But, wanted our son to be old enough to participate with us. We did it together in June! A random Google search and good reviews led us here. Our instructor Joe treated us like family. He took extra care with our son being patient and repetitive until he mastered the safety skills. Katie helped out mama bear with breathing and buoyancy. Hubby was previously certified and did his refresher alongside us. He also picked out our gear like a kid in a candy store. We appreciate the hospitality and look forward to many more underwater adventures.

Kevin assured me via email that I would be in good hands and he and his crew followed through on his promise. During the trip out to the site he explained things that would be different from freshwater diving and went over safety procedures as well as what we would be seeing underwater. Once underwater he monitored me and pointed out things too see but at the same time let it be my dive, not just me chasing him around. For those of you who are experienced divers he has a style for you also. He gets you to the site, provides you with a safe and friendly experience but lets you do your own thing. You tow a flag and they monitor it. You hit the surface and they pick you up. If you need something he and his crew are there but he doesn't try to smother you.

Stopping this time, we were met with complete indifference, bordering on rudeness by the dock hands. Both of them were pointedly unhelpful and made us never want to stop here again .
