Great happy hour menu! We tried everything but the oysters on the happy hour food menu and everything was delicious! The short rib tacos and grilled olives were my fave!
Great happy hour spot for cocktails and mocktails! Apps were good too! Parking behind the miracle theater is always convenient and our service was great! I highly recommend the white Negroni with mezcal my date loved it!
I finally tried this yummy place for happy hour on the weekend! We started at the bar while we waited for our table and the bartender was great! We were there for happy hour on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not busy. I ordered their white wine on the happy hour menu and it was very refreshing! Once we moved to the table we ordered oysters on their happy hour menu and they were refreshing and delicious! The ambiance was modern and minimal. The service was great and the restaurant has a good amount of tables both inside and outside but I suggest making a reservation in order to guarantee a spot! Check out their specials during the week! They offer deep discounts on bottles of wine!
We went with a group and sat outside with perfect Miami weather. My husband got the black risotto that came with shrimp, mussels, scallops, calamari, and something called laksa sauce. It was delicious. Most of us ordered the chicken Meunière which was an enormous serving of chicken cooked with lemon, herbs, mushrooms, sautéed potatoes. Needless to say, I had the most delicious lunch of leftovers the next day.
Came back for the Oysters and they did not disappoint. Over all it was a lovely experience however I did find that the food quality was not as consistent as the first time I came here. The octopus starter was delicious with its romesco sauce and charred yuca. The short rib was perfectly cooked. The Tar Tar left something to be desired as they provided one wonton crisp that was stale. The carrot cake while promising also showed signs of not being fresh as it had a dense crust that only comes with not soaking a cake and putting it in the fridge. Once we soaked the cake it was fine but not what I expected when the server presented it as the best dessert on the menu. Service was overall great, our server was attentive and calm proving genuine service. Still recommending this location for their overall ambiance but I'll be sure to stick to the favorites next time:
Restaurants in Miami can feel like that meme that goes, "This is what people think I do; This is what I actually do." However, Vinya Table is the real deal. They take the wine bar description seriously. As opposed to wine bars that just put small tables inside a wine store, Vinya Table has the ambiance, decor, attentive staff and menu worthy of its Miracle Mile location. Oddly enough, my first experience with Vinya Table was at its stand inside the TimeOut Market in SoBe. I fell in love with the concept thanks to the knowledgeable Somm who was chatty and passionate about the wine he was pouring. He was a virtuoso in describing terroirs and flavor profiles, so I had to check out the flagship in Coral Gables. I've been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years now, and it never disappoints. Here, I've gone on first dates, caught up with friends at the bar or pre-gamed before going to Copper29 next door. And, every time it's a treat. I think they hire their staff from a casting agency because there are no bad looking people on the team. I'm not saying it makes the food or wine taste better, but it doesn't hurt. They revamped the menu recently, and it feels more tightly edited -- like there's a new intention behind it. The tapas, charcuterie and mains all seem more cohesive with the wine and cocktail list. Usually I see "themed" wine lists like, "bright," "old world," "classics," or "bold" as gimicky and overreaching, but Vinya Table does a better job at this. The fact that they had a well priced Gigondas by the glass, showed their sophistication and confidence in local diners, knowing they would appreciate it. I had two glasses to wash down a somewhat chewy medium-rate skirt steak. I was surprised how inexpensive it was for 10oz., but in this case I got what I paid for. At least my trainer was going to be thrilled to hear I was watching my macros. Nonetheless, I will come back for the terrific wine, lively atmosphere and varied dishes.
TLDR: I'd probably come for happy hour and skip having a full-priced meal here. Food: solid but not out of this world. We ordered the smoked burrata and arthichokes for an appetizer and the gnocchi as a main. Smoked burrata wasn't very smokey, it came covered with smoke inside it, but the smoke flavor didn't make it into the burrata at all, it was just presentation. The pesto was a little overwhelming. The beets were plain. The artichokes were very good, tarty and 5 nice size pieces, with the tzatziki sauce, would definitely recommend those. Gnocchi was different- it was stuffed with cheese! I wasn't expecting that. They were soft but not as pillowy is I've had elsewhere. The sauce is tasty. It might not look like it but I thought there was enough mushrooms for the dish. Service: Great! They let us take our time. They did keep refilling the water which I always appreciate. They provided new plates after our apps for the main meal which was nice too. Wine selection is good, with a variety on the list. It's cool they have a wine shop in the back.
