First off parking is free and you can purchase ti keys before or at the park-same price whatever you choose. Come in costume cause everyone is dressed up. Every weekend is a different theme so check their website out. There was so much to see and do and eat and just be present for. We saw it all amd tried to drink as mu h as we could too..lol Bring cash as most vendors its there preference. Aside from the glorious fest that you can catch the whole month and comes once a year; The park is huge with water sports, biking, walks, relaxing,picnics and more. Camping at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield was an awesome experience. Its where nature truly meets comfort. The campground is perfect for a weekend getaway for camp lovers, family adventures and camping beginners. The campground doesnt require you to bring a tent as the tent is already provided. The tents come with electricity, water spigots, and even Wi-Fi, which made the stay super convenient. You will have to bring your everyday necessities (I.e blow up bed, flashlights, clothes, games, coolers, food/drinks, bug replient, etc) My friends and I played games, listened to music, karaoke and just bonded. We had an amazing time grilling, roasting marshmallows, and walking the beautiful trails. It was the perfect mix of outdoor fun and modern amenities. Quiet Waters Park also has other attractions such as a water park, bike trails, fishing, basketball court, and water skiing to name a few. The bathrooms are shared and aren't always cleaned. You will see creepy crawlers. Bring bug spray! We took time to unplug, unwind and enjoy the scenery. I was here for the Saigon Night Market. This market was pretty cool and entertaining. It was more than I expected. I had a great time. You can buy the tickets for this event online or at the park. It was $10 per person. There is also a parking charge of $10 or VIP parking for $20. It is a night market and so it still goes on after the park's regular hours. You can smell the food from far and it smells good. They had many stands from all over and drinks. The food variety was impressive. I wanted to try it all. Everything looked so good. What was really cool was watching some of the vendors cook. These people have skills. The night market had entertainment. I was there for a few hours. I watched dancers, a dojo demonstration, and a hot DJ play good tunes. It was nice that they had tables and chairs to sit. The entertainment was enjoyable. I had a great time. read more

Quiet Waters Park is located in Deerfield Beach conveniently just off of the Sawgrass and 10th Street and Powerline Road. There is a lot to do here. They have shelters to rent all sizes , picnic tables, BBQ s bike trails, nature trails, playground, ski rixen, disc golf, a dog park, water park , camp ground and new upcoming camping closed in bungalos with ac . I have utilized the BBQ in the past, gone on bike trails and nature trails, camping with scouts in primitive area (no longer available) camping with ready made tents , water park, beach area, company picnics and hayrides in the fall. The camping area has a lifted bottom with canvas tent for each family. There are facilities bathroom and showers for those who rent to camp. The new dog park looks amazing but I didn't go with my fur baby. They also have events sometimes for people to come see and walk around. You can spend a full day here . The water park is small and quaint for families r can go to the beach area . Ski rixen for an adventure or can play disc golf. They used to also have paddle rents to rent unsure if they still do . You can bring your own bikes, scooters, skateboards,skates,etc. There is a small fee to enter the park . Quiet Waters Park isn't some manicured postcard version of nature. It's Florida--raw, sprawling, and unapologetically itself. A couple hundred acres of trails, lakes, and enough open space to lose yourself in (or at least lose your kids for an hour while they chase ducks). Where else can you drink mead, watch a guy in tights swing a broadsword, and then rent a mountain bike all in the same day? This place has history baked into it. Before it was a park, the land was a rock quarry--literally carved up for construction material. Eventually, the county turned it into a playground for the people, which feels like the most Florida thing imaginable: take the leftovers of industry, flood it, stock it with fish, and let everyone BBQ. It's huge. Big enough that if you're on the wrong trail and the sun's setting, you'll start questioning your life choices. Big enough for cable water-skiing, for festivals that smell like turkey legs and funnel cake, for kids' birthday parties with bounce houses. And yet, it's quiet in the right spots--water birds cruising low over the lakes, the occasional turtle popping up like it's judging you for your life decisions. It's not a "destination" the way South Beach is a destination. My family and I came here for the family fun weekend August 11-13. It was a great experience overall. It was our first time camping and we all enjoyed ourselves. We had a chance to enjoy the splash area which was pretty small but the kids still enjoyed it. The movie night was great and so was the little bbq they provided. I would say the shower could be kept up a bit more so that it has a cleaner feel. The tents were an amazing size and provided great shelter. I would suggest they update their camp maps because they are not to scale at all. The campsites my family chose appeared to be much closer on the map than they actually were. This review is on the campgrounds and splash park. I rented two camp tents during their August Fun in the Sun. Checkin was a breeze, tent was nice and the grounds were good. The bathroom do need an upgrade and could be cleaner. The Fun in the Sun event included dinner, bounce house, games, and a movie night. Security did drive around the campgrounds throughout the day and night. The splash park is small but fun for the kids. I did enjoy just sitting in the water since it was a hot day. read more

