Caught a Wahoo and was the species I was searching for at the time since in our local Texas offshore waters are so shallow making a long ride to be deep enough to try also few and far between to catch one. lemeaux was the best for the search and he came through as promised. The Saltwater Angler Magazine had done an Article on him I had read it and booked with him. We had the Wahoo cooked at the restaurant in his Marina and travelled back with it wrapped and remained good a month later read more

Le-Mieux Charters - Tera, my Love and me at a concert later with sister in law Melba. - Fishing Near Me - Hypoluxo, Florida

Absolutely incredible captain and immaculate boat with all the tackle and bait needed for species targets. We had an incredible experience from the first call to the last cast. Captain Chris is super knowledgable of the waters and will go to the max to land fish. As seasoned NE anglers in new territory, would recommend for everyone - beginners to experts and he's great with kids! Look forward to fishing again with Le-Mieux on the next trip. read more

Our captain Stan got us on to 2 sailfish. One was 7 feet long. His ability to spot them, anticipate their movement, and get them to take the bait was amazing. After things slowed down he asked us if we wanted to try to catch a shark over a wreck before heading in. He predicted what he expected to happen and right on cue we get a hit. My 14 year old grandson landed a 10 foot bull shark that weighed around 500 pounds. A fishing day that will never be forgotten. read more

Chris is awesome. I took my father in law out for his first fishing charter and it was amazing. He was a friend of a friend of a friend, so I wasn't sure what I was going to get. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! He is a master of the trade, and he was great explaining how to fish for everything we caught and tried for. His mate, Kohl, is fantastic as well. They were amazing all around, and I want to come back to vacation nearby just so I can go on another charter with him. 10/10 worth the money, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! read more

Chris was by far the best guide I have ever fished with. First, we went and caught bait fish for the day. Watching this dude do his thing was an awesome experience and saves you loads of money on buying bait! Worth the 15 mins trust me!! We then went on and caught dolphin fish, king fish, snappers, and Bonita untill my arms fell off!! When we got back to the marina it was incredible how many other boats came back empty handed!! That's when I knew I picked the right captain. Will definitely be using him again on our next trip to Florida! read more

If you are looking to do some fishing with some friends and have a great time then call Captain Chris of Le-Mieux Charters! I have been on other charters which were those big diesel engine boats with a crowd of people you don't know and you end up getting naucious from the fumes. Never again! Captain Chris offers a very personal, hands on fishing experience. He showed us how to throw a cast net to get some bait fish and then took us out. He asked us what we were interested in catching and then navigated out to his spots. We started fishing for bonita just to get the feel for the "fight." We bagged about 20 of those suckers before moving on to catching some "eatin" fish. He baited the hooks with some squid and we dropped the lines at his spots and we started landing the red snapper. At the end of the day, we walked away with 20 red snappers, a handful of trigger fish and a couple of others. The rate for a four hour excursion is more than reasonable and competetive with the other charters that go out from around here. The difference is the small group, hands on, personal experience you get from Capt Chris aboard his 27 foot tourney rigged Conch. We will definitely be booking our next excursion sooner rather than later. read more

Captain Chris was not only funny and nice but he knew all the great spots to get fish!! We had a great time! Will definitely go again and when we have family and friends come in he would be the person I'd have take us out. At the end of our fishing trip he cleaned all our fish and gave us great tips on cleaning and freezing fresh fish! All around great fun experience!! read more

Chris is fantastic. You will not be disappointed! We hooked 2 sailfish and a 22+ lb mahi mahi, plus dinner many times over. Bring a cooler, you'll need it. He is very knowledgable, knows where to float, helps you to bring your catch on board with proper technique. This is not the bells & whistles tour boat but a great charter for true sports fisherman. read more

We had a fantastic time fishing with Captain Chris. We've done a few other local charter fishing trips, but Capt. Chris was the most knowledgeable (and genuinely friendly) that we've experienced - he knew exactly where to take us, and the kids had a fantastic time reeling in almost 20 fish (14 of which we were able to keep). The family is already clamoring for their next fishing trip with Capt. Chris. read more

