Happy hour 5-8pm daily Stopped in for 1 drink the place was dead at 6pm on a Friday. The mojitos were great. Cute interior. Nice staff. 20% grat on original prices.
While clubbing and bar hopping the nightlife scene on a Friday night at Brickell for the first time, I stopped by Red Bar to check out the scene and I am glad I did. This is a small bar a couple of blocks from the main street. They have outdoor seating where people were smoking hookah, which costs $60. They have a unique menu with craft cocktails that all run around $15 and up. Beers cost around $9 and up. I stuck with their specialty cocktails and they were all surprisingly very enjoyable. And despite the extra care it took to make these cocktails, the bartenders were on point, serving quickly. Inside a dancefloor and live DJ was playing an open format that made it a party, with a young crowd on the dancefloor. The only downside was that the drinks were pricey combined with the mandatory 20% gratuity, and the hookah was way overpriced even by NYC standards. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe here a lot. It is a small spot but has a great party - I'd definitely come again.

The last time we came here was several years ago, and I really loved the decorations inside: it seemed like you had entered a medieval place. This time instead, the place was empty, not just of people (we were there on an early Saturday afternoon), but... of furniture and decorations as well. I preferred it like I remembered it, but the waiter told us that the owner likes changing the layout very often. The guys, however, know how to make drinks: they're very good and strong (I really enjoyed my Cucumber Collins). Prices are average for the area. I look forward to go back and be probably surprised by a new indoor look!
Excellent location for a Thursday night girls' night. 8 to 11 is a fantastic time window for free drinks. Enough seats and not too busy for a more relaxed ladies' night. This place does become busy on the weekends. Had an amazing night!
Thursday is LADIES NIGHTS!!!! Customer Service: I mean it was good! When we got there, a guy behind the bar explained to us how it worked since it was our first time. Drinks: I was expecting cocktails for ladies night but noooo it is not, it's champagne. The champagne was okay nothing extraa. Music: The music was my favorite part ever. The Dj was really good. There was variety of music. It was just perfect. Price: If you are a lady, go on thursdays. Champagne are free. Coming back or nah? Def coming back. Just hoping that this time ladies night will be something else other than champagne.
I love RedBar! It's such a great spot to hang out, get a drink and listen to good music. The DJ is always playing music that just makes you wanna dance. The service is 10/10! If you ever go ask for Laz, he's honest the best and has amazing energy!
Great club with amazing music! We had a girls night here with wigs and it was extremely fun and we even saw another group in wigs as well. Highly reccomend. Not sure how much drinks are as we didn't order any. Bathrooms are 1 each for male/female.
I love the ambience here. But the music is way too loud and drinks are overpriced. I guess that's what you pay for if you're in the brickell area. I do like the outside area where you can have a conversation and talk. Service is decent no complaints there and so are the bathrooms. I tried using my 10% off my order but they told me they wouldn't accept it. I was a little bummed. But I still managed to have a good time here
One of my favorite after hour spots downtown miami. The drinks are so cheap is unbelievable. You can't get a $12 drink anywhere in miami but here. I hope is stay that way! Also this place got NY vibes! So dope!

My sis and I popped in on a Tuesday night for a dj event and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The decor is sexy yet fun! We took a lot of great pictures with photo props! Hector and his staff were absolutely amazing! Great top tier friendly service. They have great drink specials all night. We already had dinner so we did not eat but we definitely had a vibey good time! read more
We had such a cute time at Redbar for ladies night. Hector, our bartender was so pleasant and personable. He checked on us all night and kept the glasses full. The DJs were great. I bobbed my head all night and even got up to dance a couple times. The atmosphere and ambiance was also great. We will definitely be back. read more

Cool place for drinks, they are following the covid recommendations and requiring people to wear masks, I enjoyed the time here as it was empty when I went. As it got later it seemed to get busier so we left. Enjoyed the drinks here though and the music was on point. read more