I had been to the park last year for the Renaissance festival, but this time, I went just to check the grounds and the Dog Marina.....My friend Kevin has two dogs and he also wanted to see what that was all about. As we drove around, we could see many open green spaces, picnic tables, pools and lakes....and of course the dog marina... Nice large park. Ski Rixen is one of 79 cable water-ski attractions in the world, and the only wakeboard and water ski resort in South Florida. One of the hidden gems of Quiet Waters Park is the 7 plus miles of mountain bike track located in the park. Both novice and advanced trails are marked, winding through roots, rocks, sand, and jungle-like terrain. Helments are required, and you'd be crazy not to wear one. Also a day pass or year pass is required. For me, mountain biking at Quiet Waters approximates the thrill, fun, and exercise I need. It has been absolutely great fun for me and my two teenage boys to snake through the shady, dense overgrowth for a quick hour-long ride on a hot Florida afternoon. Then relax with family and friends at any of the awesome bbq areas for the day. I'd recommend it to anyone. read more

Thank you for offering Paddle boat (sitting), I wanted to surprise my boyfriend this weekend with an activity that we would both enjoy and after thinking one park offered this activity- it turned out that they no longer had the activity- I felt stuck for a moment in the pre plan so I looked and Quiet Waters saved the day! They offered an 1hr or 2hrs for a great price of either $10 or $15. We had a great time, it was something we got to share together alone on the lake. Staff made it easy and felt safe on the paddle once I got a taste of being out there. It was a cardio workout for the legs and good quality time with someone special. Pls keep this activity- very scarce in Broward or Palm Beach County. Miami is far and out the way for such activity. read more

This camping site is beautifully location. Great place to go with friends or family. The tents are big and move in readyJust take your sleeping bag a pad for the floor. Also take some string lights to place outside your tent. Adds a cozy atmosphere for your s'mores, games singing or whatever you chose to do during the evening. Our group was pretty large we had 4 tents. There are restrooms with showers. The mornings are beautiful with the views of the lake and the evening sunsets are amazing. Make sure you cover your goodies because the raccoons are out to get whatever they can to eat. Take coolers and garbage bags with ties... Can't wait to return ! read more

Quiet Waters is a great Broward County Park. There's many activities aside from the typical playgrounds, pavilions, and barbecue grills. They have a beachfront lake, children's water, park, doggy, splash area, paddle boat rentals, and even a campground for those who want to camp overnight. The star of the show though would be the Ski Rixen. It allows you to ski while being pulled by a cable around the lake. You can water ski, knee board. slalom ski or wakeboard. They also have a water obstacle course too. There are many events that take place in the park throughout the weekends, such as family, camp rides, festivals, and the Renaissance fair every year. This is a very large and beautiful park located in Deerfield Beach off of Powerline road. When my daughter was a toddler we would come and take her to the Splash Adventure Water Park that was perfect for young children. At the end of the season they host a day when you can bring your water loving dog to the park to enjoy the splash pool and small slides. As my daughter got older we would come here and ride our bikes. Later on when she was in Deerfield Beach HS I would come and watch her cross country meets here. I have a lot of fond memories of this park through the years. Now I primarily visit to attend the Renaissance Fair held every February and March. The park is large enough to host the fair and it has a beautiful lake in the center which is a great spot for taking pictures. In addition to all of the activities I mentioned the park also offers camping, picnic shelters with grills, a playground, cable water skiing with Ski Rixen, a marina with boats to rent, basketball courts, bicycle rentals, a 3,500 nature trail, and fishing in the lake. Also located in the park is the Harbin Butterfly & Bird Sanctuary which has trees, shrubs, and plants that butterflies need to thrive. On any given weekend you will find the park filled with people celebrating a birthday, water skiing, canoeing, fishing, cooking out, and enjoying just being outside in the Florida sunshine. The park charges $1.50 weekend and holiday fee. It's myriad of activities make it a great place to hang out and experience the best outdoor activities South Florida has to offer. read more

We went Camping here and got a spot by the Lake. It was beautiful and thankfully the weather was great. Make sure to bring plenty of light because it gets dark after 11. I stayed at the camp grounds. Highly recommend renting camp sites #8 and #9, as these accommodate larger parties. The two areas are tucked away and give you plenty of privacy. This may be a downfall but quite exciting, the raccoons. Do not leave any food in your bags, whether zipped or out in the open. Store all food in your car and throw away trash dumpsters. Each campsite comes with one reserved parking spot. read more

