My little cousins birthday spot always takes place in CB Smith park. My cousin and his amazing wife always reserve shelter no.1. It's very spacious... I'm sure it fits about 60 guest or so. The park allows you to bring your own outside food. The restroom is walking distance from the shelter. ( At least for shelter 1). The restroom was clean. The park has several shelters throughout the park. Park offers several picnic tables so reservations are not needed but special days I would say to go early to claim your spot. The park has their own little water park area that you can visit for an extra fee. From what I remember as a child it has 2 water slides and a man made beach with beach chairs to sun bathe. It had a concession area. I do not think you can bring outside food to this area. The park offers kiddy play area with swing and slides , bike/walking trails, water sports, racquet ball and much more. I saw they even have a campground areas. I know they use to or still host the chilli cook off events at the park. Weekends the entrance fee is $3 per vehicle. Warning ‼ I've never seen any alligators in the park but they do have a warning signs. So keep an eye on the little ones by the water areas. Our shelter was near the water so we did have some ducks that crashed the party! Lol The park is pet friendly.

CB Smith has always been a my a reliable place to have fun. It is incredibly spacious; it's so big some of you might remember the county used to host the Chili Cook Offs there - but it's also a comfortable park that offers all the amenities a park should offer. From the tennis and basketball courts, to the lakes and trails, it's my favorite place to run at and relax. Additionally, the batting cages and golf course provide the closest and most reliable place in the county where to practice your swing. All in all, I highly recommend it!

A full service public park in Pembroke Pines with tons a ammenities including Tennis, Golf Driving Range, Batting Cages and a Water Flume Park. Entry is FREE during the weekdays and only $3.00 per vehicle on weekends and holidays with plenty of self parking throughout. Each year in January, this park hosts one of the largest chili events in Florida which is the 99.9 Kiss Country Chili Contest with live music and thousands of patrons. The tranquil outdoor settings include pavilions, jogging trails, wide lake and bicycle paths. Today, was an early morning relaxation time to just sit near the lake in my vehicle and breathe.

Just about every year, my husband and I have Family & Friends day, during the Summer, at CB Smith Park for our family and friends. We were looking at pavilions today, out here. I love this park. It's so much to do out here. It's a large water park, plenty of space for football, kickball, volleyball and also playgrounds for kids. We can't wait, for the picnic. :-)

From Flamingo Road it doesn't look like a lot but once you enter this beautiful park you'll see all the awesome things it offers. It's free to visit during the week & only $3 per vehicle on the weekends so why not enjoy the outdoors when you get some free time. It's pet friendly (as long as you keep them on a leash) so you can bring your furry friends along too! CB Smith offers tons of picnic areas that are fully covered so you can stay out of the FL sun while enjoying some food. There's a water park, racquetball courts, basketball courts, paved trails for walking & so much more. There's also a good portion of campgrounds & they let RVs stay overnight. They allow fishing in pretty much all of the lakes inside. If there's a park amenity you can think of then it's likely to be here. I really appreciate how clean it's kept & that most of the visitors respect the surrounding nature. You rarely see trash left around because there are tons of accessible garbage cans. The park employees do a good job at monitoring this. This park has been great for so many years & it doesn't seem to be changing any time soon.

This park is beautiful for a morning run. Pickleball courses are very nice and I love scenery.

Missing stones around lots of holes at mini golf course.

We went mini golfing at CB Smith Park and was extremely disappointed at the lack of upkeep on the mini golf course. While the overall facility was nice including batting cages and driving range the mini golf was very unkept. There were broken and missing stones at practically every hole , leaves were not picked up or blown off holes. They offer no discounts for seniors or young children.

Discovered this gem of a park and I'm glad I did. It's huge. Perfect place for family reunions or cookouts or walking anything you want to do. Weekdays is free weekends you have to pay $3 a car and reserve a little pavilion to host a party. I walked and it took me 1 hr to do most of the trail. Amazing park in south Florida! Definitely recommend. Just be careful towards the back there are gators and snakes.

This is a great park to come hang out and spend some time here and I've been to more birthday parties here than I can count! They have shelters that you can rent for large parties or you can grab one of the many shaded picnic tables that they have available and enjoy a nice day at the park. They have a beautiful lake that you can fish from (no swimming because you know, gators in Florida), tennis courts, mini golf and a golf range, and a really fun water park. Be warned that the water park gets BUSY with people trying to beat the heat. There are plenty of grills available to BBQ from. They also have an expansive area where you can bring your campers and stay awhile if you choose. The park is very clean and very well maintained and is also pet friendly!

