Packed with kids, but a fun place to be. Laser tag is $10 a person for roughly 15/20 minutes of running around. It was raining so the mini gulf was closed. If you have little ones this can be a very fun place for them to run around and play games. Not as challenging for adults. I do find their prices pretty expensive too. So this place really isn't all that. There's not that many games as I anticipated. And to play them was rather expensive. Most games are $1.50 to 2 dollars to play and they last maybe 15 to 20 seconds. There are way too many kids here. And the problem with that is they're all unsupervised. Horrible experience. The whole place is just a rip off, every other machine you go on is broken and you have to walk back to the front to get a manager to fix it. After 5 times we requested to just get a refund for the remaining funds we didn't use and they refused. This place is run down & barely any games to choose from, don't waste your money. I was so excited to go to Boomers. I haven't been since the old location closed as a child. As a mom, I was super excited to bring my daughter. For starters, we rented a Cabana so we were provided a particular rate for the attractions which was no problem. The front desk staff was unaware of this and couldn't help. A patron advised us to go to the party check-in area. We waited for about 10/15 minutes for someone to come to assist us. The card comes with "50 arcade points" so we started with the arcade. This ended very quickly as the games can cost up to "15 points each". Please note: When purchasing additional points the minimum is $10 for 50 points. The UNLIMITED pass only applies to the three or Four main attractions. ALL of the games inside except for the bumper cars were card/token. We then rotated between the activities indoor and outdoor. The water ride barely works. The boats were impossible to steer. I had to tow my daughter to the wall. Only 3 boats worked out of all of the boats. The ride time is pretty long for all of the rides and with most of the boats not working the lines were very long. We had the same experience with the go-karts outside only a few were working and with the extended wait we ended up not riding. EVERYTHING on the food was DOUBLE DIGIT PRICED. The drinks were not far behind at $8. I definitely wouldn't return. The batting cages are down and have been for months. It wasn't worth the money or drive as we traveled from Miami to Boca. It's so unfortunate that a place that used to be for family fun is run down and OVERPRICED. Please find something worth the money to take your kids to enjoy. Only went for the mini-golf...I thought the course was creative and eye-pleasing, some water features and clever rock features, but it does not get swept enough or cleaned very often (a couple of putters caught under the bridge, some holes in the fake rocks) and the courses were not designed well enough to keep bank shots on the green, but bank shots are necessary for most holes. A water fountain might be nice somewhere in the course, too. read more

Worst Experience ever due to the horrible security guard standing at the go carts and the awful manager and supervisor considering themselves in charge. I am a 66 year old grandmother waiting on line with my four year old grandson so he could ride the go carts. It was an approximate 1 hour wait. He was sittiing with my son right next to the line because he had to use the rest room. I stayed on the line and my son took him. When they came back my son handed him over the rail to me and took my place on line and I attempted to get off the line as it was hot and I wasn't feeling great. The security guard proceeded to tell my son and grandson to get off the line as he couldn't switch with me. I proceeded to tell him the situation and he called a manager and entire" swat team" and created absolute havoc on the line in front of a child for no reason what so ever. The Manager and her side kick Brenna were the dumbest people I ever met and not capable of selling a hot dog let alone running a park. The nerve of them to behave as if we were criminals and threaten to shut the ride down if my son didn't get off the line. I had literally stood on that line for one hour! We are a professional, educated, law abiding family totally harassed by power hungry people who did not have a clue as to what happened and would not listen. They all need to be fired. I asked them to please call the police and they ignored me. Needless to say we will never go back. That place is a bad place because of the people in charge! BTW, everyone on the line was in our defense and telling the lunatic security that we were fine and did nothing wrong! Nightmare of an afternoon! read more

