We visited Puttshack with a party of 8, while our friends arrived separately as a party of 4. They were seated across the room from us. When a nearby table opened up, we asked if our friends could be moved next to us. Our server was kind, said it should be possible, and went to speak with the manager. We had also spoken with the hostess, who seemed overwhelmed by the number of walk-ins. About 12 minutes later, instead of seating our friends at the available table, the restaurant seated a party of 2 there. Since our friends were only 4 people, they easily could have been accommodated at that table. What made the experience worse was the manager, JP. He came to our table claiming the table was reserved, but that didn't seem accurate--we spoke with the couple who had just been seated there, and they told us they were walk-ins. We understand that restaurants have policies and reservations to manage, but JP's attitude and lack of customer service were disappointing. There was no effort to find a solution or show any empathy. The restaurant wasn't even full, and many guests were heading to the mini golf course, so the situation felt unnecessarily inflexible. Puttshack has a fun concept, but customer service is just as important as the experience. We hope upper management reviews how situations like this are handled, because JP's approach did not reflect the level of hospitality customers expect. read more

This place is getting the low rating mostly because the one lady that was posted in front of the sapphire course on the first level was absolutely the rudest human I've ever met in the service industry. She completely ruined my experience on that course by being rude, she didn't let us type in the number the way we had been doing it so she messed up our leaderboard and score tracking. She was absolutely the worst. I would never go back because of her. The place itself is fine. There's only 3 courses which isn't much variety, other Puttshacks have 4. I feel like there's a lot of wasted space. There's also a lot of glitches on some of the obstacles. The one air hockey one didn't give you the bonus like it was supposed to and most of the moving pieces were glitching or completely broken and the starting point on many of them were broken. The 25$ all you can putt deal is fantastic though. I absolutely love this deal and would purchase it any time. But I would never go back to this location ever. read more

I think how much you'll enjoy this depends on how crowded it is. My girlfriend and I came here on Sunday around four to do the unlimited rounds, and on the first course they start you on--Sapphire--it was too crowded. There were huge groups all over and kids running around, and all of the holes are pretty close to each other, so we felt a little cramped while waiting a while for the big group ahead of us to play through. As we continued playing, and headed up to the two courses upstairs--Emerald and Ruby--the crowds thinned out and we were able to have more fun. No more long waits to play and more space to breathe and not feel like people are all over you. As for the courses themselves, my favorite and recommended course is Sapphire. It has the most unique and fun course design. Emerald and Ruby basically have the same course design, and were not as fun. The only downside is that Sapphire seemed to consistently be the most crowded course. In between rounds we stopped for a drink at the bar and got the non-alcoholic spritz, which was not very good. We didn't try any of the other food or drinks though. All told, I'd come back, but only later at night when it's less crowded. read more

This was a fun place to visit for a company event during my last Miami visit. It took awhile to get here during rush hour (50 minutes for about 10 miles), but once my group arrived, went up the escalators to the 4th floor, and were taken to our reserved area - I really got to see how cool this location is. Epic views of the local area and causeway, fantastic service for drinks and appetizers, and the main event... the putt putt battle against my work colleagues. We were grouped into 5 person "teams", given a electronically trackable ball that was associated to our name, and then went off to play 9 holes. The course is tightly grouped, but even with multiple teams on the course - we were able to get through each hole fairly quickly. Servers took drink orders and each hole has a table close by the place your drink when it's your shot. I had a great time at Puttshack and all of my work colleagues echoed the same. The drink choices were great, the appetizers were tasty and swapped out fairly often, and the atmosphere was fantastic. If you get the chance to visit Puttshack, take it. read more

This was such a good time! This is not your ordinary mini golf. Very creative and user friendly. Great music was playing as well. We came here for my boyfriends birthday and he and all Of our friends had a really nice time. As soon as we walked in we could tell we were going to have fun. We had some issues with joining our party into one group and the employee immediately helped us out. It's a 9 or 18 hole game. We played the 9 hole game and it was $18 per person. Not a bad price for being in Brickell. We did not order food this time, but some in the group did mention they have ordered food here before and that it wasn't bad. I definitely recommend this place for date night, friends hanging out, and family get togethers. read more