Le-Mieux Charters - An awesome day - Fishing Near Me - Hypoluxo, Florida

Had a great "first fishing" experience with Captain Chris a few weekends ago and already looking forward to our next trip back. I chose Le-Mieux charters as a birthday fishing trip for my boyfriend- based only on my research and other reviews- and I am so glad I did! Captain Chris was super knowledgeable, patient, and a great hang! We began the trip by watching Chris work diligently to catch the live bait fish and it was clear he knew what he was doing as we saw a few other boats around us struggling and scaring the bait fish away. Captain Chris took us to two different spots to catch different fish and showed us exactly what to do. We ended up with some delish red snapper for dinner, as well as one other type (can't remember which!), and I don't think I've ever tasted fish so fresh!! Chris even cleaned and filleted the fish for us at the end of the trip. Captain Chris is super passionate about his craft and really knows the ins and outs of the area. Overall, such a great experience and we can't wait to take our family members with us next time. read more

We found Captain Chris from the great reviews and he did not disappoint. He is connected to the sea - he knows exactly what he's doing and where the fish are biting. We used different rods where he felt we would have the greatest success. Chris is a all-around nice guy and for us as total novices he made us feel right at home on the boat. We were deciding between other charters, the ones that take a bunch of people, and decided for more of an intimate charter because of what we read. And Chris was absolutely worth it. We're from Vegas, first timers ocean fishing and we will be back, with Chris every time we're in the area! read more

Wow! This guy is legit! FISH ON all day. We have a freezer full of Dolphin and Tuna. He uses live bait and tray is key. He knows the water and a has a comfortable, safe boat. This is now my second time with Capt Chris and I would not go out with anyone else. Every time is such an experience on the sea. He is a fine fishermen. This is the ONLY charter I would recommend. What a great find. read more

We come down to Fl every year and fishing is always on the itinerary. In the past, we've gone out on party boats with varying degrees of success and enjoyment, This year, we decided it might be worthwhile to try and charter a boat ourselves. That was the best decision I've made in a long time! Chris is an incredible, kind, fun and an amazing guide. I brought my 10 year-old twins out and Chris could not have been more patient and engaging with them. He made a point of explaining everything he was doing, showing them tips for casting and fishing in general and, most importantly, he kept looking for fish until he found them! It was an overcast day with rough waters so Chris kept us in the inlet and trolled around until he hit the jackpot. We landed in a spot where the kids were reeling in a fish every 3-5 minutes and loving it! When they caught smaller fish, Chris was just as excited as when they caught larger ones - it was awesome. He explained what each of the fish were, posed for photos and encouraged the boys to touch the fish and learn about them. When we got back to the dock, there were some pelicans there and he even encouraged the kids to feed them so they could see them up close. I fish a lot and have done on many party boats and charters in FL and NY and I can say without reservation, this was one of the best fishing experiences I've had! read more

If you are looking to charter a trip anywhere near Boynton Beach, or anywhere in South Florida for that matter, Capt. Chris Lemieux should be at the top of your list. Took one of my friends out for his bachelor party this past Saturday for a full, 8 hour trip, and we had a blast. Five guys were able to fish on his 27' Conch comfortably, and Capt. Chris put us on the fish as promised! We got started early, and fished nonstop for the full 8 hours. Chris worked his tail off to be sure that every guy on the boat had bait in the water, and he also gave great advice on some techniques that led to a couple nice wahoo! I would recommend Capt. Chris to beginners for sure, but also to people who may have a little more fishing experience. He is more than willing to cater to your target species, and knows his way around flying the kite for sailfish, offshore trolling, etc. When we got back to the ramp, he was more than happy to stay and clean the 30+ mahi we brought back. Fishing with Capt. Chris was like going out with one of your buddies, and his prices are competitive and affordable. I was referred to Capt. Chris from a good friend, and personally know several experienced fisherman who would choose Capt. Chris over any other captain in the Boynton area in a heartbeat. Keep in mind when you book your next trip! read more

Had the best experience ever on the water with Captain Chris. He put us on the fish and is very knowledgeable. Can't wait to go again ! Highly recommend read more

Captain Chris was so wonderful, personable skilled. His knowledge of the area was so great we came home with more fish than the 6 people can eat in Two days. We will be doing this again read more

Awesome feeling to do this with you.. This is the best time to fish for me. Thanks for this.

