This place could be better but idk if it can. 1) downstairs is SCORCHING hot. It's hot and hard to breathe in. That basement with low ceilings isn't meant for the amount of people they let in. They need to invest in AC or smth because it's giving frat basement, which is not the experience they are trying to portray themselves to have. 2) upstairs and downstairs has drastically different acoustics. Upstairs is loud and has very strong beats to compensate for lack of good sound. Downstairs is good. However, that leads to the problem that everyone goes downstairs and it gets very packed very quickly. 3) unless you're coming for a specific event / DJ, on regular nights it wasn't a vibe. We came twice on regular nights with 10-15 ppl groups. Neither my group nor the crowd was having a vibe. No one in the crowd was dancing or grooving. It was all people standing around trying to look cool. I understand that it's house music and it is repetitive on purpose, but I kid you not they just played the same beat on a loop while we were there. If that's your vibe - go for it. 4) drinks wise, you typically Miami club bs overpriced drinks. Nothing new. 5) when it rained, downstairs had dripping water. They put a trash can in the middle of the dance floor to address that.

MODE is a solid spot in downtown, and I can't believe it took me this long to check it out since it's within walking distance from my place. The vibes are on point--good energy, stylish ambiance, and a nice balance between a lounge and a club. It's not massive, which I actually liked. The bar area feels more private, but it still has a full club atmosphere with two DJ booths. Upstairs is the main dance floor, and downstairs in the basement, there's a cozier, more intimate dance area with another bar. Perfect setup depending on what kind of night you're in the mood for. I got to see Gaeb & Mejia and Steve Lawler, and they absolutely killed it--especially Gaeb & Mejia. The music was unreal. Had a drink, and it was surprisingly good for a nightclub. Definitely coming back, especially to check out their happy hour!

Mode has great potential, but there are a few things I'd like to address. First, the staff at the entrance could definitely be more friendly and accommodating. When people are spending their money to come here, it's not too much to expect to be treated with basic respect. A welcoming attitude at the door would make a big difference. During one of our visits, me and my wife had tickets to enter before 12Am, and when I showed the tickets multiple door attendants were acting as if I no one knew what I was showing them; they bounced us around different lanes and then finally someone just let us in without even welcoming us, I literally said to my wife -I guess we are okay to going??? Furthermore, the DJs that play in the main room are actually decent, but the volume is turned up so high that it's hard to appreciate the sound. Downstairs usually has better equalization and sound. Overall, Mode has the potential to be a solid spot, but they need to make some adjustments in order to give their guests a better experience.

The first time I visited, it was 6pm on a Friday and super quiet, relaxing, and the service was fantastic. The bartenders were lovely and really wanted to get to know you and the flavors you liked in your cocktails. The drinks were 10/10 for flavor, presentation, and quality. I had a spicy mango drink that had a giant mango ice cube that turned into a slush while the drink was melting. Soo good!! There was a comedy show in the basement. I had a great night! The second time I visited (months later) was a Saturday night around midnight and it was CRAZY. It was legit a rager. It was really cool though. There was a DJ playing upstairs; she had more pop and hip-hop. She was really getting the crowd going. Huge line outside, probably a 30 min wait with a $40 cover. The actual party though, was downstairs. It was dark and there were a lot of strobe lights. It was packed to the brim with people. The DJ was also great downstairs, more techno, house, electronic vibes. People were truly having a blast. The place closed at 4am. Very different vibes depending on when you go! So check and visit accordingly!

Came in here for a Happy Hour and was not disappointed! MODE took over the old Le Chat Noir space and has done a nice job of giving it a new life. What started out as a HH ended up being a full night of vibes in one place (IYKYK). BIG DRAW: Happy Hour is from 7-9pm, which includes 4 cocktails off the menu for $10 and reduced wine and beer. Tropical Haze was by far my favorite. Ask for Michelle/Mitch. Club downstairs pops off at 11ish, very swank and the music was pretty good. And in the spirit of Le Chat Noir, also do Jazz Nights as well. Would def come back for Happy Hour and the jazz night vibes.

The bartenders here spin up some great well-balanced craft cocktails, alongside awesome dj's who keep the vibes flowing. My favorite room is the lower level that felt very bohemian, playing jungle deep house

A much needed downtown refresh- MODE is a gem. A friend and I can for ladies night and tried a few cocktails. The mixologist was fabulous and we both enjoyed our extremely unique drinks. Service was quick and friendly + welcomed us into the lounge and set the stage for a good night. Im surprised by how much I liked the dj and can't wait to come back Soon with friends so they can experience the amazing new downtown vibe!

Had a great time at MODE with Yelp Elites! Dj had us dancing nonstop! Drinks were good but only one bartender for a large group made the wait much longer than usual events. Parking was easy to find around the corner street. Bathroom was nice and clean for a club.

Last night was chill and relaxing here at MODE downtown. I had never been before but went for an event and am glad I did. The bartender/manager RJ was super knowledgeable and a top mixologist. The drinks were carefully crafted and he was super personable. The blonde bartender that came in after 8 was super nice too. The drinks were fancy and delicious! The inside has a nice lounge energy and the music is very deep house-y...if that's a word. I look forward to checking out the basement on the weekends sometime soon.

I went to a yelp event at MODE and it was such a fun time. I went with two friends and we had a lot of fun. The drinks were really good. It was very busy that night so the bartenders were very backed up and they did have an attitude but nonetheless we made the best out of it. The music was really good a lot of people were on the dance floor.

I think they fit Miami well, and are slight twists in classic drink options. Our bartender was awesome. She was super knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations as we decided what to order, and you can tell she really put effort into making sure the drinks were good. The drinks were really good! My only complaint is the price. Of course handcrafted cocktails are expensive, especially in Miami, but wow. The drinks were really small, and had so much ice that they ended up being not very many sips at all. They were definitely good, but the very small size for almost $20 a drink was kind of outrageous.

The bar was lit, poppin' and vibrant. We were waiting by the end of the counter where they checked out other patrons near the sitting area. We were overlooked many times... I locked eyes with one of the bartender and she completely looked away from me.. several times :( took about 15 minutes and we reached our arms out and flagged bartender Reilly. Her greeting and attention was genuine so I was happy to get her. Unfortunately, she got busy and we got the initial lady that ignored us. She was not kind, not attentive and didn't really want to help us - she was very fake. With that being said, we had to remind her of our drinks after 20 minutes of placing the order, in which she responded with an attitude "it's being made. We're busy" -_- -_- :( the attitude was not needed. We watched others that came in before us being served. :( I was completely annoyed and upset. She didn't even bring the drinks to us like the other bartenders were doing, she made us get it. Poor service from this one bartender while the others were happy and servicing their patrons. After our first drinks, I noticed she spoke to her colleague and he came over and asked if we wanted to close out.. . Wtf kicking us out? We said no and he opened a tab. When she noticed we were ordering more, she was a bit more attentive. So wrong. Luckily, the drinks were delicious. Perfect. We did end up coming back to the Lasseter and got a gentleman bartender that was so kind and attentive and made our drinks even better! The attention to detail and love he made in my drinks, so that is why I decided to make make this a 3 stars rather than two. He saved this place. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.