I've been to Boomers in the past but not since the pandemic. We had some family in town so we thought it would something fun for everyone to do. We had a group of 6, and everyone found something to do! We loved the bummer cars, the go karts, and laser tag. It was super fun. We also tried mini golf and the bummer boats which were not my favorite-- but others in the group enjoyed it. The boomer cards makes everything so easy. You just load money on it and swipe with the games and different attractions. When I was a kid I always like watching the tickets come out of the machines, which doesn't happen because it just loads on the card. So that was disappointing-- but is still very practical. Overall it was a good experience. It was a bit expensive and closed a little early (8 on Thursday) but besides that, everyone had a great time. read more

Came here for a competitive game of mini golf with friends I think maybe our expectations were a little too high. The $10 per person seemed to be a little steep for this mediocre course that is badly in need of a renovation. I was wishing the game would end after about 3-4 holes in. The attendant was obliviously as bored as the game and offered nothing not even a smile. I think a kid under the age of 5 would find this place exciting and quite the adventure but unless your toting one of these with you it is quite disappointing. As we drove up to the mostly empty parking lot it was clear the attendance is down I'd be amazed if this place survives. Only thing that comes to mind is "been there done that" fortunately there were only a total of 4 other people on the course so there was no waiting. read more

Went on December 31st, 2014. It was raining so the second busiest attraction was Lazer tag. The guy behind the counter kept sending people away even though attraction was not to capacity. He kept bragging to a Jewish couple that he was Jewish, born in Israel and working for the Jewish center was a better job. This man was bragging how he would send people away from going in due to not wanting to be bothered. Apparently Doing His Job Was Over work. Staff members unattentive and the bathrooms were horrific. I will not bring my family to a facility that is as filthy and at times as bigoted as this place. read more

We came here with 5 kids without any idea of how pricing or the rides work. Brooke and Hector were both extremely patient and kind and helped us find the right deal for us. Hector especially went above and beyond explaining what options would work. Would recommend this place based off of the customer service alone! read more

Very mixed review. Expensive for what it is but the kids loved it so worth it. The day pass was $50 but the kids went on go karts countless times. I personally thought they were lame. It was impossible to pass but I guess I'm too competitive. There's a bar / helpful for grandparents. Haha Arcade was a mess. Half of the games didn't give tickets. And the prizes were ridiculous. Rock wall was fun. Bumper boats and cars were fun. Laser tag was enjoyable. Everything was ok but just seemed like a lot for what we got. Paid extra for batting cages that didn't work. Went in and told them and they said they reset it but still didn't work so we gave up. $3 for water and Gatorade in vending machine. A little much. Didn't do mini golf because it was 100000 degrees out and it was in pure sun. No shade. Not sure if we would come back. Sorry if this isn't helpful. I'm so torn about the whole day!!!! My kids would say go go go. But prepared to spend $100 per person when all is said and done. read more

Our party of five stopped in for some go-karts and arcade games. We arrived and was told due to the rain showers earlier in the day, the track was closed. Okay--understandable. This is a fun place to spend a lot of time (and money). I hadn't been here in years, but came up yesterday with my boyfriend so we could spend some time out of the house. A few games in the arcade area were broken, while some others might as well have been because they were in poor shape (the jetski one was awful). But we had fun playing against each other on a lot of the games, and won tickets from skee ball. We went to see what prizes we could get for our whopping 64 tickets, and managed to score a finger trap, plastic frog, pirate eye patch, and some tootsie rolls. The girl behind the counter looked miserable... actually, all of the employees did. I guess it didn't help that no one was manning the main ticket counter, so the snack counter people had to do it all. They didn't look amused. We went outside to play a round of mini golf. The previous review that mentioned the poor condition of the golf course was spot on. I had last been here back in 2002 or so and was rather surprised to see how deteriorated they had let it get. Many of the holes had torn or worn-down greens, and they had just given up on about half of the course entirely and stopped having water run through it (which actually came in handy since we had to climb in there to retrieve our errant balls, which had gone into where the water once was, due to a fence that had missing panels). It's too bad, it used to be such a nice course. We then went to go on the go-karts. We decided to just do a doubles one since the passenger was free. We get up to the gate and the guy tells us he has to charge for the passenger since I'm an adult and not a child. Nowhere on any of the signs in the building does it say you have to be a child. There's a height minimum, but no maximum, and no age limit listed, and all of the signs say the passenger rides free. The guy called his manager over who told us the same thing. Fine, we don't mind paying for me to ride my own go-kart, but change your signs because they're misleading. Anyway, the go karts were fun, and I won against two guys (my boyfriend and another guy), so that made me happy ;) It was a fun couple of hours and I'm glad we went, but the place was just okay and really needs some improvement, both in appearance and equipment. read more

