The water pressure was great as well as the electrical (which stayed at 120 volts all day according to my gauges). During this visit we stayed at site #62. Thank you John Prince Park for a very enjoyable 7 day stay!!!! We will be back in a few months to visit our kids and grandkids! Definitely recommend this park and campground.

I loved that it offers so many activities in one place--kayaking, paddleboarding, the beach, picnic areas, a gift shop, and educational exhibits--all at very reasonable prices. Parking was only $5, and the kayak and paddleboard rentals were affordable too. Unfortunately, I happened to visit on a day with an extremely low tide. Paddleboard rentals were suspended, but kayak rentals were still available. The staff did warn us about the low tide and advised us to stay near the edges to avoid getting stuck. However, as someone new to kayaking, I didn't realize just how much the tide would impact the experience. For a large portion of our trip, the water was so shallow that our kayaks constantly got stuck. We had to repeatedly get out and drag them through the water. At times, the water wasn't even ankle deep. I completely understand that the staff can't control the tides, but I honestly wish kayak rentals had also been paused that day because the conditions made it difficult to really enjoy the experience. By the time we finished kayaking, we were exhausted and felt pretty gross from walking through the murky water, so we ended up skipping the beach altogether. Outside of that, the park itself looked lovely. There was a nice picnic area, a cute gift shop, and they even had a rescued sea turtle with a volunteer sharing information about sea turtle conservation, which was a really nice touch. There also appeared to be several educational exhibits throughout the park, although they happened to be closed during our visit. One downside was a pretty unpleasant smell near the gift shop, but I'm guessing that may have also been related to the unusually low tide. Despite my experience, I haven't written the park off. The photos I've seen online make it look absolutely beautiful, and I think we were just unlucky with the timing. I'd definitely consider coming back on a day with higher water levels to give it another chance. It sounds like a great park overall--I just recommend checking the tide conditions before planning to kayak or paddleboard so you can enjoy it at its best.

This review is for the South side of Lake Worth Beach…read more Lake Worth Beach is the closest beach to me, and although I used to mainly only go to Kreusler Park adjacent to this, I have now begun hitting the opposite end, the very South Side of the beach. I park at the City parking pass spots on the bottom parking level, just in front of the grassy little hill, and let my kids run in the grass and climb the trees in the top part while I unload the car. Then we walk a short distance to the very South beach access. This part of the beach is lovely, usually you can walk out really far in the water, no rocks, fish around. The bathrooms are in a little building along here that also has an overhand where people gather when it rains, and the roundabout for pickups/drop offs makes this super convenient. I don't like the fake pigeon squawks, which are really annoying if you're hanging in the picnic area near here under the trees, which is where I usually have my kids eat instead of lugging food down to the beach. And the only 1 shower thing is frustrating, but otherwise, this is a lovely spot!

But just after one visit we realized what an amazing park this is and often drive from two cities away just to visit. This park is a lovely escape to nature in South Florida. Boosting, many walking paths, bike paths, a dog park, a splash pad, frisbee, golf pitch, fishing areas, boating lake and many other sports areas. Overall, the paths pavement are generally well maintained, however, you do get a little bit of cracking as you do with most paved areas in Florida due to the heat- nothing too extreme, it was still easy to push a stroller. The bathrooms are always clean, yet admittedly, they are quite dated and dark on the inside, even though hygienically they are up to standards . Perhaps adding some better lighting on the inside could help make it feel a little nicer. Today while walking around the park, we visited many of the small playgrounds and our young child enjoyed getting out to play .

I came in the evening to investigate how serene and quiet this establishment was before committing to moving here. Quiet and peaceful. What I can say is that it is a very kind, respectful, professional establishment with hard working people doing their absolute best all time time. They are always working to maintain the property. They are always receptive and communicative. Friendly, organized, family like environment. It has a little bit of everything which I love. You have a few kids that play around late afternoon which I love 'it makes me feel like being around children is what makes us allowed to feel that energy and be able to relax as they are. The major issue is that one of the older campers (who is suppose to help with the younger campers) stole my child's money. When my child told me about this issue I did contact the camp owner who told me he did see the older camper with my child's wallet. When I asked how this issue would be handled I was told that the owner would speak to the camper about the issue and let me know. Almost a week later I have not received a call back about the resolution. The owner appears not care about this older camper taking my child's money nor dealing with the core issue of stealing. On top of this both my children left labeled items in the camp van, and after multiple attempts to recover the missing items I have given up.

From all entrances, head south on the main park roadm following the signs towards the campground. The trailhead parking is on the left, and the trail is on the right 0.7 mile south of the Prince Drive entrance, soon after a sharp left turn; watch for the trailhead sign. Hike A mile of trails wind through the tropical hammock, enabling you to make loops of half a mile or a quarter mile. The trail was a short 15 minutes and unfortunately we did not see any birds or rabbits .
