My daughter has a blast at this place. You can bring your own food and they have huge umbrellas to not been in the sun all day. It's $9.50 to get in per person. If you go after3:00 the price is reduced. Overall, this is a great waterpark for young kids mainly. The slides are great and tons of life guards.

Nice place to cool off with the family at an amazingly affordable price. Very close to the 95 easy to get to. Perfect for family fun. Also you can bring your own food inside the park. Free parking. It has 3 pools and several slides.

Pretty nice park for the little kids there is a deep pool for older people but other than that. Not much for adults. They have a cafe where they sell some stuff to eat

I've been plenty of times, but with my dog not people. I brought my daughter and her friend. Everything was open, the pools were nice and clean and everyone was having a good time. There is three different pools. A shallow pool with smaller equipment in for real little kids. The next pool is a bit bigger and around eighteen inches deep at the deepest part. That is the pool with the water play ground. The slides are not to large, it's good for the younger kids whom might be still to small to use the slides at CB smith's water park. Then there is a giant walk in pool, it's only five feet deep at its deepest part. It's great for the adults or older kids. For me it was a little strange to be in this pool because I had only been here with my dog when they have the k9 water festival. It's a great park for the whole family.

What is the price to enter?

Going by the receipt, 8.88 per person before taxes all day. Lesser price after 3pm, I think 5 and change before taxes.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why my folks didn't bring us here every weekend as a kid…read moregrowing up in Plantation. This water park is fantastic. I came with my two kids (3 and 6), my parents, my brother and his family (1 and 6) and my high school friends and their kids (9 and 12) and EVERYONE had a blast! The key was to get there early so you could enjoy all the attractions without the lines that form as the day goes on. We found loungers right away, grabbed tubes and hit the lazy river, and after a few relaxing laps, we headed for the splash pad. My 3 year old didn't leave there for the rest of the day. He was completely enthralled with all of the splash features, water slides, and fun that surrounded him. The water was just deep enough that he could float around on his stomach but not deep enough to ever be too worried. The older kids and myself hit the big slides, which were a blast. For a small waterpark, these were solid. The design kept you on your toes and they picked up enough speed to give you a little rush. They have an onsite cafe but they also allow you to bring in your own cooler, which is amazing! We packed a picnic and had a great lunch as a group. The one pro-tip I have is to book a FUNBRELLA! We thought about it too late, but these shaded pavilions are perfect for groups and reasonably priced so you don't even need a special occasion to get one. Sure I remembered it being much bigger, but Paradise Cove delivered!

We went on a week day and it was not crowded, which was nice. The only downside, is that a lot of the slides are enclosed so they are dark. It took a minute for my daughter to get used to. She can not wait to go back.

The service was great, Diego was very attentive and always passing by to check in on us, very nice. The slides were insane but soo much fun. There is one slide that I definitely did not go on because it was crazy, you stand into it and out of no where it drops you. It looks very scary lol Definitely would come back again to spend the day here. The lazy river was very nice and relaxing until our friends got wild. But overall it was very fun.

We arrived right when the park opened at 10 AM on a Wednesday, and were greeted by a super friendly staff. They helped us complete waivers for each student. It was easy to do on your phone or the tablets they provided. After getting our wristbands, we headed straight for the beach chairs right in front of the slides. Great view, great energy! The kids were hyped and didn't waste a second before running up the stairs to hit the slides. There are about 3-4 slides total (one was down for maintenance), and even though it's a bit of a hike to the top, they didn't mind one bit. Meanwhile, I was loving the lazy river right behind us. So calm. So peaceful. 10/10 would recommend. There's also a big pool with tons of lounge chairs that the students loved, and a splash zone for the younger ones that was also a hit. One thing I really appreciated as a chaperone? There were plenty of lifeguards stationed throughout the park. I never had to second guess the kids' safety. They were being watched from every angle. That gave me so much peace of mind. We ordered pizza and burgers for lunch, and I the pizza tasted even better this year. Im pretty sure they updated the recipe. The burgers and fries (for the chaperones) were bomb. Zero complaints! Food was kind of pricey though. ‍ I was very happy with the restrooms. Clean, air-conditioned, and playing music. Love that little touch. Best part? No rain this year! WE wrapped up around 2:15 PM after a fun and sunny day. Our poolside attendant was so kind and helpful. I hate that I can't remember his name, but he definitely made our experience even better. We'll be back for summer #4, no question!