This place has a lot of fun activities, the arcade is great! My only critique would be the temperature in the place. People are running around and the equipment is not cleaned often from what I can tell. After I left I felt like I wanted to shower for sure. But all in all very cool. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME - HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Brought my kids and wife here for a fun time Sunday. We first tried the go karts. We waited 3 rounds of go karts before it was our turn. We told the guy working there we needed 2 single karts and 1 double karts. He said he did not have 2 single karts available. Then he started letting people in back of us into karts and fills up 3 single karts. So now we had to wait another turn even though there was enough karts to accommodate us in the first place. I understand there is more karts then can be counted on your fingers, the math is too complex. I get it. Perhaps they should give their employees a calculator? When we finally got to ride they must've stopped all the karts at least 7 times. It took the fun right out of it. We made a complaint to the manager, who gave us another free go, but I don't think it mattered because the guys that work the go karts never charged the play card. So maybe we could've just kept riding over and over again for free. Then we played the miniature golf. The guy that worked miniature golf said there was 2 courses. We asked what the difference was. The looked on this guys face was like we just asked him to explain quantum psychics to us. He was so lost and literally says "um....well...i dont know". Okay great, thanks for the helpful insight. We tried the red course. I have to admit, it was fun. That was the best part of the experience. After we went in for arcades. My son wanted to try air hockey, so we used the play card so we can play. It lights up and comes on, but there was no puck there -____- So we patiently wait for a worker to come over and help us. Finally a worker comes over, gets the puck, and in the meantime another family comes up to play at the same table. They swiped their play card and the worker gives them the puck! lol So we were like wth man? So he said he thought they were with us and he credits our account. So then we try skeeball. Swipe card, doesn't work, get credit haha. Then I walk over to the basket ball arcade, swipe card, game starts, but there is only 1 ball! I could only take 3 shots before it ended. Got another credit. I definitely will not be back. The place is worn down like crazy. It needs a serious revamp. Same goes for the employees. Most of them are just young and really just don't care. What a great day!! We went on a Tuesday. So much to do. Very reasonably priced. About $40 for everything and 50 game credits. Most of the staff was friendly. Maria at the front was especially kind and helpful. The month of August is free for teachers, first responders, nurses and more. They offer a significant AAA discount. I was here years ago and forgot how much fun it is for an almost 50 year old! The adults may have had more fun than the kids! read more

Came here for mini golf. Was a fun track with hills. Took some pictures, saw some lizards, and got some dippin' dots that lasted through the first few holes. Had a huge laugh that around sunset the lizards were coming out of the holes of some courses and actually appeared to live under or in them. Saw both the invasive Cuban curly tails and a few of the native ones. It was a little warm so we only did one round, but it was fun. Definitely recommend it. But I would go on shaded or cooler days as it's all outdoors and mostly all in the sun. We did a bunch of ski ball, which the kind they have there is timed so throw fast. And also played some air hockey. All in all for about $30 had a couple hours of fun as adults. We'll probably go back and just keep playing here and there and collecting tickets for nothing in particular. My boyfriend grew up coming to this place so loves it from nostalgia. Reminded me that it's been there for almost 20 years. read more

