While at a birthday party at a tricked-out Coconut Grove mansion with an open bar stacked like a Russian wedding, catered BBQ, and a Pitbull impersonator, I kept hearing whispers from friends and family about the vibe and view at Regatta. So, of course, I followed along, because it had to be one hell of a party to pull people away from the current one. Even with 20+ valet‑reserved spots, parking is a breeze thanks to ample metered spaces and a pricey-but-available garage. The scale of Regatta hits you immediately: yachts bobbing in the marina and an entrance stolen from an EDM club in Croatia or Cyprus. The ID policy is generous, which explains the throng of underage FIU and UMiami kids, fitting, since the drinks are zero‑proof. The group chose the Spritz Experience for $325 all-in, which included two bottles of bubbly, Aperol, and a variety pack of San Pellegrino sodas. I opted to hop between the main and satellite bar, ordering three cocktails, and $50 later, I could've aced a field sobriety test, including the Breathalyzer add‑on. The satellite bar staff had no idea how to make a Rosemary Gin Fizz, a signature cocktail on their own menu. The bartender looked miffed that I ordered it, then had the gonads to grant herself a 25% tip. I politely corrected this mistake by hitting the back button on the tablet and adjusting the tip to match the level of service. Next up, from the main bar, was the Guanabana Margarita. If you had served it to me in a blind taste test, I would've confidently guessed "low‑calorie lemonade." Finally, I tested my theory with a Maker's Mark neat. Even at 46% ABV, every bourbon has a recognizable sting. My pour was muted, like someone had whispered bourbon over a cup of iced tea. As a pre‑game spot before heading to your real destination deeper in the Grove or Brickell, Regatta is fine; there are better boozy food courts in Miami. I'd return, but only under the right conditions: it's a Thursday to enjoy $2 beer or $3 wine between 4 and 7, or someone I genuinely care about dragging me there. Otherwise, I'd rather be at Barracuda, Level 6, or Mae's Rooftop.

Unintentionally to our surprise, stumbled across regatta Grove after attending an event at The Hangar. If you're from Fort Lauderdale, regatta Grove is very similar to The Wharf. That being, it is an outside open space bar hangout area. It is full of a lot of young adults, including many college students that attend the university of Miami. Here, we mingled for a bit after our prior event. We enjoyed the ambience and the aesthetic of regatta Grove. If you're a young adult and live in the Miami area, I definitely suggest to check them out.

If you haven't been to Regatta Grove....you better start making plans for it to be your next outing with friends for some cocktails and a great time. This spot is just like The Wharf that used to be in downtown Miami. It's an outside venue with a very big covered area. There are many places to sit and have a bite to eat. You can scan a QR code when you are at a table and order food from multiple different vendors. You can have the food brought over to you or you can order at a window for pick up. There's so many different food items to choose from; lobster rolls to pizza. I came to Regatta with my sister for the Espresso Martini Festival they had going on. If anyone knows me, they know I love a good espresso martini. This event was so much fun and I met so many people that also have a passion for espresso martinis. My favorite espresso martini out of all the ones I had was the "build your own" espresso martini station. You were able to mix different ingredients to your liking. They also had a lovely espresso martini soft serve station, that was delicious and refreshing all at once. Overall, if you are looking for a nice time at a place overseeing the water, Regatta is the spot to be. Whether you are going on a date or having an outing with friends. You can also reserve in advance for a company party, I noticed there was a big group of people in a closed off area for a private event. Regatta is big enough to host multiple private parties for any occasion. Parking is pretty good, there is also a garage if you can't find anything in either parking lot.

Can you just say Wow! waterfront! Great music! Amazing food! Fun Atmosphere! I truly had an unforgettable night during the Dolphins Draft Party! Service was top tier at the bar! Definitely going back and bringing a group of friends!

Very relaxed venue with a hippie chic vibe. Sip on some prosecco and enjoy the view. Service is on point. Friendly bartenders.

This place is always a good vibe. We went for the superbowl and everyone was very nice. The service was good even though there was a lot of people.

After our Valentine's Day date, the hubby and I decided to stop in at regatta Grove to have a drink. It was earlier in the afternoon on Saturday so it was not busy. We all ordered a couple of beers and walked around to see the different areas. I enjoyed sitting in the front on the rope. It reminded me of sitting on a boat. This place has beautiful views of the bay. They had great music playing, and you can tell they were preparing for another fun evening. It was a beautiful day and I would definitely stop back in for a drink in the future.