I've been here twice, both times with coworkers. The first time I went it was pretty packed. I have to be honest and say that I'm not an avid bar goer/hopper but if a place has good music I can dance to and the crowd isn't sketchy or creepy lol, I'm in. At first glance, there's an outside area where people hang out and congregate. People who smoke or vape appear to take up shop there and me not being a smoker or a vaporer (no offense to those that do), I'd much rather prefer to stay inside. The music is pretty loud so you have to be okay with that and the crowd the first time consisted of younger twenty something year olds. The second time around the crowd was a bit older so it varies. From what I've heard all of people in the hospitality industry frequent there, like servers and bartenders, probably because it stays open so late. You basically get a mix of people. The first time the bar area was packed so it's hard to get the attention of a bartender but since one of my coworker's is friends with one of the bartenders there, it did help us order faster than most. I have to admit that the first time I went I did not expect to have as much fun as I did. It was on a Friday night after work a few months ago and I danced my butt off. My legs were so sore the next day.. I'll put it that way. From old school R&B jams, to 2000's dance party hits, to Latin/Salsa music, I had the time of my life moving and grooving. The second time it was less packed. We actually had plans to go to Sweet Caroline Karaoke but since the line was too long to get in, we opted to go to RedBar. It was much more of a relaxed vibe the second time around as it was less crowded. The music was okay. Maybe the DJ was different. I had one drink which was a Cosmo on the rocks. I forgot to ask for a specific type of vodka probably because I was too busy enjoying the music, but it was good either way. Anyhow, I had a nice time. I did wish though they had better music the second time around, but it was okay as I was able to converse with a couple that was visiting Miami. I love getting to meet new people as much as I maybe an introvert at times as I covet my alone time and there's nothing like curling up with a good book or cup of tea or hot chocolate but I'm an extrovert when it comes to meeting new people or trying something new because getting out of your comfort zone is good (granted that whatever you do is legal and puts no one in harms way). There's a saying that goes "you have to get comfortable in the uncomfortable" as that's where the most growth happens. So if you are new to Miami or someone looking for an unassuming hang out spot and are okay with dancing a little bit and listening to some old school tunes, this is the place for you. It's definitely not a club/lounge but it's not a dive bar either and again i can't speak to the bar scene in Miami as I don't frequent them often but it was fun to try something new. Will I be back? It depends on work, life, etc. but I do recommend it if you don't wish to pay a cover like I know some places do and aren't into trendy, soirée type of events. Just be ready though because people there will probably be drunk (and/or dancing in not the best way and I don't mean technically, I mean something else entirely)...call me modest...I don't care lol but it's still worth a try to check it out and feel it out. I did enjoy getting to sing my heart out that first time because you can't help but sing along to the tracks they play, especially if it's an 80's or 90's tune. If they had karaoke, that would be even better but I know that Sweet Caroline is right around the corner. Lip singing is still fun though if it comes down to it. I'm just happy I got to get out for a bit as I think it's good to let go (in a safe, responsible way) and trek somewhere to a place you've never been. The decor is pretty cool too. I like the neon sign at the front that's says something like "You're exactly where you need to be". They even had Mickey Mouse spray painted on the wall with the RedBar logo on top of it and me being a big Disney fan, it made me smile and I had to snap a pic of it. All in all, I had fun and that's what matters. As you get older, priorities change, but life is too short to not dance your heart out or sing like you're in the shower...that's how I live my life. So hopefully this review will help you decide whether or not RedBar is right for you:) read more

I live exceedingly close to RedBar so my friends and I decided to drop in and spare ourselves from carrying umbrellas on a rainy Saturday night. We came around 9:30pm and the place was about half-full and chill. True to its name, red neon perfused the room. An NBA dunking competition was airing on the TVs. I got a Manhattan which was smooth and strong. The cherry on bottom was a perfect finish. Unfortunately, the service soured the experience. The bartenders were distracted talking amongst themselves so after getting tired of waiting, I waived someone down to put in our orders. Trying to close out was also problematic. 18% tip is already included when you get the check. On another note, the floor has sticky spots... All in all, RedBar could be a place to start if you're going out around Brickell since you can actually hold a conversation without yelling. Hopefully, the service we got was just a fluke. P.S. Swing by here late one Friday and enjoyed meeting some new folks. It's a smaller venue but everyone was having a good time with the atmosphere and music, and for the most part everyone was friendly (aside from one rowdy group that was kicked out). A good spot to hit on a bar crawl for a drink or two. read more