This is a huge, 299 acre park in Pembroke Pines located across the street from the mall. There is history here as the land was once used as a firing range for a gunnery school during World War II. The parcel of land was called Snake Creek Park and it was purchased by Broward County from the U.S. government in 1959. In 1967 it became a park named in honor of Broward County and the City of Hollywood Commissioner, Charles Barney Smith. The park has been closed for a long time while being used as a Covid testing site so it is great to see it back open although part of the park is being used for vaccinations. Three days ago Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the State of Florida will be opening a new monoclonal antibody therapy treatment site in C.B. Smith Park. Besides treating Covid, park amenities include the Paradise Cove Water Park containing four 50-foot-tall waterslides and a lazy river (closed for the season), campground, AllGolf a family golfing center, tennis complex, and a special events staging complex that hosts the yearly Chili Cook Off Festival. The park also has basketball courts, batting cages, biking/jogging/walking path, volleyball net, pickleball court, lakes for fishing, fitness facility, restrooms, picnic tables, grills, and picnic pavilions. Since it is a county park they charge $1.50 per vehicle on weekends and holidays. It is well worth it as there is so much to do here. The open area is sprawling and situated around many picturesque lakes. Come out and enjoy nature as you picnic, play, and relax in the beautiful outdoors of south Florida.

CB Smith Park is conveniently located off of Flamingo road in Pembroke Pines. I've been here so many times that I just assumed that I had written a review. This park is great for walking because it has so many paths. I've been to many parties at their pavilions. My children liked their water park when they were younger. Today I took my daughter's dog for a walk. It's nice that they have paved paths. He enjoyed the fresh air and the sun while investigating Pavillion #17. We need to walk here more often. It's very relaxing.

This visitor is set to spend a day and relax!

One of the highlights was that the city gave out free kites to all guests. The turnout was great, and the atmosphere was lively. One large field was dedicated to kite flying, while a baseball outfield was set up as a kids' zone with several bounce houses for different age groups. We brought a picnic setup and beach chairs and truly enjoyed spending the day here. Overall, it was a wonderful event, and this park is a great place to visit!

This is not the case at all! In the front of the park, there are 3 pavilions, a playground and splash pad. One of my parties was in this area. And it was great. You can enjoy the party while watching your kids play on the playground or the splash pad as everything is in close proximity. There is one pavilion that is a little further away but not too far away. The second party was in the nature center that is technically connected to the office. There is a closed in area and back patio. The back patio is where the second party was as it was a picnic theme. In addition to that the park offers a walking trail and someone mentioned that there is an area to see animals. I am not sure of the extent to that.

My friend and I have a pact to run every Saturday this month while exploring parks around Broward and this first Saturday of September we ventured to Miramar Pineland Park. I was not looking forward to this run since the first photos I saw were a trail with no shade but luckily, 3/4 of the trail were covered by shady trees! This park has the standar $1.50 per person entrance fee for weekends and holidays. Once you enter, the first part has a few pavilions for parties and a big playground with a splash pad (currently not in service.) If you keep driving, it leads you to the new Nature Center (I think) that isn't open yet and the beginning of one of their trails. This is the one we chose to take. It was very hot at 10am but we welcome the covered trail. Along the trail, there's a pathway that leads to a gazebo which overlooks nothing at the moment. If you run around the trail twice, it covers one mile. The nature center looks really nice and looks like it could be used for a wedding party or larger gatherings. The only thing is parking seems limited so I'm interested to see if they add any later. Driving out of the park, we noticed that there is also a "Wetland Trail" so you bet this is going to be one of our future runs. Hopefully we remember to bring sunblock as it looks like this one doesn't have any shade.

The Pirate Park Playground was built by Superior Playgrounds who was tasked with designing a one-of-a-kind pirate theme play space to spark creative play and provide a safe place for budding buccaneers to play. The playground is made of recycled material like milk jugs and was created to be corrosion resistant so that it would always look good in this salt water coastal ecosystem. Located only 100 feet from the beach, the playground is fenced in for safety. There is a large pirate ship for older children to climb on and slide down and a smaller area for younger privateers. The crows nest with rigging looked especially fun to climb. Other playground play structures include clownfish and blue tang fish spring riders, a custom octopus playhouse, and palm tree shade.
