This place is interesting. I do appreciate that parents don't have to pay to enter or supervise their kids. There's no intercom system to tell kids to return for cake to a birthday party room, which is stressful for all involved. I don't understand how the video games work; I bought an unlimited pass for the day, and apparently this does not include unlimited games. The video game use went by very very fast. The pass does include unlimited 'attractions.' My kids waited a long time in the gokart line only to be told they were too short to ride. So we skipped that. The bumper cars are an attraction- I think? It only has 6 or 7 cars and the space is very small. The water bumper boats are a similar number, so waits are long, and each boat has a water squirter on it...everyone who exited the round with my kids left soaking wet, including my kids. Glad we did this last. The mini-golf has no employee monitoring of entering or exiting, so I could go in with my kids without participating. It is on the older side, but my kids had fun. There are carved out rocks, waterways, and at one point the course goes under a waterfall. It looks like there are 2 courses to play. My kids enjoyed laser tag. I sat outside in the laser tag waiting room; there are 4 cameras mounted showing the activity within, which I appreciate as a parent. Note to self: have kids wear striped shirts so I can find them on the screens! I'm uncertain if there is an employee inside with the kids, and this is for all ages, in a dark enclosed place. I didn't like that my kids seemed alone in the pre-tag enclosed room, as I would have preferred to supervise them. read more

Boomers is not what it used to be. We went on a Friday night and all of the outside attractions were completely empty. They have not done much to update the outside attractions in the last 20 years with the exception of the updates to the miniature golf course. They have added VIP cabanas for hire, which seems like an odd addition when they have difficulty bringing clientele for regular drinks in the other areas.. The prices for the arcade are quite high for what you get in return and it would make it difficult to spend a full evening here for most children, even the Boca clientele. The height requirements for the rides start at 36 inches and it seems that none are available for those below, so it would be difficult to bring a little one . It was fun to walk around, but the new layout is odd and uninviting, the laser tag did not seem to be open and I truly hope they put something in place to bring back boomers to what it was in it's heyday several decades ago. We had a Huge family day work outing. It wasn't cheap by any means but for what you get it was definitely the best deal for n our area. The food was great and more plentiful than we could have imagined. The staff were outstanding from the planning phase through completion of the party. Tons of fun. Boomers is like a Craigs Cruisers where there are multiple activities under one roof. In Boomers' case, there's an arcade, bumper cars, laser tag, bumper boats, and a mini golf course. For almost $100, my family of four did mini golf and $60 of arcade credit. The mini golf was not bad. It's in better shape than other courses. If you like a more difficult course, do the red one. The arcade is hit or miss. Some games didn't work. Like all arcades, most games are a rip off and the prizes cheap, but our eight-year-old daughter enjoyed it! read more

I just went here a few days ago with a group of friends from ages 20's to mid 80's. Everyone had fun. It was raining so we didn't get w chance to do the mini golf and the other outdoor activities and inside the laser tag was out of order but there was still plenty to do. Took a couple of kids here during the busy period between Christmas and New Year's. Got the Unlimited Attractions pass in advance. Ended up only going on three total attractions (plus some arcade games) due to the long lines at go-karting. We enjoyed putt-putt and the kids finished the excursion getting wet on the bumper boats. Bumper cars looked pretty lame so we passed on that. If we go back, I think a pass covering 2 attractions plus some arcade time would be plenty for us. I grew up in Boca, and have been going here for years. I officially had a party here so this is a review for the whole party experience. I did my homework on pricing, and by far, Boca Boomers hit every single nail for the right price. The party/event staff was the kindest around. Gave me a tour, gave me all the information, booked easily, gave me options that were not permanent until a few days before. They updated my booking easily, hand held me through the entire process. Emailed back and forth through all my questions. On the day-of, we had a helper/staff dedicated to our room. Everything was as smooth as can be. She explained all the steps, helped with pictures, food, Kids, goodiebags, cake, drinks, gifts, logistics. Thank you for an easy option for the kids invited. As an adult who would like to have some drinks while the kids run around I regret coming to boomers. My review is mostly for the bar. I ordered a blue moon it came n a plastic cup and was not cold. I received the bill for the one right away and I should have asked before assuming the price 11.22 for a very depressing drink. Not one person was sitting at the bar this should have been the red flag and I should have known. If there goal is to sell the least amount of beer they are succeeding. Took my nephews as part of a holiday gift and they enjoyed it, ages 9 and 10. We had an elite pass that gave access to all things except batting cages and only 50 arcade credits. I felt it was a bit outdated- the arcade had games but the amount of credits needed was a lot. Not many low credit games. The go-karts are a bit run down and don't accelerate much. The line can get to be pretty long and doesn't move too quick. The water bumper boats had a soft water line and not too easy to maneuver, the boys seemed to stay stuck in certain areas. There wasn't much staff to direct the kids. Mini golf was fun- had a number of holes and two different routes. They provide many different colored balls, golf club sizes, pencils and scoresheets. They also loved laser tag- I like there were 4 screens outside to see while they were playing. They have a large bar and concession stand. Food is normal overpriced tenders, pizza, etc. Staff at the counter was great and they have a lager system for when the food is ready which was a nice plus. Overall- if you get a deal and have time kill with younger kids, they'll enjoy it. Be prepared to spend a little too much sans a deal. read more

