This place sounds great when you pass by it outside. It sounds like it's soooo hype and like they are having a blast. For the first time, we decided to cave and actually come inside. It was a Saturday night and it was $20 for men and free for women. Once you're inside, you realize, that it's only meant to lure people in but not to provide a long term good experience. On paper, it should be great. Not too overpacked with a place to dance and great music selection. They blow the horn like every minute and the DJ yells in the microphone to get everyone "hype" but it's super fake and doesn't translate to the crowd. OK, so if you're looking for a spot for a post dinner drink then blue martini may be your go to however, I will let you guys know that gentlemen have to pay $10. I believe to get in and the women is free all night long. I don't know if this is every night, but we did go on a Friday night and that was the case we ended up staying at the bar . There were a few tables but a lot of them had reserve signs on there so just wanted to let you know you guys know about that however this is where things got a little sticky so one of my girls checked in and we noticed that on the check and you get a free cocktail in the at the Yelp app, it specifically states it can be any premium cocktail wines martinis cocktail. It had a list of different things. Well when it was time to redeem that the manager looked at me and said no it's only martinis now I'm gonna take it because it's complimentary . However it specifically says I can get premium cocktail wine martini whatever then I shouldn't be limited to martinis so that was the issue I had. That just didn't really sit well with me so I had to just add that to this interview. However, the cocktails are pretty decent but the vibes was really nice and I did like the selection of music that the DJ played. We met at 6 PM on Saturday. There were 8 of us celebrating a birthday. I did not know it was happy hour, but, I'm so glad!! First, we were sat at a bar height table, in the corner of the bar with an amazing view. I ordered the Shake Your Tail Feather cocktail and loved it. It's tequila with pineapple juice, a couple of blueberries and a feather! We ordered a slew of appetizers, chicken wings, spinach and artichoke dip, tuna poke, shrimp cocktails, 3 different flatbreads, the sliders and the crab dip. Everything was so delicious! I've been to this location several times. Everyone from bouncers to bartenders is always nice and very accommodating. I came the other evening and wanted to use the check in offer. After getting my ears waxed at the nearby upscale barbershop I thought I was hearing things..but I looked up and my eyes weren't fooling me. That bastion of Brickell Happy Hour is back! The interior has in general been updated but retains the classic blue background and stage behind the bar for an awesome cover band - drums and instruments- covering today's party hits. The bar staff was pretty friendly, and made a wicked mojito with mint and smooth blend of rum. There's also bar bites, which I skipped since I had other dinner plans, but definitely looked great. It's a great spot to celebrate Happy Hours with coworkers, birthdays with friends or (hopefully) our NBA team's next championship (manifesting!) since they have some big screen TVs. read more

I have a few issues with this location. So buckle up. I will say that I was very disappointed the music could've been better. That is number one. Number two the drinks and service at the bar was just very poor although you do get a free drink when you check in as a Yelpie, they gave us a hard time about getting the drinks/voucher that is offered by BLUE MARTINI on Yelp. The voucher said that the drinks you could get anything top shelf, premium liquor, etc. but when we showed the voucher to the manager, he limited the drinks we could have to about two pages on their menu, which was fairly disappointing. Furthermore, as someone who doesn't drink, I enjoy being able to order a mocktail and typically do no get picky about the virgin drinks I request or am given at bars. But this particular day, after limiting the menu options for myself and other Yelp friends who were with me, I recognized that the bartender was kind of difficult about making a Mocktail or a virgin version of the drinks that I requested, insisting that she didn't have certain products to make the mocktails. She kept rolling her eyes, etc. And by the time myself and my friends got our drinks, they were terrible. Watered down and just a mess. Guys also have to pay $10 to get in. Girls are free. Enjoyed this place thoroughly last week when I went. One of my friends who lives in Miami she went with me Friday night. It's got this clubby but not too pretentious feeling. Most of the people on Friday night were people who seem varied in age in their late 20s, 30s, 40s and yes some people in their 50s. The band that was playing on Friday night was playing some reggae ton hits as well as some top 40s . The security and door staff is on point. They are doing a great job and I think it's well worth the $10 cover I paid after 10pm to get in. I'm guessing that if there was no pandemic they would not have a 12 am closing time. Since I mostly drink wine when I'm out I noticed they had a wide variety of whites , reds, some rose and good champagne choices. The bartenders at both of the bars I was at were very nice and outgoing. I came here after reading some of the reviews on Yelp and it for sure lives up to its bill as a fun place. No line to get in. They had live performance and then switched to DJ by 11pm. It was super hard to get any drinks or get ahold of our server but hookah flavors were nice with no Malfunctions. Came here for happy hour and there was plenty of room at the bar. The drinks were all half off- all with a strong alcohol taste. It was my first visit after the long renovation. I do not see any major changes, just that they changed the windows and you are not able to see the street when you seat on the terrace. I remember I used to go and enjoy sitting there to have a couple of drinks and watch the people going by at the Mary Brickell mall. Well , not anymore !! The menu looks the same , maybe shorter. Food was non-descript, and the drinks were really bad. I could not drink the last two cocktails I ordered. They were super sweet and had a very artificial flavor. Maybe the problem is with the proportions of the ingredients in the recipe, but it is probably mostly for the low quality of the ingredients ( mixers and or alcohol) they are using.On a good note, service was great, the whole team was very nice and was attentive to all our needs. Ended up getting in free and seated right away but as the night went on I believe they had a fee to get in and needed reservations or bottle service to get seated. Pretty cool how they have singers and drummer when we arrived and later at night turned into a dj. Drinks are made well served in large cups with the right price. I'm highly disappointed with the treatment here. Management seriously needs to consider the the front security, light brown haired, Spanish man. I won't call him a gentlemen because of how short and rude he treated my group. It was obviously a special night, my beautiful nieces bachelorette party because of all the matching cute wear we were wearing and he blatantly began yelling in Spanish Liar to my 18 year old niece. First of all that's one of those places which has daily happy hour (4pm to 8pm). So we went there on Sunday around 7pm and the place was pretty empty, most likely people are going there much later, so besides us there were just a couple of customers and the place is huge and very nice renovated. We sat at the small table by the window, the waitress was very nice, friendly and professional. I ordered a blue martini (I had to do it) and my wife raspberry margarita, both drinks were good, and also we got 2 appetizers grilled chicken and spinach dip, and honestly both dishes were good (honestly I didn't expect much from the food in a bar like this, but it was a very nice surprise) I will definitely go back for happy hour there and maybe for live music as well (just need to find out when is the time when they have live music) read more