We visited this location as a group of 4 to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere was definitely fun and lively, perfect for a casual night out with friends. The place was packed, which made the energy exciting but also caused a few issues with the flow of the games. One of the main downsides was the timing between each holes. It felt like there wasn't enough spacing between groups , and we felt like we were constantly being rushed by guests behind us. There just isn't enough buffer build into the course layout to accommodate big crowds. It made what should have been relaxed and playful games stressful. Aside from that, the drinks were good, they are a bit on the pricier side, but well made. A food menu is also available, however we wouldn't recommend ordering food while playing. Between juggling golf clubs, drinks and food it gets to be too much. I'd recommend having the meal before or after games. It's still a fun experience, especially for a celebration and just having fun and good time with your friends. This was my third time coming to Puttshack so I have done all the courses at this point. I recommend going early to get a drink or two at the bar before starting the game. Our bartender, Stephanie, was so friendly and made us great drinks! We had to wait in line to play, which was fine except for one of the workers scolding us and trying to cattle us into a corner, I understand she has a job to do but she doesn't have to be rude. The reservation was rejected by the system due to restrictions regarding the children's ages and the booking time. No reservation was created and no service was provided. Despite this assurance, a charge of USD 59.92 was later finalized on my Visa card. I have contacted the merchant multiple times by email requesting clarification and a refund but have received no response. They have several different courses too pending on amount of players or how busy they are. We pre-booked our large group of 9 people. When we arrived, we checked in. We were early so we went and grabbed a bar lounge seating area and ordered food. We got a few different appetizers: * Korean BBQ Bao Buns * Sweet & Spicy Brussels Sprouts * Thai Fried Chicken Bites * Margherita Extra Flatbread * Pepperoni Buzz Flatbread The food was surprisingly tasty! We loved all of the dishes we got. The Thai Fried Chicken Bites were so good and different for chicken nugget style food. Can't really go wrong with the flatbread. Bao Buns are always a good idea. And added a tad of healthy with the brussels sprouts. Ha. That was more for the adults. The mini golf experience was mad cool. We got to play upstairs on the 2nd floor. First time playing mini golf and it was awesome! We went here as part of work outing so it was a fun activity with coworkers. There were 7 of us in the group and most of us were not golf players. But everyone had a great time! Some got some lucky shots in and some were really good. They have 2 levels and we were in the upper level. Each of the sections had little stands to put your drinks on so that was very convenient. Each person got a golf ball and it's electronically connected to your name and shows your points on the scoreboard after each shot. At times we had to hurry over to the next section as there were people behind us but it was okay. The service at the bar was friendly. It's a cool place with nice ambience. Highly recommend this place and this activity in general to anyone looking for a good fun time with friends family or coworkers! read more

I had a really fun experience here. When we arrived we were greeted right away and asked if it was our first time. They guided us through the "registration" process. It was a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't very busy but once we walked up to the course there was no one around to give directions on what to do but we figured it out. The technology really is awesome and it's a fun concept for an outing with a small group. Something to do indoors and in a great location! I agree that for the price they charge you should be able to play the 18 holes or be given that option for a small upcharge, we would've been more likely to do that if it wasn't so expensive to do the full 18 on a random afternoon. They had happy hour going on so when we finished the 9 holes we grabbed $7 drinks from the bar. They had a deal that was for Monday-Thursday you can play another 9 holes for half off. And they validate parking! Overall, a fun place if you're looking for something different to do and get a little competitive. Would love it to be a little longer experience by including the 18 holes in the price like some of the other reviews mentioned. Will definitely be coming back though for the experience. read more

Can you hear with my little sister for a girls night out. I made reservations on their website that you have to pick up timeslot when we arrived. We just have to enter information at the kiosk and then we were directed to the appropriate area where we needed to start. This is a two level Facility in case one floor is busier than the other. You can go to either floor. The concept is nice and easy to follow and keep track of points. Definitely a cute night for a date night or a group get totgether. There are 9 holes and each have their own theme. The balls track each players progress and points. The playing area is really small. If there are several groups of people it can get backed up pretty quickly, and you're waiting a while until it's your turn to put. There's a restaurant attached, and a server will bring drinks to you while you're playing. There are bar height tables at each of the 9 hole locations. We wanted to pass the time while in Miami and decided to come here to play some mini golf. Puttshack has multiple locations across the United States and even the United Kingdom. This one is located on the fourth floor of the Brickell City Center near the Miami River Front. They have a bar and restaurant on one side and the mini golf section on the other. To play, register your party on one of the kiosks and then go to the golf course to get your balls and clubs. They only have one 9-hole course called the sapphire course and I wish there were multiple courses. There were a lot of parties all playing on the same 9 holes so there was a lot of foot traffic and waiting around for others to finish playing. The really cool thing is that the balls you use keep track of your score and the hole you're playing in; it's really high tech stuff that I haven't seen in mini golf. read more

The salad was fresh and the Caesar dressing was yummy. I enjoyed my flatbread and the portion size was more than enough. My friend enjoyed his hummus. Mini Golf: This place is so much fun, I hate that it took me this long to find it, but it's my new spot. I love that you can order a drink and bring it with you around the holes. There are stands for you to sit your drink while you golf which is super convenient. I must warn you though that it can get VERY crowded so beware of coming on busy weekends as it will take awhile waiting on others to start/finish their holes for you to progress. The quality of the holes is top tier. Updated equipment. We experienced very few glitches/errors (only one) where we needed to reset the ball. All the holes are unique, fun and engaging. Came on a Friday night and unfortunately didn't play minigolf because the lines were really long and we were with a large group. However, we did sit outside to eat and get drinks and it was a very nice ambiance with the brickell skyline. Our server was nice but took her a while to come back to check on us on several occasions. The food and drinks were good but on the pricer side - but of course we are in brickell. Note for large groups, you can only divide by 4 check. Overall, next time I would recommend making a reservation online or coming during the weekday if you want to play mini golf. read more

The golfing was really fun but pretty expensive. The drinks were pretty good as well. We've been here before. The food was really good the first time, this time was pretty disappointing. We started with the hummus platter- pita was burned, not at all acceptable as one could clearly see it was burned. We also had dairy free pizza that was very good, a burger that was ok, and 2 Caesar salads - we're not sure what was in the dressing but it was definitely NOT traditional, it had a heavy vinegar flavor. We would not order the dish again. It was very disappointing as we had been here before and the food was quite good. Our waitress/bartender gave us very good service and was friendly. I'd say if you want to hang out for a round of golf, you'll probably like it here. If you're looking for good food, probably move on to one of the many options at the mall. read more