Came here to dine with business associates - fantastic concept of an eclectic retail wine library where you can pick up any bottle at retail price and then pay a $25 corkage fee, which still makes it vastly cheaper that ordering off the wine list, in most cases. So I selected a beautiful 2015 Pugnane Baroloto pair its dry tar and roses with our red meat dishes. But before all that, we had bacon wrapped scallops burnt with a demi glaze and adorned with a sweet prunish paste - what a marvel of a concoction in a small bite sized hors d' oeuvre. Next was an heirloom salad that was surprisingly plain with only red Roma (or garden) varieties and nothing else. Meh. Ribeye was prepared succulently perfect medium rare. Easy to cut and even easier to chew - no sauce or jus required here. Asparagus was an afterthought. The plate needed a starch, however, just a little dollop of mashed something would have resulted in a better balance. Decanting and serving the wine per my instruction plus subsequent pours executed flawlessly. Only thing - speed of service very slow, even by authentic Italian standards. It took forever even to get our entree order in. I think when you open a bottle selected to pair with the entree, the clock starts ticking and you shouldn't have to be drinking the last pour of the bottle when the entrees finally arrive. Clean elegant decor and good spacing between tables so never felt crowded or loud. Perfect place for great conversation and great wine. That's all....
Miami Spice flew by too fast and left me with a long list of places I have yet to try. Decision, decision! I am glad that Vinya Table is a worthy finale. My fellow Yelpies haven't let me down! I love morcilla sausage so appetizer is a no-brainer. The wonton wrapper makes it even better, adding some delightful crunch. Their gnocchi is made in house, each little nugget with some asiago cheese hidden inside. It's like stuffed crust pizza or cheese stuffed anything... you can't go wrong. And oh, the tiramisu!! Lovely presentation with taste to match. The freeze dried berries again provide extra crunch as well as tartness to balance the sweetness. It's amazing how the chef managed to sprinkle these little creative touches to add complexity and flavor to the dishes, totally elevating them to another level... a heavenly level. If you love wine, be sure to walk to the back to check out their impressive selection. Pick one or two to enjoy right here with your food, or take home for another occasion. And don't forget to check out their website for the many tasting events they host - from casual walk around tasting to sit down pairing dinner. They'll turn you into a wine pro in no time!
One word, amazing. I came here with a few coworkers for lunch and we had a great experience. First of all it was during Miami Spice and it was so refreshing to not have to ask for the menu as their Miami Spice menu was already embedded in their regular menu, thank you. We each got a different appetizer to share and for entrees we had the short rib sandwich and salmon. The food tasted amazing and the presentation was great too. Our server was very friendly. The overall experience was on the slow side but we didn't mind since we weren't in a rush. The restaurant is very nicely decorated too and had intimate vibes. There's no parking but there's a parking garage across the street. Can't wait to be back!
Came here for a wine tasting. They had this private upstairs room that provided privacy. The place is very quaint and I would love to come back to try to the food and drinks here. The service was great and the little charcuterie we had was good.
I had heard about vinya before by other yelp elites as well as other friends but had never been. I finally got to give it a try and was NOT disappointed! Vinya is a restaurant located on miracle mile that can be described as modern. There is plenty outside seating to people watch and the restaurant has a nice small inside. The inside is pretty with wine lined up and down the restaurant. The amount of wine in there was insane! But it makes for a beautiful backdrop when eating. When I got there, I had a few friends waiting for me to eat. I ordered their house bubbly that was delish. I then had the lobster fondue for dinner. It was AMAZING! I definitely recommend. My friends had ordered a charcuterie board while waiting and the other had gotten the burger which she said was OUTSTANDING. I definitely want to return. It seems that they have an ever-changing menu which i love. I would love to return and try something else and perhaps have a couple more glasses of wine.