Wow, I really hate giving this place a bad review so let me be very clear. I love Boomers. I'm a youth pastor in the Miami area and we bring a group of 20 to 30 kids here every year. That will most likely end today. Last year we arrived and we had bought 4 hour fun passes for all the kids. It was raining when we arrived so naturally all the outdoor activities were closed. No worries, they gave us video game vouchers for non ticket games to try and make up for it until the rain stopped. 2 hours into our 4 hour visit the rain had stopped completely. Still they refused to open any outside activities because everything was wet. Keep in mind, this is South Florida where it rains every day. Here we are a year later and the same thing happened again. This time the rain was shorter. 30 minute spatter of rain and everything closed for the rest of the day! I'm almost positive that this place is sending staff home at the hint of rain to cut overhead costs down but banking on the 600 and some dollars we just spent to play video games all night. I'm sorry, but if you have to close all your outdoor activities for the rest of the day because of a 30 minute rain storm, how do you stay open down here? Planning events for 30 teenagers takes too much time and energy to get here and find out it's a bust. On a positive note, you can't beat the group rate price for this place. 4 hours of mini golf, go karts, bumper boats, laser tag, bumper cars and a climbing wall for the small price of $20.00 per person is amazing! But here I am, sitting here (outside btw) writing a review instead of hitting some golf balls around because it rained 2 hours ago. We brought our two college age kids here and the whole family had fun. Mini golf prices are very reasonable and the course is fun. The go karts were very reasonable too. Then we found that they doubled back onto the card what we had spent so we ended up with some extra money to play the arcade games. It was a good value for the money sent. This is a fun place to have a low-key date night or take the kids on the weekend or one of those rainy summer days. There are ample games to play including ski ball, AirHockey and other challenging games, not just video games. Outside is a racing track and other outside is a racing track, boats and other features. Inside there is laser tag which has a great maze and is quite fun to play if you've never played. They also do birthday parties and there is a bar in the back if you just want to chill and watch sports on TV while others play. Definitely a good place to have a casually fun time with friends and family. read more

This place is the most affordable, fun filled place for both adults and children! I took my 7 year old and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. I bought the 1 year unlimited rides card which was $45, of you buy 3 or more it's $41. It also includes $15 of game play. With the rides they have, it's totally worth it! The rides include, indoor mini bumper cars, a wet ride, go karts for both adults and children, laser tag and rock climbing. If your child is not tall enough to ride the big go karts, you can ride with them in a two seater go kart. The arcade is a good size with a large selection of games to choose from. The staff is professional and always eager to help. They also have a good selection of toys to choose from with your gaming tickets. For the adults, there is a great bar in the back, perfect for you to sit down, have a drink and keep an eye on your child. My son and I had such a great time! The only issue I can see is if it's crowded, I'm sure you will have to wait a while to get on the rides. Other than that, I would definitely recommend taking your child to this establishment. read more

I'll make this easy. Daughter's bday party.....purchased the "Wow VIP package" $39.99/Child plus all of the extras......includes among other things...4 hours of Unlimited Video Games. (Check out the website) First....the hostess explained to the kids that they each get 150 points......I heard this....pulled up the WOW VIP PACKAGE on my phone and showed her that it was 4 hours of Unlimited Video Games for the kids. She went back...checked....and said they corrected it. Next.....about 45 minutes into our 4 hours......kids started coming back saying the cards don't work....and they are out of points. I WENT BACK TO THE OFFICE....with these anxious kids standing around waiting. This time another girl says the Unlimited games are only for the Video games that don't give points. WHAT?? IT DOES NOT SAY THAT ANYWHERE ON THE WEBSITE..(It has since been added on the website). Did we make up this rule today?? Daughter's bday.....not wasting time. I went back...filled up all of the kids' cards with more money.....and let them go back to play. TOTAL SCAM!! So many of the games give points...so now I am putting out more money filling up the cards....felt embarrassed. $1800 later (Total for the party)....this is the review. Felt Scammed..... will follow up with Corporate. This is a bait and switch. Documented on the website. If Corporate doesn't respond.....I'll make sure my law firm has them take down the misleading website so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Won't make this mistake again. read more