I came here with an open mind hoping that Redbar would impress me. Their signature drinks all go for $11 and are made very well, tried the Cucumber Collins, the Banana Bread Old Fashioned, the Sexy Floridian and the Passion 75. For me it wasn't the drinks, but everything else that rubbed me the wrong way. Now according to ourbrickell.com Ladies Night here is promoted with free bubbly and $6 craft cocktails. We asked and the bartender validated what we thought, so we ordered three drinks and were shocked that the check came to $42. All in all, gratuity is included on anything after $25 and credit cards after $15. We were then explained that no drinks are half off and then we were all confused and upset. We spoke to another bartender who was off for the night, Corline (sorry if it's misspelled) and she was so sweet, completely understanding the situation and made it better. Coming here another night, we were still greeted by ice coldness as if the people behind the bar didn't want anything to do with us. The place wasn't even crowded for us to be standing by the bar for twenty minutes waiting to place an order. I don't want this to be one of those ranting reviews, but honestly I wish my experience at Redbar was different because I did like the style of it. Even getting past a misunderstanding, and giving them a second shot, I just don't like going somewhere where I feel like I'm bothering the bartender when I want to order a drink. Some of them are extremely unapproachable. And I know it wasn't a "oh maybe they are having a bad night," type of deal. read more

They deserve no star at all.. long story short. I love 1800 as a shot. They are cutting their premium alcohol and still charging full price. Someone need to call Jon Taffer and set this place straight.. 2 shots of tequila cost me $28...the Tom Foolery.. make it make sense.. then you wonder why it's empty in that place.. stuff cutting the alcohol.. $3 bottled beer during happy hour every day from 5pm to 8pm! In miami! Who can beat that?! I noticed this bar in the area and decided to stop by for a quick drink. From the outside I imagined the space to be a little larger. When you walk in theres a bar on one side, group seating across from the bar, and a DJ booth in the back. I went before the DJ and evening activities so it was pretty slow. They had football playing on the TVs and top 40 music in the background. I noticed that throughout the week they offered activities like comedy night. This spot seems like it would make a great hang out for after work or lounging with friends. There were several annoying fruit flys around the bar and by the bathroom which kind of tell me a lot about the cleanliness of the bar. Aside from that, they have really good deals and seems like a nice neighborhood bar. read more

We love coming to this bar for old fashioned cocktails. Everyone is friendly and attentive. We really enjoy the drinks, music, and chill atmosphere. Music varies. Like us, many locals enjoy this bar. Alex is usually the bartender we get to see. He makes some delicious cocktails. If you are not sure on what to order, he will make you a drink based on your favorite spirit. I always get my favorite, the old fashioned. I appreciate they have the big ice cube for this cocktail for best enjoyment. Whiskey Wednesdays are great to come here and try different whiskey cocktails. Cheers! read more
Honestly, a little underwhelming. Knocked off a few stars because the bartender wasn't transparent, maybe dishonest even. A friend & I wanted to split a drink, a glass of cider with a shot of Fireball in it. The bartender kept insisting we should have more than one drink. We said we only wanted one again, but he said he would make us two anyway. We were under the assumption the second one would be on the house, since we already explicitly stated that we would only like one drink. Then we received a $30+ bill. We didn't argue to avoid any trouble, or being /those/ customers. There is loud music playing, with a few people seated at the bar and couches, while others were dancing around. My favorite thing about the place has to be the neon sign above the door that says "you are exactly where you need to be." I would come again to try some of their signature drinks, but I would definitely be careful in ordering and communicating with the bartender. read more
So we headed here on a Saturday night looking for music and a cocktail. This is a small bar with limited seating that played heavy reggaeton, Latin and some hip hop. It was a nice vibe for the most. My bartender was quick to serve and personable. Drinks were a bit on the high side for what we got. Masks were worn by only the employees. I recommend getting there early for seating. We stayed closer to the door to avoid the crowds. Whoever was the dj spinning around. 11pm......amazing. read more

Coming from Hollywood Beach I was looking for something with a little bit of a different vibe in downtown Brickell. The vibe was amazing and the bartenders that were on the staff were perfect I asked for a random drink and he brought back something that was beyond my expectations it was very good. Been here a couple of times and I love RedBar! Friday nights have great music and the prices of the drinks aren't too bad! Its a nice place in Brickell where you don't feel like you're in Brickell, but don't get the "young kids" vibe. Every time i've come its been full, but not excessively where you begin to feel uncomfortable and cant move around or dance. read more

Is there a dress code?
No, this is NOT a fancy place or a "club". It's basically a neighborhood hole in the wall bar.
What kind of music do they play?
All types of music to be honest. The Dj is really really good with variety.
What time does ladies night begin and end?
Per a recent Instagram post it's until 2 AM. I believe it starts when they open, but I'm not positive.
Is it 18 and over?
I went during happy hour with my office and we weren't ID'd going inside, however you will be ID'd when buying a drink. So, I'm guessing if you are there early enough you can be 18 but you can't buy any drinks.