This place has been around for a long time and it's been a long time since it needs some renovations. It is outdated and the indoor areas have a dirty feeling. Service isn't the best when purchasing tickets, getting good/drinks at the bar, doing laser tag, the indoor bumping 'ride' or when riding the go karts (be prepared to wait a long time in line). 6 months ago I posted this review: I was having a good time until I went on the go-karts and my day was ruined. When we were pulling in because our time was up, I had an encounter with one of the rudest employees ever. I was yelled at to pull up all the way, so I pushed down on the gas to show the worker I couldn't pull up because there was no more gas. I didn't receive an apology. Then the worker yelled at me again to get up. I think he said it once before, but I was not sure because the go-karts are loud and it's next to an airport. As long as this location has rude and impatient workers there, I will not be returning. I was also flipped off while riding the go karts but that's out of your hands since it was not a worker. The worker however should be fired in my opinion he was being rude to everyone. Since then I have not received an apology from anyone, very unprofessional. read more

Implementing more generous buffer times between bookings would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for all parties, allowing for relaxed transitions. Furthermore, it became apparent that the staffing levels were insufficient, especially considering the size and demands of a private party like ours. We frequently found ourselves searching for assistance to address various needs, from guest inquiries to minor issues, indicating a clear need for additional, dedicated staff members to effectively support larger group events. The efficiency of your food service also left much to be desired. There was a noticeable lack of urgency in delivering beverages and the pre-ordered food, resulting in significant delays that disrupted the flow of our party and left our guests waiting impatiently. Also, the instructions provided for the proper use of the gaming cards and wristbands by staff were delivered at an exceptionally swift pace. This rapid explanation unfortunately meant that crucial operational details were not adequately conveyed or easily absorbed by the attendees. Consequently, a significant number of guests, were left confused regarding how to effectively utilize these key components. Most concerningly, our party experienced a security lapse. While my son's celebration was still underway, an unauthorized adult male, accompanied by his son, entered our private party room. Without invitation or permission, this individual began consuming slices of pizza that were specifically paid for and intended for our invited guests. When I confronted him politely, his response was shockingly rude and dismissive, and he continued to eat without any regard. This incident was not only a blatant invasion of our private event space but also raised serious questions about the security measures in place to protect the privacy and belongings of your paying customers. In summary, while the offerings at Boomers are undeniably appealing, the operational challenges we faced significantly detracted from our overall satisfaction. We had anticipated a truly memorable and stress-free celebration, and it is disappointing that these issues cast a shadow over parts of the party. This place was okay. The go kart line was so long and just didn't seem to be moving. We never ended up going. The batting cage was malfunctioning so after getting help to get it fixed, I finally got a turn and enjoyed that. The laser tag gun wasn't working either even though I was told it would work once the game started. The indoor bumper cars are definitely for little kids because they don't go fast. First of all I paid over $100. for miniature golf and never finished the 18 holes, by the time they turned off all the lights and shut down the whole place with us still in it. My grandchildren were so scared because all the lights were turned out and we were locked in the complex. Thank God, we found an open gate to let us out, otherwise we would've had to call 911. There were no lights to even see where we were going on the golf area and my granddaughters were very scared because then we saw a raccoon or some type of large animal. It is run by a bunch of kids, without anybody checking out to see if there are still people in the facilities. Very upset. read more

Boomer's has been around since I was a kid and now that I have my own, I can more easily think about why I'd come back maybe once a year- Pros: -It's got a variety of activities for different ages and sizes (although this isn't as clear as it could be in places). On a rainy day it's nice that they have some activities with the arcade -The workers we talked to were friendly -Kids 5 and under are free for mini golf -It's not cheap but if you have the time and willingness, you can purchase the half day/multi-package combos and it makes a little more sense. It seems like they run specials frequently too -Mini golf has two different courses with elevation change and interesting course layout that is fun for all ages Cons: -It's difficult to get people to pick up the phone. -Actually in general even when you are there, if it's around the holiday season time as it was for us, it can be hard to get a hold of anybody. Given how crowded the place was you would think there'd be more help. -it's very pricey- $16.99 for mini golf or a few minute Go Kart or Bumper Boat ride. For a family of four this adds up quickly that with maybe a snack or two and some rides you're easily spending over $100 on a visit. -again it was holiday season but it was very crowded. We waited almost 45 min for the little kid go cart -Speaking of, the minimum height is 36 inches but my 36 inch year old son could barely reach the peddles. On the flip side, the operator actually rode with him a bit to make it work which was nice and I was glad he could do it as he was very excited about the little track. read more