We went to Quiet Waters Park for the Renaissance Festival. What a hoot! There are vendors galore with food, drink and wares. Some renaissance related, some not so much. It is a great place to people watch though! Those attached to the festival you would expect proper attire of the time but festival goers really get into the moment. Many people dress for the period so there are prince and princesses, Faires, peasants and swords galore! I am sort of a history geek so I found it enjoyable and something interesting to do. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we ended our stay just in time for a downpour that drenched us to the bone. Sad to say I didn't see much of the park itself, had it been closer to home I would probably go back to check it out. Reading others reviews I am impressed with what the park has to offer so maybe if I am in the neighborhood I will drop by. Came here to attend a company event. I remember coming here a while ago to attending the Renaissance Festival and thought it's a nice park. It's located in Deerfield Beach right on Powerline Road and it's pretty easy to get to. And the place is large and beautiful. I thought I was going to pay for a dollar or two for the park fees, but when I was there I was able to get in without paying. I guess they only charge entrance fees on weekends I drove through the loop around the lake and arrived at our gather spot Bold Eagle area. It's got a big shelter with lots of table and seats so we don't have to be baked under the sun. The area is huge and I think it can probably hold over 200 people. Besides the shelter it's got a huge grass field which some of my coworks were tossing frisbees and footballs around. There is also a nice bike path going around the park. It's also a dog friendly so you can bring your fur babies along with you! read more

It may not offer everything a park can, but it sure comes close and what's really interesting is the unique offerings here. I've been coming here since it's opening in the 1983... I was just a little tyke but for whatever reason I remember that days event vividly. Free Bar-B-Q, popcorn and cotton candy. The miniature golf course was free for the day and they brought in a bounce house and it was hosted by a local radio station. A memorable day indeed. Today the miniature golf course is gone but other attractions have been brought in. Splash Adventure is a water park for kids that was built in the mid 1990s (offering water slides, wheels and wet fun). Mountain bike trails, basketball courts, skate park, designated fishing areas, lake swim areas and bounce house rentals have all been added over the years. And the park has become home to one of the best Renaissance Fairs. The park is well taken care of and offers something for everyone: Mountain Biking: roughly 7 miles of trails of varying difficulty (which is marked accordingly on the trail). The only downer at this park was after Hurricane Wilma, many of the trees were in need of cleanup; but rather than simple removal of fallen trees and limbs, the cleanup included removal of trees that were undamaged. Huge areas were cleared out; it was truly unnecessary and heartbreaking. Other than this incident, this is one of South Florida's premiere parks. read more

Quiet Waters is a beautiful large park with scores of activities going on most of the time. From the Renaissance Festival to huge family picnics, there is almost always an interesting event going on. When the weather isn't unbearably hot, you can have a great time walking, running or just having a nice picnic. It is so beautiful at Quiet Waters that you can just drive through the park and imagine that you are in the woods having a great time. It is so nice that Deerfield Beach has such a nice place for residents and non-residents to go and relax. There are two beautiful lakes and many picnic areas. It is only 5 minutes from my house, so I drive by the park quite often. It is well-kept and always beautiful. Take my advice and enjoy nature at Quiet Waters Park. read more

March 22, the splash pad opens up and it cannot come Soon enough. That is all. I attached a picture of my tiny roommates preparing for a water gun war. The roommates just walked up to random kids and said, "hey wanna have a shootout with my sweet water guns?" And the random kids were like, "yeah." The other parents were cool with it. The lifeguards were great. They made all of the warriors repeat the rules for the battle that was to come. 1-no shooting faces. 2-no shooting strangers or babies. 3-no shooting anyone who didn't have a water gun. It was a solid afternoon and there were minimal casualties. I cannot wait for this place to open back up. HURRY UP MARCH 22!! read more

Do whatever you want at quiet waters park. They don't enforce anything. Park wherever you want, drive you car on walking paths, park right up on a pavilion while there is a parking lot 30 feet away. The best I seen yet was parking their car on the walking path. Workers just drive on by and enforce nothing. Not so at all the other parks. I certainly don't blame the people as when they see this they follow. Now it's a free for all. Whoever is running quiet waters park is running it to the ground. Find a replacement already. read more

I finally made it to Quiet Waters Park! Came here this past weekend to snap some photos of my wife doing Yoga. We were looking for some new locations - and I've heard of all the fun festivals and happenings at Quiet Waters Park, so I figured it might make for a nice backdrop - it sure did! First off - this is a massive park! There's so much to do here. Sking - they have a center lake where you can water ski. There's wires above the lake and some sort of mechanism that pulls you through the water as you hold on to a cord. Pretty cool to see everyone trying it out - and almost made me want to try! Maybe some day. There are various shelters for large parties - and plenty of open grassy areas to just set up shop and make your own party. Plenty of folks on this Sunday afternoon - some even brought huge speakers and were playing music as they grilled, played games or just relaxed. They have camping grounds as well. We ventured off into that area - really cool. They have some individual sites for you to set up shop and become one with nature - without really being out of touch. Didn't go too far in as there were a lot of people set up in there and since we weren't camping we technically weren't supposed to be there. So yea we broke the rules - YOLO! There's a charge of 1.50 per person on weekends and I think that's totally worth it. Really nice view of the sunset from various areas of the park too. read more