We traveled as a family of three - husband, wife and…read moredaughter (8) The resort is located right on the beach unlike others that are across the street or require walking. It's also situated right on the boardwalk so you can easily take a nice walk in the morning, grab a quick scoop of ice cream (like 10 spots to choose from), shop for souvenirs or shirts and grab a quick diner. This made our stay super convenient because everything we needed was there! Most of the restaurants on the boardwalk are more fast casual with lots of Italian options. This worked well for our family because 2/3 of us are vegetarian. We did find a really nice upscale restaurant called GG's waterfront and it was only a two block walk from our hotel so not Ubers were needed. This made our trip to be honest. We love high end restaurants with fresh/quality food and this check every box. It's also situated for the most incredible sunset. So make sure you go. As for food the rest of the trip - for breakfast we just grabbed a Sammy from the coffee shop inside the hotel and they had some good options. Breakfast Sammie's, burritos (pre made but they warm them), fruit bowls, yogurt bowls, you name it. Then for lunch we always ate at the pool an really looked forward to it. This friend shrimp was outta this world and it's served with honey mustard which was so yummy. Prolly some of the best fried shrimp I've ever eaten at a pool. The we always got the cedar salad which was refreshing and we all split it. The only thing I wish they had more of was a nice guac - I'm talking with nice additions and super fresh / tasty. Then for diner we ate at the resort two nights - once on the upper desk restaurant overlooking the love music so we could hear it but not be in the action. The weekend nights are a little rowdy for our daughter. We were able to watch some sports on the outdoor tvs, listen to live music, watch the FlowRider and eat. The food was not great to be honest but the ambiance was incredible. Then one night we ate at the steakhouse at the property. Service was weird just felt awkward lol. But the food was good. The deviled eggs were top notch and some of the deserts. For drinks we always grabbed a South Sode gin drink from the coffee shop. If you like gin then it's a must. And at the pool our daughter lived on strawberry daiquiris (virgin) and we drank 1 pina colada (so much sugar) a day and then switched to mojitos (less sugar). We loved all the pool servers but they could prolly double the service at the pool bc people were kind of always waiting. Cabanas - we got a cabanas two of the days and it was incredible. It includes credit towards food and if you get one with a working tv you can watch tv. The NCAA tournaments were on so we got the cabanas two of the days we wanted access to the to each the games. It was also nice to have space and shade to relax. Treat yourself once day and grab one. FlowRider - WTF this was so cool! We're new to this and it was so fun for older kids. Our daughter was (8) did it two days and loved it. The instructors are so kind and helpful to those trying to learn. One of the trainers is in the top ten of all FlowRiders in the US. I did see some adults doing it but with a bad back we didn't want to risk it. The rooms were nice and cozy. We had one king and then ordered a pull away for our daughter. We do wish that they had more rooms with additional beds for the kids. Even the suites didn't include more beds. We prefer two kings, or king and a pull out and last resort would be two queens. I think they could def make the rooms better suitable for families. Construction - this was the only frustrating part to the end of our vacation. The last two days ( during spring break ) they were door construction right by the main pool and it was so loud that one of the days we had to leave the pool. Just seems like a really weird time to do construction The other negative was the main pool didn't have entertainment any of the days we were there (Saturday (night) - Thursday). It would have been nice to have some trivia, live music, or something. Also, for anyone else wondering if Margaritaville is child friendly it certainly is. They have a dedicated pool for kids with a small water slide, waterfall and activities. However, our daughter didn't want to hang out in the "baby pool" so we stayed at the main pool which had older kids and some other smaller kids. I'd say a majority of the people at the main pool were older kids and adults. Overall we would certainly come back to this hotel as we really enjoyed our stay!

Room wasn't up to cleanliness standards. Broken ironing board. Carpet had MULTIPLE stains. The building has too much wasted space. The lobby is grand and enormous for NO reason. Couldn't get into the gym. Daily resort fee, even if you don't use their "amenities." Oh, don't sit on the lobby furniture. It's as filthy as the carpet in the room I stayed in. We ate at Corsair for dinner one of the nights and the food was wonderful. We also had the breakfast buffet, which you can get at Corsair or Bourbon Steak, which was tasty with a pretty good selection of food to choose from. The staff was so friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. There's a Starbucks on the property with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy some coffee or your choice of drink. Tidal Cove, which is their water park/kids allowed pool, is also on the property and guests of the hotel can visit during the entirety of their stay for free. I think there's a restriction to the number of people, but we didn't have to worry about it since it was just my husband, me, and our young son. There was a kid's section with slides and shallow water, and there was a large pool for adults and kids, and then there was a "bigger kids"/adults section with much larger slides. All of this surrounded by a lazy river. The water is meant to be warm but it was pretty cold the first two days. Maybe the heater wasn't working but it was much better for the remaining days. There's a small restaurant that serves all kinds of food (they also have a kid's menu). There's also an ice cream shop, arcade, and a gift shop. It tends to get pretty crowded, particularly on the weekends. They accommodated us with a crib for our son at no additional charge, which was really nice. Now, the things that knocked off stars for us. It just doesn't feel like a 5 star resort. Things seem outdated. Their key card system was down and we were stuck in the garage for 20 minutes waiting in line to be let out (this issue was eventually somewhat fixed). The parking cost $45 for self parking PER DAY ($32 if you're just visiting Tidal Cove) and it was $55 for valet. I understand it's a high end hotel, but parking should never cost that much, ESPECIALLY for hotel guests. There really isn't much else to do if you're there for vacation if you're not going to Tidal Cove. Two restaurants, water park, and that was it. (Not including the Golf Course). I don't know, I guess I just expected more. The hotel isn't located near anything exciting. The mall is walkable distance, as well as the grocery store, drug store, and a park, but if you're looking to vacation somewhere where you can walk out and get excitement, this is not the place. I don't think i'd come back. I'd probably try somewhere close to South Beach next time.