Greeted with a refreshing wine tasting right at the door. Beautiful outdoor or indoor seating. Tried the sangria for two (rose) and the happy hour croquettes and were not disappointed in the slightest. Ambiance is relaxing, especially if you love people watching. read more

My friend and I were not sure where we wanted to eat and we came across Vinya Table by chance. We sat outside although the inside had a nice bar and seating area as well. It was a beautiful day so we enjoyed the warm sunshine while we indulged. We were absolutely delighted with the selection of food and everything we tried was spectacular. We started with the pinky up martinis and tried two appetizers. We were so torn but asked the server what he recommended. He didn't steer us wrong! The potatas bravas had a different fusion of flavors because it was topped with tuna crudo and caviar! The smoked burrata was phenomenal because of the mixed flavors combined with a slight hint of crushed pistachio topping. It wasn't an overpowering pistachio flavor though but it certainly complimented the cheese with a slight crunch texture. Then for the main course. Again we were torn between the options but asked the server between a couple of dishes that we were stuck between and he told us the Rigatoni was his favorite. Although I was not thinking that a pasta dish could be that amazing... it truly was! The bacon flavored and complemented the sauce and freshly grated Parmesan cheese exquisitely. I could have had 2 full dishes of this for myself but I held back and just shared the one dish with my friend. Lol!! Of course I knew that they had to have a dessert that I wanted to try. The dessert we chose didn't sound that appealing to me at first but again the server told us it was not going to disappoint us. He was right! The carrot cake tres leches was the perfect finish to this obviously delicious meal! we could barely walk back to the car with how full we felt but we said that we would definitely be back and bringing other friends. read more

This was the first time we had visited Vinya. The ambiance was nice although a bit loud the atmosphere is modern and friendly. We started with cocktails and tapas. There's a wide selection of tapas and strong, creative mixologist. All of the tapas were delicious and shareable. The Charcuterie was plentiful and the Lamb Baklava was incredibly flavorful. Could have enjoyed the lamb baklava as the main course it was so good! The Lamb Mousaka was also delicious and plenty for two. Although we were 8 the service was fine but the mains for some of our friends did not come out as expected. Overdone meats:( We will return to Vinya as the choices are varied and the drinks were excellent. read more
I was here for my friend's event and had a wonderful time. To park you can do so at any of the parking lots in Coral Gables miracle miles or on the streets like I did and used my phone app. Service was nice and the inside design decoration was beautiful. The drinks were spectacular as well as their cheese and charcuterie. read more

Dear Wendy,…
Our book club decided to make reservations to celebrate our year book club anniversary at Vinya. It's a modern twist to wine tasting. If you prefer to dine under the lights, there's plenty of outdoor seating with great vantage point to people watch those walking on miracle mile. Inside the restaurant is just as lovely as their outdoor seating. There are variations of wines for every palate lined up around the restaurant. First time having bacon wrapped dates & my goodness were they delicious! Than again you can't go wrong with bacon. Their manchego croquetas were creamy and yummy. Made my eyes close with each bite. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu and the tres leche carrot cake. The tiramisu had a wonderful and interactive presentation , having the waitress ensemble the dessert at our table. I would recommend taking advantage of their happy hour & diving into their appetizers read more

Love having new wine bar alternatives Coral Gables. Vinya has beautiful decor, gives you such a relaxing vibe from the moment you walk in.. the bartender gave us samples of the happy hour wines, I went with the Rose and really enjoyed it. I also tried Ceci's Sangria for two, which was not too sweet, and really refreshing- my favorite! I tried the dates & manchego croquettes and loved them! I must compliment the staff, very attentive & made great suggestions! Service was A+ read more

