    Intracoastal beach

I was looking for a public park with Intracoastal 'beach' access (closer than Phil Foster or Jupiter). I used to think the Intracoastal was beyond disgusting, but in high tide with clearer water, it has its benefits! Especially for children, as the water is calm for swimming, without waves or rip currents or steep shelf drop offs. There is also lots of ocean life near rocks and bridge legs and docks, ripe for finding creatures easy enough for little people to catch. This park has mulptiple parts to it, including a sort-of pier and an Atlantic ocean beachfront, but it also has a part with a small sandy beachfront on the Intracoastal. This has rock piles on both sides, but the waterfront is protected by bouys and goes out pretty far and is very shallow. Great for children and also being able to laze around and cool off and float. The Intracoastal fishing section is far from the swimming section, which is nice. There is also shade here in the form of several covered pavilions with picnic tables as well as actual trees! And best of all, there is a playground that is practically waterfront. This park is under construction in more than 1 part if it, and there is no lifeguard, and a squirrel ate the plastic lid from my sandwich tupperware, and a no swimming sign warns of bacterial infections- but no one heeds this sign at all (and these warnings are often outdated or incorrect). Also there is no ocean breeze or ocean wave sound or ocean horizon view! Last night, a group of folks brought a large speaker on wheels and was blasting it across the park- so loud you couldn't hear yourself talk.

We discovered this spot of beach the other day after spending the day at delray and just driving at the coast a little bit. On the other side of the road they have a really cool park where you could have access to inter coastal Way and maybe take a kayak. A pleasant family orientated Park. I would love to go back and do some kayaking from there.

Ok just discovered this gem.... AMAZING time. Love love how private it is. Will definitely be of my favorite spots to go to paddle board and snorkel. Has a cute little park and a pier to fish. Must stop by if in the area.

Ocean Inlet Park is nestled in the midst of some ultra expensive mansions. These people are so wealthy that they build a second dwelling on the beach side nicer than most peoples houses just to not have to cross the road to use the bathroom back at their mansion. A house on Ocean Blvd is in the 30 million and above range. Don't even think about speeding or stopping here because the area is constantly patrolled by the Manalapan Police. If you are not rolling with the millionaires and billionaires than you will appreciate the ability to use the beach in this park and best of all the parking is free. This park is located on the same real estate that the neighbors are paying millions for. The really cool thing about this 11.39 acre park, besides free parking, is that you can swim in the Intracoastal or or you can cross the street and avail yourself of 600 feet of life guard patrolled beach on the Atlantic Ocean. The Boynton Inlet connects the ocean to the Intracoastal allowing boats to pass through. Other park amenities include a fishing pier, kayak launch, playground, marina, picnic pavilions with grills, restrooms, and a shower. South District Ocean Rescue has their headquarters here. You can fish, snorkel, swim, picnic, and play in this park. Bring your own food and this an affordable family outing for the day. The ability to enjoy both the Intracoastal and the ocean is what makes this park special. Ocean Inlet Park is open every day from sun up to sun down and the marina is open 24 hours a day.

I've been living in Palm Beach County for years between Boynton Beach and Lake Worth, and not once had I ever visited Ocean Inlet Park until this weekend. After this, I will be coming out more. Having gone to a beach party hosted by one of my friends, Ocean Inlet Park is one of the cooler places to get some rays and enjoy the bathtub-temperature water. It's great to go with friends, families, or by yourself. There's the inlet beach where you the waves aren't as bad as the ocean side, and you can wade in the water and chill. There's at least three pavilions that are first come, first serve -- and you will need to get early if you want to stake claim to one. There's free parking, which is tough to find beaches that don't charge. There's boat docks, BBQ grills, and a playground for the kids. If you're into kayaking, you can definitely bring yours to the inlet and head up and down the inter-coastal. Having made my first proper visit to this beach, I will be returning with friends for more. I'm not a beach person, but I do like coming to Ocean Inlet.

This is such a beautiful park with water access to the intercoastal. It is a perfect place to have a party, family gathering, or just a quiet place for some alone time. There is no charge to enter the parking lot eventhough there is a guard house at the entrance. For parking, there are a few options. One area is near the intercoastal beach, one area is for people who want to walk over to the Atlantic side of the beach, and the other area is where the people park who go fishing from the seawall or the inlet pier. I enjoy going to all three areas. The beach is nice for shelling and taking a long walk along the shoreline. I also like to go out on the pier to watch the boats go in and out of the inlet. Crazy to watch it during really rough, windy weather when the chop is more than 8 feet. This is really a cool place to take some nature pictures as there are birds and other creatures near the mangroves. The rocks also make a good backdrop. I don't have a boat but if I did, this seems like a good place to keep it for easy intercoastal usage.

My daughter still had to stand in line to get our tickets. Next, we accidentally designed an entry line next to the ship. People: "Are you in line?" Us: "Yes" LOL! It's a good thing because when it's time to remove the rope, guests quickly took "all aboard" pictures and then they rushed off to find good seating. My daughters already had eyed the best seating "for us" from IG photos. We sat in the air conditioned indoor area up the first set of stairs. I assume it's the main deck. I was so pleased that we had a table and four comfy chairs next to a window near the bar. As a cancer patient, I was dreading being in the hot sun for the entire two hour tour. The server didn't appear to be motivated to be there. She took our order and delivered the food promptly but there was never a smile or friendly conversation no matter how we tried. We ordered chips and salsa and chicken tenders along with drinks. Next time, we will definitely skip the overly breaded, dry chicken tenders. My family said the drinks were popping. The cruise was delightful even though the narrator's mic was staticky. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We also walked around and took many selfies. It was worth the price.

There were a variety of Adirondack chairs to enjoy, but they were removed, and now there is no place to sit anymore. I dont suggest standing in the grass because too many people let their dogs relieve themselves instead of going to a dog park. Stopping this time, we were met with complete indifference, bordering on rudeness by the dock hands. I can understand this from the young man who maybe didn't know any better but there was an older gentleman "working" as well whose attitude was identical. Both of them were pointedly unhelpful and made us never want to stop here again . We always tip at least $5 and sometimes $10 if two people help us, no matter if we are delivering a mega yacht or a crappy little sailboat. I didn't even feel badly departing without tipping either of these people. Whoever manages this fuel dock needs to invest in training your people.
