We got my daughter and my nephew 4 hour ride passes , and the rides are mostly unattended ; so you have to hunt someone down to turn it on . This place is understaffed , and outdated . The go karts are a complete disgrace , any 12 volt Walmart kart is faster than these . The kids were totally bored riding these disgraces . The laser tag is old outdated equipment, which Barely works . Walked up to the bar to get a draft beer , and the taps don't even work; had to get a can beer instead . Lastly - the arcade games are Terrible; again completely outdated . Overall - will never be back to this dump ; and I highly recommend no one come here . Brought my son there for his 7th birthday. Every ride had a long line because so many Go Karts, Bumper Boats, etc...were out of commission or broke down mid use. We waited in line for 45 minutes to ride the big Go Karts. My husband, son, and I couldn't ride together because so many karts were out of commission; there were only 6 singles available and about 10 doubles. My husband and son only got to go around the track 2-3 times because the karts kept stopping and had to manually be restarted. At one point there were SIX karts stopped mid-track. My son was the only kid on the little Go Karts. There was only one kart in service and it died while he was going around. The guy operating the ride got annoyed when we asked for him to call someone to get one of the 3 karts working so my son could have a proper ride. We paid for unlimited attractions for 3 people and in the course of 3-4 hours were only able to ride 3-4 attractions that didn't malfunction. Considering the cost per person for the unlimited attractions, that's just unacceptable. We were considering hosting a double birthday party with my son and his cousin (and their friends) next month, and this was a sort of test run since we hadn't been to this location before. Needless to say, considering the prices, we've crossed it off our list of potential birthday party locations. I'll be spreading the word to avoid this place, it's totally not worth the price. read more

Lol --------- FIRST THINGS FIRST ------------------- If you want to do any of the attractions outside of arcade games, make the line on the right side of the entrance to pay for those. CONTEXT ---------- We came here to bring our nephew from out of town who is in elementary school. Our nephew was SO excited and happy when he walked in. He had no idea there were atttractions (mini golf, go karts, water bumper boats, rock climbing, laser tag) because most of that is outside. You walk in to the arcade part but have to walk towards the back to get outside. PRICES ------- I posted pictures of prices and if you come here and want to do all of the attractions at least once, it comes out cheaper to bbt a season pass which is good until the end of the calendar year ($50). Pretty good value for giving kids something to do when you're out of ideas. WAIT TIME ---------- The attractions had at least a 20 minute wait even though the lines were not that long. Laser tag was the shortest wait (about 10 minutes), go karts was about 30 minutes wait time. FOOD ------ I posted pictures with what they offer (which is more than just hot dogs) and the prices. The food looked really good: pizza, burgers, buffalo melt fries; but we didn't try any of it. BATHROOMS ------------- I really am not sure how often they clean their bathrooms, they look so gross. And we're not talking "oh some people came in here and were total pigs"; we're talking on top of the urine and dirt everywhere, dust, full sanitary disposal boxes, paper all over the floor. I'm the type of person that if the restroom looks like that and that's what the employees in the kitchen are using, I'm skeptical about the hygiene of the person handling my food. I enjoyed myself here with it having a bar, video games, indoor and outdoor go carts and laser tag. I found myself playing video games with the kids and racking up tickets too. I haven't video games in a while but I was in a winning streak with the ninja turtle game that I was playing with my 10 year old niece. There's a lot to do and there's an area where they sell food and drinks too which by the way has a nice size seating area and the bar area is cool too. This was a fairly difficult course, but without all the normal mini golf obstacles. We played the far right yellow course and at least half the holes had challenging conditions with hills and weird hole placements. This is a course where you could possibly get a six on every hole, so most matches could be competitive. On this day, I was the winner and the golf was a out $12 a round. I took my son up here for his birthday and he loved the place. The go carts was his favorite. Being able to ride a tandem with his dad was a treat and he got to see his dad drive like a professional racecar driver. The arcade was his second favorite. They had tons of games. Wow..low reviews for an AWESOME place! I had so much fun at Boomers. I tried to come back a second time but there was not enough time. It is fun here. There is so much here to do. We played Mini Golf(I lost) and air hockey(I won). The air hockey was particularly fun. I've always enjoyed that and Boomer's has a great atmosphere that makes it even more fun. There are also all kinds of games. Arcade games galore. That's not really my thing but if it's yours, you've found a home here. There are so many and Boomers offers so much to do, there is something for everyone. I enjoyed it way more then I expected to frankly. And on a rainy day, which is common in Florida, it is a great place to hang out. They also have tables and you can get snacks. They have popcorn and it's quite tasty. Actually the popcorn is utterly delicious. After a day of games, sports, however you decide to amuse yourself here, there is nothing better then some salty popcorn and a nice refreshing soda. It is particularly fun because there's so much to do indoors as well as out. I would say plan to stay awhile. read more