Finally made it out to Vinya! My boss decided to treat me for our holiday lunch so off we went. She had been here once before for drinks & a few bites & insisted it was really good. When we arrived around 1:30 on a Tuesday afternoon, there was no one at the hostess stand. We stood around for a few minutes & peeked into the restaurant. Only 1 table was occupied & there there were 3 people sitting at the bar but no bartender, no waitress & no host. Finally we saw a waitress tending to the table & got her attention. She was nice but seemed frazzled. She walked us to a table, presented us with menus & made an excellent wine suggestion for me (the Verdicchio Classico by Sartarelli) when I told her I wanted a very dry white. We weren't SUPER hungry so we went with a few apps and a salad: - Hamachi Tiradito (aji amarillo leche de tigre, torched orange, crispy quinoa) it was ok... a little too fishy for my taste & i LOVE hamachi - Roasted Cauliflower (curry-coconut cream, scallion gremolata) OMG!!!! I am a Roasted Cauliflower connoisseur & THIS was spectacular. So delicious & perfectly seasoned! Next time I'm here, I'm getting an order just for me. No sharing! - Summer Salad (arugula, pomodorini, compressed watermelon, feta, toasted almonds, mint) very good but we had decided to add shrimp & I was not a fan of the way they smelled. Again, the taste was fine but I have a super sensitive nose & the seafood just didn't do it for me. It's not like I got sick afterwards or anything like that but I eat A LOT of seafood & this just didn't seem as fresh as it should be. After ordering a 2nd glass of wine each, the waitress asked if we were interested in dessert. OF COURSE! While nothing on the menu immediately jumped out at me (why is there ZERO chocolate?!?!) we chose the Carrot Cake Tres Leches. We gasped when she brought it out! It was so beautiful & sprinkled with edible flowers. Super delicious & delicate too. Overall it was a nice meal & the pro's outweighed the cons. Will definitely be back since it could have just been an off day. Oh!!! One more thing: They have ingenious padding on the underside of their tables so you don't ruin your clothes or tights when you cross your legs. Never seen that before but now i want to make it mandatory EVERYWHERE! read more

Had a lovely time at Vinya a few nights ago! Met up a friend and ordered the morcilla spring rolls (8/10), roasted cauliflower (5/10), lamb baklava (10/10), lamb moussaka (10/10), carrot cake tres leches (7/10) and pina colada pavlova (8/10). Everything was tasty, but the lamb dishes were the standouts. The cauliflower and pavlova could've each had more crunch, and the tres leches needed more carrot cake flavor. As for drinks, we got the sangria for two and I opted for a strawberry margarita. I wouldn't order either again, to be honest. The service was VERY attentive (the hostess called and brought out my umbrella that I'd forgotten), which was incredible. We sat outside, so didn't get to experience the inside ambiance, but it looked lovely. You can find street parking nearby or there's a parking garage (with an entrance on Andalusia) that connects to Miracle Mile where the restaurant is located. read more
Very cool restaurant. Felt like I was in a cool Mexican/tulum theme restaurant. The food is delicious especially the cauliflower and the Brussel sprouts! The short rib was over cooked but the sauces and slaw that came with it were great! The lamb chops are very very good and the rice dish (I forgot what its called on the menu) is very big and good! We ordered the charcuterie for appetizer and it was great! The two downsides was the air was broken the night we ate here and we were so hot and sweating and the food took a long time to arrive. So we were hungry and hot. All in all I would 100% come here especially for a drink. read more
Opening week. We went with a group and after dinner I polled the group. I got some 1s, threes, and four. Because it's their opening week I rounded to four The wine list is, let's say, interesting. Nothing pops out as exciting. The servers lack any skill at recommending a pairing. They have committed some suggestion to route memory but when asked about flavors and on the nose you get deer in the headlights. Also proficiency in English is a let down or non existent. We then switched to Spanish but she didn't. Hmm. Our server brought out Evelyn who was more knowledgeable, however we went with our choice: a Moonshine Ranch pinot from the Russian River by Maritana. We ordered the charcuterie board. You have a selection of 5 meats and 4 cheeses and can pick as many as you want with a minimum of three. It was decent, but no cheese knives and I ordered a hard Gouda and soft crème. Both were exquisite. When we ran out of bread the server brought more before being prompted. We then ordered the lamb kafka. Wow. This sole dish gives it is own star. The pomegranate, cinnamon and pistachios pop the flavor of the lamb meat. You feel like you are in Tehran or some other Levantine capital. Kudos to the chef. There is a small liquor store in the back which the Gables desperately needed. It looks much more interesting with bottles of Buffalo Trace and other hard to find liquors. Parking: back of store in public garage which is slated for demolition by the city. Sitting outside and in. Affordable for the gables. Nice place to unwind after work or before a show at the nearby Miracle Theater. Hoping the staff gets more experienced and knowledgeable. read more

