Only needed one. Entree: Apollo's Famous Prime Burger. I liked the burger, however, there was a strong taste of whatever method is used to cook the burger. I cant quite out my finger on it. It came with fries. They didnt have ketchup, but provided me with a cilantro sauce which actually paired better with the fries. Dessert: Vice City Tres Leches: DELICIOUS. Be ware if you cant finish it. They dont have a good method of it being to go due to how it's served. I did ask for a to go box anyways lol. Maybe try the to go box and see if they have saran wrap. The leche will escape the box. After dinner: French tea. Served hot in the most beautiful tea pot. I drank it as is. The live Jazz music was a bonus. We really enjoyed the music. They even performed a Bruno Mars song. A time was had. The staff was attentive and knowledgable. No complaints th I will be going back.

There was already a crowd outside waiting for the next seating, and once inside, the intimate setup immediately stood out. With only about a dozen tables, a tiny bar, and the rest of the room dedicated to the stage, it feels exclusive without being pretentious. We sat at the VIP table tucked off to the side. At first, I wondered if the view would be limited, but it ended up being one of the coolest seats in the house. Watching the performers through the side curtains gave everything a romantic, vintage feel, while looking out across the room made it feel like you were hosting the evening. A special shout-out to our server, Arlene. She was hilarious, quick-witted, attentive, and timed everything perfectly. She even brought dessert out at just the right moment so we could enjoy it while finishing the show without feeling rushed. The only disappointment was that the grill was down that evening, so most of the beef entrées weren't available. Thankfully, I had planned on ordering the salmon anyway, and it was cooked perfectly. Just know that if you're coming specifically for a steak, you may want to confirm availability first. The passion fruit cheesecake was much sweeter than I expected, but still delicious. And then there's the jazz. Miami doesn't have nearly enough places like this. The musicians were talented, and the atmosphere alone is worth the visit. If you're a serious jazz fan, you may wish there was a little more improvisation and a little less sticking to the standard arrangements. The vocalist was good, but none of the performances were particularly unforgettable. Still, that's not really why you come here. You come for an intimate room, live jazz, attentive service, great ambiance, and a memorable night out. Armstrong Jazz House absolutely delivers on that. I'll definitely be back.

We went for the "Stevie B Spring Love Music Festival", a 4 hour celebration of classical music (if you lived in Miami or NYC between the 80s and 90s). Vivo is the outdoor entertainment area of Dolphin Mall, located near the parking garage (we were able to get a good spot) and their restaurant row (including Sports and Social as well as PBR Country Music Bar). We went General admission, and stood near the back to dance & go around the different restaurants. However, we still had a pretty good view of the stage. Audio was great as well, from both the musicians as well as my attempts to sing. "Spring Love, Come Back to Me" "Because I love you (the postman song") aka cortavena music "L.o.v.e" by Erotic Exotic If any of those songs bring back nostalgia then you're in the right place. So why only three stars? Well the three pop up bars they had in the area had a limited selection of drinks. I get it that a mojito is a little more complex to make in a concert setting , so I just enjoyed rum and cokes. However, they had no wine at any of the pop up bars. My friend - who's a wine drinker - tried her number2 choice but alas they didn't have Malibu rum either. This was also the case at the ventanita (the part of Sports and Social with the outside window directly at the concert area. Our culinary fortunes improved somewhat at the inside bar of Sports and Social where she got her wine and me my mojito. We also enjoyed ham croquettes and yuca fries from Sergio's (not my restaurant :) who apparently provides their late night menu. Another thing that could be better were the bathrooms. Both in the men's and women's the water pressure was low and both soap & paper towels ran out fairly early. Music 5/5 Food & Beverage (outside) 3/5 Food & Beverage (inside) 4/5

The food, unfortunately, was just okay. Definitely don't come here hungry. I ordered the salmon, and it was dry, and overall the food wasn't very impressive. I waited for the doors to open and to my surprise they sat me and my girlfriends right in the front. They offered us menus and bought us water. There is a 2 drink minimum but you can also get soda so it does not have to be alcoholic. I ordered the Passion fruit tequila martini and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. With just 2 drinks, I was already feeling good, if you know what I mean. Drinks were pricey, $20+, but they were made well. We ordered nachos for the table which werent the best but we laughed so much with both comedians. After the comedy show we crossed on next door to Copper Blues to continue our night. This place is great for a date night or a night out with your friends. I would come here again.

The first bar we tried didn't work out (long story) and my husband mentioned having seen an interesting bar next to Pisco y Nazca where we had been a few times. So off we went. It was around 9:00 pm, and there was only like one other couple there. My understanding is it's more of a club vibe later so that's prob why. It is all outdoors with a bar across the back. It looked nice and was decorated for Christmas. We chose to stand at the bar instead of sitting at a table which seemed to have service. We ended up ordering a cocktail each (amaretto sour and mojito). There weren't any prices on the menu (except for the specialty cocktails which they were out of). Our total for the two drinks came to $42! So I paused and asked if the tip had already been added, and the bartender sort of mumbled something about "no", so I asked if the drinks were actually $20 each. (I mean, we're in Kendall, not South Beach!) So then he showed me the receipt that showed the drinks were $16.50 each and an auto grat of 20%+ had already been added. I did not add an additional tip on top of that. But the experience was in line with some of what I read here (afterwards) of them being a little scammy financially. I'd give it 1 star but the drinks were fine and I could see the vibe being fun once more people showed up.
