added free dessert, I lot the sushi from there and they were really nice about it!!!

We visited Belly Fish on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with friends. The authenticity and quality of the food really stand out -- everything tasted fresh, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. A fun fact that make Belly Fish even more interesting:The co-founder and chef, Rodrigo Bravo, trained under renowned chefs like Joan Roca and Masaharu Morimoto, which explains the elevated, fine-sushi feel. Overall, Belly Fish was a gem!

Agua chile

The agua Chile was my favorite!! So fresh and amazing flavors. The sushi was also very good! My only complaint is they were out of thing when I went but that's probably because everything is fresh and I went two hours before they were closing. Definitely coming back to try some of those items I wasn't able to! I love how fast everything came out!

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every dish, especially the tuna tostada. The restaurant has a very busy takeout area, which is separate from the dining area. It's a modern space and everything, including the bathroom, is clean. Unfortunately, several items we requested were not available. Also, while the server was friendly and efficient, she seemed stretched thin. The restaurant is very busy and could probably benefit from additional servers. The excellent food, however, stands out above all else.

Belly Fish is continues to impress with its new sit down part of the restaurant. The decor is simple and elegant, the wait staff is constantly helping you with every little thing. And the food is just as delicious. My favorite dish there doesn't even involve fish. It's the miso eggplant bowl that is a wonderful addition to their fish heavy menu. Don't get me wrong the sushi is also delicious and their sauces, especially eel sauce, are divine.

Scored a great pickup from Belly Fish on Uber Eats--they always have killer deals and steals! The fish tasted super fresh, the spicy mayo is insanely good (that creamy kick is perfect), and my absolute favorites were the crispy rice and the tuna tostada. The tuna belly fish is definitely up there as one of the best quick spots for solid sushi in Miami. Highly recommend--fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite!

Chirashi

Quickly becoming a go-to for me! Came here twice already and ordered either the spice menu. The salmon sashimi appetizer is really tasty and I also liked the tuna one. The chirashi is great and I also liked the sushi combo. Place is clean and the sushi is nicely plated and tasty. Love that it's simple! We need more of that in miami. Nice servers.

Sushi is good and prices are reasonable but service was not good when I went. What I expected to be a quick lunch took over an hour

We've been here twice for Miami Spice already - that says how much we love this place. I've heard great things about Belly Fish back when it was take out only, but I live too far away to be ordering take out from there. I am thrilled therefore they now have a brick and mortar store and finally Miami Spice gives me the perfect excuse to drag my husband along. We really like the decor of the place, which reflects what their sushi is like, simple, elegant, restrained. Just fresh, clean fish, simple and delicious, not overloaded with sauces and a load of ingredients. There are not a lot of varieties in fish, but whatever they have is high quality. The first time we went, we were disappointed that none of the dessert options was available - due to a busy weekend. Seriously? It was a Wednesday. But the waiter offered us cookies, or another handroll instead, an offer we gladly took up, as there were so many things we wanted to try on the menu. For our second visit, the menu indicates that we can sub a dessert for handroll or miso soup. A great option for people who don't have a sweet tooth. Their regular prices are pretty reasonable for the quality, so it's a place I can regularly come for my sushi fix. My only complain is that street parking is not easy to find. You can park at Milan's garage though. The first few levels are for the supermarket only but a few levels up you can pay and park, $5 for the whole day.

To me, Belly Fish is an elevated fast casual sushi spot. They offer many varieties of fish, and even have ikura (salmon roe) based plates for roe lovers. The service is quick and easy and everything is nicely plated into these compartmentalized boxes. I love that they offer more than soy sauce. They have chipotle ponzu and yuzu ponzu (my favorite). I've never had an issue with the fish, it seems to be fresh, but the cuts are generally slightly smaller than other restaurants. The lunch combos seem to be worthwhile, offering a side on top of the main course. I love their yuzu broccolini! Overall, this is a pretty good option for fast casual sushi in Miami.

Miami Spice Menu 2025 (Dinner). The food was delicious! My personal favorites were the eel hand roll, the torched faroe islands salmon belly, and the mascarpone cheesecake. The Miami Spice menu is great because you get to try a little bit of everything, and I would definitely go back to try those three things in more quantity. The service was good! They had an attentive wait staff. We didn't make reservations, and they were still able to accommodate us. The place is cute! It's part of a new building. So, it has a fresh, open space aspect to it. There is limited parking. You either have to park on the street or in a residential parking garage. We risked parking in the Milam's parking garage (which is also a residential parking garage) since it was early enough (Saturday at 6:00 PM), but if you like the Metrorail, it is located right next to the Douglas station (Green Line).

Five stars for the amazing and fresh fish and delicious meal! I placed an order for pick up and got really good BOGO deals that saved me a lot! When I arrived to the restaurant, I thought it was very cute and cozy. Where they fell short in earning five stars is in the service from the young lady who is in the front. She was working with those of us who had a pick up. She was unorganized and the people she was nice and respectful to was the guys who were picking up orders. I said good evening, and her response was what do you want? It was wild, but at the same time not surprising. Customer service is an essential part of my experience wherever I go. I would go back because the food was great. Be sure to check it out and I hope you have a better experience. Enjoy!