I give Vinya an A+. It's a quaint establishment with very friendly and attentive staff, beautiful decor styling, and most important incredible food. You'll salivate at the menu and get to try a lot of it thanks to the tapa style offering. The menu is divided by size of plates which is always helpful as well. We had: hamachi tiradito - great flavor profiles and the toasted quinoa adds a nice unexpected crunch factor. Mussels - an absolute must if you're into it, this was to die for Dressed oysters - yummy although I prefer bare oysters. This is great if you're not totally sold on oysters but want to get adventurous Wagyu scallop tartare Caesar salad Tiramisu Everything was excellent. Definitely recommend checking out Vinya if you're in the area! read more

My husband and I tried this place for happy hour. I love that they offer it 7 days a week and both the food and drink were so good that I want to come back and try more of their menu. We sat at the bar because it was pretty hot outside and the bartender was friendly and explained to us what chinola was and helped me decide between the Chin Chin Tonic and Lost in the DR. I got the latter and was a fan on the level of spice paired with the passion fruit and my husband enjoyed the Whitecap Negroni. While the cocktails were good, the appetizers were the star. We tried the lamb croquettes and the Short Rib Tacos. The apple compote with the croquettes was such a nice balance of sweet and savory and sort of reminded me of elevated potato latkes with delicious lamb. The tacos were a good size and came with several toppings. The next time I'm craving tacos I might skip the taco places and come here and enjoy an order to myself. read more

Wonderful food, beautiful people. Our servers made our night with their recommendations, kindness, and smiles :). This restaurant has a beautiful wine list and even offers you the ability to select from their store and open in the restaurant with a $15 (i believe) corkage fee. Many dishes were a hit at our table but the top favorites were the mushroom risotto, the beet burrata salad, and the cheese board. read more

Met a friend for lunch today and wanted to try some place new. Vinya Table was it! Close to the office and new! Angel helped us as it was our first time dining with them. They have a very nice lunch menu with appetizer and lunch options that includes a glass of white or red wine. Everything was delicious & the service very attentive and on point. We shared a piece of cheesecake that was very good! Angel told us they have Happy Hour every day from 3-6pm. I recommend Vinya Table! You won't be disappointed! read more

We had been wanting to try this new place in the Gables and finally made it. We were a group of 4 and started with drinks and the charcuterie board. There was a mixup with the types of bourbon but the server finally figured it out and the drinks were good. The charcuterie board was good too, but we had to ask for bread several times, we finally got it after we were done! I had the cazuela (delicious), my hubby had the lamb mousaka (also delicious), our friends had the branzino and grouper, both said they really enjoyed it. We also had the Ceasar salad and it was very good. The restaurant has a nice decor, lively atmosphere and they sell wine and cigars to go. Service was friendly but our server seemed new, she was a bit forgetful, but very pleasant. Overall a positive experience. read more

Food is very tasty with a wonderful presentation. Drinks are yummy with a full bar and many wine selections. I had the Lost In Dr which is their version of a spicy Margarita- super good. Only negative was they refused to give us a booth seating for 2- so request your preference when you make reservations. read more