I was excited to finally take my kids to Boomers to experience the fun I had when I was a kid coming here. The excitement was let down as soon as I walked in. This place has definitely shown its age and they have downsized the arcades they once had. They didn't have alot of variety and some of the machines were just dated and needed to go, some were just not working properly. The newer one and most popular would be Mario Kart, you would think they would have more than 2 seats available, expect to wait. They do have your typical claw machines and coin pushers, touch screen games like Fruit Ninja and shooters but not many fighters from what I noticed. Pricing was average for places like this, you get about 300 credits + 100 bonus credits for $60 and each game varies from 7-15 credit, that come out to about $1-$3 per game but the more you buy, the more you get but if you buy less, you're getting ripped for sure. I would highly suggest you eat before arriving if possible. We ordered a burger, chicken tenders, mini corn dogs and Mac & cheese, this came out to $60+. Was it good? No, the quality is exactly what you'd expect it to be from a place that doesn't specialize in food. Icees are $8+. The batting cages were down for maintenance/repair and I can't review the outdoor cart or laser tag as we didn't take part. There are other options available, I'd rather drive farther for more or drive closer for less, but as of now, we don't plan on coming back. read more

Yes they are taking temperatures, wearing masks and practicing social distancing. We bought a pass that allows one go cart ride, one mini golf and $15 arcade tickets (for November if you bring two cans to give e to those in need, you get $5 arcade card). I went with my tween son and we had fun. I had to look for hand sanitizing stations- I would have liked more of those. We ordered churros-they were supposed to take 4 minutes and took over 15 minutes- not sure why. Our favorite game is air hockey. also we played that a few times . Hopefully, as time goes on, more and more will open up. read more

This was my 1st time here, we tried once before but the batting cages were closed that day. My friend and I play softball so we wanted to go to the batting cages to hit balls. The batting cages are outside so I felt comfortable. They have slow and fast pitches. Unfortunately Boomers is right next to the executive airport so you smell the jet fuel. We also played the outdoor miniature golf (18 holes) which was fun. They have 2 courses to play. They have a lot of water & rocks throughout the course. I went there at opening on a Saturday. The place was filthy, the ladies room was disgusting. I was literally gagging from what I saw. Nothing in the entire place had been clean since the day before. I was told to pull up in front and knock. They didn't open for another 15 minutes. I explained to her the situation, that I was told to come there she insisted I leave and wait until the facility opened. She then told the person that had my phone she went to look for me and she couldn't find me but I was sitting right outside the doors in my truck. I understand policy, but she was rude. Some good people working here. I have been by a couple times lately . We had planned to go to the batting cages for a while. We finally went last Sunday. We thought we were running a late in the day getting there a little past 11am. That wasn't true, the parking lot was empty! We thought something happened COVID-wise with the place. We walked around and ran into a guy and he just said, "hey, it's Sunday. We open at noon. But I will see if we can get you guys some bats and helmets for the cages." I was appreciative but I wasn't expecting this miracle. We wandered around the outside for a bit, getting ready to leave. But around a corner came the same fella and what I guess would be the manager for the day. He explained the same thing but said he would take care of us. And they did! he went to the lock box and let everything out to play. It was one of those kindness of humanity moments that I knew they didn't have to do. But it was appreciated. You have to spend so much just to play games..... they have TWO ticket options and one includes 50 game credits (every game is 15 credits or better so you do the math)... this price is $50 per person. each additional 50 credits is $10 at the reload kiosk. Again you do the math... how many more games can you play for $10? (They're all.... QUICK GAMES) . The other ticket option is NO GAMES and just 3 attractions for $35! This place is a like a Chuck E. Cheese, just with MORE food options & attractions you'll spend so much time waiting in line for. ESPECIALLY the racing cars! The food, I literally got the bubble guts before leaving. The food is no better than other kid places. So again... NOT WORTH IT. The drinks were almost $8 for a fountain drink and almost 4 FOR A REFILL. So let's get the negative out of the way (loose 1/2 star if possible) before we really delve into this place. As you can see, clean up around needs to be managed a bit more for the simple aesthetics of Boomers. Not awful by the way, but simple housekeeping routing would be on the menu here. Gotta say how much I like this place! The special of $40ish for unlimited play and 50 game credit is a great deal! The kids got to go on everything they wanted as many times as they wanted! We were here for about 6 hours and at one point I hadn't seen them for an hour and had to go look! Of course they were still here but the fact that they were content with everything really made all the difference. The lines for the rides were not awful and they actually met some other very friendly kids and ended up going around with them for awhile. While we did not eat here, the menu looked very diverse and the bar was well stocked! I was able to set up the computer in the "chill zone" and plug in to ensure I could get all my work done. Suggestion would be to bring headphones to drown out the music, noise and shrieks of kids having a blast! Hadn't been here in few years and ranks with me as a top spot for bringing kids!