Came here for Miami Spice and had a good time. Service was slow so I didn't need a reservation. I have to say the customer service was good and all the fish we had was vet fresh and flavorful. The band roll was amazing I wish i could have more. The tostada and crispy rice was amazing too everything was excellent and the presentation was beautiful.

It is small, beautiful with open space, and intimate that you will enjoy very much. The music is piped in and is relaxing. They provide excellent service and show pride of ownership. We didn't have reservations but we were welcomed and even received the best seats in the house. Our server was Francisco, who has worked there a long time, was excellent! We chose the Oma Deluxe because we wanted the entire experience. Francisco explained each sushi and what part of the fish we were eating. Each dish was brought out separately. There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. What a great experience! Give it a try when you can. Later, we went upstairs to ASTRA restaurant and bar to further enjoy our evening with beautiful views of Miami. Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

From the moment we arrived, the ambiance and location created the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. The food truly exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend the Miso Black Cod -- it was phenomenal and had the same rich, buttery texture as Chilean sea bass. Absolutely delicious. The Wagyu Burger was also outstanding -- freshly ground, high quality, and cooked perfectly. We also tried one of their sushi rolls topped with miso and filled with fresh tuna and salmon, and it was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Our server (I didn't catch her name -- an Asian woman, possibly in her 40s) was wonderful and made our experience even more enjoyable with her attentive and warm service. We truly loved this place and are already looking forward to coming back, especially to explore more of their sushi menu. Highly recommend!

The covered terrace is stunning -- Japanese paper lanterns, string lights, tropical foliage. The Dragon Fruit Lemonade mocktails arrived orchid-garnished and vivid fuchsia. My Wahakan Old Fashioned came with a single spherical ice ball in a crystal-cut glass. Food highlights: Baby Corn in parmesan cream with paprika was the dish of the night. Crispy Truffle Fried Rice hearty and satisfying. Miso soup clean. Salmon Furai solid. Sushi enjoyable though the rice lacks the refinement of Miami's top raw bars. Vegetarians: limited options -- one Veggie Roll and uncertain tofu preparation when we asked to add it to the rice. Service warm but plates were cleared twice while we were still eating. On billing: 20% service charge added automatically, then the receipt suggests an extra 2-5% tip on top -- worth knowing upfront. OpenTable users: if you're redeeming a Dining Reward card, the staff hadn't encountered one before -- but the manager handled it graciously and honored the full amount without issue. Family-friendly, fair value, genuinely memorable evening.

We got there a bit before our reservation time, and they let us sit in the smaller dining area as we waited for our spots to open up. We all did the $200 tasting and we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the bites. It's 8 courses that range from a nigiri sampler, small bites, and dessert. Most memorable were the clam broth, beef loin and carrots, and the fatty tuna nigiri with caviar on top. The fatty tuna nigiri with caviar was the main reason I wanted the tasting! There is an à la carte menu too, but it was a lot easier just letting the chefs portion out our meal. Would definitely check them out and enjoy a superb evening out!

The hovering over people in this tiny, little whole in the wall restaurant felt overwhelming. I started to lose my patience being that there is so much staff standing around and found myself several times having to pour my own wine bottle. 2nd, I told them it was my son's birthday and nobody went out of their way to make his birthday special! And just a fair warning, you will spend over a $1000 dollars and walk out of there still very hungry! What a disappointment! Furthermore, they price gouge people trying to pass off as if his restaurant is Michelin worthy! An absolute joke! And here's the "best part" when I tried to voice my concerns, I was told to leave! I was very polite and instead of hearing me out, trying to make my experience better, I get told to leave! How disgusting! Please don't come here. The ambiance is terrible, overwhelming, and you will get sick because they have no consideration for cross contamination!

I truly appreciate when servers know their menu well and are able to make suggestions. I can't remember my server's name, but she was just top-notch. We ordered: - Miso soup, (served in a charming, Japanese chawan mushi cup) the flavor was really good and strong. (I hate it when it's weak) - Spicy dumplings. They tasted homemade. Yummy - Shrimp shu mai, good, tasted as it should - Tanaka roll, with extra crispies on top, (I was not a fan because I did not expect it to be deep-fried. if it had not been deep-fried, I would've liked it.) - Peking duck served in an impressive three tier tower that looks like a round Chinese Temple. - Pork Belly Bao bun, this was also a miss for me because I expected it to taste like barbecue, but it was just really salty like they used a lot of brown salty sauce. All in all, I really enjoyed this restaurant, even though I didn't like those two items. Bec But, because of the excellent service, the atmosphere and the beautiful way they served the food, I decided to leave them a five star review. Those dishes weren't bad they just weren't what I expected. We don't live in the area so if we were to stay in this hotel again, we would definitely dine here again. I'm not sure what they add to it, but it is delicious. If you have room for dessert, the fried milk is interesting because it has several different flavors and textures you can combine. The one dish I would not necessarily recommend is the madai crudo, which needed a little more flavor in my opinion. Service is good both at the tables and in the bar area.

The crab cake curry as surprisingly tasty, with the savory salty crab balanced by the creamy slightly spicy curry sauce. The chicken skewers had a nice flavor although could have been a little juicier. All of the nigiris were fresh and flavorful, and they even accidentally brought us another table's order of salmon nigiri which they realized and said it was on the house as an anniversary gift!