View from behind the main bar area. Just below are cool hammock nets you can sit on to view ocean.

I had a great time at the Bayshore Club Bar & Grill while visiting Miami for a work trip. When my Uber first pulled into the parking lot, I was not quite sure where the heck I was being taken, due to the large parking lot filled with cars and then the boat dry dock shelves filled with boats. My group and I walked up to the boat shelves and just to the right is the club. And it is quite massive, with multiple bars, seating areas, and food trucks (you can order food that is delivered to your table via QR codes on the table). The music was a touch loud, but I think my group just picked a table that was directly under a speaker. There was a martini special when we arrived (1/2 price), and everyone tried the expresso martini (so good!). I also had a pineapple mojito, that I think tops the martini. The sugar root is a nice touch. This is a spot I will definitely return to the next time I am in Miami.

Great place to enjoy music, food, and drinks with family and friends. Very chill vibe.

First time at Regatta Grove and I was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere alone makes this place stand out. live DJ music kept the vibes going the entire time, and the large screens add to the experience, whether they're playing sporting events or ambient visuals. The drinks were solid and fairly priced compared to many bars in the area, which is always a win. The bartenders really deserve a shoutout! super attentive, friendly, and outgoing, making the whole experience feel welcoming and fun. Regatta Grove is a great spot for birthdays or any type of celebration. Being right next to the bay takes it to another level. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during sunset. I also liked the variety of food vendors on site, which gives you plenty of options depending on what you're craving. Parking was convenient with nearby street parking and affordable garages close by. Overall, this is a great addition to the area and a place I'd definitely recommend checking out.

The views are stunning, and the vibes here are right. Great place for groups of friends hanging out, plenty of food choices, photo spots, cute decor, fun themed parties, and although it is busy, it's not impossible to get service. Outdoor space, plenty of bars, seating, entertainment, music, and just a good time! Casual and a great place to check out for a drink after doing anything the grove area. Haven't tried the food yet but it they had several food trucks available with different types of food to accomodate anyones cravings! Best time to visit in my opinion is Sunset to catch the cotton candy sky with the marina backdrop! This is one of those places that makes you appreciate being in our beautiful city Miami!

Okay, I have to be honest... I cannot be the only one still missing The Wharf? This spot is what replaced it, and while it is definitely a cool place to hang out and bring people visiting Miami, it just does not hit the same. It is not bad, not at all, but it is also never going to be The Wharf. I do like the layout. Similar to The Wharf, there are different stations depending on your vibe. You can sit at the bar, head into the louder area where the music is going, find a hammock near the water to chill in peace, play some ping pong, or sit under the shade with some food and a drink. The space is versatile, and that is a nice touch. But still... The Wharf had something else. It felt more open, more Miami. You would sit and watch the boats roll in and see someone literally step off their yacht into the crowd like it was no big deal. That felt very true to the city. Regatta has more of a backyard or playground feel. And while I get the idea, a place where people can bring their kids while still enjoying a drink, I think they overdid it a little. It feels like they leaned too far in that direction and lost a bit of the energy that made The Wharf feel so alive. Now let me talk about my biggest complaint, which is sadly not even new. Same issue The Wharf had, and it continues here: the bartenders. I genuinely do not understand how there can be thirty people waiting for drinks, and they are still moving like they have all the time in the world. One cocktail at a time, no urgency, no smile, barely any energy. It gives off serious "I hate this job" energy, and unfortunately, it shows. Also, just a heads up, this is not a place to close out your night. Around eleven, it dies out completely. Most people head to the clubs, and you are left there standing around, wondering what happened to the party. That said, if you are looking for a daytime spot with drinks, a view, and a relaxed setting to bring out-of-towners, it still works. Just manage your expectations, and know you are not walking into The Wharf 2.0. That chapter is closed.

    Alex G.

Great location and great vibes and great views. The entire place is on the edge of the bay and designed with fun in mind. They have a large main bar and several other smaller bar areas and food stands. The music is delivered by an onsite DJ who spins absolutely phenomenal music the whole night. The cocktails are flavorful and perfectly poured. The service is mostly great, but the hostess and bouncer made us feel we weren't welcome, which we found a bit strange. The prices are a bit on the high side but totally in line with the area and environment. I do recommend this place, but expect tourist-like pricing.

A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.
