Great experience on Sunday!! We did the 10am class. I did wakeboarding for a week about 15 years ago and was pretty good at it off the back of a jet ski! This is not quite what I remembered and as an adult, I'm very happy I did the class instead of just trying without it. The instructors were a great help, great attitudes. Overall great energy. The place is very clean. Anyway, we're deciding to do one more class in January to get a little more stable and comfortable before going on our own. As a beginner who is learning Kiteboarding but have no board skills, I've been to the park the last 3 weekend, including yesterday and today for the morning class10-12pm. I've progressed well and am now rounding the course repeatedl. The staff has to be the friendliest I've ever encountered and the guys at the launch, especially Alan up top, were patient and continually helpful, providing advice and encouragement all the time. I did the novice wakeboarding class with a group, and I couldn't recommend it more. It was so much fun, and a great way to try something new. The instructors were super knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. There are plenty of options for all skill levels. Even within the novice class, you have the option to kneel or stand, and there are ramps if you choose to try them. It felt very organized and safe. It is a lot more taxing on the arms than I anticipated; I thought it would be more in the legs. Be prepared to be very sore for a few days afterward, especially if you're not used to it. read more

Had an awesome time here this weekend. The park is a ton of fun. It was my first time riding in a cable park and the whole staff was great. I didn't catch all their names but Alan who was working the front desk is so customer oriented. He helped us get the right boards, made sure to answer all of our questions and was so friendly. It took a couple tries to get the hang of going around the bends. Once you do that down, the jumps are super fun as is the whole course. If you choose this place to have a good time and it's your first time, please don't be fooled. This is not a pleasant easy bowling or mini golf. This rope goes 19 miles an hour, no option for slow speed for beginners. My friends in each paid $45 for 2 hours just to be jerked off the shore 4-5 times in 2 hours. This is the third year my daughter goes to ski rixen and she has a blast. Only advise is apply a lot of sunscreen.

It's hard to get up but once you get up the ride is awesome! Be prepared to fall on your face at high speeds but shake it off and keep trying. Came here on Sunday morning the wait wasn't to long to ride ( plus the waiting in line gives you a nice little break to catch your breath). Wake boarding is the hardest thing to do here so if you are super new at this maybe start with the double skis or knee boarding, they let you switch either way if you wana go harder or easier. Such a fun place to go!! My son is only a toddler so he is too young to knee board or water ski, but he loves to watch! I love that they have a little sand area with chairs for those who want to watch AND they have plenty of picnic tables too! I tried water skiing here a few years ago, and it was a blast! First time at a cable park, had a great time. Only complaint was the walk back to the ramp was more tiring than actual riding, and getting burnt feet from walking barefoot on the hot concrete. Would be great to see the management trade riding time to the regulars in exchange for an hour of driving a golf cart around and picking up riders on their way back. Awesome experience. I took my 2 sons (8 and 9) and they did the 2 hour lesson. It was amazing. They were so patient and were great at explaining what to do. If you have never done wakeboarding I would recommend doing the lesson. The class is before they open and everyone is learning. My kids had a blast and we will definitely be back. read more

This place is a huge disappointment. When my bro in law and my sist brought me there I was super existed. I love wake boarding and i go frequently in Europe. I have tried several park and this is by far the worst. It is rather expensive but that is not the point. $45 before taxes for the all equipment is " ok " if you have decent equipment. 1- The one I got is really insulting... they gave me a safety jacket in small (I am 6'2 and 160lbs) and a board way too small 139 (I usually use 141). I went with it but it was really not comfy. I asked for a board insisting i want the 141. The guy made me wait for so long that i some point I was going to leave. Then he gave me this board ‍... 2- the Second really annoying thing is that they don't set a limit on the number of people... when we arrived we were already like 15 people riding. I gave up queuing 20 minute before the end of my hour because of that. This is no good condition. 3- From the riding perspective the gates are not optimally placed. It is making the turn not accessible to beginners. I was fine and it helped reducing the queuing time. I would have been pissed if I was a beginner! read more

If you don't let go quickly when things go wrong, you will slam down onto the water with incredible force. This is what happened to me, and my neck was hurt very badly, but is 95% recovered one month after my visit. The experienced folks were having a great time, and made it look easy. All of the newbies, myself included, were having a very rough time. This is NOT easy, and when things go wrong it can be very painful. read more

They were blown away at how nice and helpful the staff were to them as they had never done it before. The staff are all experts but couldn't of been cooler and nicer to a bunch of beginners.