I went after a fun day at the museum and this place single handily ruined my entire groups day. We showed up excited and full of energy but that was cut short when we entered. After being greeted by an apathetic employee and paid for a family package (100$) we trekked towards the mini golf refusing to let the air breather not get us down. Once we went to the mini golf course the employee, while quiet, greedily took our points and when I politely asked what her favorite color was she ignored me and refused to answer. I couldn't help but notice the skies started to grey. An ominous sign of the terrible things to come. As we started to mini golf, 2 other patrons came up to the cold, distant point taker to complain. She seemed unfazed and directed them to a "manager". This mysterious manager as I would come to find out was the incredibly rude troll they send all problems to. We go through the mini golf and have a jolly good time. Once we completed our trek, we went in to play arcade games. Unfortunately, I was actively bamboozled out of about 130 points, and when I asked for assistance, another employee threw her hands up as if she was too thick to form words. Needless to say, we were not happy and complained to the fabled manager Brooke. This troll of a human begrudgingly gave us a refund but not before she berated my partially deaf friend. We attempted to cash out our tickets and were informed the scanners were down. So all of the tickets we made were totally unusable. Had a nice time here recently with friends playing mini golf, racing the go-karts and checking out the arcade. This is a good place to visit if you're just looking for something fun to do, but also for families, groups, birthdays, and even office parties. There is a decent amount of parking available out front. Pricing is on the expensive side, and ticket information can be confusing to figure out unless you ask the staff to break it down for you (the staff we encountered were all polite, but not necessarily enthusiastic or anything). The inside is a very loud and overstimulating environment, so keep that in mind if you or your kids are sensitive to that. I enjoyed the mini golf course most. Yes, now that I think back I agree with some of the other reviewers that it is a bit run down in spots and could use a minor refurbishment, but it serves its purpose more than well. It wasn't a very challenging course, but the scenery is nice and it is all still fun overall; just be careful where you strike your ball so it doesn't end up in the water, outside the fences, etc. One thing to note is that if there are a lot of people playing behind you, you may feel pressured to hurry your game along, so try to keep a steady pace. The go-kart track was cool. They tell drivers not to bump, but the lanes are not incredibly wide, so this is difficult to avoid (just be on your guard). As for the arcade, there is a great variety of games, simulators, and attractions here which will keep you entertained for a while. Definitely take some time to check this out. read more

Ah, Boomers. Until recently, I hadn't set foot in this place since I was about 15. While I didn't grow up in South Florida, I used to come visit my family after they moved to the Boca/Delray area, and the mini golf at Boomers was a frequent stop. Boomers is a great time for kids of all ages. Granted, it's probably a bit more fun if you have an actual kid in your midst, just to see their pure joy at all the awesome games and activities Boomers has to offer. But even with a group of adults (age-wise, at least), good times will be had. We opted to each splurge for the 4-hour unlimited pass, which included unlimited non-ticket-giving video games, as well as unlimited use of the climbing wall, go-karts, bumper boats, laser tag, and mini-golf. At $30, it's not exactly cheap, but a great deal of fun can be had for that relatively small price tag. By far, my favorite Boomers activity was the bumper boats. The "boats" are essentially motorized inner tubes with a seat and a water gun. You can barely steer the thing, and if you turn the motor/gun/steering wheel too much one way, you might just end up spinning in circles. I ended up completely drenched from head to toe, but honestly had a smile on my face the whole time. A word to the wise - bring a change of clothes, or plan on playing some mini-golf afterwards to dry off in the sun. Another helpful hint - if you're planning on doing the climbing wall or the go-karts, make sure you bring closed-toe shoes. The staff didn't seem to be enforcing this rule on my most recent visit, but they have been known to do so in the past. The video game selection is pretty good - though the non-ticket-dispensing ones seem to be limited to various driving/racing games. They had the life-size Fruit Ninja game, which I'd been wanting to play, since I'm a recovering Fruit Ninja (for iPad) addict. It was cool, but not necessary worth over $1 a game. For a day of fun for the whole family, give Boomers a shot. Whether you stick to the outdoor activities, or throw some video games or the climbing wall into the mix, you'll be sure to have a great time! read more