Captain Chris is very thorough and extremely knowledgeable about fishing. He is a great guy, very personable, and dedicated to safety. He is asking patient with those who don't know anything about fishing, and very eager to share knowledge. I brought my 80 year old stepdad, Dan, on his boat to go sail fishing because it was on his bucket list. Captain Chris was good at keeping him engaged so that he didn't feel left out even though he could not maneuver around the boat or reel in big fish by himself. Dan loved being on the boat and talking to Captain Chris about what fishing is like out here in FL. I also forgot to mention the my aunt, who just had foot surgery, was coming with us and captain Chris was very accepting and made our trip truly something to remember. Unfortunately we did not catch any sailfish when we went out, but we did reel in a big wahoo, which Captain Chris cut up for us so that we could cook it for dinner. It was delicious. I would defiantly go out with Captain Chris again for all of my future fishing trips. read more

Captain Chris is wonderful and had a great time! Highly recommend it and will be worth it! Such fun:)

My family and I had a great fishing experience thanks to Captain Chris. It had been a while since I had booked a private charter and I was really looking forward to it. Captain Chris did not disappoint. He is very focused on what you are there to do. Catch Fish! We began by quickly locating and catching some prime bait which we filled the live well with. Chris was very hands on and never stopped working. We had a great day on the water catching fish, fighting fish . We even hooked two sailfish at once. I credit that to the captains drive to find the fish. Looking forward to my next trip down to Florida and fishing with Captain Chris. read more

Simply the best charter I've experienced in Southeast Florida. I should know I was a mate on a charter boat for eight years in Marco Island. Captain Chris goes out of his way to catch fish. He's a fisherman and loves it. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences with his customers. Chris would be out there every day doing the same thing with his friends and not get paid. Go by yourself, take your wife, take your kids............everyone's going to love it. He's got great tackle; including kites and drogues and you'll catch fish. Chris talked me out of going out for a full day. I wondered why when he did. The reason was by the time four hours was up, I was ready to come home. My arm and back were tired. After catching live bait we were into the fish within 15 minutes and did not stop for the next 3 1/2 hours. We landed mahi, blackfin and bonito. I'm sure we hooked a shark as well, but didn't find out because it ripped off 300 yards of line and couldn't stop it. Go fishing with Chris you'll catch tons of fish and have a great time. read more

Captain Chris was great. I think his boat was a 28 footer. He was waiting for us with a smile. At the dock and on time. We received his number from another captain who was busy that day. He is a younger captain in his 30's I suspect though I never asked him. We had our family of 5 on the boat and were not trophy hunting but looking for a fun day out on the water. It was perfect the ocean there just off shore is a beautiful blue. We went out till it was over 100 feet deep and drifted back toward the shallows and repeated this several times. Chris was very attentive to our 3 children. Making sure they each had a turn, even my 4 year old. When we were finished he didn't kick us off the boat like I have experienced in the past. He was very casual and relaxed and even showed my son some pointers on throwing our cast net. He fileted up some of our fish and recommended a great spot close by Hurricane Alley to cook up our catch. It felt like fishing with a friend, not someone who was just there for the paycheck great job Chris we will see you next time we are down in Fl. Oh yeah, he called us after we left and drove out of his way to return or boys life vests we had left on the boat. read more

Our group of five had a great morning fishing with Chris. At the outset we had a few folks more committed to a nice boat ride than fishing. In the end we fished up a storm and everyone landed a beauty. We caught Wahoo, King Mackerel and shark. Chris knows where to go, what to use and is a really nice guy to boot. He employs an amazing (to this newbie) kite-fishing system to keep the bait near the surface. Checked off a bucket list item (35 lb. fish!) for one of us! read more

You will not find a better charter! Fishing is one of Capt. Chris' deepest passions. He has decades of experience and it truly shows when you are out on the water with him. One if his true gifts is taking some of the best, advanced fishing techniques and being able to make them simple enough for beginners to learn and experience what off shore fishing is all about. His number one goal is to make sure you have a good time and catch dinner. He gets up before the sun rises and goes out to catch live bait to ensure you'll be reeling in sailfish, wahoo, kingfish, tuna, mahi mahi, etc. He'll also take you over to the reefs so you can catch snapper and grouper. In simple terms - it doesn't get any better than Le-Mieux Charters. read more