They are ok, could be kept a bit cleaner and use some renovation. I did my sons birthday party and didn't like the overall experience. When I borrowed a knife to cut the cake they made me feel like I was going to take the knife home with me. I was in the middle of cutting the cake and the attendant showed up with the bill to be paid and stood there impatiently rushing payment. My husband had to leave the gathering to go make the payment. All at once this place is great and awful. I recently took my 3 kids here, all under 7, and they had a blast. The look on their face when they entered was probably what I look like when I walk into a casino: shock and awe, joy and excitement. They loved the rock climbing and bumper boats and there were tons of games to play. While most attractions had reasonable lines for a Saturday evening, the lines for the go karts was absurd, easily 100 people long. We settled for the kids go karts instead where it was a much more reasonable wait, though it was undoubtedly less interesting. A big negative at Boomers is that everything is ridiculously expensive and it's not even that nice of a place. For example, it's $10 per person for a 5 minute bumper boat ride. For a family of 5 that's $50...$50 for just one 5 minute attraction!! That's almost Disney World money for a single ride in a glorified Chuck E Cheese. The other big negative is atmosphere. We happened to stop in at dusk and the clientele was a bit rough around the edges to say the least. Foul language and lack of manners were pervasive throughout the entire facility and it really made me think twice about taking my kids back. I have to say, it's really sad that in this day and age some adults (even some with their own kids!) have no self awareness and are content to use foul language in front of children in what is essentially a kid oriented facility. What the hell are they thinking? For families who don't want to deal with kind of toxic behavior, I'd absolutely recommend avoiding the weekends and evenings and trying for an early weekday morning visit. In the end, Boomers is decent place but one with an identity crisis. They really need to decide whether they want a family friendly atmosphere where kids can play safely or a cavalcade of low brow adults who want to drink and party. Surprise, this place is still in business! It's not as much the location, but it's the staff, the people working here really don't care to have a job. No smiles, no courtesy they really don't give a shit. They were out of half the concession stand items. The drinks were all flat. They didn't care to buckle any of the children in bumper cars but yet height is an issue if the child is a half an inch too short. So picking and choosing your safety concerns really is not my thing. Several machines are broken (eg: basketball game only has one ball, air hockey takes your credits and does not release the puck, etc) and many take your credits and crash prior to the game start. The place is incredibly dirty too. The bathrooms are nasty. Go Kart and Laser Tag passes are sold separately from arcade, making it a pretty expensive day out. I don't think all the negative reviews are really accurate. I am so glad I decided to go with my instinct and head here for a few hours in New Year's Eve day. The lines aren't terribly long if you go early enough and the staff is all friendly. Hopefully they will be running specials for you, too (specials available at the counter... no tricky online-only BS). But if no promos, the day pass is worth it if you want go karts more than twice. I would avoid starting my fun at 4 PM or later here. It really starts filling up at about 4pm and lines for the karts are the longest which eats into your fun. Well, you can watch the idiots try and figure out how to park their karts at the end. It's actually a lot of fun to laugh at people who panic and mash the gas pedal instead of the brake and/or run into barriers and other cars. Of course, I feel sorry for the other cars' passengers who probably experience whiplash from the event. Hint, hint... When everyone corrals up at the end, just keep your foot heavy on the break until they announce that everyone can exit. It helps! So, these aren't the fastest go carts in the world, but they're a lot of fun! Each race lasts 5 minutes (sometimes up to 6). It takes about 15 minutes between starts (time to park is at least two minutes, time to sanitize another two minutes and time to enter and get everyone prepared to race is another five minutes or so). For those of you worried about the virus, they spray down all the go carts and seem to wipe down some of the stuff throughout the facility. So there's that. Let's be honest here: If you're really worried, just stay in your home and leave your kabookie theater beliefs for somewhere that is under your complete control. Every one makes up here, and the staff enforced it regularly. Even on the karts going full speed. The rock wall is fun and is a nice break from ramming into people (bumper boats and bumper buggies and even the go karts). Laser tag can be teams or melee. The scenery is unimaginative but good enough to have fun with. Yup - you may even be playing with TOTAL STRANGERS... the horror!!! :-)'. Remember those days when you weren't afraid of other people? The food was all pretty good, too be honest. If you don't have a deal that includes food, I'd suggest packing your food unless you want to spend another $20 per person for lunch. I can't say the food is worth the money at that price, but it was good and certainly did its job since we had the holiday deal that included meals for each of us. Time from order to eating was about 7 or 8 minutes. Certainly respectable of our time. We didn't play any video games, and most people were having more fun doing activities then video games as well. That actually says something in today's day and age, IMO. The bumper boats were way more fun than I anticipated. It's certainly a nice way to cool off on a warm day :-) My two boys (11 & 13) and I will be back for sure next time we're in town. Our pass was good for 4 hours. That was JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT. Even the teenager didn't feel like he had to prove anything to anyone or try to be "too cool." it was just fun for the whole family :-) in fact, kids of all ages from really young to teenager to old fogeys had smiles on their face. I don't actually think I heard anyone complain the entire four hours! For me to give this place a five star rating really means something. If I was able to give 4 1/2, I would. Probably one of the worst places I've ever been in my life. Got a coupon from groupon to come here with my wife to have a good time. The place is super little, we didn't had any acces to play with arcade games (my bad for not reading the "coupon"). We payed 60 bugs for not even playing 3 hours. All that's included is like the exterior gaming (less the bat practice place). So literally we payed 60 bugs for unlimited go karts, boat, wall climbing and mini golf.. super scam. We had to pay 10 more for playing a little of the arcades which lot of them had problems on swiping the card they give you. The customer service is so bad, you literally have to call the people wherever you at to get attention. Many of the rides were closed and nobody there you had to go for the guys to go to open the rides. The laser tag was... like meh... wasn't so big and you could see everything. It is suppose to be darker. Overall disgusting experience, super expensive place and short little space and games. Place was clean and a/c was decent. read more
