Was expecting some actual tour info, never visited this area and only new tidbit I learned was in regards to the golden gate. We did sail past a lighthouse but nothing was said about it! The tour guide, Tony was nice enough, but definitely wasn't engaging. Kinda gave the vibes as if our tour was an after thought and honestly didn't want to be there and not familiar with our boat. Tour also started late because we were sent the wrong address. Captain confirmed but wasn't at the confirmed location when we called and we had to drive elsewhere. No signs or flags just "walk to the back of the restaurant". The boat had tiki decor, but could definitely get a facelift. There were bean bags to sit on that have seen better days. Seats in the front would get splashed with water. The floor had wet turf, so be aware of that! Water was offered and stored in a cooler. The cooler also doubled as a seat. Lack of cup holders. Life jackets were dirty! Being that the tour was a sunset one we were anticipating sailing in the dark. Was not expecting to be sailing in pitch black. The only light was from the shore and other boats. Captain couldn't figure how to turn on the string lights. Even when he supposedly called for assist no one knew how to turn it on. We were offered to extend the trip but definitely declined since what would be the point?! We had a good time because of the fun that we brought. Likely wouldn't return with my family.

You are given a lot more food on this food tour than on others we have done, so come hungry! I would highly recommend this for families, couples, people visiting the area on vacation, and even corporate outings.

Our group met up with our tour guide Anthony at El Camino in Pineapple Grove. We were given a short introduction and sat down to our first tasting starting with Margaritas, Home Made Chips with Red and Green Salsa and Brisket Quesadillas. What a great way to start the fun. Next stop was a real surprise, an Asian Street Food location off the beaten path called Goodies. We sampled a delicious fruit tea and a new item to me JianBing, an Asian chicken burrito with a crunch which made the taste and texture exceptional. We actually watched the chef create this on a crepe maker! (see video) This is a great affordable lunch stop in Delray! Next stop, Beer Trade company very conveniently located next door to Goodies. Everyone was offered a beer of their choice from a HUGE selection in the cold case and on tap. It all started in Maryland so Old Bay was a great addition to their Honey Old Bay wings recipe marinated in what else BEER. They were crispy and sweet with quite a kick! We also sampled the risotto balls - yummy! We walked a few blocks to stop #4 Death by Pizza! The owner Koby greeted us and gave us some background of this Detroit style pizza company which has become a very popular location two blocks off Atlantic. What a treat! This business is take-out only so we stood outside and sampled a square thick crispy crust slice topped with amazing cheese and tomato sauce known as The Enemy! I can see why..i gained a pound in the sampling but boy was it worth it!! Sadly one last stop, (i was FULL but having way too much fun) @ Dekes Coffee. Nico, a young visionary, gave us a full explanation of the coffee making process as we sampled an affogato, espresso shot over a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If you like strong unsweetened coffee, this is your coffee shop. From coffee plant to green coffee beans to the roasting process, we saw it all. Unfortunately, I don't remember where the coffee beans originated in our espresso affogato, however Nico spoke of Ethiopian coffee as one they serve often. I would highly recommend this tour as a chance to sample some great independent restaurants in Delray. Our group seemed to be most impressed with the gems we found off the beaten path. Their tours and gift cards can be purchased online. #craftfoodtoursdelraybeach

We went on a 3 day adventure for our 1st Margaritaville and Sea Cruise!…read moreBoarding was a breeze! The staff was super friendly and they had us on board shortly after we arrived. At 1st glance that ship was very clean and fresh. Plenty of smiling faces around and everyone was happy to be there. As per the usual we had to get acquainted with the ship and find our muster station. (that was easy) Now on to some food and drink. It was raining but we made the best of it and most did. Room time! Spacious and well kept. Large port window and the standard bedding. (We did NOT have a fridge!) We asked our porter and he said "it was broken so they removed it" WHAT!? Ok :( The club was great every night and the white party even better! This is a small ship but still a fun ship. If its close to you, take a chance on it if you like smaller crowds this is the one for you! See you Soon!

First and LAST time on a Margaritaville cruise…read more The port parking was easy to find. We parked and checked our luggage with the porter. We entered the terminal to check in. Check in was easy but busy. We were assigned the time between 12pm-1pm to check in. Once on the ship, it was down hill. We went to our muster station, which was not labeled to find easily. Completed our muster. Then we went to get lunch from the buffet. The options were limited at the actual buffet area where you serve yourself. They had the buffet, cheeseburgers, tacos, pizza, and sandwiches. The food was mediocre at best this day and throughout the week. It was a struggle to find something to eat that was edible and tasted good. Even the jello was tasteless. Once our room was ready, we went to it. Luggage was not there upon arrival, but it arrived shortly after. It was a struggle with the AC in the room from the moment we checked in. We told our room steward immediately, who said once the ships sets sail, the air would work better. That never happened. It was consistently warm to hot in our room. Guest services was notified a few times via phone and in person. But it was not fixed. Not even sure someone came to our room. We waited several times but we never made contact with the person who came to "fix" it. We made the best of it but it was not comfortable at all. Most of the time we were hot and sweating at night and while in our room getting ready for the day or dinner. Mohamad was fantastic! He was our room steward. He took amazing care of us and our room. Our room was always clean and we always had fresh and clean towels! Entertainment was lacking for sure and limited. There was a lot of time where there was very little to nothing going on and to do. The excursions through the ship were limited as well. We picked to do the Margaritaville Resort in Nassau. We walked off the ship and through the port to transportation. This part was easy and well organized. The resort itself was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool was nice and not crazy crowded. The beach was another story. Absolutely packed and barely room to walk down to the waters edge. Not sure if it's only for Margaritaville Resort guests and day passes or if it's open to the public too. Drink package felt pricey at $360 for 4 days, and this was on sale. We had two port days, one embarkation day, and one sea day. I would NOT ever cruise again with Margaritaville.
